2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2022, 10:26:09 AM

The conflict between players is common, but the conflict between players and management, that's very rare.

Yes, but it's happening already, the conflict is usually between the management and the superstar of the team because a superstar knows his value, if he will leave or gets traded, the knows that other teams are willing to accept him. Take it for instance, what if Curry will ask for a trade, for sure teams will be hoping that they can get him as currently he is the best player in the NBA.

I think it's common amongst great organization, even the Bulls during their second championship run, Jordan and Pippen has issues with Bulls general manager, Jerry Krause. And yet they were able to make a second 3peat. Didn't request for a trade because it's almost non-existent that time. But now we have cases like the Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving drama, and then Durant requesting a trade. If Curry or Green do the same, then the Warriors will break apart. And that's how dynasty's are broken. Sooner or later there will be issues that the management and players disagree.

I hope the management will listen to their players, the big 3 made the team successful, even before Durant joined the Warriors, they are already a championship team and have won championships already. Good thing Curry was playing like a real MVP and he was able to carry this team to win another championship, without either Klay or Green, for sure Curry will not be able to achieve that success.

Hey Duelbits.com, is there any maintenance happening on the sportsbook side? I can access the website without a problem, but the moment I will click "Sports", the data would not load. Does anyone here have the same issue?

On other game, I was surprised and stunned by NLEX performance last game. Even there are rumors that Magnolia just give way for another ticket sales the next game lol we see that NLEX really did their best. I just don't know if the same playing level will be shown by them in their do-or-die game.
If the rumors are true, then that's what we called game fixing, it should be investigated.

Well, if they really try to fix the game to prolong it, then it's not possible that they will again fix the game this time. The spread is high, I like that, and I believe that Magnolia is really the better team, they will win this game and will cover the spread. Good luck!

Same here, I believe they will cover the spread, it's still -6.5, so they have to win as they did in game 1 in order to cover this high spread. It will be a bounce back by the Magnolia, they are worthy to be a champion, so they better show up here and win the game impressively.

We are all united that we are betting on Magnolia -6.5, I hope it's not a trap because the spread is high and it could easily be covered by NLEX even if Magnolia will win. If you will ask me, the spread of the Ginebra is more like a trap than the spread of Magnolia, but who am I to know, we can only conclude if we see the outcome of the game.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2022, 06:19:54 AM
One thing Green has on his side is that he's part of the "Big 3" in the Warriors organization.  Stephen Curry has already come out and basically said that if they want to keep him happy, they'll resign Draymond to the max.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-rumors-warriors-could-create-a-huge-rift-with-stephen-curry-over-draymond-green-s-situation/ar-AA10826E?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=9039e762dead4e93874088df74505872

I think it's pretty clear Draymond is not a max player.  He might be extremely valuable to the Warriors given how his skillset is utilized, but he's on the downhill slide of his career and it's obvious.  He's become a liability as a shooter, and he's not getting any quicker.  I think the Warriors would actually be wise to let him go and develop Wiseman more, but I can't imagine the Warriors management doing anything that would make Curry upset.  It's likely that they'll look at any additional money they have to pay Draymond as a fee to keep Curry happy.
That one may best describe what is happening.
Keep Curry happy and we might make another championship. But this will mean a lot of money coming out of their pockets and it also means tons of luxury tax waiting for them.
I may be impressed with the patience of Draymond to let the play work out before passing the ball, but in terms of the Warriors being cornered, he cannot do anything when the ball is still in his hand.
Let's see what Wiseman will bring when he comes back to the NBA floor, maybe that will change the perspective of their management after a year or a couple. That could be the reason why Green is looking for a longer contract, a threat is coming.  Cheesy

If they will not grant Green's request to get a max salary and that will create a conflict between Curry and the organization, I think that's not good. Although Draymond is not a superstar but the Warriors are playing like a team, the big 3 is very significant for their success, so it's best to keep that intact than adding players which might not help if Draymond would not pay well because he was disappointed.

So what would happen, is Curry trying to threaten the organization that there could be a conflict if they will not give Draymond's demand? I think the organization knows what they are doing, though in a team we have some superstars who are just working for the team, they are paid by the management and they have to respect the decision of the management.

The conflict between players is common, but the conflict between players and management, that's very rare.

Of course, we know what Ginebra is capable of, and that's what they did in game 2. And for sure majority here doesn't see that they are going to be eliminated. But they rise to the occasion again. So they will be the favorite in game 3 with the ML or even a handicap is not that bad to bet on them. And this is going to be another close game but maybe Ginebra has still something with them and win the decider.

But believed me, some of Ginebra fans are worried on that game. Meralco is keeping with the phase with Ginebra the whole game and there are lots of exchange leads. It's just that they fell short but overall, their game against Ginebra is a close one. This is a good series so far where both teams are almost equal and it now depends on players if they will have a bad night or not.
This is the last game between the two, the arena will be full because it's Sunday and they are in the 2nd game.
I'm not sure if Ginebra will cover the spread but I believe they have a very good chance of winning.

