2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 21, 2015, 10:33:13 AM

People just dont have a daily goal or the # to stick with cause they keep changing it if they do win lol.

Intially its basically a different form of for sure screwing yourself over. Like if youre at $10 profit and your mark was $10, now wanting $20.. that itself says everything.

Well I might say, that is wanting more than ever you could avail, in gambling if a person really really want money he will not bet for more because the way he thinks is the value of money, but if a gambler wants fun, he will bet much and to the extend that he will sell everything he own just to bet.

That's the situation if the gamble did not try anything new or trying to develop his own skill for better gambling. If people only depend on their luck to make profits in gambling then they must loose in short term as well as long term. Long term will give you time to rectify your mistakes.

Trying to log in getting a cloudflare error.

The site has been going down every night around 1am EST for about 15-20 mins. Itll pop back up no worries

Yes I also faced same type of problem. I believe that management team will take this issue more serious so that technical people will do the needed things to make sure an uninterrupted gambling experience to us. This is kind of problem will make people searching of some other sites over time.
2503  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker Rooms on: October 21, 2015, 10:23:21 AM
I'am sure by now you've found out what rooms accept the crypto currencies .Before investing and starting to gamble in poker rooms please take care that the website is legitimate .You can have number of scammers around the corner to play with your cash. You can have the best poker rooms owned by the members from bitcoin talk itself, do more researches on the Gambling topic before you just blindly start playing.  Smiley

Yes there are lot of fake and scam poker sites which usually accepts your deposits and allow you to play even allow you to make huge profits too. But when you try to withdraw your profits problem may start. It's must to check the reliability of the sites before investing or we must test sites with less amount of investigates.
2504  Economy / Gambling / Re: Double your money easily by betting on tennis betting on: October 21, 2015, 10:19:59 AM
Nope. Tennis is the hardest sport game to bet. Their ranking would not determine how are they going to play. And they have so many sets game so it is hard to predict which one is going to win

i have earned lots of money from tennis betting, am i good? actually i won over 7btc from tennis this year, i think some matches are cery unexpcted, but djokovic's match is very easy money.

& bitcoins from tennis betting alone must be great achievement. I have more interest in tennis but I'm not expect to predict the result of a match. More over female and mixed tennis are more interesting for me. May be to expand my gambling opportunities I must learn on predicting results of tennis matches.
2505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gentlemen, i think it's safe to say we're the new halving elite on: October 21, 2015, 10:15:42 AM
The halving in LTC does not inspire much hope for bitcoin.  There was some nice anticipation rally - but the halving itself did not stop the crash and looks like it will not get it back high neither.

Yes, but isn't Litecoin like a dead coin with no future? On all of the forums everybody keeps repeating this and the price drop and development activity suggest this.

On the other side, Bitcoin has dropped in price a lot but not 48 times as the price of Litecoin. Also I don't even need to repeat about all of the investments, etc in the Bitcoin ecosystem. It's strange to me to compare Litecoin halving and Bitcoin halving.

Nothing wrong in comparing the trend situations of litecoin which faced it's first halving recently. Litecoin prices jumped more than double then settled on double to make sure the miners profit regardless of half mining rewards. Why not same will happen to bitcoin....
2506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: October 21, 2015, 09:37:07 AM
I am so confused.

What is better?  Which one do you guys recommend more?

Thank you for your time
bitcoin more popular than litecoin and so many shops accept bitcoin nowadays, since i know litecoin i didnt even know online shop that accept bitcoin except digital currency shop , so if you want to use bitcoin as a payment proccecor or investing on it i would highly reccomend BTC

Yes we can not find online shops which accepts litecoin easily. Very rarely some sites accepts both litecoin and bitcoin along with dogecoin also. Litecoin needs to evolve more to match with bitcoin adoptions. I guess people see alternate currencies as investment to convert later to bitcoin.
2507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 21, 2015, 09:29:02 AM
I do use Bitcoin everyday. My Bitcoin usage at the moment looks like :

