Whats going to happen when micro payments are dead?  Cry

Some free/earn bitcoin sites will go away; some will adapt; some will continue business as usual.

Some sites already delay payments until a certain minimum balance is built up.

What are the advantages of LTC over the others? A lot of votes for it while nice doesn't provide much food for thought.

It's got what alt-coiners crave. It's got electrolytes!

El Bitcoin Gratis, freebitcoins etc. gives error 'Could not open socket'

Thanks for the report.  Are they still doing this for you?  I have noticed no problems with these sites.

btcfaucet.blogspot.ca added to the list.

0.00000001 BTC payout.

Thank you so much!!

De nada.

And I hope you put a reasonable portion of the money you make off all those ads and things into larger payouts of BTC for users of your faucet.

Namecoin seems the best as it actually does something different/useful.

+1

The only one, besides Bitcoin itself, worth looking at...

unless you are only into cryptocurrencies as some kind of get-rich-quick scheme...
in which case go ahead and play with your pump-n-dump coins; clone coins;
ponzi coins; scam coins; I-am-jealous-that-I-missed-the-early-adopter-stage coins...

~~

I like LTC and even though it is 99% the same as Bitcoin it is different enough
for me ( especially since my views are based on wishful thinking and not on actual
facts )...  it is magnitubes more secure than Bitcoin... I mean one can never be secure
enough right? I also use 100000 character passwords because they are magnitubes more
secure than 30 character passwords...  and there are no asics for scrypt coins... YET...
but when they come about we will just create moar clone coins that anyone can mine
with their toasters...

But wait... I missed the boat on LTC too... lets start a new one now that I am ready to
buy the latest one to get rich!!!

Hey!!!

Why don't we ( "we" meaning someone else ) create a new coin that is fair to everybody
( "everybody" meaning just me )??

Because it is so unfair for someone to create a new global payment system without
consulting me first!  ...  Well actually I did hear about it months ago but I didn't understand it,
and couldn't be bothered to learns nuthing about it, and so, of course, just assumed it was a scam...
it is so unfair that someone didn't tell me that it would be worth as much as it is right now!

Someone else told me that it was legit but still risky as an investment...  So Unfair!!
Why should I take a risk on something new???  Why can't someone create a new coin for me
that isn't risky and will make me rich beyond belief???  Why should I have to participate myself
to help improve things for the whole community?

Why doesn't someone give me something for free and wipe my butt for me while they are at it???

Life is so god damned UNFAIR!!!   I want my MOMMY!!!

Will add it to the list later today.

Also confirmed that Freebtc4all is still paying out... ten times what the above site is paying out: 0.0000001 BTC   Shocked

You are not a newbie anymore. Why don't you take your try-to-get-everybody-to-sell game to the speculation sub-forum?

Opinions are like assholes*...  You will find plenty of both there.    Wink

2538  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Can you add my faucet to the list? on: May 07, 2013, 03:14:48 AM
Just made a faucet, wondering if you can add mine to the list. It pays out once a day at 1 ubtc an address...

Hmm, in many places it says things like this, "don't forget to donate so we can finally open our Faucet!"

And what is with the faucet way down near the bottom of the page with this text:
"Successful request! You'll receive our payment in less than 24h."

Why does it say that when an address hasn't even been input into it yet?  And when I put an address into it and click the "get bitcoins!" button nothing happens.

I used the input form near the top so I will see if I get a payout... but it doesn't seem like you will be giving out much or for very long if you are relying on donations to fund your faucet...

Sorry, the one at the bottom was a test dummy that I made, I will be shortly deleting that. The top one gives out a small amount, about 1 ubtc, and I only needed donations to keep me going. I now have enough to give and stay stable for awhile with the help of some ads. I give out BTC from the top faucet manually, confirming each entry, at night, CST. No worries about the exploitation of the system.

Thanks for the explanation.

I don't think http://www.freebtc4all.com/index.php is giving free btc. After you submit, it says "This is the address you'll get the payment from: 1KUVuPQ6NAT2LzH8NEq35Rpyz79QWqks6B "

I have been submitting for a week and search for that address; nothing came through from that address.

Btw, I was shown that same payment-from address. When you check at blockchain.info it shows that it has been paying out,
but there is also this warning there regarding this address:
Warning! this bitcoin address contains transactions which may be double spends. You should be extremely careful when trusting any transactions to or from this address.

So just make sure you get lots of confirmations before you go trying to spend that 0.0000001 BTC.   Cheesy
