2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stable coins take control of Bitcoin as crypto adoption in the future? on: June 27, 2021, 09:18:40 PM
Although it may possible but I think it won't happen. Because we all know how Bit coin behave in the market. Whenever Bitcoin swing, everybody's coins are almost affected. Stable coins are stable and cannot give much excitement and x20 profit in my point of view.
From a trader's point of view, I guess stable coins don't offer much because the price like you said is stable and bring no value in holding them for longer periods.

But from a service provider or marketplace point of view, I guess stable coins can easily take over the market because a lot of service providers I talk to, often tell me that they don't accept crypto because of the price volatility and with stable coins they can easily accept crypto while not even worrying about price swings at all.

Earlier most of my trades used to happen in the altcoins/BTC market but now I usually trade in altcoins/USDT and BTC/USDT so indeed stable coins are useful but not from a holder's point of view but as a payment option.
2502  Economy / Economics / Re: Amateur Traders Cause Bubbles on: June 27, 2021, 08:50:03 PM
Amateur traders usually go down to the well with the rope of others. Most of them listen others whisper to buy or sell. So others shitty ideas becomes theirs bubbles. When the shitty bubbles burst they learn painfully what they must to do.
Bubble, as someone explained quite nicely in another thread, is a price that is not justified, either too high or too low and I tend to agree with that. Amateur traders just trade without actually knowing why they are buying or selling which causes bubbles in the market. Imagine if a market has 150 traders and 100 fools are copying a single fool who is selling his coins, then a bubble is created because the price is down and unjustified then.

I always think that traders without knowledge and lack of understanding are also the reason behind this volatile market since they will not seek value with their investment, they only ride the bear and bull waves. A lot of whales and groups eat alive such traders because they create hype in the market and let these amateur traders buy it, then they will dump it. Almost all the meme coins are surviving and operating on this model.
2503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitstarz.com legit? on: June 27, 2021, 08:18:41 PM
Since we have mixed reaction about this thread to avoid been a victim it's wiser you neglect the advert or go with a very little investment plan to check for your self how legit the site is then you can decide from the outcome if you would stick with them or look for an alternative
It's a thread from 2-3 years ago and I think you mistakenly bumped it.

Since some players might wonder if they are scammers or not, please DO NOT visit or deposit money into the casino because they are scammers by the looks of it.

Look at their feedback page and you will see the number of complaints against them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=307265

I usually want to give the benefit of the doubt to the casino but here it's pretty obvious they are scammers and this thread was before the feedback were left so I hope OP didn't get scammed by the casino.
2504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk made tweet about animal coin again. Time to buy doge and Shiba Inu? on: June 27, 2021, 07:08:18 PM
i don't think this tweets on Shiba Inu will work out in the second time. Remembering those time the behavior of bitcoin goes crazy and that tweets being published in different social media and articles gives significant to others, making it the meme dogecoin rose its value in the market.
Not sure if it will work or not because I don't even read his tweets now neither I follow shib token's price. One thing though, he made a strange tweet some time ago and people pumped an unknown coin I guess its name was something CumRocket and that shows people still react based on what he tweets, sometimes even anticipate, hope that stops soon.

I have already invested into dogecoins after lots of tweets from Elon hence I will not be ready to risk any more because of his tweets. I'm not having any short-term target for dogecoins so I might be having more time to see my investments to grow but as of now it seems Elon is switching over to other things which is not good for people like me.
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why meme coin is crashing on: June 27, 2021, 05:50:16 PM
My simple answer for this is, simply because they are "MEME" coin and meme project, there is no serious matter, driven by hype and popularity, for short period, not stable and not sustainable because they are "MEME".
Indeed  , as the meme is simple ,

thus no much risk to join the airdrop to the tadp and other airdrops
There's neither risk nor a problem claiming some free coins but think about it. You are usually asked to make some tweets or post about them to claim those tokens and the time you spent in doing so, is always worth money!

