2521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MaidSafeCoin actually a thing? on: January 23, 2017, 02:42:00 PM
It is painful seeing words like pump to discribe the success of a project, so maidsafe is only designed to be a pump and dump coin. This project baffles me how is able to sustain the price, the project has been on for some time and nothing to show for the investment received to develop the project, one day it will actually be done on people that most of these tokens are just designed for experimental purpose and nothing else.

Actually, all markets are pump and dumps, simple or intricate, very short or very long. Oil, gold, stocks, fiat currencies and even tulips experienced bouts of pumping and dumping.

As long as buyers and sellers feel greed or fear, it will always be.

- Oil is used to power cars.
- Gold is used in electronics in PC's.
- FIAT is a CURRENCY that is backed and needed and regulated.
- Stocks are REGULATED and their creators are held ACCOUNTABLE.

Do not.. and i repeat, DO NOT dare compare real legit things with scammy ICO scheme digital token bullshit !

I am not havin' it little profiteer investards, not on my watch bucko !  Cheesy

Regardless of usability, everything can be pumped and dumped. If trading for profit is illegal, you'll only see a straight diagonal line up or down, even a flat line, depending on supply and demand. No need to study markets, just laws of economics.  Cheesy

Housing derivatives caused the worlds economy to collapse.. not Oil or Corn or Gold etc.

There is no need for shitcoins.
There is a need for gold and food and oil etc.

The recession was caused by shitheads scumbags passing off stock bundles of worthless garbage.
Empty envelopes they claimed were valuable.. simply because a bubble was created.
The bubble popped and the US govt had to hand out bail out's and other countries did not fair so well ..like Greece.
And that shit WAS regulated too !
Altcoin bail-out's anyone ? LOL

I can take a fat stinky god damn shit on your porch and you greedy ass fucking losers can pump and dump it.. doesn't means it's valuable or needed or useful or wanted.
One of you will be stuck holding the bag !
Sounds an awful lot like a fucking Pyramid scheme now don't it ?

@JimmyRecard  how do you think about application.id & opens.id owner email fhafana@yahoo.com i think same like fikihafana account

All these users have a link, I just look..... also it seems Giveaway lists have a fair few of the same users on each one posting not far off from each other or PM'ing by the look of their list numbers, I might need to contact the people responsible for making these lists...
You seem to know something about the person who did this fraud. if you know why you do not track or you telitikan from the beginning he made a thread to the end he disappeared, I'm sure he still saw the situation here and he still has another bitcointalk account to monitor the situation here.

He does not even need to login to read the topics here (no account needed)

But i agree with the vague comments.. that can get ugly and confusing quick and make you look paranoid.

@Gizfreak
You just figured out that scam coins are not against the rules here ?
You have a legendary account and you didn't know that ? What did you BUY your account ? LOL
The logistics of moderating them would be colossal.

Problem is this forum has provided you all the freedom.. to abuse the fuck out of it by being greedy leeches diving on sketchy ass ICO's in the hope's of reaping profits from late comers by dumping on them.
Pretty much a bunch of Pyramid / MLM / PONZI scheme whiners here crying this scheme failed on them.

Well guess what ?
You dumb fucking losers deserve it.
If you can't read the rules here and even figure out scams are not against the rules then tough luck bud.
Maybe its time you idiots grow the fuck up ?

Maybe quit buying into shit you know damn well is probably a hollow shallow worthless little profit scheme ?
Of course you are going to get scammed.. duh idiots.  Roll Eyes

Are you morons going to learn anything from this ?
Did the mod's have to tell you there was a scam section here ? Read it before investing BTC ?
Stupid ? yeah.. you are LOL

You will all be happily buying into the next ICO scheme i have no doubt..
And be happy as a pig in shit counting your ROI's or.. screaming scam if you did not profit from it.

Sorry i don't have much sympathy for you idiots here.. you have all been warned endlessly after all.

And was it on exchanges ?

2528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [FACTS] Jesus WTF is with Trader these days ? (Market Cap Shock) on: January 23, 2017, 07:10:30 AM
So i took a stroll down the CoinMarketCap general listings.
Seeing all the silly bullshit (many of them i never heard of)
I see a lot of asterisks and guess who got that on there ? ..THIS GUY !  Grin  Cool
You are welcome guys.

