2501  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: July 07, 2017, 03:06:30 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

If we have a lot of bitcoin it would be safer for us to keep it in the save wallet, This thing we do for our bitcoin is protected from hackers that can harm our bitcoin. But if we want to get more bitcoin, then we can invest it, of course this is risky, but sometimes we have to take the risk to get a larger bitcoin.
The more risk and you will be involved in the high return of the money for your invesment. Too many scammers in these days. I remember the slack already junked by the scammers try to scam everyone in the slack.
2502  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: July 07, 2017, 02:24:42 PM
Bitcoin is very worth now because of the price is increasing. Its really  easy to be cash.Just wait for a moment transaction and its easy to get it cash.Especially to bitcoin holders this is worth much.People worth it because it cost expensive when time comes.Bitcoin will be worth to all the world because this will become the nationwide currency.
What about swiss and china, Look they already tried to issued their own crypto currency that means the countryt will not be pegged with the bitcoin. But i just hope the country crypto will have a relationship with the bitcoin. that gives a lot of benefits for the crypto.
2503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum best for investment? on: July 06, 2017, 01:19:11 PM
Hello, As i am looking in crypto market now so i am thinking Ethereum is good for investment now. What is your opinion for this?

Not really good investment if you want to earn profit quickly, but it will have good price around next 2-3 years. For now it's better to invest in LTC, monero or waves price still cheap and also have bright future
WHy monero? can you tell me the best reason about that? seems the zcash has the better future than monero and kmd coin too. I think stratis will be a good place to invest the money or adex project.
2504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Threats to Altcoin Success? on: July 06, 2017, 01:16:00 PM
Biggest Threats to Altcoin Success are scammy distribution A.K.A ICO's.

I second this ^. Fraudulent ICO's are making it hard for investors. And in turn are damaging valid projects. Greed  is the biggest threat to altcoins.

Because the ico will be related to the money. This time everyone want to live in money/LAMBO. But it can't be considered as the main threat to the altcoin's success. There is a lot of scammers in the cyrpto.
Those greedy person can't be erased from the crypto.
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets are used for ICO? on: July 06, 2017, 03:17:35 AM
Hi there, I'm new here so I hope this is the right place. Just wondering what kind of wallets are typically being used for ICO proceeds? There has been lots of ICOs lately that raised millions so wondering how they go about storing those.
A lot of the icos have different option to invest. Such as tezos open the bitcoin gateway and the bitcoin hodlers can inves their money in the tezos project. But the answer will depend on the spesification of the ico itself.
if the ico just opening the ethereum gateway to invest and just use my ether wallet.
2506  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 per bitcoin on: July 05, 2017, 09:01:02 AM
The price now sounds way more possible then 2 years ago. However I think we will to wait a couple of years. Minimum 3 years. Because with the halving in 2020 I think the price can get a really good boost and we may see it reach 10k.

It can happen in 2018 or it can happen in 2020. Anyway, I believe that the five digit mark is just a formality now. The user base is increasing despite of all the issues with confirmations and block size. And as the number of users rise, so does the exchange rates.
If that happens, it may take a long time, because maybe this year's target is $ 3000, and it would be better if more. Even to reach $ 5000 price is still a bit difficult to happen.
This year the bitcoin will be aiming for the new ATH. I can say over $3000 but too manu resistance before the price of bitcoin will touch the new ATH. We will be facing the august. And looks something big has waited for us. $10000 looks big value for bitcoin in 2020.
2507  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and bad scenarios on: July 05, 2017, 08:58:08 AM
The funding of terrorism, drugs and whatever illegal activities always happened and always will happen and this totally independent of bitcoin.

