personal opinion:  [but well researched]

POS maybe the best coin for the common man.
They maybe small cap markets, but all it takes to maintain a stable network is a few dozen strong hands.

TALK is determinedly focused on the discovery of which POS coins are flourishing and have solid communities.

POS tech maybe the most underrated toolkit in the cryptosystem, and some what shady 'master node' or 'delegate'  systems have been utilized by many ICO projects, and in reality they are just a version of the POS concept.

message to the future
(relatively near)

The UN is about developing relational connections with dozens of coins, in a decentralized manner.

In time, for example around the time of the 4th anniversary of uno genesis block one, this interconnection will be most advantageous to all current participant parties.

Currently the UN is primarily focused on being the sound base pair, due to low inflation, hence the ability to measure market trends in a straight forward linear direction.  The other primary base pair, BTC, is inflationary hence complex in pricing model.  Similarly, LTC, XMR, FTC, and other emergent base pairs have the inflationary characteristic.

In time, good things will come.

Happy Friday UNOverse!

re: the read

"Rapid Cold Storage"  very simple solution and very secure.
All the exchanges need to do is allow the option to 'cold store'.
The trade off is that you can not withdraw instantly, but most major exchanges could handle processing withdraws 'cold stored' every hour.

'D-L-Ex' could even do 'cold store' withdraws ... should custodial/escrow become a feature ... processing withdraws every odd numbered days @ noon EST.

this is just a thread to archive what the 'dev' is deleting or will delete.
2530  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [MARYJ] is dead on: September 02, 2016, 02:57:38 AM
Just a matter of time before the wallet is fixed . this has happened before. now if i didnt have to delete comments from a daily troll who is a dev of another weed coin that be pretty nice. if someone hates this coin so much why post daily for years...thats a pretty psychotic person I feel needs to be dealt with in a very serious manner. As I do not play games with stalkers. I take them very seriously. So I am waiting on taking care of a stalker situation I apparently have to put some serious concern into.

Ok super.

So please fix wallet ASAP and also try to get bittrex back up and running ASAP.  Then actually get your coin moving forward.

Not sure if you're referring to me in your "stalker / DEV"  comments, but I am neither.

If you and your family are in fact being "stalked", then that's a serious matter that does need to be addressed, but my postings here after you delete them in no way amounts to any type of "stalking".

Also, I can assure you that I am NOT a DEV or otherwise affiliated with any competing "weed coin".  I'm one of those meaningless "fake investors" you alluded to that comes to this cesspool of a website to speak my mind (as a dissatisfied investor) on coins/project that appear to be scams to me.

Deleting my posts without reading them, as you say you do, takes you less time than it does for me to cut 'n paste a repost.  Don't BS us all by saying this takes any real effort to "deal with me" as you put it......how about you just leave my comments / ignore them if you must, and address the valid questions/comments/concerns that are raised.  Don't lie to us and claim you're "working" on coin-related issues, because none of your posts and "updates" that come only after someone like me starts posting here (which have been only about what You say is a "trolling problem) suggest that you're doing anything, really.

You'd be better off just leaving the criticisms and proving wrong all the "non-believers" of which, clearly, I am one.

So, just to recap, I hope you are able to protect yourself and your family if you truly do have a "stalking issue" but if you're referring to my actions in this public forum as "stalking" then you'll just be wasting your time. None of my actions here (which is the only place I post regarding Maryj)....I don't follow you online) does not amount to any "stalking" recognized at law.  A claim for stalking against me you have not.

lol wow.

cause he went off the deep end awhile ago lmao.

HAHAHA deleting posts? REALLY? when your shit coin is dead as fuck?  you don't take the time to fix or promo your coin but yet you have time to come here and edit?!?!  laaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

you're lucky to be hiding out dev, what a bitch move to "run" a coin and let it die, even have some shitty pump groups on it over the 2yrs as well. lololol.  snake in the grass you are.  it's a shame someone like you even gets into crypto cause you're a sad human being with mental issues.

Wow. Sad.

The Adam censorship machine was turned on this morning and all my posts have been removed.......even those warning about Bleutrade and clarifications on how to safely withdraw your coins from Bittrex before they remove the MARYJ wallet completely in a few short days.......NICE!

If you're gonna remove my posts, at least give people an update on these issues; otherwise, censorship might actually lead people to believe your addressing them, which, I suspect, you're not.

Oh well...so looking forward to being proven wrong Cheesy

anyone has any contact with adam ?

