2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: August 27, 2019, 01:41:11 PM
I hate it honestly when we make what we get from these campaigns sounds like gift, that is why they no longer value us because it feels to them like they are doing us favor, do you know what it takes to spend your time on the system sharing post and submitting reports, in my country, this is what some people basically do in the office, I mean something related to that and they go home with $1500 to $2000 every month, but this one is like a contract job and yet we are still not being paid.

If there was a regulation, I am sure that for any project to hire bounty hunter, they must have also paid for it if there was an escrow service, and I know it will get to that, but I agree with you that since the situation is like this, we have to learn to move forward and think of other benefits that we can grab in this cryptocurrency industry.
2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs on: August 27, 2019, 01:10:30 PM
IEO is a good step forward for the startup industry. It is surely better than ICOs because you are dealing with a known exchange not the devs of the project, so even completing the KYC procedure is more secure with IEOs. Also, the token usually gets listed on the exchange after the IEO, which isn't necessarily the case for ICOs.
Do you think that every IEO that you see in the exchange are really coming from a known exchange, I think bad IEO has even been released more than the few reliable exchange that came from known exchanges like Binance, Bittrex and few to exchanges.

Most of the IEO I have been seeing of late are the ones coming from exchanges like Yobit and some  smaller exchanges, of course, what do you expect of those IEO, especially those of Yobit, they will be nothing but full of shitcoins IEO, so if we are talking of reliable IEOs, we only talk more of the ones that are coming from these top exchanges that we have with reputable team members.
2503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: August 27, 2019, 11:45:28 AM
In my opinion, ypu cannot be completely anonymous in today's world. Really. Not on the internet, never. So, it doesn't matter what we do, we are not anonymous when we use any of electronic devices.

I don't agree with you. It is possible to remain anonymous, but there is always a risk of someone tracing your identity through hacks or other methods. For example, you can use a VPN to hide your IP. Here the risk is that the VPN provider can double-cross you and provide your original IP to the authorities (although such incidents are very very rare).

Bitcoin to Bitcoin transactions can offer you a great deal of anonymity. Satoshi Nakamoto designed Bitcoin in such a way, as to provide the maximum amount of anonymity to the users. But the problem occurs when you convert your Bitcoins to fiat. Almost all of the exchanges now are KYC enabled, and the authorities are trying to closed down the DEX sites. A single such transaction in your wallet can enable the authorities to trace your identity.
Based on your first paragraph then, anything that can still be cracked successfully to boycott anonymity is not then anonymous if you look at it from that angle. What is the point of VPN when the VPN providers can see trace our identity, but if it was a decentralized programmed through blockchain technology, even the provider is also blind to the activities of the user, and this is what makes it difficult for them to be able to trace bitcoin transaction.

And you are right, it is only the development of centralized exchanges that is now making bitcoin transaction looks anonymous, but if we were to use dex exchanges along with crypto, then the anonymity of bitcoin transactions will be 100 percent perfect, and this is still one of the greatest value of bitcoin to me, which is why I use dex exchanges more.
2504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors are impatient and too quick to judge projects on: August 27, 2019, 10:55:38 AM
We are dealing with humans that are emotionless, and we are dealing with humans that has series of needs on a daily basis, and they want to do everything possible to quickly make money that will enable them meet up with those pressing needs at any point in time with a quick money, so I must tell you that majority of people, you see invest in all these altcoins are investing for a quick profit and none of them cares about the project, they don’t even sometimes knows what the project product is, and all they care more about is actually the profit that they can get from it.

This is why you see a lot of projects collapsing now, because the moment that they hit an exchange, majority of the investors has already placed a sell order down when it reaches a certain point which gets executed at exactly that and they are satisfied with it, go away and never come back.
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: August 27, 2019, 10:12:23 AM
First, I think the headline of your post needs to be edited because it does not represent the body of your message, your headline says you prefer both why the body of your post says otherwise. I dint know about your first point because I thought till the coin that you are mining increases in value too before you can have some gain, which mean you are also in the same shoe as an investor.

