What happened here? Last I remember people were scrounging for 1PEX. Now I look at Yobit and see hundreds of them being sold off. Guess I should read up on what was changed with the new wallet...
Go to page 1 of this thread to see what has changed. A lot has changed

what is the total sup coin ? and the price well be at 50k or well down to 1 satochi and where is the dev ?? you shoud add pex in poloniex and bitrex Holy shit people around here are the most impatient people I think I have ever heard!!!!! The dev was on yesterday. Go back and do some reading before commenting. And do you have any clue what it takes to get it on those exchanges? No you don't So either do some research before you comment or save your slagging to yourself +1000 People make comments that end up chasing Developers away

Does anyone know, why I can't withdraw my Driodz of Yobit exchange?
Has soopy contacted the exchanges?

it also made a few people (not me) wealthy.
Yes it did and you nailed the issue on its head with your observation. I wont say anything anymore on the hipos issue. Just observe and in the end compare the outcome to what I predict so that investors can learn for next time. A low price is a good buying opportunity for new investors. Every BIG COIN had its low period. Nothing is perfect

|

Stip giving **** advice. Discount the increase in money supply and where the numbers become relatively stable is the price of the coin for a typical coin with that money supply. If you pay more than that you will become a holder of many expensive coins. Hoarding of a coin with hipos is just window dressing.
We are not hoarding, we are STAKING. HIPOS just gave us more exposure and trade volume, it also made a few people (not me) wealthy. Those people that sold at a profit might use their profits to pump the coin later.

It is just the "economic cycle". Wise investors are scooping it up.

price down from 200k to 39k it well be 1 satochi in next day No, NOT YET. Dumpers are losing coins to new investors. New investors and WHALES still need an opportunity to enter the market. This is a good opportunity - let them dump

"0 active connections to Bigup network"
Is there an update for the mac qt?
I don't know why you have 0 connection while I'm getting 17 to 21 connections here running on El Capitan. Yeah I am floating on 16 pretty consistently My BIGUP wallet currently stakes with 42 active connections to Bigup Network.

only pow is keeping this coin from 1 sat.
with every hipos stake, the spiral down gets faster. even with pow, in one day the coin amount raised 50%. what do you think will happen tomorrow? what do you think will happen to the price?
yesterday 100 pex were worth .2btc today 100 pex are worth .06 btc. tomorrow? maybe .01 btc.
and we are taking about 100 pex, generated in about 2 or 3 minutes.
edit: pah 2 or 3 minutes... dd0527ac4374a6cc... 45973 2016-04-05 12:04:51 + 764.69757 PEX
If 100 PEX is worth 0.06 BTC, then this is a good bargain. If I had money, I would snatch all the bargains and stake them.

Who will be the first to put their BIGUP on the market on CCEX..and the winner is?
The winner is always somebody else

Nah...the price didn't fall. It was propelled with so much force, that, the ground beneath it has been completely obliterated. And now, without ground, will fall forever!
Price didn't fall Dump 50 PEX today, Next week it could be over 500 PEX in the hand of a new investor. Lets say someone hits a stake of 100,000,000,000 pex. For agument sake. Will it be worth more or the same than lets say 50 pex if there is a 50 pex buy order? We are only having this discussion due to the hipos. HIPOS will never be this high. We are already over block 45,800. However, if I hit a stake of 100 PEX, it could be worth more than 50 PEX, if there is a 50 PEX buy order. We have till block 60,000 after which the major phase of HIPOS will be over. Even though coins are dumped, HIPOS has helped to ENHANCE TRADE, and to increase the spread and awareness of PEX.

Why is everyone tripping over themselves trying to dump their coins already? HiPoS hasn't even been going for 24 hours yet lol. Calm down dumpers! In the meantime, there are some cheap coins to scoop up out there In part 1 I told you guys how to prepare for a staking coin. This is part 2 and I can now post this because of the phase the coin is in now and is past the point of sensitivity. When a dev codes hipos into a coin he signs the coin's death warrant, because of the economic principles of supply vs demand that dictate the path ahead. Hipos sounds sexy but if you look at the numbers, the inflation is so high that supply quickly outstrips demand. 99% of holders have the same objective which is short term profit and this objectives weighs heavily on the supply side and very light on the demand side. For a while people hoard coins to get hipos but soon realize that as their balance grows the price goes down because others are executing their strategy. The moneysupply grows really fast and there is a generally accepted ratio of price vs money supply (with certain attributes being equal) that can only be upset with some sort of very special attribute - a good example is eth where the normal ratio of price vs money supply does not apply due to the block chain services creating demand. With hipos the moneysupply grows so quickly creating a hi-supply that causes the price to tank very quickly accordingly, especially since 99% wants to execute their short term profit strategy and mostly at the same time. It is therefore imperative that when you participate in a hipos coin that you firstly prepare your input blocks as I explained in part 1. You then need to hoard as much as possible coins before the deadline which is max age. When time to hipos < max age you must not tamper with your input blocks so as to not disturb your coin age. At this point if you do get more coins create a second input block. As hipos approaches, watch the blocks and activate POS 1 block after hipos starting block. When you get a stake, assess the market and take a portion of your stake to the market and combine the rest into one input block. You might do one or max two more stakes before you get out completely to prevent a situation where you hoarded too many coins but no demand remains in the market which = big losses. You can always get back in later at a fraction of the price discounting the projected short term moneysupply and finding the matching acceptable price at that moneysupply. The next important principle is the active coins. Roughly 10% of moneysupply is in play and the rest is irrelevant and is dead and stored in wallets somewhere, unless of course distribution is very wide. In this case I am referring to when the population is the usual suspects in cryptoland. You need to work on obtaining a percentage of that active 10%. There is a point where it does not matter if you have 10,000 coins or 100,000,000,000 coins because there is only a market for that small percentage. Although you can keep on hoarding coins, it is not optimal to invest more than 10% of the moneysupply. If you are quick, you can make your own balance the active coins. There is an exception where hoarding coins is acceptable and makes sense and that is where profit is not the objective but as an anti-dumping measure for a special coin that you deem has a long term potential and you want to assist the coin. To summarise I think it is a pity that the hipos was coded into this coin and it was disappointing to me, although it is the dev's prerogative. It immediately forces a certain behavior which is actually not ideal and which is contrary to what is required for long term survival of a coin. The outcome is always the same as one can see with other hipos coins like 10k and cionz. The outcome is always the same. Always. Actually. there are 2 exceptions. If an attribute can be found that upsets the general price vs money supply ratio of the coin and the attribute creates demand (wink-wink to the dev if he wants to make this coin successful and counter the normal statistics). The other exception I wont go into now. Finding the optimal decision points and strategy can be very entertaining. In this case Yobit being down provided a curve ball, but the quick addition of C-CEX was pure blue sky. The best for a coin is to have a steady money supply. HIPOS will not kill this coin, because the coins that are being dumped are actually being bought by a new set of investors that see potential in the next HIPOS and POS phases. PEX is a profitable buy right now.
Also, it is not reasonable to have a coin, where total coinage is less than 50,000 - even 1 million is still too small, perhaps a few million is ideal, especially at block 200,001 I guess people have dumped so fast even without witnessing high POS With every dump new users are getting in and staking I am sure with many a developments in this coin would get stronger as we move ahead i guess they dumped, while the price is high, because it needs only a few hours to have the same amount of coins again, thx to hipos. Dumpers are merely transferring their wealth to somebody else who will reap better stake rewards.
