The new laws states that you will need to keep track of everyone's identities tied to an address if they are using Bitcoin, therefore abolishing Bitcoin's "anonymity"....It is a huge threat to BTC.

Bitcoin was NEVER anonymous. Transactions happen ONLINE. Enough said.

Maybe it's time that we stop being delusional.
For 6 weeks or so everyone expected a huge break out. I think by now it's clear it's simply not gonna happen. At least not now.
Nothing even slightly points that way either. Really, there is no reason i can think of why we suddenly would go to the moon.
I'm a bull and will always be but i'm starting to cringe every time i see people adjusting their charts and lines and chicken bones to show how we will go up in 2 days from now. You just keep changing the dates and lines because nothing happened at the previous date.
I never seen so many people in denial and simply delusional here before.
I think it's better if you start facing the facts.

I agree, and I really think the slow to a crawl during the summer months just proves and underlines the fact that the Bitcoin market is still RULED by:

1.  Adolescents that only want to speculate during off-summer periods.  During summer it's all vacations, beers, chasing skirt, and happy fun time.  I bet if we did an honest poll, we'd find that > 90% of all bitcoin holders are under the age of 25.  Also points the the overall maturity level of the existing market (no offense to anyone here).

2.  Whales that only want to speculate during off-summer periods.  "Sell in May and go away."  And without major news on the near term horizon, they know they won't get the run up that they need to make serious money.  We need to keep in mind, that these guys get their insider info way ahead of the rest of the market, often months in advance.

Despite all the seemingly BIG news in the bitcoin investor media, this market is still extremely small.  Ridiculously so.  I mean c'mon, realistically we're still at what, maybe ~1M bitcoin holders worldwide at best?  That's both the good news and the bad news, all rolled into one.   Smiley

ADAM::::: Maybe we need a poll to ask the question of ages of readers of this thread?

What's your age?

Below 18?

18-21?

22-24?

25-29?

30-39?

40-49?

50-69?

Above 70?

I'm 12... (mentally)

From what we've witnessed so far, there's a ton of good news that point to the moon direction. Nevertheless, we've also witnessed that bitcoin does whatever it sees fit without program and no prediction. Only a handful of people know exactly when it pumps and you *may* have noticed that they're very very quiet when the time comes.

You know my opinion. Just HODL!
But of course:

I own a good stash at the moment and i'd advise everyone here NOT to sell just yet. I will sell only at the right price and this is north of 10x the price that Greg is offering at the basic exchange.

Patience is a virtue.

If i could sell my gcoin stash for 0.01btc/MGcoin, i would be really really happy. In fact, even if i could sell it at basic exchange price, i would be happy, but there is no buyer for now.

What do you mean by a good stash ? 1,000,000,000 GCoins ?

Being among the ones that were around at the beginning, I'd consider myself a "good hodler".

Hi Greg and regulars here; please excuse me for my absence, I've been busy doing other stuff.
Greg, don't force it as far as it concerns the ideal promotion. This is a great crypto implementation and it's (up until now) greatly promoted as it is. Just give it a bit of time and after the first exchange accepts it, things will go viral.

Android app. Problems with my Note 3+

- There are a few game crashes (casino app) so far but as you already know this is common to Samsung phones.
- The last game is always crashing and it's impossible to play. This works ok with my other tablets with KitKat android.
- The cash out option is giving me hard time every time I'm trying to withdraw from the temporary wallet to my device's one. (10 min wait)
- Please consider rising the daily limit, or even better remove it altogether. The 24h limit is IRL more than 36 (tested). I have about 22M on a tablet which it will take me a month to get them out to my safe wallet.
- Please add some more games. A poker game for instance would be fine. Also it would have been more fun and addictive. This way the people will keep their wallets on and maintain the network infrastructure.

Hope you find the above comments useful.

Cheers.

But I still advice ppl to use buy and cut because you never know if we end up heading down to 0 for some reason.

Bitcoin is special, because every day that it is not immediately and permanently reset to 0, has historically meant a 0.7% price appreciation trend (resulting from increase in adoption).

So you are essentially betting that the probability that Bitcoin fails today is less than 0.7%, and you are able to withstand some volatility.

Without posting some train pics you're not even close... Wink

Just managed to point my 2 antminers + 1 BFL60 to your pool today. There's a constant error on bfgminer:

(Low difficulty share of 0.0)

Is there a way to overcome this?

There is - start mining with scrypt miners instead of SHA-256 miners as this is scrypt mining pool ;-)

(this will change soon as I will be adding more algorithms very soon, but for now it's scrypt-only).
LOL!

Hurry up then!!! Wink

PS: Great concept. Keep up the good work.

^^ This.

Distribution method is key for now, but you need to determine a way to do this in the future. An idea: The GCN/mBTC exchange price will be controlled by distribution (or mining) and vice versa. That way you will keep the people busy mining (or spinning).

Advertising here in the forum is a also great idea. Give it a try, spare some GCNs/mBTCs for it; I assure you it will worth the while. The people you want to use this coin are already in here, rather than FB.

Cheers.

Miners rule the game here. This was way too profitable up until now it seems. Let's see where it finds equilibrium.

My guess is that this coin won't follow a different path than any other altcoin. Hope it stops @ 0.002 but don't really see it possible. Sad