For me, I think I will prefer to invest than to mine, and when I talk about investing, I mean short term investment because I am a very good trader and with trading, I can take my own profit instantly which if I really know how to trade well, I could take much more profit than the person that has been on mining for year depending on the coin that I am trading.
2506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: August 27, 2019, 08:37:09 AM
If this will happen then we will simply move to Ethereum investment as it will become the most trusted and the most potential crypto currency in the market to make more money for us but i think no Altcoins can ever supersede Bitcoin as it already build a deep foundation of trust among the crypto users that even it has no commodity to introduce but still it is the most trusted crypto currency.
If it is possible for ethereum to beat bitcoin, then it will be possible for the least altcoins in the market to beat ethereum also, that shows the gap that is between bitcoin and ethereum. We need to understand the popularity of bitcoin, in my country, majority of people here don’t even know much about Ethereum, every investment you see people in this country have is majorly in bitcoin.

as a student, I conducted some research amongst my mate and some external people, and you will see that virtually all the campus students has heard of bitcoin, and when you ask of ethereum, majority of them virtually have no clue of what it is. All my years that I have spent in cryptocurrency, I have only invested in bitcoin and some altcoins, but the ethereum itself, I have never invested in it personally.
2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen for the libra project on: August 27, 2019, 07:58:26 AM
I am just curious about the libra coin, this recent month libra project is in the hottest news, but now currently I never heard about the latest news development for facebook libra project.

Their have any update...😀😀😀
I saw an announcement some weeks back that they may never release the project because of the stiff opposition they are getting from government and I think it is really a serious matter as I aloes heard that the G7 summit that was conducted of recent was seriously against it and has directed its member never to allow the project to fly.

I want to believe that is what is presently making the hype to die down, except maybe they are still developing the project since it was 2020 that they initially promised the public to release the coin, but before that 2020, they ought to have been given update on the development of the project and keep sending reminder to people so that the hype can still be on, but if by December, nothing has still been done to update the public, then the project may be already dead.
2508  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: August 26, 2019, 05:52:38 PM
I have an opinion that common man, in general, will not take risks if that is not certain, because they prefer to work rather than taking risks to invest. while investors, they prefer to take risks, and a different path from ordinary people. In addition, investors also have a lot of consideration and analysis. because of this, I feel that more people have become successful investors, compared to common people.
There is nothing for a common man to risk if he does not work for it, at least before you can even consider investment, you must have had some money with you either through savings or loan, and I want to believe that before an investor became an investor, he was once a common man also, and before the opportunity came for him to become an investor, he must also have exhibited all the features of a common man and I am sure that at one point too, he may have even borrowed money to pay for that his child’s school fee, so there is always time for everything.

It is not so easy to get money for investment, and before the opportunity comes you see people would have already taken loan to stay alive for that opportunity to come.
2509  Economy / Speculation / Re: Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia on: August 26, 2019, 05:16:04 PM
I had once thought of creating a topic as regards this also and little did I know that someone ad already created it, according to my bible, it was recorded that in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ after the trumpet had sounded, there will be a single currency that would have been introduced to the world and whoever does not have the mark 666 will not be able to send the single currency, and I am wondering if Satoshi is human or a sprit that has created the currency to fulfill the prophecy.

If this is so, perhaps, there is nothing that government can ever do to fight the bitcoin because prophecy must be fulfilled, which means bitcoin has come to stay and will go round the whole world, and what does that interpret, bitcoin will still appreciate a lot more than this before Jesus comes .
2510  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade war Influences on cryptocurrency on: August 26, 2019, 04:09:27 PM
We haven't seen any effect whether positive or negative, crypto market still continue to go day by day. If there is an impact, we should have seen the price going healthy and moving to a positive growth.

I see some.
With the Sino American conflict and investors' tendancy to be worried about a recession, we can see more and more of them turning to safe-haven, such as gold. (you can check charts)

What does this have to do with Bitcoin? It has been following the gold price for 3 months (you can check charts too to see the correlation). It means that investors tend to consider Bitcoin more and more as a safe haven. (Are they right or not is something else)

Compared to Bitcoin, does it remember you something for the past 3 months?

