The 2 missing 00s is a known problem since the very beginning. If you check at the start of the thread Greg said that the programmer is away and he will fix it as soon as he's back.
Thanks for this info. It is in page 2 of this thread. So programmer is away since 26/06 !!! Let's keep in mind that this is very new. IMHO, there will be flaws and it's a natural thing. Chances are though, that when it hits the streets (ie: an exchange) and if Greg manages to keep the distribution method as is (maybe add some more games), then we may be looking at the next DOGE (only better). Mining is possible btw, spinning is just more profitable right now; I guess this will have to change though, sooner or later. Cheers.

Let's think hard here. I mean REALLY stretch our brains. The Winklevoss have spent LOTS of time and money creating an ETF. Why did they do ths? Because if this ETF is anything like GLD, it could dramatically increase the price of BTC over a few years. So the Winklevoss could: 1. Sell their coins to ETF purchasers, which will leave the BTC exchange rate more or less unchanged and result in the Winklevoss owning no coins. At that point the BTC exchange rate will start rising but the Winklevoss will not benefit b/c they own no coins. 2. Keep their coins, forcing ETF purchases to eventually hit the open market pushing up the BTC exchange rate and making their stash much more valuable. Hmm... which will it be? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I'll take curtain no. 3: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fen%2Fa%2Fa6%2F2009lmadzonkgoat.jpg&t=663&c=2IgdgyuTxSYXKg)

Great initiative, but I think I'll keep my GCNs... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Yep, at that price it's too low. We had to start somewhere. What we're going to do is increase the buy price once we sell some. I reckon it will take a few weeks to get on an exchange which is fine. Best Greg Greg, get in touch with these guys here: http://www.dogeeshop.com/index.php?route=common/home http://crypto.thebuddyforum.com/I'd love the ability to actually buy things with this coin. If they are interested, it's gonna be a very good move. Cheers

No problem Greg; just for the record I've been introducing this to all my friends and colleagues. I *REALLY* think that you should keep doing this as a means of distribution. I've never met anyone so far who had something bad to say. PS: I keep the VB macros for myself ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

The web interface presents a lot of glitches the last couple of days. The amount seems to present negative numbers and the total is tremendously different from the total on the "play game" mode of the game. The "real" amount presents sometimes a couple of hundred GCNs difference, sometimes it's about 1M or more! Also on Mozilla, the spin button needs no macro to run, because after the "Are you still here" is presented it goes automatically frenzy all along! I tried clearing cache, sadly the problem remains. On Chrome I have no such problems except the total being reported wrongly. Cheers. PS: I've been running 2 clients nearly 20hrs / day via VB script (yeah, it helps to be a coder) ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

"Old" ati cards won't be nice when mining Scrypt-like altcoins. I have 2x5970s and never managed to get them to work with ANY scrypt algo alt. Same with this one here. I've been mining perfectly SHA256 or keccak algo alts though without a problem. I guess it's the drivers or that they're old enough to handle this algorithm...