A downside could be that a country prohibit the use of bitcoin.
It doesn't mean people won't use it if it's prohibited. The USA prohibited drinking alcohol and it didn't work out. Then they prohibited marihuana and it didn't work out either. Drug market is booming thanks to illegality.
Because the main actor is the human itself. The goverment just try to prevent the civilians to do something is include in the bad act. but remember the human has the brain. There is no reason for any parties to prohibited all of the things.
2508  Economy / Economics / Re: China Moves Closer to Issuing Blockchain-based Currency on: July 05, 2017, 08:55:16 AM
Chinese Central Bank gave many reason for developing their own cryptocurrency like lower operating costs, greater efficiency, and better control of illicit money flows. But what I believe is that they are bringing their own cryptocurrency because of the increasing popularity of bitcoin. It is like if you can't beat them, join them.
That might be a reason. Also several news has been coming out of the cryptoworld that China is into plans of legalizing bitcoin completely throughout the country. Something is making a confusion, so if the plan is to demolish bitcoin, why should they need to legalize it.
I remember the swiss alreayd did it. But looks the chinese just try to decrease the operational cost through using the blockchain system that gives more opportunity to make the transaparency to all of the institution.
In this time the operational cost is really high, The institution will no need the accountant or something like that.
2509  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 05, 2017, 08:52:28 AM
Bitcoin is not suitable for deposits and loans due to its instability. During the year the price could rise by 100 percent or more. Name me one suicide which is ready to take out a loan at 100% per annum. Bitcoin can only be used for trading.

If you know that there are people here who is making it as a business. They know that loans are too risky and it's both making awareness for lender and borrower. Bitcoin is a currency and it's not just for trading, it's also good for loans and the forum has the lending section. But this business is also a risk in the part of lenders.
Yes loan is so risky especially in bitcoin and here in forum some members are take a loan but their an options before they get their loan.
Yes this kind of business are risk because once lenders didn't pay for what he get that is a big problem.

There are options before a borrower will be approved, if he is a trustworthy member here he can have a smooth and decent request from the lender. But for some that aren't known they need to present a valid collateral in able to be approved by the lender but if the collateral isn't enough to their asking amount, possibly they will be rejected or amount will be lowered.
The main thing has used by the bank that the collateral must be worthed more than the value of the amount will be given to the lenders. That makes the borrower will be scared to fuck off with all of the money. that will be pushed the borrowes to pay off the loan.
2510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will ico bubble burst? on: July 04, 2017, 03:40:59 AM
A lots of new ico coming everday.Abundance can reduce the value. Every ico wants to get as much as they can.Do you guys think this ico bubble will burst soon?
The bubble can busrt everytime, This will be continue until those flippers are tired to flip their money through using the ico project. and flip the shres in the market place. I think there is no exact date about the bubble will be burst. It can't be predicted
2511  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: July 04, 2017, 03:39:38 AM
USD/EUR has dropped suddenly and BTC has dropped as much in euros, so that confirms the link between BTC and USD.
That's not reflected the price of bitcoin with dollar, as far as i know that the price of bitcoin is not depend in dollar. but the volatility will give the result about the final price of bitcoin itself to the dollar and not bitcoin to pegged with the dollar. You may be wrong.
2512  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 04, 2017, 02:42:09 AM
If you don't mind losing then go online, perhaps if it works then you'll have a double benefit.