We have all been seeing bitcoin fluctuates, gain massive increase sometimes, and then sometimes dump hard and none of us could really explain what is making this to happen other than we associating it to trades, bulls, and bears but there are factors that are happening in different locations that is making this to happen, and one of them could also be this trade war between them both and you may never know.

Their citizens might be passing money through the bitcoin market to make payment for good s and services and you know that has they demand, the price of bitcoin will increase, and has they withdraw; we will also see the effect of it. No one of us is sure of the effect of this war on bitcoin, but it might be having without making bigger impact.
2511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which US bank is the most crypto-friendly? on: August 26, 2019, 02:58:28 PM
Hi, guys! I'm not sure such banks are exist but maybe you know one.
None for now mate, but maybe in future you will get some, the only agencies that are operating like banks for us are the third party agencies like local bitcoin and other ones where you can change your cryptocurrency to fiat, and maybe you can then take the cash to your bank, and even if you receive large amount of fiat from these local exchanges, the banks will still put and eye on it and could block your funds so you can explain how you got such money, but I believe that very soon, we will have some banks that will have no choice than to accept cryptocurrency transaction even if it is against their will, that will be when the crypto industry has been regulated and government is use they will be getting their complete tax money from traders.
2512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Worth $1 Million Seized by Court to Compensate Cyber Attack Victims on: August 26, 2019, 02:36:29 PM
Honestly, if we can have some sort of regulations in the cryptocurrency industry, things will be very easy and the rate of crypto cybercrime will reduce, now they have laid example, but this is not enough to make the rest withdraw, we need full force enforcement and we need more scape goat for others to see that they can no longer go scot free again duping investors of their money through either ICO or through hacking of their account.

Seems UK is a little bit friendlier as regards cryptocurrency than US, because they could have just ignore it and pretend like they never knew so that people would be discouraged from the use of cryptocurrency. Well, it is still a step ahead for us, and I am sure that overtime, we will get much more regulation from different countries.
2513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Weird bitcoin art propaganda on: August 26, 2019, 01:24:24 PM
I like your concept, but I think you should have just used other things to represent this rather than using Our Lord Jesus Christ, this is exactly what Islam would not take, representing their God with something like this, but we see ourselves abusing the grace that the Lord Jesus has given us, it would have been more interesting if you had used other images to depict your point.

Anyway, may God forgive you and don’t take your crypto way from you lol. So stay off this, so that you can enjoy your cryptocurrency when it eventually becomes mature as you said, because their nothing the banks and government can do to break this crypto holy curse that is going round the earth and will eventually get to probably take over the whole continent as the only currency.
2514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 26, 2019, 09:05:52 AM
Guys take a look at this article, found it accidentally on medium. quite a cv <removed links>
Your account on that link looks suspicious and has been dusted off the site, so better post more reasonable chart later in future and I dint think we even need any of those chart to be able to trade the market on our own, you guys are not really encouraging people to use their own God given talent to also be able to make research by themselves, do they have to rely of people’s opinion?

If you are good at what you are doing, then you should endeavor to use it for yourself and to your own success. we don't even need much argument or charts to know that the future of bitcoin is very bright no matter what we are passing through now, and as  a Long-term holder, we just need to have patient, while short term holders needs to just make use of their own strategies.
2515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick and tired of this Bitcoin on: August 26, 2019, 08:24:06 AM
Hey OP,
Everything you said here does not have much meaning to me because I am trying to link being tired of bitcoin, and also exchanger being for rich people and o dint get which point you are coming from, because for bitcoin, you are meant to use it as utility token, and if you choose to stay with the investment feature of it, then you should be ready to deal with all the risk that is involved in it which you will find virtually in other forms of investment also.

