2501  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: April 30, 2021, 11:43:48 AM
I never used that wallet, so I can't say if there is any possibility to increase the fee even though the transaction is marked as RBF. I found a link with a possible solution, but it would be best to open a thread in Development & Technical Discussion/Bitcoin Technical Support.

<suspicious link removed>

What a quaint website that is full of pictures of animals roaming about with words superimposed on their torsos and photographs of cakes and stories of people who missed that boat and so on and so forth.

Thanks for trying ... I guess ...
2502  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: April 29, 2021, 10:14:33 PM
Never-the-less, if you can accelerate this TX, I would appreciate it.

your fee is simply too low for the transaction to be added to this accelerator - the only logical option is to use the RBF function and increase the fee - all other paid accelerators would cost you much more.

On a Zap wallet?

How?
2503  Other / Meta / Re: [WALL OF FAME] ᗌ Save your Postcount - Milestones ᗏ on: April 29, 2021, 12:37:03 PM
A milestone of sorts - I have now posted in exactly 2,000 unique threads (it's only taken me a few week shy of eight years to reach that particular milestone).

I'm still many weeks away from 7,777 posts, then a few more weeks away from 8,000 posts.
2504  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB POKEMON CARDS (English, German) - Base Set, Fossil, Jungle - 1st Edition on: April 29, 2021, 12:31:18 PM
OK, main image shows the various piles I've been sorting through.  The second image is a pile of some of what I've got to sort through...  Third and fourth images are some of the pages of cards which I've discovered my Father has inserted three or four cards per insert on every page.

The majority of the cards are © 1999 - I'm going to have to get myself a magnifying glass to look at the various dots, stars, paws etc in various places.  There are very few 10 HP, not one 20 HP AT ALL some 30 HP (above the yellow energy cards), a large number of 40 HP (above the Purple energy), 50 HP.  Slightly less 60 HP (above the green energy cards) (moved down due to the afternoon shadow on the cards when I was trying to take the photos).  Much less 70 HP, less still 80 HP and almost no 90 HP or 100 HP cards.  The trainer cards is the largest pile at top right of image.  Even the energy cards have slight differences in the same colours - and I've only found just two grey energy while the other energy colours have dozens of cards.

Last pic is the box I'm still going through that have other sets - a truck load of Dragon Ball Z, Warlord Saga of the Storm, Magic The Gathering, DIGIMON, Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game, some Coca-Cola Collection,The Simpsons, Harry Potter Trading Card Game (all mixed in together with yet more Pokemon Cards) for some inexplicable reason) not to mention (not photographed, NRL, NFL, Australian Rules, Star Trek and Star Wars trading cards to name a few...

It might be better if you PM me a list of your wants.  I've looked on eBay and the prices are all over the place.

First selections goes to @bullrun2020bro then I'll open it up to other inquiries.  Payment in BTC and Escrow to be negotiated depending on the quantity ordered.  Postage will be from Australia with tracking.

*Note*, I will not do deals on these items on Telegram, Discord, Twitter, Facebook or any other platform.

2506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours on: April 29, 2021, 11:59:30 AM
Rabbitohs are looking safe enough now 24-32 with 5 minutes to go.

Just to rub it in - a two point field goal in the last 30 seconds of the game.  The Raiders had a try disallowed five minutes earlier, so it was definitely not the finish they were hoping for after their strong start to the match.

2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours on: April 29, 2021, 10:57:14 AM
The Rabbitohs are off to a shaky start to round eight of the NRL 2021 season:

(Half time and the Raiders are leading 16 - 14)

My picks this round are Rabbitohs, Storm, Titans, Panthers, Eels, Knights, Cowboys and Dragons.

I have a few bets in for round 8 of the NRL and looking to back the Rabbitohs against
the Raiders on Thursday but Im second guessing it because of the odds,

Raiders 3.0 - 1.45 Rabbitohs - im thinking there should be a wider margin between
both teams given their run of form and league positioning?

IIRC that's better odds than the ones over at nitrogensports.eu where I've been placing my NRL wagers for a few weeks now.

Quote
Heineken Champions Cup Semi Final between La Rochelle and Leinster, I'm waiting
to hear if Leinster's Talisman Johnny Sexton will be match ready or not before placing
a bet. If he isnt playing I would give La Rochelle a better chance.

Hopefully I'll remember to place some wagers and see if they do good.

(I've got bets on the Chiefs over the Blues and the Hurricanes over the Highlanders...)

In off topic news, a Baseball mad fan at work has put me onto The Boston Red Sox and San Francisco Giants teams who are playing every other day and so far winning more than they loose with odds between 1.5:1 and  3.5:1 - I've also put very small bets for the World Series Boston 67:1 and San Francisco 30:1

Plus if you dabble in Tennis, Ash Barty, her recent doubles partner Jennifer Brady as well as Aryna Sabalenka who Ash beat all have 15:1 odds to 35:1 odds for the French Open, US Open and Wimbledon and are my picks to put bets on this season.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This happened many months ago but still wanted to share. on: April 29, 2021, 10:01:23 AM
You've made a grand total of six posts having started three separate threads and name two and imply there is a third Casino that has ripped you off...

Isn't it time you stepped away from the computer and admit you have a gambling addiction?  The very fact you time and time again register, gamble, win (and who deposits $100 then gambles $10 at a time? - That's just ten rolls all up - you couldn't be that lucky!) then are unable to withdraw your winnings means what?  You're an idiot for not reading the fine lines when registering?

