2521  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wondering about making a gambling crypto currency website. on: September 25, 2015, 12:21:27 PM
I would love to play a monopoly based game which had altcoins and exchanges in place of the properties, that would be awesome!
2522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: September 25, 2015, 12:19:08 PM
The possibility is there but it would be more down to luck then any true strategy, unless I suppose you play poker against real players and are pretty good.
2523  Economy / Goods / Re: Is It Possible To Legally Sell My Old Car In Exchange For Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2015, 12:16:15 PM
Good luck, I am sure you will find a seller somewhere.  We just need an ebay type site that is BTC focused, I have seem a couple of small attempts but nothing that warrants any decent traffic to make it worthwhile.
2524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Bitcoin accepted Store around you? on: September 25, 2015, 12:05:52 PM
There is a games shop in the UK that has a few ATM's Cex https://uk.webuy.com/ but they are only one way machines so you can purchase BTC but you cannot turn it into cold hard cash.
2525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: September 25, 2015, 11:56:53 AM
Many options listed, faucets are really a waste of time unless you have a LOT of time and then maybe $1 is still not achievable.  Signature campaigns seem the best option and whilst getting paid per post you will need to post in different areas of the forum which will also further your knowledge.
2526  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your least favorite thing about Bitcoin? on: September 25, 2015, 11:53:19 AM
Least favorite thing is how easy it is to lose when you gamble or try your luck at trading altcoins, also the reputation that it seems to be getting as it's always tagged alongside negative happenings, such as ransoms and hack attacks and huge scams.

2528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Rising on Reddit] Bitpay Reportedly Lays Off Most of Entire Staff on: September 25, 2015, 09:33:37 AM
This is a shame, it's always hard to see people losing their jobs and from the sound of it there wasn't any prior notice although after the recent hack news people may have been thinking that there would be some cutbacks.

I hope this is just to save some cash and streamline their workforce and not the downfall of this company, it is true that cutbacks happen in non Bitcoin companies, but I am sure this will get some media attention and a negative spin put on Bitcoin.

Now we just need the rest of the world to follow, right? Smiley
Exactly, it's quite hard to find one that goes both ways, quite hard even to find one that goes one way! the only way is up
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an index of all the cryptocurrencies out there? on: September 23, 2015, 11:11:27 AM
Yeah, the only way is checking through this forum and also most of them will be listed on http://coinmarketcap.com/

2538  Other / Off-topic / Re: how would the world be if people did not need to work ? on: September 23, 2015, 10:01:47 AM
I am sure if people did not have to work for money to pay their bills and survive and we lived in a world where everything was freely exchanged, the world would be a great place to live.

Unfortunately we don't and we will always need to work to survive and due to this there will always be greed, jealousy and crime.
2539  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How is Bitcoin affecting our society? on: September 23, 2015, 09:59:16 AM
1. Yes, well the blockchain is having more success and more positive attention
2. Yes a very good global alternative
3. Yes it will be around forever, there will no doubt be many variations and some banks are already talking about their own version working off blockchain tech.