# Buying stuff.
# Receiving payments.
# Storing value.
# Paying people for some coding work, etc.

Yes. Medium of exchange and investment opportunity.
Bitcoin now a days mostly used for online transactions for the alternative to Paypal. Where ever Paypal has played a role or not at all available, there would be a big chances for using bitcoin more effectively.
2508  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is coming back, stronger than ever, with new members! on: October 21, 2015, 06:02:29 AM
All these are new thing and wonder how people are in searching of new bitcoins in each and every methods. New members to this forum must be a good initiative as we need to consider every new account as new person. They are getting educations on bitcoin and making others learning on bitcoin.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on: October 21, 2015, 05:29:17 AM
Gambling and luck are the two enthusiastic parts where man believe on getting help from one of them to crack the other one. Gambling must need some skill which may be materializing the luck in right place at right time.
A professional gambler is the skillful person who turns his luck moments into money by his predictions.
2510  Economy / Gambling / Re: MY EXPERIENCE WITH BITCOIN GAMBLING on: October 21, 2015, 05:23:07 AM
the thing is that a lot of people have this illusion that gamble and make them earn $$ fast. so they always have this hope that they can be better off with gamble. even winning one time out of many time lose, some of them still willing to gamble as it is part of their lifestyle.

Yes gambling is the dreamy way of making quick money which is not suitable for all the players. Gambling may induce to bet more money to gain more, but result in wiping out of all the bet amounts. But many people love to gamble for the fun which is a co product when you win something.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 21, 2015, 05:16:09 AM
I just wonder what the Indian media is saying about Virendra Sehwag that he will take retirement , They are saying this because Viru says to play MCL , which is solely played by retired players who had not yet played much t20.

Yes Virendra Sehwag has already announced that he will retire from all kinds of cricket games. He was a good player but consistency was not their so he last his opportunity to play for india in couple of years. Basically because of IPL now there are lot of talent available for selectors so if some one not playing good and do not have any recommendation in selection department then they will easily lose the chance. Same think happened with Virendra Sehwag.

Virendra Sehwag was one of the best opener with explosive batting. For the power of his batting depth, he hold many fastest run scoring records. He was first one to score run a ball in test cricket, now a days David Warner follows that. Sehwag is the legend of explosive cricket.
2512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you typically gamble in? on: October 21, 2015, 05:12:18 AM
I usually use bitcoin but the confirmation time is too slow and also the high fee that need to be paid. Unlike the other alt coins.
Sometimes I also use dogecoin because it's much better than bitcoin because with it's fast confirmation time and low fee.
Yes dogecoin is my favorite to bet on. I do not want to spend out my bitcoin which is the only reason I always for an alternative crypto-currency. Yobit provides us free alt coins daily, we can use any coin for their dice game, which is the best place for alt coin gambling.
2513  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: October 21, 2015, 04:11:45 AM
Yes i have 1.4 Bitcoins in my another block chain wallet which i keep it secret all the way. As i will fear that there is a chance to hack just for my bitcoin safety.

Blockchain.info wallet also provides your private keys. You can get your private key in encrypted format and save in your local hard disk with out internet connections. This will ensure you can access your bitcoin at any time as some days blockchain.info goes offline.
2514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: October 21, 2015, 04:08:47 AM
Buying bitcoin is always not worst because if you have some patience then wait for a month or 2 months it may become some increases in your bitcoins. As i purchased 1 bitcoin when the bitcoin price rate is 211$ and now the bitcoin price is 271$ then just think how the bitcoin turns day to day.

But many people who have bought bitcoin in the range of $900 to $500 might need to wait more patiently for their buying rate at least. But in my opinion they must buy some more now so that they can get better average price. While selling also we should not sell at once.
2515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 21, 2015, 04:01:38 AM
Holding bitcoin till it becomes currency of world must be appreciated. More over spending bitcoin only to get back more bitcoin also a wise idea but I do not see how practically feasible in the world with most of programs turn scam. Anyway nice thoughts to use bitcoin for long holding.

