2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: July 12, 2020, 03:25:54 PM
It's no more news that many of us would have had some horrible experiences participating in some resources wasting projects. However, my opinion is that, do bounty managers just accept hook line and sinker to manage bounty campaigns for any project without taking some time to look at the prospects of such project?

I think there should be some experienced members of this forum apart from moderators (because moderators' works might be too enormous) that should be in charge of reviewing projects before bounty managers are allowed to create bounty and/or announcement threads for such projects.  If this can be done effectively, I think the advent of these unworthy projects can be mitigated.

To wrap it up, a bounty manager once told me when I called his attention to some unrealistic plans of the project he was managing, he said he is not concerned about the success of the project, once he gets his weekly payment from the team. I want to know if there are some levels of punishment for bounty managers that manage unworthy projects apart from negative trust?

You raised a really interesting topic. Indeed, in recent years, many bounty managers turned out to be scammers and the Bitcointalk form helped them capture them. I think this is a very good job and I thank them. The penalty in this case is a negative mark and possibly even an account lockout. No matter how there, but this measure of punishment at the moment is the best. Perhaps all these processes can be made even better, but personally I will not take such methods for now. In any case, the fight against fraudsters continues and this is very good.
2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: July 12, 2020, 03:20:25 PM
Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

I believe this is due to several factors. The first of them is the desire to earn a lot and quickly. Very often there are people who, to the best of their stupidity and lack of knowledge, believe that they are lucky and will now earn quickly. The second problem is not the desire of people to delve into the proposal and study it. In my practice there were such people, I asked them why they do not want to study information, but try to believe everything that they are offered? The answer was this, we don’t want to waste time studying, we just play the lottery, we’re lucky - we’ll be unlucky. To be honest, I don’t understand such people. So it turns out that laziness very often leads people to lose money.

2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: July 10, 2020, 03:39:34 PM
At present, the market condition of altcoin is not very good, the exchange rate of BTC is getting lower and lower, and many altcoins have been unmaintained. Even if the development team still insists, the price is very miserable! The blow to the entire team is not small, I am afraid it is difficult to persevere. Now there are a few questions that I want to discuss with you:
1. In your life, when would you use cryptocurrencies to shop? We know that people like to use cryptocurrencies in the dark web.Is general life shopping necessary?
2. If you use cryptocurrency for payment, what currency will you prefer to choose and why?
3. At present, the altcoin market is very bleak. Do you think this is a buying opportunity?
4. What do you think is the easiest to implement in Altcoin's future application scenarios and will attract more users!

Thanks all replies

At one time, I studied the history of the development of the crypto market and how many revealed a certain cyclical nature in its development. That is what gives me the opportunity to believe that at least one more leap upwards awaits us. However, this vision is undermined by recent events in the world. And now I’m thinking about the real termination of cryptocurrencies and maybe they were created to save the financial system in these difficult conditions. Of course, this does not mean that the price can fly to the moon, but still, the price of cryptocurrency, in particular, altcoins, is fairly confident. I also saw another bad factor, namely the manipulation of crypto assets. All this can both destroy the industry and, in turn, give it a new round of development. At the moment I work mainly with ETH and LTC and hope for another flight to the moon.
2506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 09, 2020, 03:27:47 PM
Many of us were well known the Coinmarketcap from where we receive all cryptocurrency like coins and tokens details like on which exchange they listed, what is the 24-hour treading volume, or which platform they based on, etc. These days many new crypto coins and tokens was introducing and listing on many exchanges and It makes a very difficult decision for the investor to choose which coins or tokens should they invest to make some good profit. Many of the new cryptocurrency was makes a good pump in their stating days and after they dump in a very dramatic way. This cause a big loss to the investors and the trust in these types to new coins and tokens was finished. So, the main question is that Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens? or it is good for a very certain time of investment?

This is a very good question. The main thing here is not to forget that any investment has risks. Somewhere they are big, somewhere less, but they are always there. Is it worth investing in new coins or tokens? Of course it’s worth it, it’s just that you need to approach this matter very responsibly. Now the market is full of different crypto projects and cryptocurrencies, which means that it is more difficult to make a choice. But all this does not prevent other people from earning investments. Someone is just lucky, but someone knows how to analyze information and make the right choice.