So anyway i was surprised at how things have played out of the last couple of years.
For one thing i did not know DASH was at $15 and Monero at $12.
Many other coins were over a dollar each basically..
Which is shocking because mid-2013 that sort of thing was just a dream.
Now lots are that much or higher.

So i kept looking wondering how some of the older coins stacked up.

What i seen was Prime Coin two spots below TrumpCoin @ the #94 position Shocked

Quote
92    TrumpCoin  $917,923    $0.140547
93    Boolberry    $904,605    $0.101542
94    Primecoin    $851,423    $0.048139

Jesus Christ people what the fuck is wrong with you ?

I think all those god damn pointless ICO's you all love to "invest" in are rotting your brains.
Sorry but i think you are all fucked in the head looking at that list.
I would burn my money before buying most of the shit in the top 10.
I also thought it was shocking how high Ethereum Classic is.. #6 nipping at Monero's heels  Shocked

Hmm apparently there is Steem and Steem Dollars ..i didn't notice that before.

#18 DigixDAO ? hahahah  Cheesy

ahhh God you guys crack me up...

PS:
Ripple's scammy dump of 333 million to jump over Litecoin was pretty sleazy shit !  Roll Eyes

PPS:
The Prime Coin ICO ended a looong time ago Investards so put your BTC's away Wink
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The purpose of altcoins ? on: January 23, 2017, 06:38:51 AM
I'd say the car analogy is a little weak.
All cars sold in dealerships actually drive LOL
And if it don't you bring it back for a fucking refund  Cheesy

The point of a currency is to be USED as a currency.
Saying FIAT can be substituted for an Altcoin is silly bullshit and we all know it.. you can't !

All you guys here defending them are left with one simple played old cliche'd retort.. ONE DAY !

..and clearly they will not all be used in a major way (which is the very definition of the word currency)

It's simple, if it is not used by a majority then it is NOT a currency.

Summary:
Many of us admit 99% of these are all bullshit.
And also 99% who insist their coin they are backing / shilling for is the legit one.

To me that is like seeing 5,000+ Religions listed on Wikipedia few years back..
And noticing they are all claiming to be the one true one with the one real god.

Optimism is rampant in Crypto that much i know.
But i wonder at what point do these die-hards give up ?
When do you pack it in and realize.. hey, know what ? My coin has failed.
When ? 1 year ? 2 ? 10 years ? When ?

..one day  Roll Eyes

PS:
I bought in 2012 $423,000 worth of Tenebrix.
I put the wallet.dat on a USB drive and put it in a bank safe deposit box
..that is what i am leaving for my grandkids when i die.
In 2032 they should be worth 33 million dollars right ?  Cheesy  Grin  Cool
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The purpose of altcoins ? on: January 23, 2017, 04:04:50 AM
Was there not just another topic about this?  Altcoins are for buying bitcoin.  And for gambling and trading, that's about it.  In the other thread I said you can't spend altcoins anywhere because no one accepts them.  There are very few places that take coins like doge, dash, and litecoin.  If a business accepts crypto at all, it's usually just bitcoin.  I don't see any real use for 99.99% of altcoins.

I was thinking the same thing too.
The noobs here really do re-post the same simple questions over & over.
And many don't read the Sticky topic "titles" either. (AKA: MOD Note on Speculation Topics)

I think the issue is whether or not Bitcoin can & will be changed later to address the issues brought up..
such as slower confirmation wait times and fee's.
I started using Doge coin occasionally to get coins from one exchange to another way back (years ago) for example.
The cost of moving *small amounts* of coins with Bitcoin is high.
I chose Doge because the crypto scene decided to give it liquidity. (support)
And yeah sometimes it back fired and i took a loss doing that LOL

I mean Bitcoin was / is Open Source code.
It got popular so... bring on the clones.
This always happens on the web.. predictable really.

99.99% of altcoins are used for trading on exchanges for profits.. traded against Bitcoin.
Because Bitcoin can be easily exchanged to FIAT (real paper money etc)

I have often said, this crypto shit is the easiest way in human history to make money.

