2501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I convinced a Stock Trader to Invest in Bitcoin on: February 19, 2022, 11:59:48 PM
At any instance we should not guarantee them with the profit. This looks like pressuring the users to get into cryptocurrency investment beyond their interest. Already being a stock trader, he surely knows about the risks in any form of investment. Also, I don't think there is such a briefing required for this. Because stock traders were well aware about the cryptocurrency market. When it comes to an investment, it is all about the risks and the return. With cryptocurrency the risks were high and so is the profiting. Also should never insist on making short term returns which makes newbies have a thinking that it is a fast rich market.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 17, 2022, 11:59:23 PM
Luckily I didnt put a wager on either Murray or van de Zandschulp. Bautista Agut
really blew Andy away in that match, I thought it would be a close one, but not.

Same here, I thought that Andy might have a good chance to at least score an upset win.

But to everyone's surprised, it seems that the didn't have any during that game because it's not even close. And as what we have discussing before, Andy is really way off and no longer can compete with this young generation of players.
The difference between Andy Murray and Bautista agut is just a year's difference. The match is completely one sided. 6-0, 6-1 which is a big blow. This was his worst defeat since 2014. Roger Federer recorded similar victory of 6-0, 6-1 against Andy Murray during the ATP finals held in London, 2014.
2503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be accepted for tax payments in Colorado on: February 17, 2022, 11:47:35 PM
The governor is quite interested in adopting the growing technology as people are getting much used to it. Maybe this can be the initial step of having the state's fund in bitcoin. As of now very few organization maintain bitcoin reserve moving traditional fiat to bitcoin. With Colorado State authority the tax being paid is converted to fiat and added. Maybe this can later be a direct payment. As in the OP, long back itself the governor is more positive about bitcoin. However this is same as paying in fiat.
2504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World Government is Scared of the Popularity of Bitcoin on: February 17, 2022, 10:58:41 PM
There is tremendous growth in terms of adoption as well as individual acceptance. More countries are with the plans of regulating the usage of cryptocurrencies. Even a country have made bitcoin a legal tender. This all happened as an outcome of growth and nowhere it has paved path for crisis. Once after the increasing usage of cryptocurrencies it has streamlined the process of banking. The combined value of bitcoin around the world is around one trillion USD whereas the banking is $8.5+ trillion. Such a market difference won't get impacted in a short term.
2505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most reliable coin to invest in is Bitcoin. on: February 16, 2022, 05:29:54 PM
Op have mentioned about his investments other than bitcoin some have disappointed him. If I'm not wrong he has invested on some of the memecoins looking for short term benefits. Most of the altcoins are following the pattern of bitcoin, and I've a thinking people can consider investing into altcoins same as bitcoin.

I don't think ethereum, Solana, polkadot, BNB will get vanished. They also have set a good record, but the profiting varies. With bitcoin the profiting seems high and gained the trust and higher acceptance level. Don't conclude on the market, because the move can be on any direction.
2506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we wrong? Bitcoin or Blockchain what does Satoshi actually mean? on: February 15, 2022, 11:59:23 PM
Maybe one day the real Satoshi appeared and did a patent the blockchain. Is this the real purpose of Satoshi's intention to create Bitcoin?
Impossible. Real Satoshi won't ever have the idea to appear, he decided to let this be decentralized. He also will harm himself and the existence of Bitcoin if he braves to appear. He has done a hard job so far and hides his identity perfectly, he won't ruin it by appearing one day. If he really appears, it may be the end of Bitcoin and crypto industry.

Not really, his identity isn't a big concern anymore. He innovated and people are enjoying it. He won't reveal his identity anymore. He'll not go for a pattern, because he developed it as an open source and the main objective is to give financial freedom to the common people. Now what he aimed is slowly taking place and he won't disturb it. Going through the beginning statements from the Bitcoin White paper abstract. It is clearly mentioned of having a peer to peer version of electronic cash which is bitcoin and later it is also said how this happens. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash based proof of work which is the blockchain. So it is about bitcoin and blockchain.
2507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your freedom is taken, bitcoin and crypto is the solution! on: February 15, 2022, 11:06:03 PM
Through the protest that is happening in Canada people from different parts of the world have understood the real usage of bitcoin. Common people doesn't have big understanding about the features it has got. Many find bitcoin as a way of money making and not as a technology that is developed to serve the people. Now it is time for real change and this is happening with the truckers.

