2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OFFICIAL EURO 2016 Information, Discussion and Tips Thread on: May 05, 2016, 05:38:53 PM
Yes matches at EURO 2016 coming soon, I'm sure you all can not wait for this match including me  Smiley
Although the match will start in a few months but I already have a favorite, I favorited France  for this year's champion
France have great players competing in European leagues so for the quality of players is no doubt

My man! France will won this i am 99% sure Smiley what a team they have, what a players, just wow
agreed,i can't deny that france is one of favorite champion of Euro 2016,because some a good players have been listed there,in defender they have Rafael Varane, then midfieldr have Pogba, then in striker they have Matrial and Griezman, the only way to beat france is experience, because france have so many young player, they not consistent i think.

2483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for bandwidth limited users on: May 05, 2016, 05:02:21 PM
I recently had a discussion with new bitcoin user and he asked how to get started with bitcoin. I directed him to Bitcoin Core download page and explained about disk usage and bandwidth requirements. Disk requirements could be lowered with pruning but his monthly bandwidth limit does not allow to download blockchain in reasonable time and using bitcoin client for him does not seem to be an option. I was unhappy to do it but I directed him to some online wallet sites. He might not feel importance of bitcoin private keys and he would treat bitcoin as an digital cash without any difference from website that says 'you have won thousand bucks'. 'And where is cryptography?'

Use of bitcoin client would be easier for him if all data expensive operations are done by third party client (for example my client) and his client would be able to verify found transactions and and them to his wallet. Closest data to private keys that would be transmitted would be public address. Adding watch only address from his would work in same way. It would be less safe than usual full node but safer that online wallet website when you need to guess where your private keys are hanging around and with who. This would need additional both side identification with preshared public keys to prevent host abuse.
simple, teach your mate to use online wallet and dont tell him about bitcoin mining or bitcoin core wallet, its too weight for bandwith.
started with bitcoin should not start with mining or other work related with bitcoin, just tell them about bitcoin concept and faucet.
2484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Vulnerability on: May 05, 2016, 04:58:46 PM
If you have lots of coins in your online bitcoin wallet, will posting that address in public like forums, facebook etc make it more vulnerable to hacking?
1.Should such addresses be kept secret as much as possible to keep them away from hackers eye?
2.If kept secret,is there a way for others to know how many wallet addresses holds big amount if bitcoins?
posting address in public media will not give you more chance to lost your bitcoin, you should know that hacking bitcoin wallet is not easy for hacker, the only way to hack your wallet is by give you phising email and links, and then you donwload some application or login.

2489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, why do we need to use Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2016, 04:18:30 PM
So, why do we need to use Bitcoin???

i have some points that will answer why we must use bitcoin.
- nothing payment like bitcoin that can be created wallet with very simple steps.
- nothing payment that have so little fees
- nothing payment that can used for investement and payment.
i think that was enough for answering why we are should use bitcoin.
2490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Craig Steven Wight say what he will do with his bitcoins? on: May 05, 2016, 04:15:49 PM
Well, he has 1 million coins.

where you know the he has 1 milions coins?i dont think he have it.
on bbc i dont see that,i dont see Craig tell us what will he do with his bitcoin, and i dont care about that,we know that news is not true, bbc have said that they also not believe that Craig is satoshi nakamoto.
2491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shame on CoinDesk - This is why women don't use Bitcoin on: May 05, 2016, 03:59:29 PM
i don't think this is a serious problem, they put only "female shoe" on their photo, and you said coindesk make women dont want use bitcoin becasue his,its too serious. i think Elizabeth Rossiello as SEO of BitPesa put on last list because bitpesa is the smalest company.
2492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MAY 22nd: World Bitcoin Pizza Day - Are you helping mass adoption ? on: May 05, 2016, 03:46:14 PM
1. Give them some bitcoin (and then what?)
i think this step just give better explain than you tell people about bitcoin with so much words and video, just give them bitcoin and tel them how to spent it on purse.io or any other site like openbazaar.

2496  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Would you buy a hardware wallet? on: May 01, 2016, 02:37:31 PM
Hi all,

I am doing some research for a Bitcoin company that is interested with developing a hardware wallet to see if it has a viable market. Trezor has some traction, but perhaps only in the existing Bitcoin community. With things like Multi-sig popping up everywhere, do you think this negates some of the pressing need for Hardware wallets? Interested to hear your thoughts.
Good idea to initiate hard wallet for better security and comfortable used. i think the problem is still about price of that wallet,i'm sure people more like to choose online wallet with free registration, because trezor is still expensive for some people, can you give us free hardware wallet? Cheesy
2497  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you like to be able to buy with BTC online? on: May 01, 2016, 02:32:40 PM
