2481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: January 01, 2021, 10:04:24 AM
Binance is always the no. 1 exchange because they will bother much about their customers whenever their customers lose anything, they will compensate their customers from their safe funds. That's how they are increasing their user base and they are gaining a lot of trust in the crypto market.

And the good thing with Binance is they cater customers from different part of the world, you can even create an account without KYC though they are a regulated site, so they really gained the trust of the traders and investors. I'm a Binance user here, I think over 3 years already and I never face a single problem AFAIR.
2482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: January 01, 2021, 09:36:53 AM
Ripple is a great cryptocurrency and they have made a lot of achievements so far. I also like the fact that they can achieve their goal of working with several banks around the world, but I don't think that ripple is the next bitcoin. Bitcoin deserves its current position as number one. Bitcoin came first and when people talk about cryptocurrencies and decentralized payments, it's always Bitcoin because it was the first to make that name for itself.

Even if Ripple manages to maintain at least some influence on the market and maintain the value of its coins, this will not happen very soon. There is more than one court session ahead. It remains only to sympathize with the holders of XRP tokens, who had the hope of making a profit in the future.
I hope they'll wake up, XPR might fall and they'll not be able to get out, unless they are playing with the fire here, or they really a high risk taker who are willing to lose what they invested in the hopes of big profit once Ripple wins the case.
2483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: January 01, 2021, 09:13:57 AM
No way it will come back if it will still the same ICO we will witness,
I agree, mate. Investors will be difficult to trust in the ICO anymore. Moreover, if there is no change in ICO. I think it is time to move on to IEO. It has a better reputation than ICO so far. Even if no guarantee that IEO is free of scammers, at least IEO can grant you a listing place at the beginning of fundraising/token sale.

It's an upgrade of ICO, during the ICO days, investors and even bounty hunter are looking where the project will be listed, if it's in a bad exchange, they will be disappointed, at least in IEO, we know what exchange its offered and we can make a decision easily.
2484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: December 31, 2020, 03:03:03 PM
you are not sure eth will get ATH? see now the price of ETH has increased than in the past few months. so i think don't be afraid to save eth or will regret it later
Maybe he's not sure because at the time he made this thread ethereum's situation was a bit disappointing but if he saw the development of ethereum he certainly wouldn't do anything to ethereum that he has at least until tomorrow (new year)

First we have to know the ATH of ETH, per https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/.. it's almost $14000 last January 2018, same year when it dump due to correction. So let's look at the price now, ETH may have increase but I believe it will struggle to reach $1000, so no, there's no ATH soon, probably next year if the market is bullish, especially bitcoin.
2485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can ICOs come back in the game? on: December 31, 2020, 02:12:10 PM
We want ICO to comeback in the game but we can't guarantee investors that they won't get scammed, this is why ICO failed in the first place, people don't trust the crowdfunding anymore, even today only very strong projects use ICO and most I've seen used ICO and IEO combined
No way it will come back if it will still the same ICO we will witness, people have move on, they have something safer than ICO, so why would they choose ICO to come back, come on guys, let's be realistic, let's just consider ICO as part of the history.
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 31, 2020, 11:03:55 AM
Make a plan when you gamble. Using a limit on your own can also help. Some sites also have the option to set a limit when you play.
The problem with that is that you can then easily switch to another site and continue over there.
Limiting is a must.

If you keep on switching from one to another, that's not a problem. A gambler is doing that if he's not satisfied with his game play on the certain casino he's playing.

The insurance is out of that but there's no such offer to avail, that's why that limiting is the manual method that a gambler can apply to avoid too many losses.

If you know how to limit, means you are responsible, you don't need an insurance for that since insurance doesn't really exist in gambling, you know what exist, it's taxes, from players and the casino operators, so we don't need to hope for that.
2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I see you Tether and now Litecoin wants XRP spot too...XRP might dump? (RIP XRP) on: December 31, 2020, 03:41:52 AM
XRP has got good real-time use as a transaction support service provider. It had never thought of such an issue to take place due to the security tokens offering. It isn't easy to get back to normal growth in the market very soon. SEC has got everything clear on its documents. More exchanges have stopped the trading services, very few countries around the world continue to give support. The market dumps and reaches down to the lowest, but if it succeed once again we can see the bounce back.
SEC is government agency, XRP need to fight but it's a hard fight for them to win, the chance is very slim that's why people now are panic selling. As we can see, XRP's market has dump a lot, one of the giant altcoin in the market will soon be out in the top 10, believe me it will happen.
2488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: December 31, 2020, 03:26:27 AM
Bitcoin has done a lot for me. I was searching for a part time job to earn some money as a student. Then suddenly i came to know about bitcoin. Then I searched about it and now I'm earning a good amount of money through  bitcoin Alhamdulillah.
It's the future of currency. And I am quite sure that it will  show it’s value all over the world.

