So far I have been able to predict only FaZe's victory. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Even they scared me after losing on the first map which was Nuke. Even though Nuke was not a map that they were performing badly they still lost by a decent score gap. Heroic were the victim of Anubis map. We watched 2 OTs and finally OG won by 22-19. Anubis didn't go well for Outsiders either even though it was their pick actually. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Now, Natus Vincere - Vitality is going on. There is a 11-11 tie on Inferno - the first map. Natus Vincere picked Nuke and the final map is Mirage. Even if they lose on this map I think they can win the others both. They removed Anubis by the way. They were normally preferring Dust2 a lot but it looks like they aren't ready for Anubis yet.

Blast Premier World Final matches are about to be underway by tomorrow. The matches of the first day and my predictions are like these:
Outsiders - Liquid FaZe - G2 Heroic - OG Natus Vincere - Vitality
Outsiders are the last champions of Major. I don't think they will lose their momentum yet. Liquid haven't been very consistent lately. There were speculations such as YEKINDAR was about to leave as well. They must be grateful for him to stay because he is the most impressive player of the roster. I don't think they can Outsiders unless they make some improvement in team performance.
G2 are away from their old times. Even though FaZe aren't having their brightest days they are still better than G2. They should be winning.
OG are really weak against Heroic on paper. Maybe Heroic will have k0nfig as stand-in for stavn. But I still think they will get a decent win.
The last matchup is a really competitive one actually but Vitality's momentum has dropped down recently. Natus Vincere are in a similar situation but I think they still have the strength to beat them in s1mple's lead.

Messi has just scored a penalty and finally Argentina found just the goal they wanted early in the match. Livakovic really didn't have anything to do against that penalty. Argentina weren't able to play the game they wanted before this goal actually. Croatia were doing really good just as they did against Brazil. But Alvarez got a really crucial penalty for his team there. After this goal Croatia will need to take bigger risks of course. They are known by being able to equalize the score in such situations. They did it to Brazil even though we were in the last minutes of extra time. Argentina should just be careful in defense and benefit from the spaces Croatia will give to them as of now. EDIT: And it is 2-0 now thanks to Alvarez's goal. I think it is GG now. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

feels good to be in semi-finals, and we have some parallel to WC as well, Croatia and Morocco went to SF from same group, and here only two groups are in SF, Harkorede and slaman29 were in group A, and Kanapka and me in group G
good fight with CLS63, both getting five points, another decider to went through, and have to say luck, Kane penalty missed and Rashford inched over the bar in last minute, but that is history now, and off to SF with slaman29
congrats to all SF participants, but also to those that went out, it is mostly a matter of luck in these roulettes
I have been busy during this week so I can newly congratulate you now, casperBGD. Even though I played my best stage I'm saying goodbye to the tournament in the quarter finals. If Kane's penalty ended up with a goal things were going to be very different. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) From now on, I'm supporting you in the tournament. I hope that you can manage to show a good performance in the semi finals as well. Cro2 team are giving us lessons every day about how an organization should be made. Congrats! As I've lost a lot of money in the World Cup so far, I won't be able to bet on casperBGD. However I believe in him.

Chelsea had better make some signings in the upcoming transfer window. They need to do this for especially their attacking side. Because there has been a significant decrease in their scoring performance for many weeks. Maybe the mental problems are also a big factor in this result. But I still think that they need a striker as soon as possible. They were close to finishing the Nkunku deal maybe but this transfer will be completed by next summer in the end.
If they don't bring anyone before the second half of the season, I think things will continue to be tough for them in the remaining time. Potter is also having difficulties in choosing the right game plan for the team. Tuchel's presence now would have been better for the team but there is nothing to do about it from now on.
I think the same as you, but what do I expect from Chelsea until now there haven't even been any transfer rumours. I haven't heard anything about a transfer they will make in the next transfer window. BTW, talking about EPL, which team do you think will be the champion at the end of the season? ATM we have Arsenal in first, Manchester City in second and Newcastle in third place. Arsenal have impressed and surprised everyone so far. I assume not so many people were expecting this much consistency from them before the season started. Arteta has made this team have a really solid team performance finally. Even in times they didn't have Gabriel Jesus scoring, they were still able to win matches by not having big issues with goals. This impressive effort makes me wonder if they can make it to the title as well. Manchester City are still a huge threat despite the current gap. Manchester City had much worse times in a season in the past but made an incredible comeback. This isn't that much difficult for them. If Arsenal don't stay awake all the time then Manchester City wouldn't forgive those mistakes for sure.

Juventus could even be okay to a swap deal between Joao Felix and Dusan Vlahovic now. There is such thing according to Calciomercato. https://www.calciomercatoweb.it/2022/12/08/calciomercato-juventus-vlahovic-scambio-atletico-madrid-joao-felix/But I don't think this would be a sensible move for Juventus. Because Vlahovic is already impressive with his performance. He couldn't play for some time due to an injury maybe but he would continue from where he left by the upcoming matches of the team. His score contribution is at a very acceptable level. In this situation I don't see any reason for them to prefer Felix to him. Felix is a talented youngster for sure. But this would just be no different than taking a risk for no reason. Maybe Felix won't adapt and will play worse than Vlahovic. I have heard about Felix's possibility to leave Atletico Madrid. He was brought there with big hopes and Atletico Madrid sacrificed an amount around 127 million euros for him. But somehow things didn't go in the way Atletico Madrid wanted. His market value dropped very sharply. There is no way they are being in profit from his sale from now on. Maybe Simeone couldn't use him properly I don't know. Maybe Atletico Madrid need a manager who loves to play a more offensive game which would help Felix shine bright again. If Felix waits for the end of the season this might really get real. Because Atletico Madrid are really bad this season and maybe they might change their manager finally.

