I also kept thinking the comments here sound an awful lot like the comments Litecoin topics get.
Difference being Litecoin is a CURRENCY and Ethereum is a gimmicky sketchy "APP's" platform.
One was a scammy ICO where the dev dumped a million on you all.
There was no fucking mining on launch guys in 2014.
And someone was buying them up in 100 BTC chunks as seen on the block chain.

The great hype + pump in early 2016 was scammy and suspicious too.
No one came forward to claim it.. but guess who had millions to do it ? Butters.

And probably Coidnesk who had backed it since before it launched with waaaaaay too many stories on it (back in 2014)

ETH proves the users in crypto are sleazy pieces of shit willing to look the other way to support a shitcoin.. as long as it gets them ROI's.

And it died off in popularity because the profits and pump died off.
People do not come here to support projects.. they come here to profit off anything not bolted down.

- It has a creative NEW gimmick / feature. (depending on your perspective)

- It was coded in the Pascal programming language (verified ? is it 100% Pascal ?)

..that is like coding a god damn coin in ASM hahahhaa  
I also do not think that is a good thing off hand (most people out there probably do not know the language)
I sure as hell don't ..sound like a masochistic idea ROFL

Summary:
I can cot condone nor condemn it based on what i have seen so far.
But i want to point out things need to be verified thoroughly.
And i am not so sure about the security of the new system either.. how secure & stable will it be ?

I also want to point out we are seeing news lately about a massive pump or possible boost in popularity with the coin.
The price of it has risen up dramatically over night.

Anyway i am not sure what the real usefulness is of this Pascal project.
By the sounds of it i don't see why we all need or want it.
But i do respect the creativity effort.. and at least best i can tell it's not another god damn fucking ICO shitcoin.

Over the years i have tried ear plugs too if you have a noisy room-mate etc.
If like me you sleep on your side though some of them can be a bit uncomfortable.
I also have a bit of a hearing issue where sound is louder in one ear than the other.
That can help when trying to sleep.. if you are a side sleeper (i can't sleep on my back or stomach at all)

I also think there has to be some noise cancelling going on too with white noise applications.

Take for example out of phase speakers..
If you hook up the stereo left channel one way and the other the opposite (+/-) then a lot of the bass will get cancelled out and distortion gets introduced.
And note i did not say "right" way.. there isn't one, they are just suppose to be "in phase".
Both should be wired the same way but this is not always the case.
Sometimes they can get screwed up.

If you put a few volts on a speaker super quick you can see which way the polarity is on it.
That should push the speaker out briefly (making a squawking noise).
Switch the wire polarity around and it will suck inwards instead..
BUT !

Did you all know that it doesn't matter which way ?
Your speakers will work the same regardless if they suck in or push out.. makes no difference !
The important part is both suck in or both suck out.. or they are out of phase, which is bad.

Want to test a home speaker ? Some say use a 9 volt battery but i did not have one so I used a 6 volt DC adapter plugged into the wall from a home phone and that worked well. Some people online say 12 volts is ok but i would not go that high.
And just tap the voltage on the speaker contacts super quick.. you only want to tap the speaker for a half a second just long enough to see which way the cone is going.
When i did it that way a few months back i tested on full size speakers with a 10 woofer plus mid range and a small tweeter.

Well i guess if they added a coin (any coin) whom ever can show up and buy lots of them.
I am not seeing any signs Poloniex itself was behind this Pascal stuff.
UNLESS they bought them themselves (they are the whale)

More than likely it is a whale or group etc and we won't ever have proof of who is behind it.

Ethereum was a similar situation guys ..as i told you 1,000 times.
As soon as they launched their IPO a mysterious figure was buying up shitloads of coins in 100 BTC chunks.
We know this because i started a scam topic on it in 2014 and on page 1 users reported this from the block explorer.
Back then it was suspicious how much advertising Coindesk was doing on it too and we all knew they had money.. they admitted to it with ASIC mining 6 figures of Doge coin then saying they dumped some etc.
That back in 2014 seemed to scare people away from ETH for a long loooong time.

Until it got hyped & pumped in 2016.. then the world got amnesia and forgot all about it's sketchy launch antics.

Then surprise surprise "Butters" admits to dumping a quarter of his "holdings" for a million dollars.
So by his own words he had 4 million dollars worth... somehow.  

But apparently that sounds legit to you all
