If it was an inconsequential amount of money anyway, I'd want the most possible returns possible. No point going for a surebet which has next to zero upside in this instance.
Better to try to see if luck will permit you to win. If you don't have anything to look back, then it's luck that you can depend. WHo knows maybe the timing for betting with the underdog is good enough, as long as you have a good idea or knowledge about the team or player that you'll going to go all in. I would still take that -2.5 as the Lakers even without Lebron and Davis is still better than the OKC IMO. Now that Westbrook already had the best game so far as a Lakers, I trust him to carry the team to another win against OKC. Westbrook scored, 33 points, that's a huge improvement compared to his previous games, hopefully, this will continue but I also like to see Lebron and Davis be back soon. And playing against his former team, the place where he starts his dominance. Lakers most likely can cover that handicap if presented by the bookies, even without LeBron and Davis. Coach Vogel can use his backup, having Rondo to facilitate and help Russ and both Melo and Howard to be ready when the ball rotates to them. Still have a better chance to win against OKC even without both the core stars. Handicap or using ML for parlay might be a good call for this game. |

I can't find any date as well, maybe they are working on the background and trying to push this fight this year at least December so that it will be a good year for boxing. I do agree with @arwin100, the pressure will still be on Casimero's shoulder to perform and show the world that he can still knock out his opponents and face the Monster next. We don't want a boring fight like the last one. He has been in this kind of situation though, so I'm confident that Casimero will win in this fight. Rigo is a boring fighter, not Casimero's fault if his opponent doesn't want to be aggressive and make a good counter punch. That last fight also teaches Casimero good lesson, he should be add more patience and observe how his opponent will bring the fight. In this fight against Butler, it's mandatory so whatever the purse, no choice but to comply. The high purse only happened in an arranged bout especially if that's a title match. ^ Bucks seem to be in great form so far. Though the season is long a good start can go a long way. Players will be motivated enough for the following games. Giannis was phenomenal this game. I wish he could complete his triple-double but still, he was so close. The guy did everything. He scored, he made his teammates score, he made space for them also he was very good in the defense. Also, those are some very well taken 3 pointer attempts from McDermott but it was not enough for them to win.
Giannis already matured he is not forcing anymore but rather, he makes sure that his teammates are all involved, A good sign for the former MVP to reclaim the season title, still too far and a long season to watch, but with him playing like this the chance of Bucks to defend the title is really high. He is the favourite to win the MVP this regular season, so I'm not surprised if he pulls it off. Hopefully though his Dallas can at least go to the finals in the West, very tough division though, so let's see.
If he continues playing solid like this, the chance of banking that regular season MVP would likely to take place. A young talented star who still has a lot to offer. Hopefully, he won't get any major injuries. As for the Bulls, the chemistry is already there, Ball, DeRozan and Caruso are really playing solid. And Lavine doesn't really need to push hard every game as someone besides him can produce more point. He just need to be there every game as the glue for the team. This Lakers vs Suns game is getting hard to watch. The Suns have started flat out disrespecting the Lakers vets and making them look like old men out there. Even the fans are getting in on the act now with a court side fan being removed for messing with Rondo. LeBron checked out of the game and doesn’t seem like he wants to be out there. I pretty much thought watching the Celtics play was the worse thing that could happen tonight, but men this is worse... Westbrook, LeBron and Anthony Davis getting schooled like the odds weren't before the game. I guess it's going to take a while before these three (AD, Westbrook, and LeBron) would learn to play together, and the body language of LeBron in the 2nd half so far has been a big NO for me,from complaining about almost everything to not joining his teammates up court during transitions. I didn't watch the Lakers vs Suns, but the Celtics vs Toronto is worst as well. Celtics can't buy a basket, Tatum missing a lot of shots and what shut out the whole game. Gary Trent and Scottie Barnes are playing with the Celtics defense. And worst they are the favourite to win against the Raptors in their home court. What a disappointing lost and for the fans as well. A real disappointment unlike with Lakers who try to bounce back in the last quarter, But they've lack out of time, those 3's from Melo and LeBron gives them a chance to cut the lead to a single digit, not sure why Rondo needs to sit for the rest of the game, Coach Vogel should take Russ instead of Rondo. Lakers cores still not jiving well, need more practices and system that will give them good chemistry inside the court. |

I remember that Keith Thurman commented about his analysis for the two boxer. Thurman has a lot of experience facing Porter in the ring and he is biased on his analysis. He has a point on all of his comment about the different on skills for Crawford to Porter but this is still boxing and a boxer can formulate a counter for a formidable opponent just like what Marquez did to Pacquiao during there final fight. I think Thurman comment has a mixed emotion because he still didn't faced Crawford and yet he is downgrading much Porter just because he defeat it before. Maybe he is jealous for not facing Crawford.
He's pointing his opinion and it shouldn't be treated like that, not because you beat the person automatically, you can downgrade his capacity. Coaches, players, and team owners consent to match fixing that’s for sure, because match fixing wouldn’t happen in the first place if there are no insiders involved in the bets. Most of the time, they do these on leagues that don’t really matter, but still is a hype one yet the profit that they get from winning the games aren’t really something compared to the potential profits that they can get on match fixing. I certainly would bet on such matches in a heartbeat if I do have the insider information, though a part of me thinks that it is wrong and unethical, but whatever.
^ For sure they also get paid for this kind of fraud. I heard on boxing before that there is a match-fixing and also in NBA there is a match-fixing in order to continue the series longer. I don't know how they manipulate such games but I think for now it is rare that there is match-fixing, players have their dignity and fighting with their own reputation and I don't think this is very common to happen. I could probably be unethical because there is no proof about this, because it could be a serious case if ever someone caught. As long as no investigation happened, a suspected fixed match will always remain a suspected one and we as a viewer can't do something about it. Just continue to support that league because I think, majority of the matches are still played fairly and fixed matches just happened not on a regular basis. We can't do something about it after all. Fixed match, sadly, is being part of any sport, but like what you have said, suspected one without any proven investigation will continue to be as unresolved issue. Just be furious and observant if you still wanted to bet or if you still wanted to support teams or players from the league there are still good matchup that ain't affected by any fix matches. Bet as a fan, so you'll have a good hint about the team / players that you are betting with. |
