Since most of the visitors are from countries where CPC is quite higher, the estimated amount isn't too bad. edit- That's too low. I thought forum ads revenue was quite high as I didn't check closely ever. I was in the wrong thought that forum generates at least 0.10 BTC in an auction. |

I wonder how accurate is their data when they state Bitcointalk HQ is located in china with 51 - 200 employees (i wonder if they count moderator as employees)  Even if you put them all in a list, total count will never be more than 35-40 if I'm correct. Just from having a brief look, it surprises me over 50% of the posts come from the altcoin boards !!
I thought this was bitcointalk - maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised -lol.
There are hundreds of current bounties on going and thousands of signature campaigners out there. Most of the campaign requires 10 posts a week to get the stake. All the sig campaigners contribute in those boards because those boards are less moderated. I think number of active reporters on that board are also low. So, at the end, those boards generate more posts, less moderation (less report), number of posts get increased. As they say, "alternate cryptocurrency boards are the heaven for spammers." They say that for a reason. |

One common thing I have seen among the people who thinks bitcoin has died. Most of them are a no coiner. They don't have bitcoin, they somehow missed the train and now out of there disappointment, they think it's died. I don’t mind though, they will eventually die but not bitcoin.

There are a lot of casinos coming here everyday and most of them are really not worth to try in my opinion. I have been active in the gambling section for the last few months, possibly for the last year. I have observed many sites but didn’t find a lot of good projects. Only a few were worthy to check out and play. What do you do? Join and try your luck on the new casino or join only if you see them lasting for long?

To make it completely fair, why not make a system where mods are unable to see who reports and whos being reported. They should only see the post that is reported and then they could make a decision whether the post is to be deleted or retained.
If this is difficult to achieve, then atleast the person who reported should remain anonymous.
It is possible to keep the reporter anonymous but the reported post? In no way. If any moderators wish to manipulate the system (I don't think they do), they would simply check the thread or search with some keywords to find out the author of the post lol. Though personally, I don't agree with some of the report statuses I did, I think mods are not doing any arbitrariness, it's not impossible to have some mistake on their part but that's a little when we consider the bigger picture. |

Because the fee reward isn't the motivation for running mining for the miners. There is 6.25 BTC rewards for each block, so that's the reward they are after. However, as mentioned above, fees can be varied. It's not the same all the time. You can get your transaction into the next block with such low fees while sometimes, it's hard to get on the next few blocks with $5 worth of fee. By the way, it's worth mentioning that fee is calculated based on the number of inputs and output.

His other account was banned as he said above. You missed that. I don't know if this is true or a scam trick as detailed by MahdiRakib but I see nothing wrong with that. Years back, I had done something wrong, not something financially, I still regret that. I wish I could get out from that. |

I thought about that user, but decided not to nominate him. The good thing he did was only a week ago, and that's why several people remember him. If this nomination would have been half a year later, chances are he wouldn't be the first one to think of. Maybe you are right but it is also right that things like this barely happen in the real world even, forgot about bitcointalk or any other online platform. So, this is something special and people usually don't forget someone like this easily. |