Stick with bitcoin, there's a lot of opportunity you can find, either for work or for investment.
I'm glad I know this forum, everything started here, I mean the earning opportunity as before I learned the forum, I was spending bitcoin in gambling sites.  Grin
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 31, 2020, 03:01:58 AM
How about the Orlando Magic? they set up a franchise history with their 4th win in a row. this team doesn't have a lot of superstar rooster but still continue to stay on the top, will it continue until the 5th game?

Wow! that's amazing, honestly, I didn't notice that since I wasn't following this team, you know, they are not a top contender team but I'm happy to see them having a good start. Looking forward for the streak continue, and hopefully they'll be a legit contender if they'll eventually reach the playoffs.
2490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 30, 2020, 11:33:04 PM
The Lakers seem to be missing some big man energy they were getting from JaVale McGee & Dwight Howard last year. I think it was a mistake to let them both get away. Particularly Dwight Howard given how cheap he was willing to sign for.
It was indeed a mistake on letting those big man to get away with those two you can really see the contribution or the control below the rim or in paint.
What a bad decision that had been made.
Just relax, Lakers may not won every game but they are not struggling, they are still a great team, Gasol, Davis, and Harrell will soon be more consistent. I think their biggest mistake was letting Rondo, the 2nd unit is a better roster with him.
2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: December 30, 2020, 11:23:10 PM
I am totally agree, altcoin is unfit for long term hold, most of them worth nothing are their final result, only a few of altcoins survive eventually. Even if it is on the top 10 of crypto market, price will also fall several times, not like BTC.

Altcoins and bitcoins are different from each other and the increase in the price of Btc does not always affect other altcoins and vice versa. but a good advice is if you hold both altcoins and bitcoins then always pay attention to your portfolio so as not to lose the opportunity to sell.

Altcoins will bleed, at least many of them because bitcoin continues to achieve another milestone of success. I'm excited to see bitcoin hitting $30k as we celebrate this new year, I can already imagine the meme's it's about the rocket and bitcoin. lol

Altcoins, I married it already, but I learned my mistakes, I'm not anymore expecting they'll rise from the dead.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: December 30, 2020, 10:59:44 PM
Ryan Garcia asked his promoter Golden Boy to start negotiating the fight against Luke Campbell for the interim lightweight championship.

This will be a tough fight to negotiate. Ryan is 21 years old and Luke is 32 years old. I see Ryan has good potential coming from winning his last two bouts by knockout in the first round. Here we will see the experience of Campbell and the good performance of Ryan.

If the match up between Garcia and Campbell is the one that will push through, it would be Garcia's fight. Respects to Campbell's strong punches but the younger fighter looks like capable enough to dodge the knocking capabilities of Luke, if not totally withstand them should some hard punches land squarely on Garcia.
People really have interest in watching boxing that we can do when ever we are angry at someone, I see these like catching of fun, now, if I may ask, assuming Garcia defeat Campbell what is going to be our benefit towards it.
We will be happy if we are cheering for Garcia, and we will be happier if we put a bet on him to win. That's thy the world "FAN" has invented because we admire someone and support him to be successful, that's what fans are doing, they are rooting for their boxer to win, and in this fight, we have more fans supporting Garcia.
2493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 29, 2020, 12:46:39 PM
I don’t believe this apart from the Pokerstar series in Tv.I have seen many people claiming they make a living out of gambling but that was only a claim as after sometime their life turned south in a really bad way. Some even became homeless.I have yet to see an example of a normal person who makes a living from gambling.

The chance is slim to always win so I don't think someone will make this as normal job that can give them passive income. There is no way you will not lost even how good you are in gambling . It's only works in movie.
But in real life not even 1% of gamblers win in long run even how veterans you claim you are that's why other prefered to invest in house instead of being a players since they know how little the chance to win continuesly.

It is really true that the chance is very slim, though I don't know exactly the right percentage of our chances, but looking at how profitable casinos and bookies, that means they are winning from most of us, and if you belong to the successful gambler, you are lucky to have such skills.

We can always try our journey if we want to, but knowing the risk and our chance is the least requirement and we should understand it before taking a journey which is considered as a high risk.
2494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: December 29, 2020, 11:01:48 AM
Few days before the fight but there is still no other market for this fight other than the moneyline on my favorite bookies.