On other game, I was surprised and stunned by NLEX performance last game. Even there are rumors that Magnolia just give way for another ticket sales the next game lol we see that NLEX really did their best. I just don't know if the same playing level will be shown by them in their do-or-die game.

2506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins achieve goals I set? on: July 30, 2022, 06:55:45 AM
Surely these predictions can be true but how much time it will take? Even for that, I think ETH and BNB are my choices Roll Eyes

I'm not sure about the other coins on the list but if those are legit and have a hard-working developers, then they will grow together as the crypto market will grow. Yes, ETH and BNB, are great investments and they are major altcoins, so as bitcoin will probably reach a new ATH which could be $100k, then most likely the amount you predicted will happen.

Or, BNB could be the king of altcoins, and will replace ETH in the future but both will still be successful.

Do you mean to say converted into peso? if that's what you meant, then there's a way to cash it out through Binance, just use the p2p service, you can cash out to your bank account or the most popular which is GCASH.

Yes! I appreciate your reply- will definitely check out Binance.

2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 30, 2022, 05:00:46 AM
It pains me to bump this thread again...  It really does...  I read an article today though that says McGregor and Mayweather are currently in talks to do a repeat of their last fight.  Supposedly they're arguing now over what the rules would be.  Dana White recently said that he wouldn't sign off that fight, but money talks and I'm sure he says that every time he would have to go into a negotiation like that.  It sounds like a fight is making progress though, which is confusing because McGregor said that his return would be in the octagon not the square.
As usual, these fellas need to set up something just to fill their pockets once again on simply showing off some jabs and running and viola... Easy millions.

Just snipping out something from this article.
Mayweather has reportedly offered McGregor $157.9million (£131.5m) for the rematch and is said to be willing to put his unbeaten professional record on the line.

https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/conor-mcgregor-floyd-mayweather-rematch-20220726

For Dana, when the money involved is something that cant really be ignored then i wont really be surprised if he would be signing up.

I disagree. Uncle Dana has already mentioned many times that he does not want to be involved in promoting UFC fighters in boxing anymore. He certainly made money in Conor versus Floyd Mayweather, however, Conor lost the fight and this reduced the UFC's branding. Francis Ngannou wanted to fight Tyson Fury, Dana said no. Kamaru Usman wanted to box versus Canelo, Dana also said no.

Lock this thread.

Did it really reduce UFC's branding when Conor lost? not sure about that though. Maybe what Dana lost is that Conor didn't come back to UFC anymore after tasting that huge money pot, like a sweepstakes for fighting Floyd.

So maybe that's Dana's rant, if Conor could be back in UFC or at least fight once a year, maybe he could allow this fight to happen as big money is going to be in the table for both fighters and for himself as well.

I'm sure it's just all about the money, the fight makes both more popular and that will be regardless of the outcome. A rematch is good, it's time for Conor to depend on himself in the sport that he is very good at. A UFC fighter vs a popular boxer, that's easy money for the fighters and promoters of the fight.

Magnolia is +9.5 live, I'm taking it now.
Good luck, that's a big gamble but currently, the lead is still in double-digit and I don't think Magnolia still has time to come back and win. +9.5 too has very slim chance of winning as most likely Magnolia will not play hard anymore knowing they will still lose.

Congratulations Bisdak, hopefully I will have my win also tonight. We still have one quarter, with a better defense and offense, I believe that Magnolia will make it a close game, it's okay if they'll lose as long as they will not lose more than 9 points because game 3 is more exciting and another chance to bet.

Game 3 is very important, no doubt, I'm sure everyone will be betting on Ginebra, I think the spread would be -3.5 that time but it's still manageable IMO.

Guys just a quick question, is there any alternative para makapag cash out ng mga BTCs not using coins.ph? Unfortunately, my level 3 verification account was temporarily flagged by coins.ph since yung proceeds daw ng BTCs ko nanggagaling sa isang gambling establishment, which is prohibited by their TOS. Dahil dito, they limited my withdrawal monthly from p400,000 to only p25,000.

I hope may isang alternative pa in order to cash out my BTCs given the fact na nagagamit ko sila almost weekly para sa mga kapatid ko. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you guys.

The Golden State Warriors have shown some interest in picking up Carmelo Anthony for next season. I’m not sure how well he would fit in, but I’m sure he could do some damage off the bench. I’m thinking it would probably be his last chance to win a championship, so it wouldn’t be a bad option for him. I’d wait to see if Kyrie gets traded to the Lakers and see if I could run that back before anything else though.
Not really bad if the GSW will pick him. Last season IIRC it was him that has been taken almost at the last minute since no team would like to have him but good thing he's saved. I guess I like him to be there because of the thought that he's gonna take the ring with him before his retirement.
Maybe all of us would agree with that matter and the rest, arguable about the whatnots of him being in the dub nation.

