2501  Local / India / Re: What payment processor are being used globally? on: September 25, 2022, 05:33:32 AM
The answer is simple: Due to volatility.
This is why Tesla and other big conglomerates stopped accepting cryptos. When your business runs on slim margins then can't afford to accept a currency whose price fluctuates every second, thus messing up the revenue and projections.

We do have stable coins, but they all come with a shadow of doubt. No wall street company is going to endorse a stable coin. They can endorse Bitcoin or ETH itself. But again, the problem will stay: Volatility.
In my opinion there are mainly two reasons. The first one you have correctly stated volatility. The second one according to me is unable to handle large volume of transactions. There are some crypto that claim that they can but they haven't been tested on a nationwide level.

Whereas most payment processors have invested huge funds in maintaining and improving their ecosystem and therefore they are able to handle as well as process millions of transactions per second. I am sure in the future these payment processor would get stiff competition from one of the cryptocurrency.

India VS Australia

The last and the decider T20 match will be played today. Since, match will be played in Hyderabad it will not get interrupted due to rain. India would love to win this series but the issue with them is that they are struggling with their middle order. If it was not for Rohit Sharma in the last match then India would have been in trouble. I do not think there would be nay changes in the team for today's match.
2503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 25, 2022, 03:01:37 AM

Anyway, the Indian team performed exceptionally well in England. After giving a good fight in the T20 series, they managed to whitewash England 3-0 in the ODI series. England opted to go with a younger squad this time, and it didn't worked well for them.

The ending of the match was tormenting for the English side. They never expected the match to end this way. Charlotte Dean was recorded crying when she got out. I do not support what Deepti Sharma did but it is the new law and the out was therefore justified by the third umpire. I also feel that a couple of balls by Deepti would have eventually got the last batter.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 25, 2022, 12:47:29 AM
I never expected the Indian side to win after their batting collapsed. 169 was an easy target to chase in an ODI but the Indian bowlers did a commendable job yesterday. On the field there were some brilliant catches by Deol and Goswami. This was Goswami's last ODI as she has retired from the format. The legendary bowler did took a couple of wickets before retiring. Thakur as usual was at her best. Great performance by the girls and a complete whitewash.

India VS England (women)
The last match of this ODI series has already started. England won the toss and choose to bowl first. India has already lost 2 wickets for just 15 runs. Mandana is still batting at the moment and I hope she scores more than 50 runs. England would be desperate to win this match as they have already lost the series.
England women's team kept them under pressure from the beginning to the last finishing of the match. As a result, India women's team failed to score good. India lost all wickets for just 169 runs. Beating to England Women's team with such a small score is not an easy task. But everything is possible in cricket. Let's see how far the India women's team can run towards that goal.
There is no consistent performance from the India Women team. After a big win in the previous match, now scoring 169 runs doesn't look to be a fair game from the Indian Women cricketers. This is why India team wasn't able to win against the teams like Australia, New Zealand.
I do agree with you. Indian girls sometimes do show they are lazy in a match but, it doesn't mean anything now. As they have already won the series. If they do lose this match it would mean nothing.

As a teenager I only played once with the opponent team and if we as a team had won then it was the end of story. But, now when the series are best of three. It is good when they won the series rather going for a whitewash.

Also I want to see a good inning from Virat Kohli in this match. In the first match, he was completely unsuccessful.
I don't think he will be in his best today. The problem is that he has become very inconsistent. Mohali was a batters paradise. KL Rahul was struggling in Asia cup and suddenly he was timing the ball and was doing what he was meant to do. Kholi was not able to do the same as after the Asia cup he again became over confident. He is not the same player anymore as we knew him him. He is more concentrated with other activities than improving his form. I am again not expecting him to do wonders. In my opinion he has become a liability for BCCI and most probably he will get chucked out of the team after T20WC, if he still goes on like this.

