2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 15, 2021, 08:32:31 AM
2/3 Yey.
Denver won and under for Blazers vs Pacers.
Sadly, GSW and Nuggets cannot make a high score. A slow start in the 4th quarter.

So they just did man to man defense against Curry and not a "box and one".
That is why Curry still scored 35 points.
I think Mike Malone's strategy was to only answer to every score GSW will make. Somehow it worked.
Jokic for his 5th triple-double of the season. Damn.
2482  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's reason for pumping btc price? on: January 15, 2021, 04:27:07 AM
Where would you put your money instead if not Bitcoin?
I guess you should at least answer that for yourself. I know there are a lot of options there but this "Bitcoin" could be the best out of it.
If not, the number 2 best option.

Not on your drawer because of thieves and not on banks because of thieves in their suits.  Cheesy
Think about it. People might be suffocated already by how financial industries are just keeping their money without any good amount of interest.
They make tons of money investing it while you have .01 percent only or less. (annually)
2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 14, 2021, 06:47:27 PM
Hey guys, just wonder'n if there's an existing app for mobile to keep me updated on NBA News and live Games?
I just use Google as my live scoring application. It notifies me of the score without even opening the browser.
I think you will need to allow the notification setting.
NBA news, same. I use Twitter and follow NBA Analysts which are mostly working with ESPN for accuracy.
Same, it also notifies me without opening the app.  Grin
Most of the time when I wake up, I got loads of notifications on my smartphone.  Grin
I hope that helps.
2484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that bitcoin could hit 10 million ever? on: January 14, 2021, 05:15:41 PM
Inflation yes, high valued fiat money no.
Surely, we could call it "the moon" but it's doesn't look normal enough.
10 million hairs maybe.
Someone or something will always try to bring it down using the traditional ways as an excuse.
It will happen. They could just pretend people are not ready yet.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 14, 2021, 01:33:31 PM
Early picks again.  Cheesy
Under 230.5 Blazers vs Pacers
Over 227.5 Nuggets vs GSW
Nuggets -4.5 @1.86 and a betbuilder for player stats.  Wink

I will definitely watch the Nuggets vs GSW game. I would love to see how the Nuggets will suffocate Steph to avoid his offensive attacks.
Will it be the same "box and one" defense?

2486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 14, 2021, 11:39:06 AM
One way to avoid it is to never sell.

To flip the negativity of trading early (regrets) is to forget about what you've done.
How? Start something new. Focus on that. Then with high hopes, slowly you will not remember it anymore.
I know the feeling, sometimes it visits like nightmares when you are alone.
Thankfully, I don't remember the numbers anymore.
2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We must perform the forbidden ritual to end the Altcoin Winter on: January 14, 2021, 09:17:00 AM
I agree.
But, it looks like laziness is still what takes over.  Grin
Or, they are going to rant that you are just shilling.

People nowadays, it's just too difficult to understand how their brain works. They take you down without even a reason behind it.
How about FX token? Did someone know about it? Yeah, I am shilling.  Cheesy

"Reporting with @RamonaShelburne
: Brooklyn is acquiring Houston’s James Harden in a blockbuster deal, sources tell ESPN."
source: https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1349463753465720836

And the rumor now become true, James Harden was traded to Brooklyn Nets.

What a turnout. But it costs Nets exchanging their good role players which I even considered the future of the Nets franchise, Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, and Taurean Prince. Want to see badly now where the Nets will end up this season.

On the other hand, I wonder what's the reaction of Giannis here. The competition in the East now become tough and his target reaching the Finals become more pain their ass.

WTF?!!!
Is this win or is it suicide?  Grin We will see.
I might follow Houston now and not Nets. Yeah, they might have superstars but I like betting for underdogs more.
Besides, LeVert, Allen, and Prince can still put their chemistry in Houston and now Wall can be a legitimate point guard.  Grin
I just hope they also added Dinwiddie with the trade.

Good news for Mavs fans, KP is back.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 13, 2021, 06:02:44 PM
Is nobody gonna talk about the fact LeBron was bet his 3 pointer wasn’t going to go in mid-shot, then turned around and said, “bet” as it went in? Legendary... He was having way too much fun against the Rockets yesterday.
It shows how great their chemistry is by having fun.
Schroder is not even there for a month or a couple but yet he was having so much fun with Lebron.
This dude "Lebron" could really make something out of nothing.
Their roster had been changed "a lot" but yet the company with them doesn't look like they are new to the team.

Good thing the ball went in.  Grin
Here's the interview for that shot.

2490  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump bans Alipay and seven other Chinese apps on: January 13, 2021, 03:12:46 PM
If it's not about business then he might be trying something else.
Maybe China's madness in a higher form for a worse government when Biden sits.
I heard some goals from Biden about health, Covid-19, and banning entertainment industries until everything is clear but never about China.
I guess we will just see how he will react to this. It's near. Thank goodness.
2491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 13, 2021, 11:45:06 AM
Herro lifts the heat but short in the last dying seconds, if that shot was made they might win the game.

In the other side the last 3 point was crucial for the Sixers good thing that Green get that rebound and pass it to Mathias, the only points that this guy have but very important to win this game. Great escape snatching this one at home.
Old school Danny Green did it again.
They did not even let him rest for a minute.  Grin Whoever bet for 9 3-point field goal made is a big winner now. If ever that existed in the line.
How about Embiid? 45 points, 16 rebounds. Monster game for him too especially in that 3rd quarter. He was really hot.