Perhaps that what we all wanted to see for Carmelo, win that first ring. So much publicity goes when he join Lebron with the Lakers in hoping that somewhat him and Bron could be a good tandem and could take them as far as the finals, but that didn't happen. But with the Dubs it might be different for Carmelo, the Warriors has a lot of players that wanted to win back to back and maybe Carmelo can be somewhat a factor. So I like him to be pick up by the Warriors at least this season.

Great 2nd team I guess, Carmelo is now healthy, so despite his age, I'm sure he can still drop a decent number playing the system of the Warriors. They will be a fast face team, it could be new for Carmelo but hopefully he will be able to make the right adjustment to fit.

Maybe his role will be like in the Lakers, in their to shoot the 3 as we all know that they love to go outside with Curry, Klay and Poole. And maybe Melo from the bench will be their guy to make that shoot. Yes, last season Melo was healthy with the Lakers, so that is a good sign already. But still up to the Warriors coaching team, for sure Kerr will have a good plan if ever they will get Melo this season.

That will be the nearest case to Carmelo because he can't be in the main line-up for sure, I'm not saying that he ain't got the talent but the Warriors have already established their first five and that will remain as long as the starting five are all healthy. Acquiring Camelo will be good for the team especially now that Carmelo maintained his health and proven to produce decent productions last season.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 28, 2022, 08:05:43 PM
Ok, this is just my thoughts, I think it boils down to the guaranteed money for either boxer. I'm not sure of the numbers but we haven't seen 1 million buys for a long time isn't it? And then the PPV is going to be expensive in this one, like $80.00. Is fans willing to pay that much or would rather look for other venues to watch it for free? (just like the majority of us here). So the networks maybe can't guarantee how much they are going to give them in terms of the PPV. Even the Canelo fights are not that generating at least 1 million PPV, he is the cash cow right now. So this could be in the tune of like 500,000-600,000 which might fall to the expectation of networks.

Yup, it's been quite a long time since we saw huge PPV buys but I'm certain that we already come across over 1 Million PPV buys. In fact, Mayweather holds the top 3 spots in most PPV buys and that includes Canelo in the 3rd spot when he fought Mayweather way back in 2013 with 2.2 Million PPV buys which generated $150 million.

But yes, your figures are quite likely in this fight because Spence Jr. is alone already averaging 400k-500k PPV buys. How much more if Crawford is added in the equation.

I thought so too, McGregor named Kamaru Usman to be his preferred first opponent and fight when he returns from the injury he obtained against Poirier but Usman said that he will only agree to fight McGregor on a title shot under one condition and that is to defeat Nate Diaz first. So now, I'm quite confused why McGregor and Mayweather is now having some talks for their rematch and I don't think McGregor will get Dana White's blessing for it.
2514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 28, 2022, 06:40:24 PM
I don't think banning gambling can be something that is possible,  the government benefit from tax they receive from gambling companies. It will be a difficult decision for government to think of to ban gambling instead they may try to restrict the rate at which gambling activity is been done.

The government can ban gambling but it doesn't mean they can ban people from accessing illegal gambling.  Banning gambling will give more negative result than regulating it.  If a government banne gambling the citizen who are engaging in gambling activity are now breaking the law, they might get imprisoned or put to jail where the government shoulder all the expenses of the prisoner.  The banning of gambling activities doesn't prevent people from gambling and becoming gambling addicts.
So banning gambling is a loss, but regulating is I think a win-win scenario.

Indeed, citizens who are convicted of gambling activities will be just another burden to the government whom they will be forced to get the citizen food and shelter while in prison and that means exhausting funds that could be used in another way that is more useful. Banning gambling won't be useful and won't get the citizens out of the activities nor get rid of their addiction.

I think he's a good fit for the GSW coming off the bench. He could definitely do some damage as most of the guys in GSW can shoot everywhere and that gives him the advantage to find an open space where he can shoot uncontested.
I'd definitely love to see him win a championship before he retires. I know he'll have a better chance of winning a championship if joins the Warriors than the rest of his career from different teams.

