2501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 20-Aug-2018] on: August 21, 2018, 05:16:19 PM
I am not unresponsive, I only reply to those who gets selected in the campaign. Since there is still a spot open for Hero/Legendary, I occasionally check all the users who apply for that spot but still haven't find one with good post quality.

It's not up to me whether there is an asterisk or not but maybe just posting something like "all outstanding applications denied" occasionally would reassure people that they have been looked at.

You guys are missing my point.  Roll Eyes

Ironic as I was trying to point out that you're missing my point.

until things goes back to normal. I know Wetsuit will find a way to get rid of these

cheaters and we will get a chance to hit one of the 10 winning positions. (not just 2 or 3, like it is now)  Roll Eyes

Things are back to normal. Look at the number of lottery tickets so far and extrapolate the number out for the week and you'll get ~450 million. That's where we were before the bots started exploiting it.

It is up to you whether you gamble and play lotteries or not but the bot problem is dealt with.

May I know why you market YoloDice campaign with red. What are the issues regarding it??

This was answered just above.

Reason for red asterisk was unresponsiveness of Paractor (still is quite unresponsive in a way that he says they are open but doesn't really take participants in/doesn't reply to applications) and his ban evasion which he later on admitted here:
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single Bet Roulette Strategy on: August 21, 2018, 04:03:47 PM
There are two ways to win at the game of roulette and both of them require a huge amount of practice and dedication, the most known method involves playing in a biased roulette, basically you need to find a roulette that is not as random as it should and in which certain numbers appear more often than they should.

But how do you find a roulette like that? The process is simple but tedious, you need to write down tens of thousands of results for that particular roulette and then calculate the real probabilities of each number appearing and comparing it with the estimated probability and the odds, once you find a roulette where certain numbers appear more often the strategy is simple, keep betting those numbers during all session.

I was almost certain that was a copy paste from something. Firstly because you start off by saying there are two ways and then only talk about one as if you left the rest of the plagiarised article out. Secondly because it is about physical roulette wheels and has no relevance here. Provably fair roulette cannot have a bias to certain numbers.
2505  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 20-Aug-2018] on: August 21, 2018, 02:44:41 PM
Why do signature campaigns after the merit system was introduced hardly ( actually totally ? ) Ignore jr. members ?
I know before the merit system there were plenty of campaigns that recruited jr . members , so why not now ?

Because at the same time that the Merit system was brought in Jr. Members signatures were reduced in size and had the ability to include clickable links removed. That was meant to mean only people that make Merit worthy posts would be able to get into signature campaigns. It worked on the Bitcoin paying campaigns but the scammy ICO token campaigns carried on.
2506  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 21, 2018, 12:40:23 PM
Look above.

I did and your comment was obviously directed at 2 specific people.

I'm not sure. He doesn't seem as good as darkstar_ based on some people he accepts into campaigns that aren't that great.

He doesn't have the same budget to attract the best people but I've seen enough to know he cares about quality. I'm just hoping BTCEvo will take note of my request for him to stop making pointless posts in this thread and then I won't have to bring it up.

You're not attracting many new members anymore then, just what we need with the revamp Smiley.

I'm not sure how you reached that conclusion but the opposite is true. The numbers on how much new accounts wager is particularly good recently, even before the wagering contest started.

So are you or aren't you getting ready for the new launch, when can we expect this?

The last estimate was around the end of the year. I honestly think that has probably slipped a bit as we pretty much lost the last 2 months to antibot work

No. You'll follow forum rules and allow for users to offer you constructive criticism where they feel it necessary. Whether you follow that criticism however is up to you.

Normally your management of this thread is good, it's just a copuld of posts that looks a bit like it could do with some consideration before posting.

I am following the rules and you can report my posts if you think I'm not. I've never objected to constructive criticism. It's the repetitive nature of BTCEvo making the same points, again and again, every week that I've had enough of.

Thank you for your advice on my posting but I really think I've got a pretty good handle on it.
2507  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 21, 2018, 12:21:15 PM
help me

Read what you just quoted, the answer is there.
2508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Active Casino/Dice Sites Accepting BTC on: August 21, 2018, 12:17:08 PM
I meant browsing through their website or their ANN thread tells me that you can't invest in their bankroll, sorry.

Either way, thank you for notifying me about this, I'll do some more digging!

OK, now I see the confusion. It was temporarily suspended for all coins but they opened it up again.

Since the poll showed us Stellar and Bitcoin Cash are on top of the list, we'll add both!  Cheesy

Firstly we'll add Bitcoin Cash and then Stellar. Should take less then a month to have both listed  Tongue

BTW: Investments are again open!  Wink
2509  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 21, 2018, 12:08:54 PM
Not sure I was mentioning anyone specific there... It's a much more general thing that you should ALL improve how you're posting.

You just quoted and replied to an exchange between 2 people.

This thread is becoming really crap, I'm trying to just read stuff and not post here but when we get the back and forth as bad as this I wonder why either of you felt your posts in anyway useful.

That seemed very specific.

They probably won't care, it's a gambling thread, as long as he is in support of there's then they're happy. And if they stop him from advertising them, he'll start spamming there.

yahoo62278 seems to be a good campaign manager and I'm wondering if I showed him the repetitive nature of the posts and that he's nearly always replying to something that has always been answered if he might think it didn't meet this requirement.

Posts must be constructive and on topic

The bots haven't been fully stopped and probably never will.

Of course bot control is an ongoing process. Have a look at the number of tickets in this weeks lottery and extrapolate it out to full week and you'll see that we are back to ~450 million which is where it was before the bots started targetting it. They only started doing that because we successfully made extremely difficult for them to get to minimum withdrawal before being detected.

