2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Smells Like Hypocrisy on: January 22, 2023, 03:33:49 PM
Quote
Gambling in Japan is not black and white. In fact, gambling is considered a criminal offence and is generally banned across the country.

Those that are found gambling can face large fines and even serve jail time.

However, there are exceptions to this rule. Betting on horse racing and the lottery are two forms of gambling that are accepted in Japan.

To me, this seems hypocritical. You claim that gambling is illegal, but you may bet on horse racing, Pachinko, bicycle racing, boat racing, and Mahjong, which baffles me. I do not seem to understand. Why is that so? You claim it is unlawful, yet wagering on games that are overseen by the government is not unlawful. Is this not hypocritical? What does the government fear?

https://gamblingnewsmagazine.com/gambling-in-japan/

It's kind of intriguing that they allowed an exception but Japan is a unique country with its unique interest, laws, and culture, horse racing, and bicycle racing can be considered skill based, but for all the other events where it is legal, I cannot consider it skill-based.
Every country has a law that governs what is legal and illegal, there are countries where owning a gun is illegal and other countries where it is legal, we just have to respect it, just like the saying when in Rome do as the Romans do, we have to abide to their rules when we are in their country.

If you're the owner of this casino it's a bad move to introduce it by yourself as you have bad feedback coming from the community
Quote
Not to be trusted, working for Pnxbet - connection with Kawbet and super-shady 1xbet/1xbit

If you have nothing to do with the casino and just want to introduce it here in the community, then clarify that you are not part of the team of owners, so the community will not think that this is affiliated with the scam casino you represent here based on your profile feedback.

Interesting, but I'm not sure I really understand, how do we proof it's a person and not still the company itself or a bot or someone else, and why does this matter? Sorry in advance for stupid question but I read it through and still don't get how this is proof of person and why important.

Also, how is all games settled? Which mechanism, is that also on chain verifiable? You say it asks all members of the network for the result, why? What if same members also make bets?

You can find all the information you need here https://www.idena.io/ I used to be so active here three years ago I still have my wallet I just forgot my age or level here, this token has huge potential they just need continuous marketing and continuous updates to feed their community, I think this platform could help the project to get more attention.
They have a claim to be the first Human-centric Blockchain, and they still have the potential to realize their goal to be the top coin in the industry.
2484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Doxxed team can help a new gambling platform? on: January 22, 2023, 11:36:51 AM

Anyway fast forward to my second question, will a gambling platform be more attractive for users if the team are 100% doxxed?

It will be attractive but it will put the reputation of the casino at-risk people can easily tell if the owner is capable of maintaining a casino that can pay out millions if you find out that an average person is one of the owners they will suspect that the owners can keep up, it's always been this way and casinos can continue to operate with only the license and their reputation to back them up, of course, we want to see who are the owners of the casinos we are playing but their interest comes first before ours.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Basra Stadium Stampede (football match). on: January 21, 2023, 11:32:11 PM
I also think that this is more on the organizer's fault.  Their lapse on security resulted in these stampede.  they are blaming the ticketless when they have the authority to stop them and even put them in arrest.  With a strong security line up, I doubt this ticketless will do things they did that causes the stampede.  So I think organizers should always take priority of their client's lives, planning ahead and patching holes that can cause tragedy like this.  So for me it is the organizers poor crowd management and inadequate safety measures.

This is a big event for Iraqi football organizations because it's been over 20 years since they hold a competitive international game
and yet they did not take the necessary precautionary measures to insure that it did not happen but unfortunately it happened, the organizers get all the blame here because they did not have proper crowd control, they should have learned from past stampedes like what happened in Indonesia, it takes out the glory and beauty of the game because of this worse scenario.
2486  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 21, 2023, 10:30:11 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?

