market cap é útil para muitas coisas, mas número de transações, número de carteiras, uso da rede são métricas que devem caminhar junto, na minha opinião.

Eu acho que a sociedade em geral já superou aquele medo de que o Bitcoin era golpe, pirâmide, coisa de nerd ou dinheiro usado na darknet.... enfim.
Com a entrada de investimento institucional de grandes players o bitcoin quebrou esse tabu.
A questão de ser usado para branqueamento de capitais e fugas, ainda não terminou. Principalmente por causa da guerra, essa ideia ficou ainda mais vincada junto da comunidade politica. Já as instituições financeiras, simplesmente já agarraram a mão do Bitcoin e afins. acontece que essa ideia é um besteirol imenso, já foi comprovado que é muito mais fácil lavar dinheiro usando o bom e velho dinheiro físico do que uma ledger permanente... mas vamos vendo como as coisas se desenrolam concordo que as instituições e a opinião pública já mudaram muito a favor de crypto, mas acho que o caminho ainda é bem longo. |

I wonder why other styles of sports didn't really "catch" in Brazil, we have volleyball and it's probably the second biggest one but for sure way far from football/soccer

Probably because soccer is cheap, we just need a ball and nothing else  Only a couple of flip flops to mark the goal and we are ready to play I remember when I was at school, and we played soccer most of times, only a few weeks we played basketball, volleyball and handball, it's our culture already and hard to change. We don't have much infrastructure to play another sports in a wide way. <...> Could be about soccer being cheap, never thought about that before, but not so hard to improvise something for volleyball as well and on soccer having the goal structure helps too, even though you don't need it to play. I think we do have infrastructure to play other sports, but it's a matter of culture and public preference, on the other hand, we also know that the public preference can change according to media and marketing I used to play all sports on the school too |

I have already seen gambling sites before that accepts in game skins so if that was possible then why not nft's when nft's are much more popular than them and have more potential but isn't building a separate platform dedicated only for nft gambling can be an additional expense? Why cant they just adopt nft on their existing site? In that way they can save money and they better use that money for promotions to tell that they are now supporting nft's. It is possible to merge cryptos and nft's at one place. Crypto exchange sites already did that. yes, it could be now we see a trend of passes on the nft space like membership cards that give you perks and advantages this could easily be applied to gambling and any website in reality |

Para o meu uso, não vejo grande vantagem, porque normalmente quando uso BTC para pagar algo, é porque não quero gastar fiat nessa compra. Claro que para evitar pagar impostos, quando é obrigatório, é bom. Mas a pessoa tem de depois carregar com fiat para pagar a divida, ou na espectativa do BTC valorizar ao ponto de ir liquidando a vida. Enfim, tudo depende de como a pessoa gere o seu dinheiro. O Saylor compara btc com propriedades "premium" vc não vende um apartamento na 5ª avenida em NY ou na Avenida Paulista em São Paulo, vc aluga, ganha rendimentos com ele pra sempre e passa pros seus heredeiros, se quiser alavancagem pega um empréstimo usando o apartamento como garantia com uma das menores taxas do mercado se souber se organizar financeiramente e o empréstimo for uma parte do seu capital, não terá problemas alguns dizem que com btc é a mesma coisa real state digital. |