Savings in itself is an investment so I will rather suggest you save in bitcoins rather than keep the money in fiat because Bitcoin is growing by the day and you stand a chance of increasing your fiat value one day if you sell them for bitcoins.
I think so, Because every day the more poeple realized that bitcoin will be very valuable in the future. But not until the hardfork or UASF will be come true nad just keep our money in the fiat will be better than put all of them into the bitcoin to gets forked.
2513  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 02, 2017, 01:55:25 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?
To be successful in trading, never stop reading some articles and forums so you can get information for the currency you used to trade. To make your business bigger, you need a capital, knowledge, skills, and much of focus so you can be able to manage it.
We will need a lot of data to make a best prediction about where the market goes as fast as possible, But remember if all of them will require a lot of our effort. If we can't manae our time and  we will not able to doing a best effort.
2514  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 02, 2017, 01:50:09 PM
We cannot say that bitcoin has reduced unemployment in the best way as still there are not many people who are aware about bitcoins and if they are unaware then we cannot expect that they would be earning money from it but in future it can surely reduce unemployment when more and more people will get involved into bitcoins.
Believe it has reduce unemployment right now i was unemployed. Now i get a job in bitcoins . I am getting earning from bitcoins it is better method for me. To earn money very easy. It is up to you and me to introduce bitcoin to people that people are start using bitcoin to earn money that people who are unemployed that they are becoming employed though bitcoin.
What is your job? I think the bitcoin gives a chance to the company for opening  the service for crypto users that will bring the more job for unemployment to get a job in bitcoin itself. Bitcoin bring a big field to the company and unempleoyment.
2515  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: July 02, 2017, 01:49:07 PM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!
This is similar to some questions here but if you dont want to spend just hold it for a long time surely you will make a good profit on it in the future and if you decide to invest it is much better if you split it and make savings and the amount you want to risk that you can afford whenever it loss or earn.
There are some project that has run by the worst dev, i remember one of them are bitcad, and in this time the project has turned to be the scam project that already scammed a lot of person. To investing our money will be involved a high risk.
2516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does the cryptocurrey market go down recently? on: July 02, 2017, 08:16:57 AM
i think there should be a symbol that the bear market come, i don't know the reason why do almost all the coin price include btc and eth do down
Looks another bearish trend, But i just think if the recent pump was a bulltrap, but i think it will go down anymore. The comeback will be really fast. I believe this will be ended as fast as possible.
Just hodl all of your portfolio.
2517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cant send MCO through myetherwallet.com on: July 02, 2017, 08:13:20 AM
I think you can try to replace the old custom address token with a new one had introduced by the monaco developer, and that will fix your problem as fast as possible, A lot of people gets bad intruction in the GAS and can't send their MCO token.
2518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins GPU mineable? on: July 02, 2017, 08:11:47 AM
Hello, any news coins that are gpu mineable (except eth, zcash) ?
Looks all of the new coins were running on the Pos system and it will not be mineable in my opinion. But i think every the mineable coin you can see there all on the https://www.cryptocompare.com
But  the recent coin that run in the POW system will never reach high advertise in this place.
2519  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: July 01, 2017, 11:15:34 AM
Not many people are familiar with bitcoin when the price is low
Now people race to find it
When bitcoin prices are high,
That's normal in life.
That's normal, because the bitcoin is still included on the new existence in our community, I mean bitcoin technology still new and those are unfamiliar with it needs to learn more about the bitcoin before try to use it.
THe more people will race to grab it to get high defend on their privacy
2520  Economy / Economics / Re: How to TAX Bitcoin. An easy way ! on: July 01, 2017, 11:12:21 AM
But that your government recognizes bitcoin as a currency? I doubt it. Your income in bitcoins according to the law is not revenue. If you buy goods with bitcoin it does not fall under the tax base. If you exchange them for your currency, then taxes will have to pay.
Absolutely, I agreed to what you just mentioned on this thread. Bitcoin can't have tax as long as it is decentralized.
We all knew that once the government are able to control bitcoins, it means bitcoin is no longer decentralize but instead it is centralize already.
In order for the government to take taxes from bitcoin they need to admit it. There should be government bitcoin wallet. It seems to me that they will not do it. For them it is tantamount to defeat. Even the greed for money will not allow them to do it.
As mentioned taxation can be made for every transaction. This is possible only when the government take necessary action on it. But corrupted government will always try to make money out of it. So they always create a solution with holes in it. This will be used by the common people. So taxation is possible only if the user himself realize and pay, else even the government can't do anything.
But you have know that the bitcoin is decentralized and encrypted data. that means every transaction of bitcoin gets encrypted by SHA 256 and it must be breakable by the goverment. The encrypted transaction has made the privacy is really high.