India VS Australia

The second T20 match in this series will be played today. It is a must-win match for India if they want to stay in this series. In the last match, Rohit Sharma blamed the bowlers for the humiliating defeat and I completely agree with him. Bhumrah will be playing in today's match and I am not expecting any miracle from him but he would certainly give a boost to the current bowling line up.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 23, 2022, 08:03:36 AM
I would advise people to give the Indian women cricket team some more time, and not burden them with unnecessary expectations because they’ll need more exposure to perform or even outperform their male counterparts. Furthermore I feel that WIPL will be a huge success, and it’ll totally change Indian woman's cricket team performance’s and I hope that BCCI will not delay it now and launch it soon.

When you see the men's cricket team getting defeated in every tournament and suddenly the women's team starts winning international series obviously the expectation from them would go high. I never expected them to play so well in this international ODI series after their defeat in the T20 series. WIPL success largely depends on the performance of this women's team and at the moment they are flying high.

Looking at the site, you”ll see the matches right away and it’s really good to have a site that focuses more on the Esports. This site looks interesting, I’ve been following the Esports recently since I’m a player too, and having this site can help me think if I’m going to place a bet or not. Any chance to add other crypto as an option? I also suggest to have a marketing campaign here which can boost this site.

Yes, this site is focused on esports, and I have not seen others concentrate on the same. One of the primary reasons is esports is not followed by many. I also do not follow it and I was expecting that they might have something on sports. The only feature that I like here is no KYC.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 22, 2022, 10:15:40 AM
I agree it is all about team performance and not about an Individual player's performance but when an individual does not perform how will the team then? I also agree a score of 208 was defendable but Indian bowlers were pathetic. For example, Bhuvi gave 52 runs and Yadav gave 27 runs. If you add them, then it is 88 runs just given away. Then you have zero contribution by Kohli with his bat. India reached 208 only because Pandya hit three sixes. So, individual performance does matter when you are judging a team's performance.

I don't know what was going through the mind of Virat Kohli. In a match where both the sides were scoring at a rate of more than 10 runs per over, Virat Kohli had a strike rate of 28.50! He scored a total of 2 runs from 7 balls, before getting out to Nathan Ellis. Some other batsmen could have easily scored 10-15 runs from that many balls and if so, the outcome of the match could have been different (Australia won the match with just 4 balls to spare). And Rohit Sharma was only slightly better than Kohli. He scored 11 from 9 balls.
Yes, Rohit Sharma was slightly better than Virat Kohli but I won't say he is not out of form or has captaincy pressure. It was just another day when he choose the wrong shot to play but Virat Kohli has been consistently out of form from 2019. In Asia cup he took a lot of time to settle before scoring some good runs. This T20WC might just be his last if he fails once again.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 22, 2022, 08:10:28 AM
He's an excellent death bowler but in this case, it means death bowler for the Indian team.  Grin Also I would blame the sponsors, before the bilateral series was under the Paytm banner and India hardly lost any bilateral but now they have changed the sponsor lol.

On a serious note, it would be a lot better if they can utilize Bhuvi at the start.
Makes sense. He is easily one of the most inconsistent bowlers out there. Sometimes, he picks up several wickets with a healthy economy rate. On the other hand, he leaks runs like crazy and doesn't pick up a single wicket some other times.

This is why India desperately need Bumrah back since he is still their best death bowler in my opinion.

As of tomorrow, Jasprit Bumrah will make his comeback against Australia. The Indian team suffers greatly as a result of his absence.

Rohit captaincy in T20 format has also been a subject of controversy. His behavior with players and captaincy are not good. Before the T20 world cup, he should quit. The captaincy should be given to Pandya as soon as possible. A change of the fast bowling line up, such as the return of Bumrah, should be made under Pandya's captaincy.
Rohit should quit! Why? I do not see any issue with his captaincy. Actually he is preety good with it. None of players have complaint about his behaviour and niether did the coach. The problem with India at the moment are bowlers. They are pretty much inconsistent with their performance. Yes, Bhumrah would be a big assets to the pathetic bowling performance of India. I am not sure how much will it help India tomorrow but I am sure about the world cup.
2513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 22, 2022, 02:04:29 AM

In a cricket match, individual performances doesn't matter much. It is the team effort which decides which one of the sides win the match. And in case of Australia, they always have perfect team bonding. That is not the case with the Indian team, which is divided in to several camps. Irrespective of whether the pitch was friendly to batting or not, 208 was a perfectly defendable total. If they still lost the match, then the blame should be on the bowlers. Depth bowling was very poor from the Indian side, with the pacers leaking runs all over the park.