Proof, or, it never happened.
2509  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: April 29, 2021, 01:19:39 AM
Can someone help my transaction confirm? It's been stuck for a week and a half. It was sent from cashapp so am unable to pay a higher fee they won't do anything to help ugh. Pretty please

According to blockchair.com your TX is in <15kth position with >65k TX's in the mempool.  As to when it might get into a block - that's the $64k question...
2510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk statement on his Bitcoin holding on: April 29, 2021, 01:08:51 AM
I don't suppose you could post a link to the original tweet?  Most people at the moment have the classic FOMO surrounding bitcoin and crypto in general.  Bitcoin and altcoins to a large extent were created as a means to make electronic transfers / payments securely via a one way system with the block-chain / ledger as proof of that payment.

It's a technicality to say "Tesla" sold the bitcoins after it's owner/creator talked up the price.  It's another thing entirely to hold coins just for the sake of HODLing them as he is doing.  After all, there was a price surge a couple of years ago when ransomware demanded payment in bitcoin prompting companies to go out and buy BTC on spec just in case they were attacked.

I wonder how many & where those coins are now?
2511  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 29, 2021, 01:00:31 AM
Are you sure there are actually profits in Tesla's bottom line?  Or, is it just that the price of bitcoin has risen and (on paper) the market capitalisation of those coins makes it appear as though Tesla is doing fine?  If I had funds to invest in bricks and mortar stocks, I *might* invest in Tesla, but it wouldn't be the only stock I invest in.
2512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie warning on: April 29, 2021, 12:57:36 AM
I've said elsewhere that when I first joined the forum I would read threads, find something to write about, log in and post, log out, then read some more.

As it is, being a newbie you have to wait five or six minutes between posts, so you may as well find something interesting to read about while you're waiting.
2513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: April 29, 2021, 12:55:28 AM
If the majority of people are looking to cash-out when bitcoin reaches $1M then that would jolt the price back down and people might panic sell.  I think people would be better off setting a realistic set of sale points - If they originally bough a whole bitcoin with the aim of selling it once the $1M finish line is reached, then spread the sales out over a few weeks, perhaps 25% (or a number down to 10%) of your holdings at any one time.
2514  Economy / Services / Re: Free BTC transaction accelerator! on: April 29, 2021, 12:45:27 AM
I've actually been trying the ViaBTC portal for a while now.  This transaction https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/bb128bd08a78bb985a6fb40b78b822c484a58ba0bbc6fa6fd540565d52e1d022 has been stuck for quite a while (I'd intended to make it 10 sats, but inadvertently set it to one sat, hence it has been in TX limbo ever since.  The funds are going from one Zap LN wallet to another and unfortunately there is no mechanism to CPFP or zaptransaction or similar.

Never-the-less, if you can accelerate this TX, I would appreciate it.
2515  Other / Off-topic / Re: Embrace the Boobies on: April 28, 2021, 11:25:27 AM
Thread archived for future reference:  Archive [1a], [1b]

I don't know about any international boob day but there is a International Grab a Boob day which is more interesting as it focus on grabbing boobs. Wink
This day is celebrated on 3rd of May.

I call out you're suggestion to sexually assault others for what it is.  No one should have to suffer the indignity of being molested just because you think it'd be funny to grope another person.

You need to do the right thing and apologise for your comments, then lock this thread.
2516  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] FreeBitco.in Signature Campaign | Sr./Hero/Legendary | on: April 28, 2021, 03:49:53 AM
I've been here since day 1 up to week 59 and I am thankful for Freebitco.in and Hhampuz to be part of this amazing campaign. I am leaving this campaign now, thank you once again.

The funny thing is I'm more inclined to stay put in the SigCamp for the very reason there are benefits such as the affiliate links in the signature enabling users to build a base of extra sats (especially if a user is a high roller).  Then there's the FUN token and the extra free rolls that go with it.  Definately worth buying into.

Hope you're successful in your new venture @rhomelmabini
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: April 28, 2021, 03:45:01 AM
Not having seen any of the contenders, I just took a punt with the names as put in the OP - Of the ones I picked, I was only able to guess Best Director ( Chloe Zhao ) even then I was split between two nominees.  The other being Emerald Fennell.

@justme_gamblin You are not fooling anyone by making a newbie account to spread the same lies and sling the same mud you just did in your real account. Unlike your unsubstantiated bullshit the allegations against you come with evidence of criminal activity on your part:
[Flag] - "broke_tradah" installing hidden backdoor.

I think people should go that one step further and also DT distrust these users via the [Link] then placing

Code:
~justme_gamblin
~broke_tradah

as there is evidence they are attempting to build a default trust via their various alts.
2519  Economy / Reputation / Re: The user "amonymous" stealing other's works (Plagiarism) on: April 28, 2021, 01:13:20 AM
Didn't Twitter become a multi billion dollar company from people re-copying each other's useless short posts? It's one of the reasons I don't like the site.

If you are referring to the "retweet" feature then it might interest you to know that "retweets" attribute the original poster of the tweet, so there isn't any confusion as to whether or not a person has made the post, or copied it (unless of course the second person copies the text of the first and does not attribute - that probably counts as plagiarism unless the context goes along the lines of "I read a tweet that said..."
2520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is coin or token burning? on: April 27, 2021, 03:29:28 AM
There's a certain irony that tokens and coins that felt the need to create billions, or even trillions of coins are now looking to burn coins to make that coin seem more desirable at the same time as investors in bitcoin lament the fact that only 21 million coins will ever be generated.

DOGE COIN is probably the exception at this pint with its price mooning all the while not having (AFAIK) burned any coins - ever - even though it has billions on the books.