Though this is not for the regular championship belt as it is only interim but still this is a big fight and i'm planning to bet for a Ryan Garcia win via KO.

Maybe the odds is higher if you bet on KO win, there's still 5 days before this fight will happen, probably the entire market will be displayed a day before so just check it that time, I suggest not to bet now due to the limited odds only, for me 1.24 is quite low though the chance is high.

I think this is just one strategy of bookies here, they gonna just set in the last couple of days other betting option, and it's like 'forcing' gambler to bet early with Garcia winning but with not that attractive odds, meaning gamblers will have to bet huge amount first, so its a win situation for sport bookies.

So let's wait, maybe 1-2 days before the fight, there could be options like KO by round odds and others.

I don't think so, this is just one site, speaking of bookies, we have big bookies and they are fiat bookies and I believe they are offering more market compared to the crypto sportsbook, this fight will attract bettors because they are popular fighters so I believe bookies of sportsbook here just have different providers.

2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: December 28, 2020, 11:03:07 PM
even i hold btc and some altcoin when those were on the peak in 2017. Although i sold those later! Because i hadn't found enough possibility that can ensure me that those might be hit upto the peak price again.but that time i was newbie, so i ain't going to run the same mistake again.i had some amount of btc and altcoin, that already converted to usdt.cause altcoins are so risky now.they didn't follow bitcoin bullish market, but now following the bearish, which may an embarrassing situation for crytpo users
I think moving on would be the right thing to do, can't tell if it will recover especially if its value are very cheap now, so better accept early that it's the way altcoins are working, even one of the biggest altcoins in the market is facing a problem now, you know what I'm talking, right?

When investing in altcoins, I suggest to also learn how to diversify, make sure big portion is allocated on bitcoin investment.

On Mavs vs Lakers I have a feeling that somehow Mavs can pulls out a victory in the 4th quarter...but we'll see.
I'm not expecting of a win from Mavs. Look! Lakers loss in their first game at home, now still playing at home, so I guess they'll bounce back from a loss and will beat the Mavericks, they are the defending champion, they don't allow to lose twice in their home court, even there's no crowd inside the arena.

@Betwrong, I tried to click the link as I have not seen that video yet.

However, this video is not available in my country, hm... I think I'll use vpn to access it.

first time to encounter a youtube video that is restricted on some country and it shows that the youtube uploader done that not the youtube itself but why would they do that ,

whats the difference of your country from another but from which country you are living ?

but you know what to do and youtube isnt the only source for that video , try converter sites and play it on there or download it . that could also fix the problem .

I'm not a youtuber so I would not know, but it's very clear in the prompt message that it was the uploader who made it not available in my country.  Grin

The uploader has not made this video available in your country.

I tried an online downloader but I still can't download the site.

I used the site https://en.savefrom.net/1-youtube-video-downloader-4/... It's only working on videos that I can video.

Anyway, I guess VPN is the only choice, and as of now I don't have an active VPN subscription so no way I can watch this. lol

What else do we need to say about this? It seems to go on and on. What I do wonder is how those people all end up on the 1xbit site. You can hear that a lot of advertising is done at 1xbit, but 1xbit is aimed at crypto. Anyone with crypto who wants to gamble who first checks a forum or reviews via google?
It terms of advertising, this website is really good, and not every gambler knows about the forum so they can't read their reputation here. Also, please consider that the gambling is not totally a scam, I mean, there are gamblers who are still playing with the site without a problem, so they still have some loyal gamblers.
2500  Other / Archival / Re: ... on: December 25, 2020, 11:58:44 AM
Now Bitcoin is the 7th largest currency in the world, maybe it's slowly moving towards  replacing the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency, but I don't think that Bitcoin will be the mostly used payment method in the world.
Are you sure about that? People are seeing bitcoin as a commodity and didn't you watch the management funds companies from US that bought bitcoin to be used as the store of value? that means they are not investing in bitcoin caused by it can be used as a payment system that could replace the fiat money and this will never possible.
but there are also people and big companies that use btc as a payment system . like what sig companies are doing in this forum , they buy big amounts of btc and pay their participants weekly or depending on the payment schedule of the campaign but we are aware that there are companies and people that invest on btc for non payment purpose . what the guy shared is just a ranking and dont take that personaly because even him he isnt sure that if btc will be the currency of the world once it rank gets higher .
First of all they are not buying, most of the companies that runs their signature campaign in the forum are crypto businesses, majority of them are crypto casinos and they are accepting casinos for gambling, so it's easy for them to pay the campaigners as they are making huge profit.