bayern munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer suffered a lower leg fracture and underwent surgery on friday. the accident happened during his winter vacation while skiing. bayern munich will now have to do without MN for the rest of the season - Sven Ulreich will now be in goal for all competitive fixtures ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FFjnOSO7agAE8opw%3Fformat%3Djpg%26name%3Dsmall&t=663&c=gtnUjwOHLfC8fQ) It is really sad to hear about this bad news for Bayern Munich. They needed Neuer in the second half of the season the most in fact. Because the Champions League is getting more serious from now on. Bayern Munich have already had a very tough matchup against one of the biggest contenders of the title which is PSG. I don't think Ulreich can perform near Neuer's level. After this incident I have started to think about if Bayern Munich would think of signing a more reliable striker in January. There would be some good options like players whose contracts are ending in 6 months. I think they will think about that.

I'm really sad to see that England are out of the World Cup already now. I really believed in them to make it to the finale and I even bet on their championship at the end. It's still not coming home I'm afraid. They have a great squad full of talented players but they just can't make it. Kane's second penalty was really crucial for reviving their hopes. But it was such a bad shot going wide over the crossbar. Mbappe even laughed at it after the penalty.
It was a deserved win for France of course. They made a good effort. They didn't depend completely on Mbappe and this helped them stay solid as a team.

@jakelyson By the way, I would have really liked to talk about G2 positively but we all see how bad they are still. They decided to start some changes in the team by replacing Aleksib and JACKZ. I don't have any problem with JACKZ's being replaced though. But I didn't understand why they replaced Aleksib. He was already an impressive player and his IGL wasn't bad either.
Now we are watching Aleksib doing a really good work at NIP. It's like there is no way NIP would like to part ways with him anytime soon. I don't think HooXi is a better IGL than Aleksib now. They should have replaced only JACKZ and moved on.

There is some good news for PSG. Neymar is already coming back to the team after the elimination of Brazil. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Messi and Mbappe are still going on in the tournament but they are much less injury-prone than Neymar obviously. Neymar was really demoralized after being eliminated by Croatia but there is still a very long time ahead for PSG's next matches. He can use this time to gather himself up and focus on his game at PSG again. PSG need these three important players not only healthy but also mentally strong. The Ligue 1 is pretty easy for them maybe but the Champions League doesn't forgive any weakness.

Astralis are trying to keep their morale up for their 2023 tournaments. The device addition to the team is really valuable of course. He is like a legend for this team. He is still not that old actually. I believe 27 is not a bad age for CS: GO. Of course the reflexes can be affected in a negative way while aging. But this isn't valid for all players actually. You know fnatic has a player named roeJ in their roster. He is 29 now. But his performance has been really impressive so far.
I think the same thing will happen for device as well. He can really make a big contribution to Astralis' waking up from a nightmare. They have good players in their roster and they don't deserve to drop down in rankings this much.

Arsenal might be interested in Vlahovic according to rumours. They are talking about a "revive" in their interest. I haven't heard of Arsenal's interest in him before. There was some news relating Manchester United to him but not Arsenal. These rumours are saying that Arsenal can look for Vlahovic if he is available. Because Jesus is still having a long running injury. However this doesn't seem realistic to me in January. He is one of the critical players for Juventus now.
However we all must have heard about the recent news about Juventus. They are having tough days after a big shock. If things get much worse than this they might even face the threat of being relegated. In that case Vlahovic wouldn't like to stay of course. This would be a big opportunity for all the interested teams.

Portugal's being eliminated was also very surprising indeed. Ronaldo was hoping to win his last World Cup with Portugal but they said goodbye to the tournament very early. Morocco defense really locked the match for them and Portugal were just desperately trying to score the goal somehow. The way they were trying was already a sign of a defeat in the last minutes. Especially Felix's shot was really amazing but the goalkeeper also made a great save there. First Livakovic and this time Bono. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) These surprising eliminations have been good for me as I want to see England as the champions. Many big rivals are out already now. However I hope England can beat France today. Their job isn't easy against one of the favourites for the championship.

I was really impressed by Croatia's incredible work there. They did the thing they needed to do. They just played a defensive game from the start to the end of the match. As it was working like clockwork they maintained this game plan until the end of the match. The defense stayed strong most of the time. Brazil still found some spaces from time to time and had critical chances to score but Livakovic had an amazing day today. Brazil still scored later on of course but Croatia just clinged to the match by an answer. Penalty stage was the last thing Brazil could have wanted. They were really bad at it and it cost them the World Cup. Livakovic was nearly saving even two penalties. I don't know what he could have done more. He was already great. This is good for me as I've bet on England to win the World Cup. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Now one of the biggest contenders is gone.

Here are the odds for Blast Premier World Finals : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FUKPz40N.png&t=663&c=YGIvmMjmqrlDDQ) After seeing Vitality's odd, their rise by the Spinx transfer and their fall later on have come to my mind. The Spinx addition made the team more effective first. Because he was already a great fragger and he was definitely the right transfer for the team. They continued to keep up a good performance for some time. I even thought about whether they would dethrone FaZe and Natus Vincere. But somehow things started to go sideways. There has been a big level of decrease in their performance recently. Their last Major experience was horrible as they were out in the Legends Stage already. I wonder if there is some mental problem affecting all of the players. Blast tournament is an opportunity for them to improve but I still can't trust them much.
