2521  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ford ordered to pay $1.7 billion over deadly crash that killed US couple on: December 28, 2022, 11:42:24 AM
The most important thing is to whom were these sums paid? $1.7 billion is a large amount, so will it go to the couple only? Will it be a case of reference for all similar incidents?
Personally, in my country I have not heard any case against ford due to manufacturing defects, whether it was due to accidents or others, and these cars are often imported from Ford. Will this case be the basis for trials outside the United States?

As for the value of the payments, I believe that they were deliberate even after they knew that such errors would increase the probability of accidents.
2522  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CrownChange.net - instant electronic currency exchange service on: December 28, 2022, 10:53:00 AM
Wow, many newbie accounts trying to pump up this topic, I don't know, but the platform has enough red flags and you increasing it.
Generally, since you mentioned Fast processing of applications due to the availability of reserves, can you prove these reserves, for example by signing a message or any other way?
+ I entered a wrong bitcoin address (in fact I typed 55555) and it was accepted as the address.

Warning, there are enough red flags to think this site is SACM!!!
2523  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Anonymous marketplace that is P2P and unstoppable on: December 28, 2022, 09:52:27 AM
I didn't dig deep but what is the difference between PANDORA CASH and Monero and what supports the claim that it is the best?
You have a link on github, but there is no indication that the code is open source.
How does escrow mechanism work? Since the site does not accept deposits, how do you ensure that scam does not occur?
Who owns the thought mechanism of encrypting messages in the event of a dispute between the seller and the buyer?
2524  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How does instant exchanges work? on: December 25, 2022, 08:53:03 AM
I wondered how they are working, like the process from receiving the payment to exchanging and sending the exchanged crypto.

But this is my guess. What they actually do there, I don't know.
These central platforms and this work requires that there be a management to monitor assets and forecast cash flows, which requires more work, but most of the current platforms are lazy, they do it through API calls.
In any case, they will not tell you the truth, just as these platforms should have a reserve if any hacks occur, which is something I do not think exists.
2525  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining profitable in 2022? on: December 25, 2022, 08:36:19 AM
It is better to call it "Micro earning" because what is happening is completely different from mining and everyone who promotes it is scammer.
You can achieve small profits from such investments, but it is similar to the hierarchical market, where investors will be deceived and capital stolen when the site does not begin to provide the necessary liquidity to pay profits.

As for the hypothesis that a person buys mining equipment and then tries to use it or rent it to unknown people on the Internet, it is the year 2022, when it is difficult to find a person crazy enough to throw money on the street.
2526  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria Naira notes and its security features-- CBN on: December 24, 2022, 10:13:17 AM
I do not know, but most of us will not deal with Nigerian cash or what is known as "Nigeria Naira", and therefore knowing the insurance signs of that currency will not help us much.
Such posts may be useful to members of the local board and not to a multinational forum.
But what amazes me is why the design has been redesigned. Isn't the state's policy expanding monetary policies?
In general, its insurance policy is similar to most paper money.
2527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for an Easy, Non-Custodial Wallet for my parents friend on: December 24, 2022, 10:04:44 AM
Why not buy a physical wallet? Whether it was a hardware or printing wallet, it contained things of value such as gold and silver, or banknotes that looked like paper money.

Most people may not understand Bitcoin, and therefore if you buy them a hardware wallet or install a wallet on their phones, and over time they will forget the password, lose the device, or delete the content, but everyone appreciates gold, silver and paper money.

2528  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Potential scammer sell Punt.com script on: December 24, 2022, 09:47:20 AM
Send him a PM with this thread link, and if he does not respond, it is better to leave a warning in his trust regarding these practices.

Unfortunately, so far, no scam has occurred, but the indications strongly indicate that he is a fraud, and therefore I think that giving negative trust is due if he fails to answer the allegations in this topic.
2529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Suggest Some Free Crypto Trading Signals on: December 24, 2022, 09:29:30 AM
Miserable attempts to promote the site in such ways will give random results. If you want stable visits to the site, make efforts in the content and marketing policies. Otherwise, no one will click on your links.

Trading signals depends on the laziness of traders and their reliance on a third party that achieves quick profits for them, which is a fallacy in itself. If you do not develop your investment strategy, you will end up losing.
2530  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto's 2022 contraction on: December 24, 2022, 09:02:00 AM
The market cap count for all cryptocurrencies is very misleading, the market has grown from 1 trillion to 2.5 from Nothing but because of random Altcoins/tokens that are printed without having value and therefore evaporated quickly, the most important thing is to measure Bitcoin because it is the main controller of all prices.

Some unexpected events, such as FTX and Luna, are what hastened to extinguish the rise and thus achieve a rapid correction, which is different from things like GBTC, TESLA, Musk that that contributed to the rapid increase.
So the Bitcoin market began to change rapidly and gain a stronger position.
2531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Twitter Poll: Where will Bitcoin end the year? VOTE HERE! on: December 24, 2022, 08:30:57 AM
I think you should add a screenshot to tweet since you expect replies here.