2509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 08, 2020, 01:59:10 PM
I don't know if some newbies are still doing this today, if you are you'd better stop right now. Many new coins can be easily mined through a single CPU or GPU but 90% of them are trash coins, you need to understand how important use cases are.

In the old days, three to four years back I was so obsessed with new coins simply because they are easy to acquire, mining them is easy and difficulty are low, this got me blind so I started mining coins without getting into good research first, I ended up with coins like

1. MarketCash
2. NiobioCash
3. Worktips
4. Spotme
5. Gadcoin

And so on.....
These coins are all dead or useless right now, few are trading back then but I was too dump to sell and buy better coins.

Today I asked myself why did I do that back then, I guess it's because I never knew the difference of high quality projects and why some coins make it to top 100, If you are reading this make this your targets

The importance of real use case

I believe that you did everything right, you wanted to earn money and for this you chose a lot of different projections and cryptocurrencies. It is worth noting that earlier the crypto sphere was only gaining momentum and almost all coins gave good profit, but there is a moment. Many, including you, were waiting for a huge income to get rich and therefore kept these coins. Now they are worth nothing and you have not received the expected profit. I went the other way. I participated in various companies and immediately sold the coins I received. He left only a small part and did it right. It gave me the opportunity to make good money. I think that waiting too long is also bad.
2510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: July 07, 2020, 07:36:20 PM
The vast majority of new crypto investors that I am aware of are anxious and restless these days. Gone are the days when early crypto investors  invest in coins and watch it develop over time, newbies and new investors are too in hurry to make money and many turned crypto investment into life jobs.
The benefits of an investment is called returns which takes years to accomplish so its never going to be easy for those looking for short term ROI and yet fundraising like IEO still brings short term profit for smart investors,i think almost all new crypto investors lacks patience

On the one hand, you are right that investments are different, that there are short-term investments, there are long-term ones, and that you need to know the market and not make the main work out of investments. But on the other hand we are seeing an interesting picture. Many crypto projects in which funds were invested have crashed. They are no more, and investments are shaken forever. It turns out that if you invest now and wait a few years, then you can lose everything to the penny. I believe that if you are an investor, you should monitor the activity of the project regularly and in case of bad news manage to withdraw funds. And if you just wait, you can lose everything.
2511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 07, 2020, 03:13:42 PM
Some bounty managers are directly involved with scam projects. They themselves build a website, run bounty here and scam investors money while promoters receive nothing. Kakatua is one of examples. So, it is always better to only participate in campaigns which is managed by reputed campaign managers like Yahoo, Hhampuz. Remember, it is better to join one campaign a year than hundreds in a month.

I completely agree with you. Now many bounty managers have shown their professionalism and now we can clearly see who works and who defends their community. Unfortunately, many bounty managers turned out to be scammers, which further undermined confidence in the bounty companies. I am also now studying the proposed bounty companies in great detail, and almost everything I pass by. Only a few deserve attention. I did not think before that bounty managers themselves could create fraudulent companies. But now I have become smarter and all this thanks to the practice and the Bitcointalk forum.
2512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Facebook advertising boycott could be a good thing for crypto startups. on: July 07, 2020, 03:07:37 PM
Many companies around the world have joined in on the Facebook advertising boycott and it seems that it's not stopping anytime soon. With a flurry of companies leaving and setting this trend, this could mean more business for crypto social and advertising projects like Brave and Steem. It will also be arguably beneficial for crypto companies especially, to not have to depend on Facebook for advertising and hopefully we'll see crypto companies utilizing different platforms for advertising.

