2481  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is still in a downward trend, will it last long or temporarily? on: December 26, 2021, 10:49:03 PM
$50k is a big barrier to break and for sure everyone is very happy to see the price finally getting into $51k. But I don't know I have a feeling that his could be a bull trap and not a bullish sign. We still have the end of the year push though, if this price maintain this week, maybe $52k or $54k might be the final price for this year. So still very good if we can end the year getting green at least. And then we all look forward to 2022 and hopefully we can still go and reach new ATH.
How we couldn't finish 2021 in green? I don't understand  Huh We started 2021 below $30k then it would need a dip of $20k at least, in 5 days, to close in red. That's just impossible, then it wouldn't be a surprising good news to get a green year candle, it's already expected by the market makers.
Bitcoin is currently priced at $51,196 so its now starting to recover from its quite long price correction. Although the price is not yet above the last ATH, but if we zoom it out, its still considered bullish if we compare it to its previous prices. And if this value even surges this week, then we might predict that there are chances left that we can reach bitcoin's new ATH before its year end.

However, if the current upward movement is just a bull trap, then we can't do nothing about it but to wait for the market to be bullish again. As long as we take advantage with the last price correction and make a good buy and hodl, then we will never be bothered much even if this ends as a bull trap.
2482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satisfied what you gained with altcoins in 2021? on: December 25, 2021, 09:42:29 PM
^^ Correct, it take years to become a good investor in crypto, I started like in 2017 but just got seriously into investing early last year and it was not very easy though. But once you learn the tricks and trips and the ropes, you might find it not that complicated as others have complained. So it takes time, lots of money to be lost, but it the end, if you really learn from your mistakes then you can gain and profited even in a bear market as long as you know what you are doing.
Yes, crypto investing is not learned in just an overnight but it takes a long time processing. And once you're good at it, no matter what the season, you will always bound to make profits most of the time.

However, with regards to profits taking, i think i am more satisfied this year than those previous ones. The market has been positive at the start of the year and from then on, a lot of chances had given me to take profits and now i'm reaping it.
2483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had bought bitcoin 10 years ago, I would have been a millionaire: Not true on: December 25, 2021, 08:10:37 PM
Those who could buy it 10 years ago but can't keep it are the same as buying today but if they can hold on to it they will most likely be a millionaire by now. I think only a few people can hold bitcoins for a very long time and it's people who really don't need to spend money.
10 years is already a very long time of waiting, but certainly worth the wait. Although holding for long term is more common with current investors, but in this very long time frame, a lot of chances to make profits has been very visible in the market. And mostly investors and holders take every opportunities that can certainly offer them huge profits after hodling. This is the reason why only few millionaires arise from 10 year hodling because of lack of patience and perseverance.
2484  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: December 23, 2021, 11:05:49 PM
This sounds funny though but I doubt if bank can just stop existing,  no I don't think so. As far as their is government there will be bank. Bank still play their own roles. I can believe because of the activities cryptocurrency it can reduce the rate of customers who are saving in the future, people may feel interested investing their money in cryptocurrency instead of saving it in the bank.
That wouldn't be applicable to everyone, people are saving money to ensure that their money is safe, and when they save they don't think of investing while if you put your money in bitcoin, you have to bear with the risk of price volatility, so that is not saving at all.
You would really be thinking about this mainly on where you cant really be that confident or could sleep at night when you do store up your money on crypto market.
You wouldnt really be having that peace of mind since you know that volatility could really fucked you up thats why people do still trust up
fiat no matter what specially if they could save it on a bank where they do know that it could be secured.
In most banks, your deposit is covered with insurance up to a maximum amount set by the insurer, that is not possible with bitcoin as you take the risk of volatility, and if ever your wallet gets hacked or compromised, you might also lose your bitcoin in your wallet. I think, we just need to understand and it will only happen if we educate ourselves first about bitcoin so we will understand the risk and not just the reward.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 23, 2021, 10:39:30 PM
Sure, they have like 5 MVP caliber players... But apart from Lebron & AD the rest are way past their prime.