We have the same attitude and opinion towards desktops and phones, phone applications are great for travel and some basic needs but when it comes to playing in a casino I want a clear view and stability, something that a phone cannot give me I can easily concentrate on my game and besides by playing on desktop only you can moderate and regulate your playing that will help you not to become addicted to gambling, limiting your accessibility can help you become a responsible gambler.
2487  Economy / Gambling / Re: wild.io 🔥 the ultimate #casino experience 🔥 on: January 21, 2023, 09:32:17 PM
Many gambling operators know where to announce their casino but do not know how to properly announce it or do not know how to be competitive, this is another casino that will soon be ignored by not doing things correctly, obviously, they did not do research on how to promote their casino effectively here in Bitcointalk if they did that they would have done the right and these are getting a copper account and be active in the first three to five hours after their casino here because members are always looking for a new casino announcement to drop their feedback and suggestions.
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why you should choose Macau casino Lisboa gaming platform!!! on: January 21, 2023, 02:44:31 PM
When you opened an announcement for your casino and you are overwhelmed with questions, suggestions, and feedback and you prefer not to answer even though you log in, this will make the casino look back and not worth looking at, OP should keep up and be active here even if the feedbacks are not positive, the feedbacks are meant to correct those bugs, issues so you can run a good campaign here.
2489  Economy / Reputation / Re: campaign manager post counts behaviors; is this accepted? on: January 21, 2023, 01:33:13 PM

I am curious to know why only 1 or 2 managers do rejected post and remove participants without any note or comments on their spreadsheet.
What do we called this
Being rude or not being friendly?

When it doubt ask, or forever hold your grudge, the managers already laid out the rules when they start the campaign, your duty as a part of the campaign is to check that you are within that rules if you think that you have followed the rules and you are taken out of the campaign then you have the right to know and the bounty manager will give it to you if you ask him, by not naming the manager you put some of the managers questioning their reputation so to relieve the other managers better name the manager if you have the guts to do it.
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 21, 2023, 10:40:12 AM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?

So you mean they have a copyright on that game and you can only play that game on that casino, it's possible if they create a token exclusive for that game alone, but a new game and one-of-a-kind game that will make gamblers addicted are two different things, not because its new people will become addictive to it right away.
Creating a new game that will make gamblers addicted to it is very hard to do, and that will make the casino on top of the market if they have a token attached to it then yes the token will have value, but the biggest question is can your friend come out with that kind of game.
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 20, 2023, 10:05:39 PM

If you are familiar with the PvP gambling topic, which of the following would you pick if you had $10–$100 and felt like gambling?

1. Casino A:
Normal casino where players play Slot games, BlackJack, Rollet, baccarat, Crazy, and the rest of casino games with the chance of winning large chunk of money.

2. Casino B:
PvP casino where players compete against each others in games such as Poker, Rummy, Ludo, 8Pool, Monopoly, Race Cars, Flipcoin, etc..., with the prize being your opponents buy-in amounts.

You should have set up a poll for this to see the numbers on who's in favor of A or B or both I prefer A because we are playing in the casino not only to be entertained but also to win a big amount of money but by picking your B you'll only get your opponent's buy-in amounts, so you're earning is limited and it's a good feeling if you can beat the house, not just one player, it will get you motivated to play more.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 02:26:04 PM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

I notice that it's a good strategy for casinos to give bonuses to their inactive players, which is why casino with built-in newsletter has an edge over those who do not have one, they can update inactive players, players who seldom play, and players who are active, there are players who pause from playing for a period of time and giving them update or bonus will make their comeback to play, some players forget that they have an account on certain casinos and sending them reminders will invite to check out the casino and see what are the changes after not logging in for a period of time.

@LTU_btc congratulations on a new milestone with 10,000 posts this is not easy maybe as many say but with a long and continuous journey you have reached this point an that will continue for new milestones.

Actually on the thread about the new milestone of posting to save unique post images, but sadly this thread is no longer active since 2021

Re: [WALL OF FAME] ᗌ Save your Postcount - Milestones ᗏ (UPDATED: 9. November 2021)

Congratulation to you @LTU_btc  this is indeed a big achievement for you and for those who made that number of posts, I am not aware of a thread about

, I myself already have as of this posting 11582 like @LTU_btc I am tempted to delete some of my posts in my early days, but its part of our growing experience here in Bitcointalk I also don't recommend doing that, I'm sure you can reach your 20000 posts because you are a good poster and you don't even know you already reached it.
2494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 20, 2023, 09:03:03 AM
Inoue did the right thing going up and immediately challenging the toughest guy in that division this is a mark of a guy who loves challenges and legacy because he knows he can beat just anybody, Inoue has the making of a great fighter in the tradition of Manny Pacquiao, he can conquer the 126 level because he can carry his power and speed on that level, he just needs to add muscles, he can easily do that because it's still within the range of his body frame, I expect him to be the favorite to win the fight because right now no one comes close to Inoue.
2495  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nebeus: the easiest way to send money to a Crypto Casino!! on: January 19, 2023, 11:47:40 PM

Almost most of the reviews on that trustpilot in Nebeus are not good experiences and some were just 2 hours ago, 2 days ago, 6 days ago, and so on.

