Sad to hear guys... there still are reputable projects that pay in BTC and I have had the pleasure to work for some - also suggested translators for other languages, who have been paid just fine. So let´s just keep our eyes open and work together.
The number is rather small and not all of us are so lucky to live in "rich countries" where people have higher chance to invest and all projects want to be translated into their language  That's why we, the normal mortals, may start accepting tokens [which is a mistake!] and later simply stop searching... There is not much options for translators as the people who normally hire translator in crypto are the marketing personal of a blockchain project which they only pay with their tokens. I tried to demand BTC for a fee but they rather cancel the job to me to find someone else to translate whitepaper, ANN thread and bounty thread for them. its worse when translators has to wait years to get paid. You guys need to get in touch with established and already running projects instead of watching out for those shitcoin projects... Edit: As of today I will also start posting available "jobs" I am aware of in the op - would be awesome if you guys notified us as well. A personal friend of mine is looking for a french translation of his website, which is not crypto related. There is one condition though (besides quality translation of course) - he needs an invoice as he is running an official business in the real world. |

Regarding such "bounty altcoin projects" --> I am not taking such jobs at all. As stated in my thread, I am only accepting projects that pay in BTC & ETH and I dont care about promises such as "you will be paid in our coin that will be worth $XXXXXXXXXXX in future"... and you shouldnt either!

Regarding buy-in, I think most of us are cool with 1 mBTC, no?
1-2 mBTC is fine by me. no lower than that---let's keep it interesting!  Nowadays I don't play poker that often - usually only when I am utterly bored - and I never was an ambitious player anyway. Will never forget my first and only Royal Flush though. Good old days at PartyPoker Oh my, Party Poker - I used to be an affiliate for them when the big poker boom arrived in GER and everybody has been playing there - I loved it and watching that image you posted, hard not to get nostalgic lol. seriously, that screenshot brings back some memories! i can't believe it's been more than a decade since the poker boom, when i was crushing the FLHE tables on partypoker. And starting off with some free bankroll they offered everywhere?! Only one more week to go guys, this is gonna be fun! |

So how does joining the group work? Does he need to write something in the thread to have the name added to the original post or something or will there be a link to join the game? And with only a week left perhaps it's time to decide on the buy-in and other technicalities mentioned in that first post for discussion?

Happy with the weekend so far, qhat a number of upsets we've got haven't we? Is there one final one waiting to happen with United tonight? Es steht dort folgendes: BTC Address (must be SegWit): XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Hat es was ganz bestimmtes zu bedeuten wegen Segwit Adressen ? Vielleicht ne einfache Frage für Euch. Für mich bitte mal krz erklären.Danke Meint nur, dass ne Segwit Adresse zur Bezahlung benötigt wird und daher angegeben werden muss. Segwit Adressen beginnen mit 3 oder bei Segwit bech32 (neuestes Format) mit bc. An dieser Stelle natürlich auch viel Glück allen Bewerbern! |
