is pinkcoin gonna die? not much activity in this thread and not much volume on bittrex.

Ha! no. Though we do have an official relaunch coming very soon! What's important right now is community involvement. If you like PinkCoin and want to take part in our success and our community, then please, contribute any way you can! Post fun stuff, the pinker the better! Put a PinkCoin address in your sig, start following CryptoCayce on twitter and take part in his contests, tweet and post about us to your hearts content.

Above all, the most useful and helpful thing you can do is help us fund our contests, fundraisers, and development by donating to our donation address at:
PB9TmJXZTqzLroz9cLzCQe2cNWzEwJeq5g

Please remember, we're fully community supported. Bigman's gone, and we're members of the community just like you that enjoy eachother's company and believe we can do something really special with this coin.

And, of course, everyone loves a pretty picture from time to time. Please feel free to help us out with those as well and keep everyone smiling and checking back;D

OH NO! What happened to Bigman?

FYI, as I've learned https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=619425.0;all it's not enough to just have fun and enjoy each other's company, you must post something relevant and of some quality, otherwise you risk your posts being deleted. (Even if you are asked, it is considered spam.)

Please note my signature has my PinkCoin address now and I welcome any coins you want to send my way.

... and here's a pretty girl, just 'cuz  Kiss

I'm not saying my posts were of high quality, even though I did try to make them somewhat relevant and interesting. (ie. I never posted a plain old +1)

What I AM saying is that my posts were not as "spammy" as MANY other people's are. Including mprep, who posts, "bumps".

But you know what? Hey, I'm going to just drop the matter, learn from it and move on.

Have a nice day.

Wtf are you talking about?
And yes it is quality post. Read op.

He's butthurt about mprep deleting his posts so now he must be going through his. See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=619425.0

Indeed. I'm trying to make sense of this. It seems to me, I had posts deleted for doing the same thing. (ei.FootballCoin)

I deleted your posts. I was browsing through several threads and noticed a spam response from you thus I went through your post history. Here are the reasons:

+1

-snipped image-

I have seen hundreds of people post "+1". At least I made an extra effort to post a nice pic that is relevant to the thread! Many people have said they like the pics too. They even sometimes have asked for them!
Plain +1's are deleted as well. Report them if you see them. Regarding the pic, again, low quality post/no info/clutter, only vaguely relates through the name to the coin.

Also, please stop posting them all. It's causing clutter. Report posts of similiar content although some mods handle some of the reports differently.

So +1 posts are validly reportable, or is this a possible depends on the mod that handles it situation? I see quite a lot of +1s around and I guess they add little to nothing to the discussion really.

+1 = I agree, yes, here here, hell yeah, etc.
What's wrong with offering support to what someone else posted by simply agreeing with them? Do you have to give a reason as well to qualify your post?

Oh I see. Is there any effort that is favorable to donate to at the moment?

It looks like Earthwatch (http://pnd4pnd.com/pages/earthwatch/) and ISIS (http://pnd4pnd.com/pages/isis/) could use a little more attention.

On that note, for every unique picture of a panda posted in this thread over the next 24hrs I'll donate 10k to one of the pnd4pnd.com funds. If you want a specific fund to receive the donation, just say so.

This IS a panda!  Grin

Here's another one that was deleted. I can post them all if you want, but as a newbie I have a timeout between posts.
Replying to an encoragement to spam. Images of pandas isn't considered as a good post.

Same as the previous one + overall offtopic.

Also, please stop posting them all. It's causing clutter.

Thank you mprep, for giving your REAL reasons for deleting my posts. I'm new and don't have much info to give. I like seeing pics and other people do to. How do you quantify the quality of a post? I bet you have some "low quality posts" too, but I'm the one being picked on. I guess it's your forum, your rules.

It's awfully convenient for you to say to stop posting the posts that were deleted by you and cluttering my own thread! I guess you don't want anyone else to qualify them.

That one's technically a giveaway, too, though I'd assume that was a mistake.

If giveaways aren't acceptable, why pick on me, instead of closing the thread?

You have a 36 post count and all but 7 of them have been deleted?

Man, your posts must have all sucked really bad to have that happen.

Hey Kluge, how the heck did you get 1,000 posts more than me.  I am going to have to step up my game.

No, I had nearly 50 posts and was brought down to near 30.

How/why are you gonna "step up your game?" I guess your status protects your posts.

It could also be self-moderated topic so the OP deleted your message not moderator.

I got 18 messages today. Posts were deleted from several different threads. It was one admin picking on me.

Was it in a giveaway thread?

Yes
Giveaway threads have been banned for months.

Why am I the one being punished? Why go through the trouble of individually deleting my posts instead of just closing these threads?

Second, I'm a newbie and don't have many posts. As a newbie, you are seriously limited. I'm trying to be active and increase my status.

You only need to post once a day to increase your activity count.

I enjoy participating. Is that wrong?
2492  Other / Meta / Re: Some admin decided to delete my posts. WHY? on: May 21, 2014, 04:32:36 PM
Was it in a giveaway thread?

Yes

Why would you even care that that particular post was deleted?

Are you kidding?
First, I wanted to let the OP know I added it to my sig.

This is bullshit. I haven't done anything that I haven't seen other people doing. I wasn't even given a good reason. All I got was some bullshit generic response. If this is how you treat newbie accounts I guess I will have to give up on cryptocoins.  Angry

You can also try a "game coin" (aka - human mining) If your computer is old it might not be able to handle it though.

Hi all, im pretty new to the btc community and looking to make some btc any suggestions ? Im still in college so dont have cash availible to actually buy btc and of course no qualifications yet, however got commitement and will have time on my hands soon (school break). So basically what im asking is where can i make some decent btc ?

P.S my rig definitely cant mine like I said im a student so rigs pretty dated

Mining rigs for the purpose of mining BTC are far too expensive and technically involved for most people.  Roll Eyes

For people like us POS is a good place to start. Go to the Alternate cryptocurrencies> Announcements (Altcoins) section (link below) and find a coin that is GIVING AWAY FREE COINS!

 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0

After you've downloaded/installed the wallet, paste your address in your signature and leave them a nice comment in their thread.

Newbie status only allows room in your sig for one address so choose carefully.

Good luck!