Your going to be holding onto it for quite a long time if you think it'll reach worldwide adoption as a currency. Given how developed the fiat markets are - alongside how much regulation would be needed/infrastructure to support Bitcoin transactions/awareness about it in general as well as putting trust in it - it will probably take more than a lifetime if it'll happen at all. Bitcoin is more of an interesting experiment - one that is rather unique but hasn't gotten far in comparison to real financial scales.

Yes world wide currency is very big goal when considering for a 6 years old currency. But people are expecting a massive price for bitcoin which is possible blindly when bitcoin started to gain value. Once it started to near $1000, the new investors will move to bigger prices for obvious reasons.
2516  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: October 20, 2015, 06:39:34 PM

i highly doubt the stable price would be 1k ,for that to happen it has to reach atleast 2k $ and i dont know the reason why you guys think the price will only increase ? 200~ is a dead stable price .

The block reward halving makes it increasingly uneconomic to mine. Some big miners have said cost price is somewhere around $150 and that's with free electricity in certain cases. By 2020 the block rewards will have fallen from 25 to 6.25 coins.

If the price is still around those levels by then it won't have caught on and there won't be any increase in transaction fees to subsidise the block reward. It would be on its way to curtains probably. It would still be possible to mine but there wouldn't be a great deal of incentive to do so.

By 2020, block reward would be just 25% of what we have now. Then there should be at least 400% growth in bitcoin price. It's just a mathematical calculation. But there are lot of factors which has more significant influences directly into bitcoin prices. So we can expect even 400 times appreciations also.
2517  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: October 20, 2015, 06:30:44 PM
With current price, I think we will touch $500 in the middle of 2016 or about 8 months from now, $269 is still too far from $500. Also I hope bitcoin halving plan will bring good effect for bitcoin price.

Yes halving will do some magic.
Only the initial push is required to reach any prices. I do not think it's completely meaningless that how long it take to reach some $50, so that it would take same amount of time for another $50. Usually commodities trade in logerathemic sequences.

Yes bitcoin prices also grown rapidly over time not in sequential pattern. So, $500 dollar per one bitcoin is possible at any time with the current situations persistence. Bitcoin has already test ~$1200 levels so $500 are not a big hurdle to climb up.
2518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: October 20, 2015, 06:27:58 PM
I'm dreaming in 10 years, i'm getting paid my salary with bitcoins and cannot see the fiat currency.

Getting paid in bitcoin is highly possible already when bitcoin hit $1200 many MNC's employees thinking to get salary in bitcoin as per Yahoo news.
But fiats are here to stay for at least next 100 years. Because bitcoin has no property to wipe out fiats completely.
2519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 20, 2015, 06:17:00 PM
I am holding some bitcoin now for the upcoming block halving. I think that the upcoming block halving will cause a major price increase.

I think so also, the upcoming block halving may really increase the bitcoin price, and we hope so
that's why i think holding some bitcoins nowadays isn't bad idea

Yes halving would be the reason for many people started to hold their bitcoin. It must be a wise idea to keep bitcoin for a better price on the vent of halving. Bitcoin will be more in value when many people started to hold bitcoin at least for some time.
2520  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: October 20, 2015, 06:08:31 PM
If given a choice to walk away with either Bitcoin or gold of equivalent value, what would you pick?

Asians and Westerners were asked in Taipei in Chinese and English if they would take Bitcoin or gold home with them that day, and the answer might surprise you...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6GiC8dqN9A

We just shot a video outside the Taipei 101 skyscraper area here and gave people a chance to answer if they would walk away with either Bitcoin or gold- and why.

If you were approached and were offered the same deal, would you walk away with Bitcoin or gold in your pocket, and why???

I would pick gold all the time.  Bitcoin is extremely volatile.  Gold is around for a very long time already.

Yes gold will be more stable hardly it would be +/-50 USD in next five years. But we can expect some some ten time fold of appreciations from bitcoin for the same period of time. Better pick and hold both bitcoin and gold. This will pay you back some what reasonably.