How about Westbrook? He can still an MVP caliber, he is just not performing his best capacity because he is playing along with MVP caliber Players, and I don't think he is the problem here, it should be the coaching staff that should be blamed for not making the LA Lakers with great chemistry, or the style of play maybe not working for them.
2486  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: December 23, 2021, 03:40:03 PM
Inflation is one thing, but I also really enjoy having full control of my own money.

No need to ask permission to anyone to spend it in whatever I want.

It's great to spend your money freely. Money is freedom. Bitcoin is freedom.

If you don't put your money in the bank, you can spend it without asking for permission or signing papers to withdraw your funds. However, we are only talking of cash here and it's not applicable if we love ot travel as we cannot carry a huge amount of cash, unlike with bitcoin that just have to carry the private key to access our bitcoin wallet and everything would work.

The difference between bitcoin and fiat is that bitcoin cannot be frozen, unlike your bank balance where the authorities could freeze if you are suspected to be a criminal or involve in any crime.
2487  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino context on: December 23, 2021, 02:37:10 PM
Please confirm OP if you are talking about contest or context because those two have a different meaning although it fits how you sound your question. If you mean contest, then definitely there's plenty of contest but the context is about Christmas as it's what we are going to Celebrate soon, or the holidays which this month is for.
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino account ban cases on: December 23, 2021, 12:29:44 PM
In recent times several users from this forum have complained about the account being banned on most of the casinos, so am prompt to ask what caused this situation sometimes the fault is from the casino site, and other times it is from the user itself.

The main reason for the ban is violating the TOS.

Read all the TOS before formally signing up so you will understand if you get banned, and of course, you would not want to get ban so you will have to abide with the TOS, others just don't so they get banned.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 23, 2021, 12:15:12 PM
I've heard some interesting thing about Kyrie Irving if it is true of course. Firstly, we know that he is still so stubborn about not being vaccinated. Because of his current attitude, he can't play in any of the games in this season of NBA. However, I've heard that he wanted to play in some of the games but didn't want to play in the rest of the games. And Nets didn't accept a request like this of course and decided to leave him out of the lineup. This is a so funny request by Irving.   Cheesy
I think the first thing we should know is if Irving wants to get vaccinated? If the answer is yes, then probably he can play some games, if not, then there's nothing to expect from him as he will not have a chance to play without getting vaccinated.

Sadly, there were three Omicron cases already. (https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1530218/pinoy-from-qatar-3rd-omicron-case)
But the good news, there were only 168 new cases and it keeps dropping and I think we'll see two-digit new cases and eventually go for one up to zero new cases. Whenever there's a Ginebra match, everyone is expecting the crowd and likely the tickets are going to be sold out, let's see by Christmas day. Money is flowing as usual by that day and the tickets are cheaper.
That's a just a bit of badnews, certainly there's still a lot of things that needs to be appreciated like this is the 1st Christmas season that we're having a minimal restriction since Covid outbreak on 2019. And also, we can watch some live scene plays on our favorite teams in PBA just like what is about to happen this Christmas as Araneta.
Ofcourse, it's the Ginebra San Miguel so it's expected that the tickets are going to be sold in just days after the tickets were released. Yea, prices are quite cheaper this time so we could really expect that it would be crowded in Araneta.
Yes, that's the Christmas gift that every PBA fan wants. And I've seen some of my friends that have already watched a live game, they're not really full but at least, they've opened it to the public.
Well, if I've just got the free time to get there, I'll be watching with anyone who wants to watch but no way, this holiday season is always the busiest time for me.
If you can spend some time, do it mate, working all the time is not good for your health, lol. As for me, I always love to watch the game live but I couldn't, I just had to watch live streaming and put some little bet on the team that I like to win, that way, I'm already happy and quite satisfied.