I've put a lot of work into this with wetsuit and I'm pretty pleased with how it is going right now.

Does this mean though that there will be more work on bringing out the new site and the exchange that wetsuit was hoping for?

All the time that we spend on bots is time we could better use to get on with this.

Huh

Huh?

Just a polite reminder of what you're both supposed to be doing here.

Just a polite expression meant to mean I'll take advice as to what I'm supposed to be doing here from wetsuit alone.
2510  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Active Casino/Dice Sites Accepting BTC on: August 21, 2018, 11:38:56 AM
The list got a minor facelift by adding two new columns. "Alts Accepted" & "Invest" to show which casinos allows you to invest in their bankroll and what sort of alts they accept.

You can invest in the bankroll at Crypto-Games. Only the BTC and ETH bankrolls are closed to new investors at the moment.

Hmm, are you sure? Browsing through the website or their ANN thread here tells me that you can invest.. If you got a link or some more information I'll change it in the OP straight away Smiley

That's my point. You have a 'No' in the invest column.

I'm not able to find anywhere that tells you that BTC and ETH are currently only available to existing and previous investors but on the site I can assure you that is the case.
2511  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 21, 2018, 11:29:51 AM

BTCEvo does it as part of his weekly signature spamming routine. He's been targeting this and other gambling service threads as long as I can remember. I have asked him to stop a couple of times and I'm mulling over whether or not to ask his campaign manager to intervene.
I'm doing my job in pointing out how silly his comments are and trying to bring attention to the important point which is that we've stopped the bots exploiting the lottery which gives genuine users a better chance. Unfortunately, BTCEvo chose to come along and reply to a post that had already been answered and he had nothing of interest to add.

General guidelines: before posting, reread what you have put to see if it makes sense and that it's actually worthwhile to post.

 Huh
2512  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: August 21, 2018, 10:57:18 AM
I do not think that is what he meant,

 Roll Eyes

of course there is no guarantee for a lottery games

Which is why it was a silly thing to say. There is no guarantee in any form of gambling.

and yes, the chance to hit it almost impossible with just claiming faucet. The only way is to wager a lot and get tons of tickets to make it possible.

Wrong. Every ticket has exactly the same chance of winning no matter how it is acquired. Some people have won from the faucet tickets in the past. Others have deposited and bought tickets.

But on his case, he do not want to wager, he just want to use his money on something else, not for gambling of course

Which is a pointless thing to say in a gambling thread.

Many people want to be luck but they just do not want to boost their own luck, so they will never get it for sure

F' knows what that is supposed to mean but I guess you have to pad your spam out a bit for your campaign. How many more posts do you need on gambling boards this week?

Then I decided to play VIDEO POKER and I hit 4 of a Kind from the third try!

It was for the first time in my life that I hit 4 of a Kind in VIDEO POKER. A Lucky day for me, and I hope it will be a lucky day for you too.

You hit four 7s, that's got to be a sign! Go jackpot hunting  Grin
2514  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, many community suggestions but silence from your side.[Answerd] on: August 21, 2018, 09:54:22 AM
I personally have stopped reporting newbies and juniors, tiring process with a time being non-existent solution, threads getting thrashed/locked are way more worth to put time and effort into.

That's a shame. I wondered why your reports had stopped coming in. I'd hoped that you'd just either found them all or the bots got the idea and realised it wasn't worth it. Sadly, there's probably hundreds that are still going that will now evade detection, but this is yet another reason why there should either be a merit requirement for Juniors and/or their signatures removed completely. I understand why you've stopped as even I have been contemplating not handling reports on copy bots and not banning them as a protest until things have changed. You literally cannot win a war against someone using a bot to farm unlimited accounts because it's just like playing whack a mole with ghosts. As long as they can get paid as Juniors then they will continue to farm accounts this way because it is easy money and costs them nothing to do so. Even if we ban 100 of them there could be thousands more still earning and that needs to change. Campaigns need to be forced to stop accepting them and the only way we can do that is to remove their signatures.

I've found a lot less copy past bots recently as they have mostly switched to spinning which takes a lot longer to find where they copied from. After seeing theymos' response in your suggestion thread it seems the things that would actually stop bots are very unlikely to happen. I don't think I'll wast any more time reporting them as you're right that we can't win just by banning them if they can just start again. While that financial incentive is in place there will just be more and more of them coming.

It seems you really like copy/pasting other people's posts.

I hope you used the report to moderator button on those.

I know !! I'm writing through an interpreter in English !!! so I can not understand a lot.32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.I can not understand it!as this???

It means you can't post 3 times in a row like you did above.

It is also far less important than the ban evasion rule. You are banned from the forum as a person, not just that account. So log out and leave the forum now.
you do not tell me !!! I know that I can sit in the meta branch! and appeal the blocking! this is you go from here!

Your appeal doesn't stand a chance so you're done here. Goodbye.

This does only apply to people using their bank in japan to fund their account (https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000427883).
But not from outside of japan.

But nonetheless, kraken does not offer GBP withdrawals unfortunately. EUR wire withdrawals are available for a fee of 0.09 €.

Ah, I missed that bit about Japan.

It's always been a problem in the UK that the exchanges can't get a local bank account because of the regulators clamping down on the banks. It'll be interesting to see how it goes with Coinbase as they roll it out. I usually have a look around every few months for new options but I've always ended up going back to LocalBitcoins because it is the best deal for any trade in the few hundred pounds range.

Let me help you with reading the rules as it seems to be beyond your ability level.

Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]
~
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

You've admitted to being banned so this account of yours should also be banned.