In the last 4 overs, Hamanpreet Kaur scored 43 runs and I have no idea what got into her suddenly. Her contribution led to India scoring 333 runs and it gave India a psychological advantage. On the field every girl was amazing, two important wickets were got through run out. As always Renuka Thakur was simply amazing. India girls have already won the series and now if they can whitewash the English side would be interesting to watch.
2515  Local / India / Re: Does cryptocurrency have a future on: September 21, 2022, 04:15:43 AM
I think with the kind of digital inclusions happening cryptocurrencies have great future. While ETH has evolved into a POS currency. Bitcoin continues to be a POW currency. It will be great to see how these currencies now perform on 2 divergent paths..

They both are totally different and yet unique in their own ways now. While the Ethereum ecosystem has been growing for quite some time now but its fiat value has not. Bitcoin on the other hand has grown because of its USD value which made many think it might be a way to become rich quickly. But in general, both have a chance to become the decentralized currency of the future.

The second ODI between India VS England (women) will be played today. India has already taken a lead in this series and if they win today's match then they will win the series. I am an optimist about the performance of the Indian side but they cannot take the English side lightly. They have a couple of good batters who can change the game. Toss would again play a major role.

Just want to confirm ladies ..

Is it me or just for some weird reason Hotstar become freaking smooth for this series. Not facing any lag at all which is very surprising to me and seems like top notch stream.

Yes, suddenly they stopped showing advertisements after the end of every over. They are only showing it when the game stops for drinks or at the end of the session. There is no lagging but I noticed something when you watch the match on TV or Laptop there is a delay of 5 mins but not for mobile devices. I am using the premium subscription I am not sure what is happening with the other subscription.

It was incredible performance from Cameron Green. After an expensive spell in bowling, he almost singlehandedly guided Australia to victory despite the massive target. Hardik Pandya scored runs even more quickly, but he couldn't win the match for his team. And Virat Kohli as usual, got out for a single digit score. I don't know why this guy is in the team, when so many talented youngsters such as Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson are waiting for their chances. And in a match where the average run rate was more than 10 runs per over, Axar had amazing figures of 4-0-17-3.

Cameron Green has been outsourced from Singapore and is known as a power hitter. The pitch was made for the batters and I was very happy to see KL Rahul going after the Australian bowlers. As usual Virat Kohli was again a flop and I am not sure why Rohit and Dravid are still allowing him to play. Let him sit on the bench for a couple of games to make him realize that he is also vulnerable. Bhumrah should have been made to play yesterday's game. Pathetic bowling by India was seen yesterday.
2518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 20, 2022, 03:26:25 PM
How the hell Hardik Pandya can hit three sixes? When every other batter failed to do so. Sending Axar Patel was a wrong decision, it would have been good to send Dinesh Karthik at that time. I am still concerned whether this score can defeat Australia. Now, all depends on Indian bowling side.
2519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 20, 2022, 01:57:16 PM
What a shit show by Kholi, playing in home condition still he struggles. Why still the crowd cheered for him when India lost Rohit? I am still trying to understand. Yes, he is known to be the replacement of Tendulkar but I doubt it now. KL Rahul is showing an impressive agression which I think he needs to otherwise he would might lose everything after the world cup.

Home ground or not, Aussies are always good in ICC tournaments.

Sri Lanka tasted a new success after a long time, actually they performed better in the last 2-3 months, so they are in good form.

South Africa is also upping their game. England and Australia are already terrific sides. Pakistan can surprise anyone. India is a big team but in ICC tournaments they are choking since 2013-14. Then we have Kiwis and Windies. Safe to say that this T-20 WC is going to be a belter.

On records yes I agree Australia is exceptionally best in the ICC tournament. Srilanka might have performed better in the last 2-3 months but I still think they are not a team that can be considered as the top 4 probably who could win the upcoming world cup. In my opinion, the 4 are England, Australia, India, and the Kiwis. Still, any team can suddenly outshine their performance.