I bet he will fit just right through their system, Carmelo is pretty versatile and knows what to do except in defense because I don't think that he plays well at defense judging his recent season in the Lakers but he will be pretty good at the bench throwing threes while the main line-up is resting. Carmelo going to the Bay Area will increase the chances that he will have his first championship ring before he retires, you know he's already 38 years old so he won't be around anymore in the coming years.
2516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: July 28, 2022, 05:09:29 PM
There’s a zero percent chance that we’ll be seeing Mayweather in the octagon. He’s an elite fighter, but I’m guessing even the worst fighter on the UFC roster could easily end his career. He definitely won’t ever be in an MMA fight with McGregor. As much as I’d love to see it, there’s no way we ever will. Crazy to think it’s even a possibility.
Yes, you're certainly right about that. It's really impossible to even consider that it will happen with Mayweather fighting in the Octagon especially if he will go against McGregor, I cannot imagine what would be the outcome of the fight because I'm really sure that Mayweather won't be the same anymore considering what McGregor could do to him in the octagon. But I would like to see that kind of fight someday, mixed MMA and Boxing kind of fight.
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 28, 2022, 04:24:28 PM
Is Kambasos asking for a rematch with Lopez? Wow! I thought he won on their last fight, but why he is the one asking for a rematch? I don't understand really. Lopez has to be motivated, otherwise, he will be out of the list of popular boxers if he will again messes up on this supposed to be an easy fight.
It's an old news before he was losing against Haney, after he's lose any and doesn't have any belts, of course there's no reason a rematch between Kambosos vs Lopez will happen in the future. Now, there's a rumor Kambosos and Haney would have a rematch in this year. I don't think Kambosos will ask Lopez to fight him since Lopez already move to the next weight and focus on his current weight.

Yes, Teo is now on the superlight division and will fight soon versus Pedro Campa. There's no news surfacing about Teo and Kambosos anymore because both of them are facing other opponents as the latter is looking forward to having a rematch against Devin Haney, who beat down Kambosos comfortably. Honestly, I don't think that Kambosos can make a difference this time against Haney, it's more like watching again a replay of their first encounter last March.
2518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul v Hasim Rahman Jr / Amanda Serrano V Brenda Carabaja co-main event Aug on: July 27, 2022, 03:27:14 PM
I think Connor wins too, but he's rusty and has been out of action for a while, so I don't think they'd be too far apart skillwise, other than Connor has a lot of fights both pro and amateur under his belt. Jakes trumps him on age as well and will have that underdog spirit and hunger. Connor did pretty well against Mayweather I thought and has knock out power as does Jake so it wouldn't be a big mismatch. I actually think it could be pretty close. I'd love to see it.
I've never got why so many people jumped on Conor for that Mayweather fight. I'm also one of the few it seems that thought he did well. I mean he gassed out in typical Conor fashion, but he was going toe to toe with Mayweather, who is regarded as one of the best boxers, and for a few the best boxer. I can't say I agree he's the best ever, but he's definitely one of the best. So, for Conor to move to a sport he doesn't train in, and doesn't do, and put on that sort of performance I thought was good.

He gassed for sure, and quite frankly I thought the stoppage was very early. Conor fights better when he gets hurt, as do so many other fighters. He was just incredibly tired, you could see it.
It was already clear that Mayweather will have the favor and advantage even before the fight started, but looking at the fight, McGregor's performance was really good than what I expected considering that boxing is not his forte and his muscle memories are trained to attack in a way that is prohibited in boxing just like what we saw on McGregor where he was frequently told by the referee not to do his thing because it's not allowed in a boxing match.

I think it will be an interesting fight if the match were mixed, 3 rounds of boxing and 3 rounds of MMA Grin

3 rounds of boxing and 3 rounds of pure MMA? Wow, that will be great to see if that kind of fight will happen but I think it will be impossible to wish for that because we know that the said sports are so different and MMA fighters will be at the advantage side unlike the boxer who only trained all his life using the fist.

Also, I don't think that Mayweather would be that dumb to accept that kind of fight where he would be embarrased.
2519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2022, 03:11:34 PM
I hope Nets won't get a trade package deal to trade Durant. This is to give Durant a problem and a lesson as well. If that happened, Durant will play on the Nets even he don't like it or not. Or the worst case, if the Nets didn't find any good trade package but are eager to trade Durant, they will end up trading him with a small package.

I think that this might be the nearest case and actually, I can see that Durant will stay wearing the same jersey whether he likes it or not as well as Irving because the Nets surely know that they should get a good deal in exchange for Durant and Irving, and not taking short deals that will lead to disappointments again. The Nets still have another problem, I'm not forgetting this stubborn Simmons.

The Nets were the biggest joke in the NBA. They have stacked too much superstars and got swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round. Now, Durant really wants to add up to the joke heading to the team who defeated them so badly this year. This is a very similar moves when he joined the GSW. He literally lived in a saying "can't beat them? Join them" lol.
They could actually re-run the full healthy roster next season, instead of running around looking for another team.

I disagree with the term of the being the biggest joke, I'm not a Nets fan but I understand that the Nets management was just happy to give their duo a millionaire contract because they have been on the team for 3 or 4 years now, it's just that they haven't expected that Durant will request for a trade after a year from signing his extension. They have just recently acquired Harden last year but also forced a trade because he didn't really understand what's happening to the team.
2520  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: July 27, 2022, 02:43:27 PM