Coming to the topic, why meme coins are crashing? because they were always meant to crash, once the fake support and shilling are not continued. They are called meme coins for a reason and that reason is, they don't offer any value nor any solution to the market. Any coin or token that solves a problem is not a meme coin but any coin that is made without a real purpose or reason, is usually a meme coin.
2506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right time is now! on: June 26, 2021, 08:03:02 PM
We have been yelling for the right time all this while but we still wanna miss some quality opportunities banging on our door step, don't be surprised what will happen next and many will still say "where were me" when i gat all the chance to buy.
This has been suggested at least for thousand times so far across this forum: for buying and holding reputed coins and tokens, all the times are very good to get in. For bitcoin definitely the current price levels are very good opportunity with the long-term holding plans. If you are an active trader and are looking for short-term trading then definitely you must need to stay away from the crypto space right now because anything may happen in the future but in long run definitely you can get into big profits so buying and holding will be the only option right now.

I'm not having any specific suggestion to buy right now but anyone can simply go with highly reputed and well known coins and tokens for accumulation with long-term plans.
2507  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Passive Income - My Experience on: June 26, 2021, 07:45:47 PM
How would they get experience if you don't recommend farming? Also to OP, is cloud mining still a thing? Pretty sure that it is a scam that has been proven a long time ago, for me staking and bankroll investing is a good way to make some decent money without having to stretch my muscles.
If you could put some light on bankroll investing it might help me and some other fellow members because bankroll is usually the word gamblers use to represent their balance and I am not sure how one can invest his bankroll to earn money. If you mean by investing into casino's bankroll, I would say it is one of the riskiest ways of earning money because there have been quite a few scams in past and the last one I remember which allowed players to invest and ran away with funds was dicebitco(dot)in (pardon me, if I am wrong please) so I would be very careful with such things.

Cloud mining like you said is a thing of the past and no genuine portals allow it anymore. If anyone is not aware you can go to the lending section of this forum and give out loans but make sure you have good knowledge of what is valid collateral because borrowers will try and trick you through multiple ways.
2508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: June 26, 2021, 06:54:25 PM
Every place needs new games constantly to keep up with the competition, plus it would be good to have a good promotion at the start to attract more people as well (or keep the current ones happy) because after all there are waaaay too many places in the crypto casino world and the competition is fierce and everyone is offering something to people to get them, it is a bit unfair to the ones that do not have a good amount of capital, but that is just business I suppose.

Chips is definitely not at the bottom of that list, it is at the very top with only handful of places if you ask me, guaranteed top 10 casino in all of crypto (for me) but I get the improvements and additions because if you let chips be like this for 5 years, after 5 years it will not be in top 10, hence the games, but do not forget marketing, I would love to see some promotions for the crash game.
That constant competition and the required improvements in order to stay ahead is the reason why free market was created, as long as there is anything illegal, this should be what it is about.

Not amazon destroying every small business around and trying to be the only place, even stealing the ideas of small business that lists products on their own website and make it cheaper and sell and ruin others, that is not free market that is horrible business that is greedy.

Look at here, chips keeps improving, other dice sites do, casinos do, sportsbets do, poker places do, everywhere improves and that is only because they are caring about the customer and want to provide the best and be the one that is loved the most for us. Chips is doing it very well and I am sure the promotions will come in bulk very soon as well to promote all the new stuff as well.
2509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 26, 2021, 06:19:18 PM
Y'all going in now or what?!

28k was a good price to go in, relative to where it is now. Meaning, you know it was good when you've long passed it and you're looking down at it. But what'ch'y'all think? Still a good time? Tempted to go all in, not gonna lie.
This game is never an easy one to play. Not everyone can do this type of investment, because it’s not so easy. This is a very risky thing for anyone to do. So anyone that plans to be cryptocurrency trader has to prepare themselves for the risk ahead. You have to plan at the right time and invest. When the price crashed in 2020  it was repeatedly being said that then was the best time for everyone to start buying and some people never took that opportunity, maybe because they felt it was over for bitcoin or they thought that the price was still going to decrease further.
2510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk Management in trading cryptocurrencies ...?? on: June 26, 2021, 05:27:40 PM
I read from a twitter thread and from some blog that we should took trade by risking 3-5 % of our capital per trade. So you can protect your ccapital.

But in Cryptocurrency Market i realized that when btc pump or dump 95% alts gona dump, So i can maintain this Risk mananegemnt to protect my capital.
Yes, altcoins go down harder when Bitcoin goes down. And the thing is because Bitcoin is more stable than most of them. For that reason, when the market starts becoming bearish, a lot of altcoins traders sells their coins to invest in Bitcoin. That’s the same thing when Bitcoin’s value increases, some altcoins can increase more than Bitcoin.

