2501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 11, 2021, 05:06:37 PM
Early pick.
Cavs vs Grizzlies over 206.5.
It's just too low a total for me.
I think they are using the previous game against the Cavs with a score of 90-94.
Grizzlies is still an offensive team even without Ja and they proved it against the Nets.

Mavs vs Pelicans over 219.5. It might also become a battle of offense.  Wink
Good luck to everyone.
2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: January 11, 2021, 03:27:28 PM
Is it really like that?
Should every ERC20 token rise in value whenever Ethereum does?
Why should it lean over Ethereum price when they have their own market?
Isn't it enough that they used Ethereum to create their contract for their dusty projects?

Perhaps, you should ask the devs of your supported project why their tokens are not appreciating in value.
Gas fees depend on traffic.
2503  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 11, 2021, 11:57:36 AM
If you sold your coins at $40k and bought hours ago at $32k then you are one hell of a lucky bastard.  Grin
It's volatile.
It's difficult to achieve a perfect choice. The risk will always be there.
I can't say you should buy more since I don't want to be the one being blamed when the price suddenly falls.
It will always be an individual decision.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 11, 2021, 07:01:41 AM
This is amazing.  Him and his brother have both been the youngest players in NBA history to score a triple double.  Lonzo did it to pass LeBron James as the youngest NBA player to record a triple double.  I'll admit that I didn't think the Ball brothers would make it in the NBA based on their Dad's delusions, but these 2 are killing it.  A shame Gelo hasn't had the same luck.  It's all been downhill for him since the China stealing incident.
Bad start but now getting better.
Expectations are being proved correct now.
I like this kid. He put effort into making great plays for his teammates.
Yeah, he might be one of those rookies that could do all around positions. More like Doncic.
Even with his bad shooting style, he can shoot 3/5 at 3 point line. Nice.
He's different, he may surpass his brother soon.

The best part. They already surpassed their delusional father.  Grin
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time. on: January 10, 2021, 05:55:58 PM
I doubt that.
It's slowing down. Could $40k be the limit? It might be.
The question is where would be the bottom of it.

I have never been in this kind of amount of panic up until now. I really want to sell to maximize my purchase of bitcoin when it drops again.
My way of accumulating more rather than buying at an expensive price.
2506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin regret story, Need advise! on: January 10, 2021, 03:47:48 PM
You are not alone.  Cry
I have one friend with the same story.
Panic was all the emotion he showed when Bitcoin was going down. Now, he regrets it.
I think I have said it over and over. There is never too late into buying Bitcoin or accumulating it.
There are a lot of ways. You could trade (risky) or you could use your skills paid thru Bitcoin.
I think most of the members here have the same regret but not as far as yours. Maybe sold at 20-25k mark.
2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 10, 2021, 11:49:51 AM
I guess Ty Lue is about to get fired again.
Blame game once again.  Grin
They won't admit it was the players who have problems.
Maybe they just can't work with each other. Well, it's still early. If the same thing happens in playoffs then I bet they will also overhaul their roster.

A new season-high for Tyler Herro with a win against the Wizards.
It was an exhausting game to watch for the Wizards but I could see their efforts. Great game.
2508  Economy / Economics / Re: The Man Who Called the 2008 Market Bubble Says This One Could Pop in Spring on: January 10, 2021, 08:46:34 AM
When I hear mutant, why is it X-Men which always pops out of my mind.
Too much fiction movies.

I doubt it won't work. There must be some tests that had been done before they put it in the market.
Also, people and investors will be buying and they don't want something without a quality check first especially for an expensive price.
This analyst could be using FUD for his self-profit later on.
2509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 10, 2021, 07:19:38 AM
Sorry for those who bet @Heat -4.5.  Cry
The last follow-up shot from Brown Jr. was counted. That sucks.
They got a good run at the 4th and I really thought they can still make it to at least tie the game.
Coach Spo made sure Wizards won't have that chance, putting back his stars at the last minutes of the game.
2510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins seem like they could be the way to go on: January 10, 2021, 05:19:36 AM
You're still lucky to buy at that cheap price.
I bought at $260 and I hope I can have more Ethereum at that time to avoid regrets later, which is now.
Never had the chance to stretch the diversify method.
Just XRP and Ethereum as my alts and some dust that I had been holding for years.  Grin
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 09, 2021, 05:14:34 PM
An impressive game for GSW.
From 22 lead of the Clippers then gaining the win. Outscored them 52-20 for the last 15 minutes of the game.
Steph was on fire.
Wannamaker 2/2 3 points shots were critical to the game and Paschal at the center position abusing Zubac whenever they substitute Ibaka.
It was a fun game, they are developing their chemistry faster.