Of course, crypto companies and platforms need to go to other advertising platforms or better create their own new ones. Facebook, like other social networks, has a monopoly on advertising and can influence it. It is important for the crypto community to have free activity, for this it is necessary to develop the advertising market. So we see the outflow of advertising companies from Facebook and the emergence of new innovative platforms. I believe that this is the right direction and needs to be developed.
2513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: July 06, 2020, 08:50:29 PM
I know this have been discussed several times on this forum but yet I will like to drop this again, I'm sure few new developers are among us here, so here we go

It will be a whole new story if new projects can start paying bounty hunters in USD or stablecoin, this have few advantages over paying with your own tokens, if new projects find it as a most for people to try out their new Blockchain they should use airdrops instead, airdrops has the lowest rewards, hardly to get 2$ in airdrops today

As for bounties please start paying in USDT, DAI or USDC, this will erase your sense of 'bounty hunters are killing new projects' idea

You offer a great solution, but will the project creators want to do that? Personally, I see the situation like this. If I launch my project, then I want it to be successful and I will do everything for this, including paying for advertising with real money. This applies to the participants of the bounty. We are essentially advertising agents, so why don’t we receive our award immediately and in a stable cryptocurrency ?! Yes, this is a great idea and can solve a number of problems in the industry, namely, to restore confidence in projects from the side of the bounty participants and to restore confidence from investors. Since the latter will see that the project is paying, that is, it is fulfilling its obligations, which means that you can deal with it. In general, the whole problem comes down to the time of payment.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: July 06, 2020, 08:39:06 PM
Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?

I believe that the return of the ICO can only be if there is a return of trust, which we now unfortunately do not observe, as well as an influx of new money. You are right. The economy has suffered and blockchain technology has the opportunity to be sought after. But as for cryptocurrencies, there is a big question. At this moment, many chose a waiting position in the hope of a new flight to the moon. I often monitor new projects and tell you that most of them are very bad. So, the ICO is hoping for a return so far very early.
2515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: July 06, 2020, 07:37:55 PM
I'm here to talk about bounties with long duration, I know we all have our experience with short term bounties and long term bounties but I have come to understand that it doesn't matter, here is my own experience
Last year I promoted E3T bounty project for 4weeks duration and I earned 30$
In 2018 I promoted Airwallet for more than 14 weeks and I earned over a thousand dollar

Durations doesn't matter, small duration bounties can pay high rewards and long duration bounties can pay worse rewards, it's all vice versa, what matters is the quality of the project you promote

In my practice of participating in the company's bounty, one of the longest-running bounties was the Blocklancer platform. So, after more than a year of work, I earned 1 USD. I want to say that the longer the company goes, the worse. The fact is that there is always a time frame for each project, and if it could not be developed, then it is likely that this project will not be successful. There were other bounty companies, some made good money, others were few, and there were some that did not pay at all, but promised mountains of gold. You are right that it does not matter how long the company goes, the main thing is its quality, and so, usually if the project is of high quality, then it is not necessary for it to spend a bounty company for a whole year. Usually a quality project very quickly shows the result and honestly pays its members.
2516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: July 06, 2020, 05:13:22 PM
Yes, that's what bounties these days make us. They show us big big rewards on their spreadsheets but the real values of those rewards they offer us are sometimes not even up to $5 on the market. I feel bounty hunters are only being used as baits by project owners to catch their investors virtually for free. What do you think guys ?

I agree with you. Recently, the bounty participants have a problem with getting earned tokens, and also have a very bad price for them. I myself have been participating in bounty companies for a long time, and when I see the accrual table, I see good earnings, but as soon as the time comes to pay, the tokens that I receive practically cost nothing. This is very bad and very upsetting. Perhaps it's time to switch to a cryptocurrency payout, for example, in ETH, and then the situation will be corrected.
2517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Kingcasino is The another scam project in 2020? on: July 06, 2020, 05:07:29 PM
Kingcasino is The another scam project in 2020?
Bad news for bounty hunters, yes my dear friends kingcasino is the another scam project in 2020. Because the are stop the bounty programs & they are going to refund invester money . I don't know what they doing?
But it's confirmed scam?

Unfortunately, the KingCasino platform was defeated and could not achieve success and its goal, but I do not think that it should be called fraudulent. As far as I know, the KingCasino administration promises to return money to investors and if they do, then this platform simply could not get development. Unfortunately, there are many such projects now, but if they play honestly and return the money, then they are not scammers. As for participation in the bounty, then of course it is very unfortunate that everyone who took part in this company, they again worked empty-handed. And this is very bad and undermines confidence in other bounty programs.