PS:
@Flyskyhigh
People "Profiteers" like a lawless shady sketchy environment to do deals to get ROI'z.
Don't feed us all the freedom speech ..don't kid yourself this is not about ideology.

How many of you paid your fucking taxes ?

I would safely bet 0 did it properly.

Reread what i just fucking said.. i warned you all it would happened before both Coindesk stories came out.
Regulations are already here in *part.

The purpose of Crypto Currencies is to evade taxes ? hmm who knew ?
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the world needs Altcoin Regulations - Blackpaper on: January 22, 2017, 06:15:48 PM
regulation is only good for when we are looking for more adoption, and we are talking about adopting it as a currency in services and merchants accepting it.

but since altcoins are used for speculation purposes and to make more money (bitcoin) from trading them, then regulation means paying taxes on something that you want to only trade! and that means less profit.

Uhhmmm you are ALREADY suppose to be paying taxes on your profits from trading as it is guys.
I know the Govt of Canada made this Law back in 2013.
There is no grey area about it.. it is in fact THE LAW !
If you are not claiming your earnings then paying tax on it you can be arrested and charged.
Al Capone style (he was taken down by Tax Fraud when people thought he was untouchable)

I seen not 1 reply yet that had a valid response.
Either you guys made up some crap or got super vague with irrational fears.

Monopolies by "the man" ?
You have got to be kidding me ahhahaha
We have Monopolies already by the Chinese miners and shady whales etc here already.
And don't forget about the centralized / govt compliant exchanges that control the scene with no transparency.. pulling strings as they wish.
Yet the difference would be is making sure they are not using insider trading etc.

If we had more regulations that what we already have it would probably be like how it is in the financial world with FIAT.. which negates your criticisms. (the stuff posted here does not happen in that world)
Further more you all assume that i am talking about letting the government impose rules on you that you do not want.. with out your input.

Well guess what ole Spoetnik has been harping on about since 2013 ?
I told you all regulations are coming anyway.
So you all better get with the program and HAVE YOUR INPUT IN THEIR CREATION.
Then you are the ones making thew rules.. not bitching about rules imposed on you.

What did you all say ? They can't and you laughed at me and got childish and defiant.
Pointless.. because as always i am right 100%.
Since 2013 we have been getting flooded with different aspects of regulations.
- Canada announced Tax guidelines.
- Users selling Bitcoin with LocalBitcoins were arrested for Anti-Money Laundering Laws in Florida.
- FiNCEN fined Ripple.
- The SEC released an investor fraud alert warning about crypto coins.
- Most exchanges implemented anti-money laundering law related personal info collection measures. (AML)

So really it's just about too late to say oh, we don't need or want them.
THEY ARE HERE !

All i see and hear is people assuming a bunch of stuff out of fear and paranoia.
You all assume this would be bad and stop us from doing what we do now.
Wrong.
What would happen is there would be a layer of transparency, accountability and for once justice.
Have you all looked at what the AML laws are and why they are created ?

http://www.finra.org/industry/aml

Quote
Firms must comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and its implementing regulations ("Anti-Money Laundering rules"). The purpose of the AML rules is to help detect and report suspicious activity including the predicate offenses to money laundering and terrorist financing, such as securities fraud and market manipulation.

You guys are scared of having...

- Insider trading stopped ?
- Money laundering stopped ?
- Terrorist financing stopped ?
- Securities fraud stopped ?
- Market manipulation stopped ?
- Blatant coin scam and MLM's etc stopped ?
- Thieves like on GOX & Cryptsy and Mintpal stopped ?

Why would you all defend people using corrupt unfair practices ? Hmm i wonder why ROFL
Martha Stewart an old lady that baked pies on TV was arrested for insider trading and convicted and put in an orange jumpsuit and served JAIL TIME.

In crypto ? She would still be doing it and worse.
And to all of you that is great.. why ?

You are worried laws are going to stop you from profiting off of shallow scammy hollow pointless scam coins that would be taken down.. choking your precious ROI'z.
YOU ALL WANT A SCAMMY CORRUPT RISKY SCENE ..TO PROFIT FROM !