Congratulations wheelz1200.

The same Clippers we saw in the bubble? Why can't they hold on to their lead, they need some consistency so what happen during the bubble will not be repeat again. It's just amazing to see that GSW starting convince people that they are really back and that is by beating good teams.

I lose my bet but I'm happy for GSW, have to bet on them next time.
Yes, that's true.
I don't understand what happened with the Clippers.
Is the GSW team really better than them or are they still not synchronized?

New coach, some new players especially Ibaka which could absolutely help in their chemistry but it's like the star duo are really hard-headed.
I am not concluding it yet but it looks like they are strong individually and not as a team.
That is why they are defeated by GSW as a team.
2512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: January 09, 2021, 01:36:51 PM
I admit I didn't really expect this to happen.
But it might just hit that number.
I'm still against $100k though. It is just way far. It's now struggling to hit highs with $1k amounts in just a day.

What I want to know is what the bottom will be. I guess we all have the same question since we want to find a way to buy for a cheaper price.
2513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Read this before doing any investment on: January 09, 2021, 10:00:56 AM
Number 2 should definitely be the main rule.
Most investors without a team tend to make the same mistake as the first investors did.
Just going with the hype.
Big mistake. Top alts have reasons why they are next to Bitcoin. Why should you risk more?
I learned that from my own mistakes too.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Buy in or Bail out? on: January 09, 2021, 09:19:16 AM
IMO, I don't want to wait until I lose all my investment with this coin.
Not even ROI.
You will have to decide as fast as you can since most investors are doing the same.
I am voting for the bailout.
Just to be safe and you can buy other coins while they are still cheaper.

How are people feeling about the Suns vs Pistons game?  Seems like the spread might be large enough to warrant giving Detroit a chance to cover but the Suns have been playing great lately so who knows...  I'm planning on watching the game so I figured it might be nice to add a little excitement.
Suns been playing great lately but Pistons are tanking, I like the fact that Pistons are hungry for a win and they are playing at him, so I might take the point spread and the ML as well. Pistons on a 3 losing streak, who knows they'll win now.
2 wins for the Pistons now.
Again with Jerami Grant's monster game.

I might make a bet for this kid next time. He suddenly became the offensive power of Pistons. Who knows? He might really become the star of this team instead of Griffin. Or he is now? The kid took over the game with 31 points and 10 rebounds.
He showcased potential in Denver and still improving.
2517  Economy / Speculation / Re: When and How much low on next Bear Market? on: January 08, 2021, 07:08:36 PM
It could be 1/3 of the price if even it will be dumped again.
I am sure it will happen. There is always a selling moment. I think they are just holding now expecting more.
It did give them more but the "enough" thought would come and they will sell.
I hope we could also make our profits once it happens and then back to buying more bitcoin so it will scatter more instead of just whales keeping it.
Always been late when that happens.  Cheesy
2518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You all were right. I was wrong! on: January 08, 2021, 06:10:52 PM
That's great to hear.
Diversifying is such a mess, I don't really do it quite well. It's may not be my forte.
I tend to confuse the details of one coin with another even with an assistant (wife).

I sold some of my BTC too with other coins and some as cash.
Many of us could be on the same page as you.
2519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 08, 2021, 01:21:04 PM
It's pretty rare to see a big man who are good in assist, Denver lucky to have Jokic, and though they seem not consistent thus far in the regular season but as long as they will enter the playoffs, they'll be a tough team to beat.
Damn true.
I think it was Duncan who can be a good example of Jokic stats although he hasn't got a championship yet.
Just a comparison with skills and movement.
If he is smaller and more agile he could be a great point guard.
He can become an expensive player after his contract.  Cheesy Average 25pts 11rebs 10asts. A monster indeed.
I wish he could get a championship this year.

What the crap!

I shouldn't have changed my bet.
It was supposed to be the Nets win, LeVert, and Allen.  Cry
I was confused yesterday and in doubt because of the last performance of 76ers.
Oh, Ben what have you done?  Cheesy
Jarrett Allen 3 consecutive games with a double-double.