Great effort for the young Heat too without Butler in the game. Herro showcased the future of Miami.
I didn't put any bet last night. I thought some games will be postponed again.
2492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long time lurker, 1st post on: January 13, 2021, 07:34:49 AM
I have seen that same speculation but yet I still don't agree with it.
Maybe I am too pessimistic about it.  Grin
$50k is not even reached yet and we could see a lot of panic coming around on social media.
It could also be the reason why it is just fluctuating back and forth $30k-35k.
Some may have been gaining their profits now. I would not really expect much this year.
2493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 13, 2021, 05:02:23 AM
What’s going on with Kyrie Irving and at what point should the league step in? Kyrie is completely disrespecting league covid rules, not keeping his coach in the loop, and seems to be continuing his downward spiral. I can’t imagine just not showing up for work and not giving my boss a reason. I think Kyrie deserves a fine and possibly a suspension without pay to give him a reality check. He’s locker room poison and Steve Nash is having his coaching skills tested right off the bat.
Thanks, OG.
Just found out about the news after I read this.
This is like the Lou Williams case. Just a different event.
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30698732/kyrie-irving-not-expected-rejoin-brooklyn-nets-week-nba-reviewing-maskless-videos
No discipline at all.
Suspension without pay should really be the one implemented with this and then fine him with a large amount of money.
This may cause something worse with other players doing the same thing if the punishment is shallow.
Teach him a good lesson so that others won't imitate him.
I thought there is an agreement/contract upon entering the bubble. Why can these players just get out whenever they please.
2494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin has the most investment value in the cryptocurrency field? on: January 12, 2021, 07:55:53 PM
Ethereum.
Oh, and I am looking at LTC too. Old school type of coins.
I have a bad experience joining new alts to invest with that is why I just went back to the old habit.
I think I was also dragged by the hype in 2017 with alts soaring in value and I got used to it until just recently I was brought back to reality.
Now, I gained a lot of my profit from my Ethereum investment which was just bought at $260. I could really sell now if I want to.
2495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 12, 2021, 06:25:30 PM
It just went back up to $35k.
I don't think this will be the same thing as in 2017. History won't repeat itself anymore.
People can see bitcoin now and the range it can go. Their investments will surely have something to go with rather than staying with banks.
The more it goes popular the higher chance we could achieve more supporters that will keep on holding.
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 12, 2021, 02:22:34 PM
The best part. They already surpassed their delusional father.  Grin
The moment they got to NBA that's the moment they surpassed him (fact), the best thing is his sons aren't talking that much, unlike their father that looks like a clown with some of what he says.
Hahaha. That's true. I am just curious about what will happen if ever his sons didn't meet his expectations.
He would be devastated and might go crazy.

5 winning streak for GSW. Damn, they are really back and their chemistry is working pretty well.
The small line-up with Paschall and Wanamaker are contributing well.
Then the new 3-way combo of Curry, Green, and Wiseman.
Curry might not have done a huge amount of points against the Raptors but he helped by absorbing the defense leaving the whole team open.
2497  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin's price drop to 30K healthy? on: January 12, 2021, 01:00:42 PM
It's not healthy but it may be normal because of its volatility.
Expect this to happen a lot when panic emotions are getting higher.
Hell, I admit I am also in a panic that my fingers are trembling to just press that sell button.
I just want more BTC to buy after it is being dumped again by profit makers. Like riding a big boat.
2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH’s “top” this market cycle? on: January 12, 2021, 10:07:08 AM
I think it's wildly optimistic.
Even with ETH 2.0 I believe it cannot go way far $50k.
Not even 10-20k.

I believe $1k-1.5k could happen since history is a good reference for it even if Vitalik said it might not happen again.
The creator might have surrendered but not its supporters. I guess that's how good Ethereum is even with all the ruckus he made.
It can rise more with the staking process but they will have to be careful with their updates.
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 12, 2021, 08:53:26 AM
Did they postpone some of the games already?
I didn't get the updated news yet.

Sorry for the loss for those who bet at Portland -5. They didn't cover it.
A low scoring game for the Cavs and Grizzlies again. Damn, I thought they could at least cover 206.5.

Get them bets while you can because we might see the league being paused for a week or two:
Looks like its already happening.
Quote
Two Mavs starters — Dorian Finney-Smith and Josh Richardson — and Jalen Brunson sat out last Saturday’s 112-98 win over the Orlando Magic because of health and safety protocols. And a fourth player, Maxi Kleber, was listed as questionable for tonight’s game due to health and safety protocols.
https://www.mavs.com/mavs-postponed/
We all know what "health and safety protocols" mean.  Grin
2500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Read this before doing any investment on: January 11, 2021, 07:18:19 PM
Number 2 should definitely be the main rule.

I agree, but this could easily backfire to you if you're going to daydream too long. What I mean is, a new project could go up instantly after it's been listed in a certain exchanger, and after that, it will instantly fall down and that's the end of it. Most of projects way back then (ICO), you're lucky if it get listed, because some of them turned into a scam already in the middle of their ICO, that's why it is indeed important to run a background check first to know if a certain token has a potential to give you profits in a short or long term.
Yeah, that's why you are staying with the old school with roots.
There is always a chance it will go up but it may take months or years. Better to stay there than risking more.
Anyway, it's based on my own experience. You could say it's like a trauma.  Grin
I think it is difficult to find potential new projects because what we analyze in fundamentals does not guarantee whether this will still be your return in investors, I don't really guarantee that new projects can get you bigger but we have more confidence in altcoins that are already on the market it's just that we analysis is stronger than the new project.
A lot of things go wrong from taking a step on a new project and it always has fatal consequences.
That is why number 2 is what I chose from OP's post.
I think there is always that dream of being rich by risking higher that cannot be abolished in people's minds.
Even top alts are already at high risk, why go further into investing with much higher risk on a new one.