So if you are trading with it, understand the volatility and learn to develop strategies that will help you to manage it and the risk involve, and for exchanger, these big exchangers are for everyone and not limited to the rich men alone. If you are trading on them, then your own strategy is what will speak for you, so if you are failing in your trade, blame it on your weakness.
2516  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will hit $1 million ! on: August 25, 2019, 08:52:37 PM
My idea was that there is about 2% inflation in USA almost every year, it is 1.5 sometimes, it is 1.8 this year, it basically changes a bit but every year its around 1 or 2, we be optimistic and pick 2% lets say, that means even if the price worth around 50-60 thousand dollars right now to reach 1 trillion marketcap for bitcoin, that still means around 20 years to reach 1 million dollars at least, and that is AT LEAST and a very optimistic approach. That is simple finance for you, no details no tricks or tips, just simple financial calculation shows we have at least 20 years for each bitcoin to worth 1 million dollars.

Can it become sooner? Sure it can worth whatever people want but it wouldn't be real worth, it would be manipulation and speculation nothing more.
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 25, 2019, 08:22:34 PM
Bets on politics are rarely on gambling sites only when there is an election by a country. I am not interested in betting on that but betting on politics looks profitable because it only bet on the money line. It would be easy to predict if the election was in your country.
I believe it’s definitely going to be profitable especially because it’s not very popular and it only for those that are conversant with the happenings around the world. I will not participate if I knew any because such gambling would highly be unpredictable. I know some that happens offline and I remember how a close family member lost his hard earned money in one of the last elections bet that happened in my country. Everyone believed the sitting president was not doing well and would definitely be dethroned but politics can be unpredictable.

I was surprised on how my friend lost his money, we although he would win the bet because we believed the president would not be back on sit. I don’t think politics gambling will be online.
2518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: August 25, 2019, 08:02:32 PM
bbc.reporter, is it some kind of inside joke that you never get the fucking photo right of the guy you are supposedly referring to?

And yes, Peter Schiff will never live this one down when it comes to pass Bitcoin @ 50K.

What do you mean? I will never do something like that. This is outrageous, I shake my head hehehe.

That is a nice screenshot of Tom Lee and Peter Schiff together. Bump that once bitcoin is on $50k hehe.
But wait, did someone Photoshop those tom lee response in there or was that tom lee response really to the message because his response has too many interpretation, and we have some people that could interpret that “sad” as confirming that its sad bitcoin will never reach such price, because for me, I interpreted it as sad of “shaking my head for you”, more like, you will miss out so big without you knowing.

Anyway, I think that peter is wrong, I understand the volatility of bitcoin, and what those bastard bears are doing to the market stopping bitcoin from breaking further barriers anytime it tries to, but I know that their money will finish from the market one day, and the market will have that breathing space to climb as many lather as it can climb with pressure or challenges.
2519  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020's gonna be lit!! on: August 25, 2019, 05:41:11 PM
Yes 2020  either the Bitcoin or USA dollar Will be disapeare or collapse.

If the FED cut rates then likely USA dollar Will Go down, If They dont cut then the Bitcoin Will Go down in 2020.

So either USA dollar or Bitcoin lets see wich one Stay

If anyone Think Different then You are either dumb or You know how the things are but you try to look like dumb to convience real dumb ones to lose their money
Well, the 2020 is around the corner, I am going to remind you of this your statement, and then by then, we will know who is dumber because I don’t think that any of the two thing you mentioned will ever happen, one the us dollar will never go down because it has not been that damaged, and bitcoin who happens to have come to be an alternative to it would have been well received because every day, we keep getting new adoption by governments, so tell me how the US influence on bitcoin will single handedly bring the coin  down, I think you should reason well, and sometime when you make a claim, it is better you back it up with facts and not just say what really makes little or no sense and then leave. Keep watching, we are all here in the market.
2520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 25, 2019, 04:45:06 PM
USA does dominate but this year has been talked a lot like they are not bringing their big guns which could be the reason why people think maybe this year is the year they finally lose. Hell they already lost one game so far, they haven't lost in the past decade or so I think before this, I know national teams do not play that much but Coach K coached 78 games and won all of them whereas right now they already lost to Australia in an exhibition game.

So, considering they are not at their 100% power we may actually see an upset but even that is a big IF because this is USA national team we are talking about, even at their worst roster they are miles better than anyone else, this just looks bad compared to all-star team they had in the previous 10-15 years.