..while claiming your earnings with the taxman of course right ? Wink

2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why the world needs Altcoin Regulations - Blackpaper on: January 22, 2017, 09:33:28 AM
The world needs altcoin regulations because ?

- It would put more profits in your pockets.
- It would aid adoption problems all coins suffer from.
- It would create a far less risky environment for participants.
- It would legitimize the Altcoin world.
- It would dramatically expand technological growth of digital currencies.
- It would provide justice for scammers past & present.
- It would dramatically reduce the amount of scams & thefts in Crypto.

Just imagine if it became common for the worlds investment advisers to recommend an Altcoin to their clients to diversify their Investment portfolio's.

I have told you all lots that the price of your coins would sky rocket if they were adopted on a large scale.

So, tell me Altcoin enthusiasts why are you AGAINST regulations ?
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is altcoin used for? on: January 22, 2017, 09:19:33 AM
They are suppose to be a currency that is like Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has a very small amount of adoption and Altcoins have even less.
The purpose of any currency is to be USED by people.
That has been a struggle in the Altcoin world because that does interest the people around here.
Profits do.

If all these people wanted altcoins adopted they would be.
But in reality what all these people want is Bitcoin profits which can be used for big cash FIAT money $$$ payouts.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

GRAMMA IT'S A CRYPTO-COIN JOKE !!!!111

It's funny for real !!

So is JSHock a CTFO or CEO or chairman of Social Media Shilling of Ratecoin / Stakeminers yet ?

I find it pretty funny ole Leroy And Michael had plenty to say way back screaming FUD...
Now ? hmm i wonder where they scurried off to with their tail between their legs ?
Oh wait i know !
Getting Jim Shockney to help them on Social Media for their Community take over scam coin bs.

What i have wondered lots is if Paul Vernon started a new Chinese Exchange.
I think we all believe he wound down and closed the last one because who ever set it up fucked up leaving traces of Cryptsy all over it.. otherwise i bet he would have that still going.

The Cryptsy cloud never did clear.
Actually not much has changed in 2 years as all this has played out.
No one is held accountable and they are all wandering around crypto cooking up schemes.
2540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the world needs Ripple XRP - Whitepaper on: January 22, 2017, 08:19:22 AM

Well this is not about the giveaway per say but i sure as hell recall people saying they got no coins.
I recall no users saying they got some.. NONE !
That is not a "crazy conspiracy" and people know i have a damn good memory.
I would not make the accusation unless i was confident about it.

That fact you sampled random addresses in 2017 on a giveaway from 2013 does not exactly vindicate you Ripple guys.
For all i know you paid out a bunch of them long after the fact.

The way it played out happened like i said it ..i know i was here and watched it go down.
The topic was created and hammered and there was virtually no response or word back and people kept posting for ages with no word on what was going on.

What the result was is..
A whole lot of people going to Ripple.com etc then inputting their email address <-- valuable personal info.
Then creating a password if i recall correctly.. and uhh yeah in crypto that is worth large cash.
You all know how often hackers take the passwords from some pool and try them on exchanges etc.
If you use your password on 2 sites in crypto you will probably get hacked eventually.

You said Joel it was not handled properly.. so don't cry conspiracy later.
It wasn't and the motivations for doing that was obvious.. advertising.
And it was mighty convenient to let everyone keep going to the site to sign up and piss around making accounts and posting keys
..when you guys knew damn well you were not going to pay anyone out.
Anyone with half a brain could see that is in fact what happened.
And yeah that is in fact sleazy ass fucking shit.. not conspiracy.

Bottom Line ? motivations.
Ripple was never released as an open source decentralized currency.
It's a massive swirling vortex of BAD coincidences.
One thing after another that does not quite look right yet there is always some little excuse to brush off the bad shit swirling around it.
I can make a huge list of it and i have here.

What people need to take away from this is i am being told off by an "Employee" of Ripple.
If that doesn't tell you something then uhh.. happy "investing"

..in a company that is NOT transparent or regulated and has been accused of wrong doing by FiNCEN