In general, there is only one week left for the end of the year, and this week in many countries is a festive season when life stops and many go to family and relatives, and thus the appetite for risk decreases, which means that the price will witness a kind of relative stability.

Therefore, and based on the expected weak liquidity, it is difficult for us to break the psychological barriers at $17,000.
2532  Other / Meta / Re: QR code integration on profile for address & PGP key? on: December 24, 2022, 08:17:50 AM
Its location in the avatar is not useful, but when you visit the user's page[1], and instead of "ICQ, AIM, MSN, YIM," you get a qr of your bitcoin address or a PGP key.
Will it be implemented? In view of the previous suggestions, @theymos will not implement them.
Therefore, if you really want it, write the code, make others vote on it, and then force @theymos to add it, as the forum is community-driven in decision-making.

2533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I’m a Bitcoin OG and very confused how Defi works exactly? on: December 23, 2022, 03:49:46 PM
Perhaps redefining your question more accurately will give you better answers. You have now got a general perception and now you must specify what you are looking for. So what is your goal, is day trading, buying and storing, arbitrage, staking, or what exactly are you looking for?
To reduce fees, there are centralized network solutions such as BSV, or second layer solutions such as Polygon.
Privacy is not a big issue if you are an immortal user, but unfortunately bridges have proven to be just as vulnerable as the mainframes.
Also, the problem of liquidity, which will make trading slower, achieve losses due to slow execution of orders.

Finally, most platforms claim to be for decentralized finance (DeFi,) but they are centralized at some point.
2534  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I become a Campaign Manager? on: December 23, 2022, 11:19:16 AM
There are no clear criteria, you can analyze the list of current campaign managers to understand how things are going, but the most important thing is to convince the campaign admins to hire you by proving that you can bring him the maximum number of visitors with the lowest possible budget, and therefore the job is suitable for those who have marketing and analytical skills more than Being associated with a certain rank or skills.

Also, having skills such as data analysis, creating signatures, a huge database, fighting spam, and previous experiences will enhance your chance of obtaining employment.
2535  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members of the RedTrust leadership on: December 23, 2022, 11:11:48 AM
I do not know why I am named on that list, but I am not active DT member, therefore I rarely give positive or negative trust (at leaste during the past months,).

+ I am not a trusted member (DT1 member), and therefore the opinions that I leave are personal and you are free to trust them or not. So what is the point of this topic?

and you have a 1 POST, Is this an alternate account or am I missing a story?
2536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two types of predictors in bitcoin market. on: December 23, 2022, 10:02:57 AM
I am convinced that many have become emotionally defending bitcoin as if it is closer to a religious sect than a digital currency that has advantages and disadvantages and may die in the future, but it is now the best that centralized technology can offer and may have a very high value in the coming years.
In general, regardless of personal opinions, what happens in the coming years is what will determine the future of this currency, and the statements of individuals differ accordingly.
2537  Economy / Economics / Re: Car repossessions are on the rise in warning sign for the economy on: December 23, 2022, 09:34:04 AM
Isn't the crisis of electronic chips and charging the main reason for the price hike during the past year? I remember that most of the agencies were unable to provide model year cars even with the high prices and advance payment, which caused them great embarrassment, including the increase in the prices of the rest of the models for the past years.
In general, in the local market here, and without lending prices, car prices suffered from sharp fluctuations, and the problem of loans has added additional challenges.
2538  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 23, 2022, 09:16:41 AM
Do you still believe that the words of a person like Elon Musk can be considered a good investment opportunity for you? You are now following a person who has millions of followers, and therefore what he says is considered an "axe in the head" and not an investment opportunity.

In general, what the man said is a good opinion, but the investment is based on clear plans and not just opinions, and if you want to listen to opinions, then this year and next may be a good opportunity to build an investment portfolio.
2539  Other / Meta / Re: Avatar for another membership? on: December 23, 2022, 08:34:56 AM
When "Copper membership"[1] was established, the purpose of its creation was not to increase revenues for the forum, but rather to provide an opportunity for beginners to post pictures without waiting, in addition to the ability to send messages and others. These features you can get for free if a member adds you to the whitelist of some members[2], and therefore the purpose of the rank Profit is not as much as paying to bypass spam restrictions.

So far, the forum does not suffer from a financial problem, but if they want to, they can easily add the avatar feature for payment, but it will increase spam in general.

2540  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: December 22, 2022, 11:11:12 AM
Time, financial freedom is easy for those who started early and accumulated assets over the course of their lives, but most of us start dealing with money as soon as they get a job, then the responsibility will be great and the return will be very low.
If you start at an early age, for example 14 years old, then by the age of three, you will have come most of the way to financial freedom, unlike if you started at 24 years old.