I find Canada to be a nation that consider the rights of people, because even after such a long protest there is no big water gun firing or some serious attack over the protestors. Hope the solution will be a positive one.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥶 Winter Beijin 2022 🥶 Discussion and bet thread 🥶 Winter Game 🥶 on: February 15, 2022, 04:19:47 PM
Today China is celebrating lantern festival which is more popular and is celebrated on the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar. Thi year it has happened today along with the Beijing Winter Olympics 10th day. Today it would be an enjoyable day for travel enthusiasts to see lanterns floating all around. However the players who are within the Olympic locations can enjoy from there, as players aren't allowed to get outside. Anyhow China is really taking big efforts and hosting the winter Olympics in a much better way.
2509  Economy / Economics / Re: Lagarde send clear signs of interest in the Digital Euro on: February 15, 2022, 01:13:40 PM
CBDC are digital form of fiat money. More countries are with plans of having their own CBDC. When cryptocurrency is doing the same function, why different governments push themselves to have their own CBDC. The reason behind this is the lack of control. Countries prefer having their own CBDC for various reasons, but if the traditional fiat is in use people will avoid using the CBDC. As in the previous quote CBDC gives the government the ability to track every transaction. As of now Nigeria only have launched its CBDC and is there any progress after the launch of e-naira
2510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if d price of 1BTC exceeds $1m by 2030 as its made legal tender on: February 15, 2022, 10:26:08 AM
For me a price of BTC that reaches that amount is totally acceptable and possible, currently nothing is impossible and more in crypto, crypto and BTC anything can happen, if in 2030 it reaches a value of $1M I would be totally happy, because those who If we have at least 0.01BTC we would be almost millionaires, so it is not unreasonable, of course we do not know that it can be unlinked in the near future, if more radical diseases, or possible wars, these things can accelerate or decrease the price depending on how they develop, but These types of fundamentals must be taken into account.

Yes, if the price reaches $1m then surely it'll be a win situation for most of the people who have been saving bitcoin as rain droplets. Same time it is to be noted, when such a huge increase takes place automatically it will encounter different problems. As a result of fiat currency inflation people will tend to move funds into bitcoin. The same could help with money laundering and black money holding with ease. So, the rise also has got advantages and disadvantages. Lets see what way the market is gonna turn in the upcoming years.
2511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if crypto mining is outlawed ? on: February 15, 2022, 07:13:58 AM
This changes nothing. It will just re-direct the whole power to the countries where mining is still strong enough and legal. For example, imagine El Salvador where bitcoin is considered as legal tender, it will get the upper hand and thus gain the whole and sole power to mine the crypto. Stopping the crypto mining won't stop the use of the crypto currencies in any country as it is online, and it can not be practically banned or stopped from using.

So left over mining power and followed by it's reward, will be given to El Salvador (example). Imagine they have will have huge amount of assets in their hands.

If other countries do this, then they will be dropping the axe on their own legs!
You are right, in fact this would be a great deal for El Salvador, also that there will always be ways to mine BTC so that everyone can have their transactions quickly and safely, in the case of Venezuela their government is mining, and has such control It is It is very good that everyone who decides to engage in mining has to register with SUNACRIP, this as to maintain control, otherwise if they do not do so it would be considered almost a crime, where the person or persons will be imprisoned.

Now, that we have a country which makes bitcoin as legal tender, it won't be very hard for other miners to think where they will go if situation becomes worst in their region. So I don't think it is in the best interest of those countries that are planning to ban these miners. Look at what happen when China banned their miners, some just went to other neighboring countries but others I believe, some are operating underground as there is still hashrate shown from China. Also, btc keeps surviving even without their participation, considering that China a very big country.
When China made a ban on Cryptocurrency mining, people moved towards Iran. Now there is some power issues and 80% of the miners are running it illegally. Now the active miners of Iran will look for some other country that support it. With mining when someone leaves, there are people ready to occupy the space. At any point cryptocurrency mining isn't gonna outlawed even if countries gets united. There are power issues and companies are working on it to make cryptocurrency mining power efficient.
2512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Almost Lost Bitcoins Recovered - Forgotten Wallet Details on: February 15, 2022, 12:28:37 AM
Women named Rhonda have 6 units of bitcoin back in the year 2013. She had bought them knowing it through a radio talk show. While she was buying the price was $80 and she had used it for some time and forgot it until 2017. When the price of bitcoin increased reaching around $20000 she got excited and started finding her holdings on the computer.

She had lost her login information, she had got her password printed on a paper, but some letters on the wallet identifier is missing. She had tried for months and finally gave up.