A lot of them are easily manipulated, because they don’t have a large market cap like Bitcoin, so they won’t be as much stable, that’s why they will have much bigger increase. It’s just like what happened with Dogecoin this year, that’s a good example.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recognizing Gambling Disorders, Symptoms of Severe Gambling Addiction on: June 25, 2021, 09:37:00 PM
Those are some of the most accurate points I have ever read about a gambler's mentality. I have been for some reason among gamblers all the time, be it online or offline and somehow despite most of them being close to me and have a gambling problem, I have managed to remain clean and not gamble more than a few times a week.

2. Or risk the friendship to fall apart by suggesting him to go to a psychiatrist, because because in my place people who go to a psychiatrist are identical to people who have mental disorders.
If you actually care for the person, you should choose this option because it might destroy your relation for the time being but once he realizes how much of a help you did without caring for yourself, the relation will have even more depth than before.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 25, 2021, 08:54:13 PM
Not sure about the duration of his contract, but Bayern Munich has become more careful when it comes to signing players that are injured frequently. Robben was an exception to the rule and he delivered even though he was injured very often. Thiago was injured quite a lot in the beginning as well but made it in the end an turned into an important piece of the puzzle.

I see Hazard as kind of being an offensive version of Thiago. Hazard can slow down and speed up the game at will. That's what Bayern Munich likes. Would be cool to see him in Munich, but of what help is he if he is constantly injured. Maybe the doctors in Munich are better for him than those in Munich. Müller Wohlfahrt, also the doctor of Usain Bolt, might be able to keep him healthy for a longer period of time.
It all comes down to the price, if he is given for a cheap price then Bayern wouldn't hesitate to buy him in a second, he would definitely do that. Dortmund on the other hand, if they could actually sell Haaland for anything close to 170 million like they say they want, getting Hazard would not be a problem at all, I am sure if you offer 70-80 million for Hazard and Real would accept it, that leaves almost 100 million as well and we are talking about Sancho as a possibility for United as well, which would once again clear ALL the money from Haaland as to be used because Sancho could be one to one price equal to Hazard.

All of which shows Dortmund could be very very active in the transfer market and could get Hazard as the number one deal because he is both a star that could cover the difference that they will lose, but also he has his brother there.
2513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recognizing Gambling Disorders, Symptoms of Severe Gambling Addiction on: June 25, 2021, 08:01:31 PM
a person involved must have at least 4-6 of those behavior before categorizing as having a gambling disorder .

because all of those are normal attitude of gambler if they only have 1 o- 3 of those.

i admit that some of the mentioned i have in gambling but not literally mean that i will admit having disorder because i can still manage to control myself when it comes to gambling.
It also depends on which symptoms exist to determine whether a gambler is severely addicted or not.

I guess someone who feels the urge to gambling in his free time cannot be classified as an addicted gambler because we all have an interest towards a particular activity and gambling might be one of them especially for someone who is sort of an introvert. There is no problem in gambling when you are bored, in fact gambling is basically meant to be a time killer and a fun activity.

Some symptoms like cheating others to gamble might be a warning indeed and one needs to visit a psychologist if they are actually cheating or stealing money to gamble, whatever their intention might be.
2514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 24, 2021, 08:32:11 PM
People are overreacting like Hawks are some magical team and Bucks sucks so bad. First of all Nets were leading as well and Bucks still managed to win that series, secondly Hawks is not magical, they won against Sixers as well, they are a good team that people are underrating and that's it, they were good all year and they are still good. This doesn't mean that Bucks will lose or Hawks will lose, it is a series and the game ended with just one three point difference and could have been closed.

Long story short this is a very close series, one side has superstar Giannis that can score inside and a very big threat, the otherside has Trae that can score and he can also distribute the ball well. So long story short we are talking about equal powers fighting and it will be close series, I am not expecting any team to win in 5 or something like that.
2515  Economy / Economics / Re: The trend of prices is still upward, any hope for downward? on: June 24, 2021, 08:00:41 AM
The current increament in the cost of commodities in the market is alarming bad yet the majorities who are representative of the minorities (politicians) seem to pay less concerned.
This increament before now was tag to be as a result of Covid 19 which interrupted importation and exportation of good and services.
It is expected that with the decrease in the Covid 19 spread I thought their will be a corresponding decrease in prices of price the reverse is the case.
I get what you’re saying. This is how it has been in my country, the price of things has been very high. It’s even hard for people to afford food to eat these days, because when you go to the market to buy food to cook, you will notice that everything has increased in price. So everyone is just trying to manage with the little they have.

