No banks will not dissappear because of cryptocurrency, at least not so soon, but maybe over 20 years or later, or maybe they will not dissappear even if time passes because governments will want to have them and control them more easy then crypto.

Yes, is so hard for this who bought bitcoin over 5k$ price and not selled, they will think now that lost a lot of money, but maybe some of them will wait for a bull run, and others will think that is better to sell now to not lose more. Anyway i still wait for a bull run.

They own i think almost 10%, but after more times passes they will own much more if they will buy, maybe after years pass they will own almost 20% or something close, but this depends how much cost bitcoin when they buy.

Yes, the price of crypto maket will recover but not in short time, you will need to wait more and also not invest more money that afford to lose, and some coins will die in my opinion because they are not adopted or can't be used in any domains.

To answer just to title, i would say yes but not all, some of altcoins are useless, besides there are some altcoins i like, some of them can be sent and received instantly and without pay a fee (Nano for example), and there are some altcoins which are used in some domains.