Source: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.nebeus.com

I was going to give a good review and post that I might recommend this platform to some friends who are in need of this service but after looking at their reviews I have to dig deep because if a platform has 25 1 rating against 66 good ratings then the platform has an issue on serving their client and not good in recommending it, there will be people who will look for a third party to trade their money and send to casinos, but this one is not good to recommend.
2496  Economy / Gambling / Re: bc.game dice is better than stake.com dice on: January 19, 2023, 10:28:14 PM

i am not a shill for bc.game my other account is 'riocasino

just here to spit truth based on my research. Based of countless of hours playing on both casinos.

There's no problem with it if you have good experience using bc.game and you're not with Stake.com others will agree with you while others will not, things like this happen where you have a lucky casino to play but your experience will not become the experience of others play and others may have the opposite, others could blame you if you lead them to bc.game from other not really Stake.com but ended up losing more than the casino where they came from, better put a disclaimer that your result could be different from the other gamblers.
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 19, 2023, 04:28:44 PM
Its good that you are looking for advice as a new gambler I hope not only you but all the other casino here can benefit from this thread the community have seen a lot of new gamblers making the wrong move of choosing the wrong casino and not following the casino rules, check if the casino has an unresolved complaint and how they addressed the accusation if they ignore then that's a warning sign, if they defend their action and they are fair then its the player's fault, reputation and good support from the casino is very important they should invest on it, everything is secondary and based on user's experience.
2498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10 Biggest U.S Lottery Jackpots Ever...(Until Now) on: January 19, 2023, 03:27:38 PM
The odds in lotteries are very small that's why it has a very high jackpot amount, I doubt if it's possible to win a such jackpot in any online gambling site/ sports betting. Only a few people are lucky enough to hit a jackpot in lotteries and there are over thousands or even millions betting in lotteries.

You cannot compare online lotteries to offline lotteries the numbers are incomparable on offline lotteries there are only a few lotteries in one country or state or town, but in online casinos, there are numbers of online lotteries and they are competing with each other and people trust the physical lotteries than online lotteries because they are more regulated and you can easily get your winning because you can go to their office to claim as we do here in our country, compare to online casinos where they can ignore you and sometimes blames you for cheating.
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real is the winnings? on: January 18, 2023, 11:04:23 PM

It is without a shock these days that when one downloads apps to explore, like game apps; features or tasks that can earn one some coins or diamonds, or candy come with real earning prospect. If one could successful convert such earns from these games or other apps, these monies could be used to get gift cards or could be withdrawn in some instances.

Is it okay for one to just go ahead and tryout any or all of these apps with their crypto coins or cash not minding scammers or hackers or exposing oneself to information theft?
For most cases where the earnings cannot be converted, but purchases could be made with bank cards, to fund them, what is best adviced?
How real are some of these winnings/earnings, incase anyone has had luck cashing their gaming/other apps wins to real cash/gift item?

I stop doing these things they will entice you to upgrade so you can earn more and many of them are offering plans that are very similar to the Ponzi scheme the free coins are just to make you sign up and make you believe that you can make free money from their games, but there's always hidden agenda, if you will rely on their free coins it will take you a lot of time and you need a big number of referrals to reach your payout and make your time worthwhile on this platform, it maybe different from what you are discussing but all the apps on Google paly that has this scheme are all the same in one feature or the other.
2500  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scam with pictures proofment! on: January 18, 2023, 09:32:56 PM
This is another case of should have been. if OP just takes time and checked the internet for accusations he can save his money from going down the drain, its another charity for 1XBIT, and the accusation is mounting and the group of people that 1xbit scammed is growing, it will not end anytime soon unless the authorities put a stop on their operation, if they are just hosted on a responsible hosting site or domain registrar like Namecheap, the platform will be disabled a long time.