I do ask myself this same question, whether the price of things will get better anytime soon, because it’s really bad. I am not happy with the situation this COVID-19 left us in, and nobody is happy about that, looking at how worse things has gotten. The government is not even doing anything about it, they don’t care about the people.
2516  Economy / Economics / Re: If we have crypto Why people still buy stocks? on: June 22, 2021, 03:23:39 PM
Why people still buy stocks?
If with crypto much bigger profits *
3% daily gain is nothing If you can get 100% profit with Good coins pump.
How the Hell people Even get rich with stocks with so small profits?
Before you even say that don’t forget that stocks has been around before cryptocurrency, and there are also people who got rich by investing their money in stocks. So, it’s not like cryptocurrency is the only thing that can make us rich, although it is volatile and can increase more and give profit more than stocks. Then another reason why a lot of people are still investing in stocks is because stocks can be more trusted since it is an old asset type, so people believe that they are not taking much risk of being scammed.

Finally think everyone is entitled to whatever they want to invest their money in, be it cryptocurrency or stocks, they are free to go ahead with anyone that works best for them.
2517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be Prepared for the big dump. on: June 21, 2021, 09:09:33 PM
those who invest in crypto should do it for fun, with the premise of having an experience and having spent money for it.
For fun? Honestly I am first time hearing such a suggestion still I agree with you because even bitcoin core developers themselves do call bitcoin as an experimental yet interesting project hence risking at your affordable level will help you in many ways. All the above I am not sure about upcoming dump because I do see there are big chances for upcoming stronger bullish trend.

the risk is truly enormous and patience is a virtue for a few
I believe patience will help all the investors of crypto world because in long term almost all the coins and tokens are known for getting us good profits.

2518  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 21, 2021, 07:24:41 PM
I have to say if you are gambling for 474k that means you turned gambling into a life style and not just a hobby. I personally do not gamble that frequently, sometimes I go weeks without gambling ever, and sometimes I just gamble for few days straight, it is not always the same.

However the biggest bet I have ever done in my entire life was 400 dollars and that was because I won more from some other bets and garnered a lot of money (around 1400 dollars) all the way from my 50 dollar deposit, I felt lucky and just wanted to withdraw my winnings and did a last bet just for fun, won that one too and withdrew 1500 dollars total (and kept about 80 bucks in to continue gambling), that means this guy wagered about a thousand times more money than my biggest bet ever and we do not even know if this is his biggest bet ever neither maybe he has bigger bets in history who knows.
2519  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the ideal price difference that people use to arbitrage bitcoin? on: June 21, 2021, 06:22:02 PM
From 1.3% to 1.7% can be good because you can wait for liquidation for margin trades that will happen many times within a day.

I can not say how much the difference is in price as it depends on price of Bitcoin. With Bitcoin price around $35,660, differences from $460 to $600 are good to trade.
Do you have any explanation to justify your statement of 1.3% yo 1.7% because I believe this seems like too narrow differences and market may get converge before you try to catch the price gaps.

Moreover, I don't think there is any chance of arbitraging bitcoin nowadays because almost every exchange has the same price so it only exists and that too narrowly in the altcoins market. There are several bots in the market that serve the same purpose and might be worth testing these things with a free bot first.
2520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fear : The Debacle of a Trader on: June 21, 2021, 11:50:22 AM
And fear of taking a risk.

With so much fear associated while trading, fear of taking a risk is one of those emotions that cant be prevented. Especially when you are at profits but you are afraid to take the risk and doesnt believe on your own instinct and turn against the risk. Remember that a risk taker succeeds in trading.
Not every risk-taker survives in this highly volatile and untrusted market. I called it untrusted not because I think bitcoin will die but because any coin can be listed at any exchange and it might or might not have a good future so due diligence is crucial in the crypto market and taking calculated risks is the right way of approaching and investing/trading new and unknown coins.

I would even say that having fear can sometimes benefit you because it prevents you from taking unwanted risks. As a trader risks must be based on analyses and not luck or feelings and once you have analyzed a particular coin in depth, you will either have full confidence investing in it or you will just know that the money is not coming back ever if I invest in this coin.