Once again during the last year's rise of above $50k she got into getting back her bitcoins. Finally explored how can it be recovered on internet. Here she had found a father and son named Chris and Charlie Brooks who claimed to be “crypto treasure hunters." After having conversation with those guys she had handed every details about the wallet. Everything has been done through the video call and her bitcoins were back. Her wallet had got $175000 in bitcoin and she had paid Chris and Charlie 20% and $10000 for her daughter Megan. Have kept the rest on a secure hardware wallet.

I don't know how far this is true or is this a way of promoting Crypto Treasure Hunters, but this is really a happy moment for Rhonda getting back her bitcoins after nine years.

2513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: February 14, 2022, 05:05:17 PM
When it comes to investment, people have got different views and different understanding. This means some expect short term profiting, some look for long term profiting, some want to have risk free investment. Depending on the requirement one has to choose the respective cryptocurrency for investment. Bitcoin have got proven record which is the reason why it is the best investment of all time unlike the market situation.

Everyone won't believe in growth, those who make use of the dip profit when the market increase with time. But, most of the time people get into panic when there is downward disturbance in the market. Study the market and make the investment.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin 🐕‍🦺 1$ possible in 2022 or not? on: February 14, 2022, 03:41:40 PM
Based on the data from the coinmarketcap dogecoin have achieved a growth of 70,433.86% from its base. On dogecoin ath value the growth percentage will be even higher than this. Dogecoin has reached $0.73 which is something close to $1 and there is no big real-time usage. Maybe if someone like Elon or crypto influencer make a plan surely there is possibility to reach $1. If I'm not wrong, surely in the long term this will happen.

2515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why people keep "investing" money in shit/memecoins? Genuine question. on: February 14, 2022, 02:34:06 PM
This is just a form of trying their luck. Some succeed, and the success people never look for other altcoins. Then onwards they look for similar memecoins to profit. These aren't newbie investors, there are professional investors who just invest and leave it without taking it into the portfolio.

The newbies who profit out of memecoins mostly invest partial profit on other memecoins. Most of the time memecoins are very less priced which makes investors go for 10 coins, even if one pumps it'll give a massive profit.
2516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 29 Year Old Legend In Crypto Trading on: February 14, 2022, 09:37:47 AM
He's a most generous billionaire in the world. He lives with ten room mates in Bahamas. He doesn't own a mansion or Lamborghini as other billionaires. He is something different from other billionaires of the world. His wish is to donate what he have earned to the charity and the needy. He have been doing it through his FTX. He's a common man who understands the need of common people. He's really a legend in trading, because his initial days of arbitrage trading has made him a billionaire.
2517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is $Scott the new 1000x Shib? on: February 14, 2022, 03:32:31 AM
Going through this you'll get to know about coins that are getting into existence regularly. Morris coin

This has scammed more than 1.1 million people from India. The total amount scammed is calculated to be $162 million. Now 7 of them have got arrested. When there is some technical knowledge they themselves create something and market it. Similar thing have happened with this Morris coin. People weren't much aware of cryptocurrencies. They believed and started to pour more money. Finally it was a scam and now just $5 million worth assets have got seized. The mastermind behind the scam have gone abroad it seems.

So when you go for such coins that you've mentioned, analyse well and invest. The landing page for the respective token itself unsafe. Do prior analysis and be on the safer side.
2518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: February 13, 2022, 11:37:52 PM
Among the listed altcoins my pick is polygon. Often the blockchain keeps adding more ventures to its partner list. The recent one being the partnering with the GameOn Entertainment to build NFT games on polygon's scaling platform. Polygan is much into discussion for its low gas fee and security. Apart from this list I find polkadot to be something potential like ethereum.
2519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: February 13, 2022, 10:40:19 PM
Even if your mind have accepted it, there'll be small regret of missing the opportunity. I've personally experienced, opportunity missed is missed forever. I missed it during the year 2018, later I sold for a very low price. Till date the altcoin in which I missed the opportunity haven't reached its previous ATH. If there is no need for money, then this won't be a regret or makes you tensed. Most of the time the regret won't be on the growth, but on the timeline. Because, none knows how long we need to hold.

Most of the time people miss the opportunity not on greed, but upon the belief that the specific altcoin will grow even high.
2520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Track Record for the year 2022 on: February 13, 2022, 09:41:45 PM
It is very sorrowful this time. Managed to make a good holding of tron through casino games, but this didn't last for much longer time. Several times I've tried this strategy (martingale) and lost, and today once again the same has happened and the loss is once again a big one.