Had anyone here won their bet last night?
2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: December 22, 2021, 07:40:02 PM
Well, I often invest in new projects and some get a fairly high benefit, for the risk of losing money, obviously it can happen because all investments have a high risk, especially if we enter into a new project, the risk we receive will be very high. we can minimize the risk of losing money when we invest in a new project by doing further research on the project because that is what I often do when I enter into a new project.
It's negative for me, I don't usually invest in new projects or coins for a simple reason to be safe and protect my hard-earned money to not be wasted in risky projects. And even if that certain new projects did turns out promising after you had your research, the real question is, would it survive for atleast 2 years? Or does it have that potential to make my money doubled in just a year? If the answer is no, then it's a hard pass for. IMHO Wink
2492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good man/woman leaves an inheritance on: December 22, 2021, 07:20:06 PM
An old proverb says “A good man/woman leaves an inheritance to his children's children…”. Since the inception of the world, whenever a person dies, their personal assets like money, possessions and property are either shared as stated in a will or in accordance with the law of succession where the deceased leaves no will. In most cases, the beneficiaries include may their spouse(s)/civil partner, child or children and grandchildren. In other cases, their brothers and sisters, parents or parent, nephews and nieces, favorite charity organization and state (where there is no relative) get to be the beneficiaries.

I recon that in the coming years folks are going to will their wallet seed and passphrases to their family members, their favorite charity, and even their kids unborn. As an investor or crypto trader is this a legacy you would want to leave behind?
bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency that I have is a valuable legacy for my children in the future...

all parents must have thought of good things for their children's future and I see cryptocurrency has become a very good valuable asset for inheritance other than property, savings or gold. in the future, this will definitely be a trend.

Ofcourse there's no parents in todays world that aren't thinking about what's good for their children especially no one exactly knows when is our time to leave this world. An inheritance would be the first thing to pop in the parents mind that they could leave it to their children. An inheritance of a cryptocurrency wallet isn't a bad idea afterall we are now living in a tech era, that would be a big help to the beneficiaries as they're starting on their own feet.

You're welcome, try to clear the cache of your browser. Maybe that would solve the problem that you're encountering. The game of Ginebra is on Christmas day.
And I think the whole Araneta coliseum is going to be full as they're against the Magnolia. Good old days are coming back again to PBA with the help of PBA fans and other people who share the same interest on that Christmas day.

I am expecting that. Philippines has no single case of the Omicron virus yet so we can still enjoy roaming around with minimum restriction since the government is happy with the decreasing number of cases per day. This is the time to enjoy, a game between these two teams is really worth watching and since they are back in the arena where it can accommodate a lot of fans, so we might probably see a sold out crowd.

2494  Economy / Economics / Re: To be financially well and healty you need to find fund manager on: December 22, 2021, 05:41:15 PM
Self literacy on how to be financially well and manage your money in a healthy should be self taught, everything is available now on the internet and there you could find different ways how to circulate your money, you just have to sort that things out on your own on which move or ways is going to fit you. To be financially well and free is so important instead of just living in a lavish lifestyle without investing it.
Also, there's no need to hire someone to become your financial advisor. You just have to meet them in a place where you could talk and take some notes on what is the best thing to do and pay them on the spot one-time to avoid paying unnecessary funds.
2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors desire on meme coins are insane on: December 22, 2021, 05:10:35 PM
This is probably what many don't want to hear right now but I'm just trying to share what I've achieved so far since the last three months, I'm made more money from meme coins than every other bigger coins I have in my portfolio, not even BTC and ETH where able to give me that much insane profits in a short term, since I've been here on this forum I've never seen my portfolio surging high like this, meme coins are dangerous but their rewards are insane

