2502  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are GMO Foods Safe? What Are The Pros and Cons? on: August 06, 2015, 07:38:30 PM
I would avoid eating it. Unfortunately since everything we eat has been modified at some point or another then I am afraid I will continue eating it with the rest of the world.
2503  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is there such an insurgence of flat-earthers in 2015? on: August 06, 2015, 07:27:44 PM
The earth is round. Some proof of this is, if you watch a boat sail away from the dock out in to the ocean, it will seem that the boat is sinking into the ocean. It isn't really but its doing this because the earth is round
2504  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS executes 19 girls for refusing to have sex with fighters on: August 06, 2015, 07:21:43 PM
ISIS is incredibly brutal. If we thought Hitler and Stalin were ogres for their cruelty, ISIS is far worse. The brutality of ISIS is almost unparalleled in our time.
2505  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: August 04, 2015, 04:08:05 PM
apparently anonymity is critical to protect free people, but then there is no recourse for victims of theft and cybercrime?
Just like cash... Protection for theft and cybercrime can exist in the form of insurance. The money world ran just fine using just cash for a  long time.
2506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CryptoCurrency User Base on: August 04, 2015, 03:32:09 PM
Alternative coins users should be much less then Bitcoin logically and last time I've seen a video speaks about the number of Bitcoin users it says it's about 250k (not sure how that is calculated since a lot of people have shitload of adresses and wallets in same time)

Hmmm 250K is that it??

Not quite as dramatic as i was hoping.... 7 billion people on the plannet and only 250,000 "bitcoin" users

It's still early in the game  if you ask someone on the street what "Bitcoin" is, they look at you as if your speaking a foreign language.
2507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: August 04, 2015, 02:03:17 AM
They are all safe, but best solution is to not keep all your eggs in one basket. webwallets small amounts easily accessable to you, electrum get you going now but mostly desktop uses, full client to help the network/store some coin, and paper/offline wallets for true savings/safety
2508  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dead or alive? The story of the Taliban's missing leader Mohammed Omar on: August 04, 2015, 01:43:20 AM
now he will discover that the will of his God is not exactly synonymous with his paramilitary groups actions. If i was him i would not hold out to much hope for those 72 virgins!
2509  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man Decapitates Wife, Kills Dogs, Gouges-Out Eyeball, And Lops Hand-Off on: August 04, 2015, 01:19:41 AM
that's tragic! how can someone do that ! that would be a really horrible way to die as well I would rather be shot or stabbed to death than have my head cut off.. so sad, RIP to this woman.
2510  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Boy, 12, opens fire on transgender woman in possible hate crime on: August 04, 2015, 01:04:59 AM
this is absolutely inconceivable . I hope the shooter faces the justice he deserves. These hate crimes need to stop.
2511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: August 04, 2015, 12:56:52 AM

2512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: August 03, 2015, 11:59:51 PM
the best way to earn bitcoin is enroll signature and also trading with alternative coins with high volume

2513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you introduce Bitcoin to your friends and family? on: August 03, 2015, 11:49:43 PM
the most people that know of it only see it in a negative light, aka used for the silk road. Also it seems that most people get confused on the mining process, Keep it simple when you tell people about btc
2514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: August 03, 2015, 11:47:11 PM
I prefer Sports Betting in those sports where i am knowledgeable enough to make good money so that i don't have to depend on others.
2515  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece is going DOWN on: August 03, 2015, 05:27:05 PM
There are alot of educated people who have adjusted for this and pulled their money out because they saw the disaster coming. This would be the market adjusting the price prior.
2516  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be our new world currency? on: August 03, 2015, 05:05:10 PM
I voted for Bitcoin, because I will believe in Bitcoin! Bitcoin is the best currency in the world! Smiley
If we measure the usefulness of a currency by the number of people who would potentially accept it, I think Bitcoin is already more useful than most small currencies of the world.
2517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coin.mx shutdown by federal government, top executives arrested on: August 03, 2015, 04:43:09 PM
Once your account reaches a certain level of activity, Coinbase ask you a number of questions as to how you are funding your account to buy btc and what they are for. So this makes them compliant with AML.

Coinbase is unlikely to be shut down. It is refusing to do business with people in certain states because they are afraid of breaking their local regulations. It's extremely paranoid about who it does business with and people have had their accounts closed for buying from Coinbase and then selling on Local Bitcoins. It probably reports anything and everything just to comply with regulations.
keep in mind that any exchange may conceivably someday shut down without warning (like MtGox), so don't keep large amounts with them long term; withdraw the coins to a secure wallet under your control.
2518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've been scammed 5.5BTC. What will you do when your Bitcoin get scammed? on: August 03, 2015, 04:21:26 PM
There are some very smart and talented scammers out there that are good at what they do. But scams are universal, I couldn't count all the dollar-based scams in the world
2519  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: August 03, 2015, 03:56:59 PM
Let's face it, it's true everywhere. The reward of the moment always outweighs the possible future risks. That's why corporations don't want to do anything about global warming.
2520  Other / Politics & Society / Re: American Dentist Pays $50G's, Kills Cecil The Lion on: August 03, 2015, 03:55:16 PM
People who need to do this for their ego are sadly delusional. Another problem I have is... you see something alive like this in nature and your first instinct is to kill it? We aren't surviving anymore, and this is disgusting behavior.