Not a financial advice, what have your own experience been like with meme coins?
Personally, I have devoted myself to trade and hold promising coins like bitcoin, ethereum and other coins that I find it interesting to invest. I always keep my distance from the memecoins to avoid future loss of funds rather than reaping profits, so I steer clear from it no matter how tempting it can be.
Well, that's my personal opinion about those coins but there are still other people who invests in memecoins and generated profits succesfully just like you. You're lucky and I admire your courage on taking that extreme risky situation.
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 22, 2021, 04:02:42 PM
Thanks to their great performance in the last two quarters, Phoenix Suns got a very important win against LA Lakers last night by 108-90. It is a really huge victory when we consider that Lebron James and Westbrook were in this game also. Davis couldn't play at Lakers due to knee injury. I think that Lebron and Westbrook still played really great. Lebron got 34 points and 7 rebounds. And Westbrook made a double-double by 22 points and 12 rebounds. Even if Westbrook scored a near amount to Lebron's, Suns would have still won this. They felt the absence of Davis.
Lakers were so hype within the 1st quarter with James and Westbrooke starts to show off in the first few minutes of the quarter and later on they have been having a hard time catching the Suns. Indeed, they really felt the absence of Davis's asissts and rebounds to catch up the lead. Also, Rondo didn't made a score in his 23 minutes in the court.
The Phoenix Suns was impressive today, especially Booker and Ayton as the lead on tonights game. All thanks to Chris Paul's powerful assists.
2497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People claiming themself satoshi on: December 21, 2021, 07:24:50 PM
I can't stop thinking about people who claim to be Satoshi, I mean people, especially people here, of course know and won't believe in things like that. I'm sure people like that must have a certain purpose why they do that. but it's not easy to fool people nowadays because of course many people can think clearly. the principle at this time is not to easily believe in a case or news that is not necessarily true, focus on our initial goal of joining the crypto world that is get the profit.
I can't really think of atleast one or two reason on why would someone claim that he/she is the real Satoshi Nakamoto because certainly nobody would believe that claim and people will demand proof to certify the claim wether he/she is the real one. That somebody is clearly out of his/her mind, and it's just an absolute act to calling for a threats from notorious people who wants to nab Satoshi's wealth. Good luck to that claim!
2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: December 21, 2021, 06:59:28 PM
In long term investment with altcoins your asset will be locked for years which means you need to be patient for a long time of not withdrawing your asset but in exchange of higher rewards. Market moves up and down but the long term investment will surely gives the you high profits in the long run. However, knowing that there are thousands of altcoins available in the market today, so, you need to choose the right altcoin for you that will also last long in the market.
Exactly! Being committed in a long term investment isn't an easy one to pull of, because it really needs extra patient to make that investment gain some profit. Altcoins is almost the same to bitcoin's nature, the only challenge is to having a research for you to pick surely that atleast 3 top performing altcoins before locking it for years or depends on your timeline but since altcoins doesn't perform as much as bitcoin does so practically hodling it for atleast 2 years is somehow needed to gain that expected profits you want.
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 21, 2021, 06:07:05 PM
Manila Clasico will explode the Araneta Coliseum. PBA really put that game on Christmas Day. I'm expecting a full capacity allowed on the venue as it's been years since they watch the classic game live at the venue. The ticket cost is also cheap. Great timing for those who want to watch. If only I'm not busy on that day, I might take a shot watching live. The venue is easy to access to my location.
Full capacity? Nah mate, I wish that would happen especially these days. I bet that the IATF has already sat with the commissioner and the promoters about the allocated capacity in Araneta this Christmas. The league has only released and allocated 4,000 individual tickets to the fully vaccinated audience and fans who wishes to watch the game. 4,000 only out of 16,000 seating capacity of Smart Araneta Coliseum. Surely the tickets are already sold out not because it's cheap but due to the team who will play, it's Ginebra vs Magnolia.

Chicago Bulls got another win by defeating the team at the last place in the Western Conference, Houston Rockets. Since Harden left the team, Rockets have been falling apart and we see this clearly in their performances. They won only 10 times in 31 games so far. And they lost this game by 133-118 also. Bulls continue chasing the leader team which are Brooklyn Nets now. They revolutionized their roster and they have its benefits this season a lot.
As usual, DeRozan had another great game with 26 points, I think he will never fall below with the 20+ points per game and he is having a great season with the team that clearly fits for him, I'm sure everyone can see that. No Lavine, no problem for the Bulls, they still win easily.
In fact, DeRozan has been impressive in his role as forward in their last two games with Rockets and Lakers and scored not below 25 points. In their last match against Lakers, he alone scored 38 points in his 34 minutes in the court. LaVine isn't expected to play not until past Christmas due to Covid-19 Protocol, and seems that the Bulls aren't affected without him.