Before coming to Colorado I had a Service and Repair Swimming Pool Company in Florida.  After working my way up in the pool industry learning from experience under business owners ; as you need to jump through hoops to get a contractors license in florida.  I learned how business owners would meet annually and decide on what they would set as the pay for their employees....I never participated in such meetings.   Guess some would say its my Anarchy side but I think its more of a preference to play fair.  I find its best to remain honest in any industry.

2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Tier Capital on: September 01, 2016, 02:15:58 PM
I say it hinges on your definition of "scam"
Most users in the Altcoin world refuse to discuss this though.
They won't put it out there in the fear they will be called out a hypocrite later.
Problem is many of the "usual suspects" here get trapped by accident (supporting shit coins)

First couple that came to mind for me were Steem + Ethereum
I also would say the fact they are an ICO is far more than enough to deem them "scammy"

I consider scam and scammy to be a little different.
A scam is more of a confirmed thing and scammy is harder to pin down (lacks concrete proof etc)

So take those two examples i just mentioned.
When we dig deeper on both ICO coins we see more red-flags.

For starters they were both NOT designed to be a "Currency"
But rather a scheme with a digital block-chain token tacked onto them.
One is "Blogging" and the other is "App's"

So you have to ask yourselves people were some coders and friends watching all this and thinking
hmm i need an idea / gimmick for a "coin" ?
Who wants to bet they were not brain storming idea frantically for a long LONG time ?
They NEEDED to come up with a scheme to tack a coin on.
Which in both cases simply ended up as always traded on Poloniex for PROFITS.
Coincidence ?

Nope.
How would you know ?
You look at their behavior early on.
And their coins design.
Steem was rigged from day one.. an unfair game that made the early adopters rich.
Ethereum was caught doing the same thing on ICO launch day on 2014 also !
And think about it people ..this does NOT happen by accident.
Nor is it likely these guys have made ONE coin.
These guys know damn well they have to launch a coin with a personal advantage to make them rich.

Unlike many of you who got here late..
I have been here every day watching the so called "Dev's" evolve their methods of getting a launch advantage.
There always seems to be a hidden secretive grey area where there is suspected guys in the shadows.
Take Max Coin for example..
It was speculated a lot the dev's / friends etc had a GPU miner.

Or think about BlockNET and his million dollar cash grab.
Or URO (the piss coin)

It seems to me the entire scene is willing to forgo "defining" what a "scam" is..
in order to profit some chump change while the leaders get filthy rich from it.

Ethereum's "Butters' managed to get himself many MILLIONS of dollars in Coins.
And no one really said fuck all when he publicly admitted to dumping a quarter of his "holdings"
Nor did that affect the price at all.. no one cared !
No one cared to ask *WHY* the guy had Millions on coins !

No one cared about the ultra hype and spam and blatant pump activity by a mysterious unknown group.
Who was buying ETH ICO coins in 100 BTC blocks non stop in 2014
I don't suppose it was the same guys pumping it in early 2016 huh ?
With Coindesk's close cooperation all along since 2014 LOL
..Butters was not the only one with SHIT LOADS of coins to dump.

Do we even NEED to dig deeper ?
Was this idea / gimmick a good idea ? "Smart Contracts"
Oh yeah ? who is using them ?
Nobody.
Was the DAO an inside job for more profits ?

Apparently it just doesn't matter or ETH would not be the no.1 coin hitting over $20 each.
You all knew what i said above and still made them 20 bucks a coin !
This tells all criminals and their dev friends around the world they are untouchable and can get away with anything.
They know they can rip you off and lie and cheat and steal and fuck with you all blatantly.
..then simply ignore the "FUD"
Just so long as you all can line up to get your tiny slice of the pie.

All users hang out here chanting Free market and defending GREED.
Then they have the nerve to say they support Blogging or APP's or Smart Contracts.
Which is a lie !
They support GREED as they said in a previous comment LOL

When the motivation of 98% of the users in crypto is profits then what do we see ?
A lawless Free (for all) Market scammy coin scene.
Pretend to be a support for profit and cry FUD for bucks $$$

What changes ?
almost a year ago now i counted 6,000+ ANN topics here.
Nothing changes.

What will be popular next ?
Who knows but it's not what the idiots say they are supporting.. it will be the next heap of scammy ICO bullshit for profit.
Because kids get bored..
Their "investment" has to keep moving or they get antsy with ADD.
These kidiots here are not usually going to sit on coins for 3 years as the next Ethereum comes along.
Which means coin #6,001 is coming and so on..

The corruption is masked in a shady grey area manufactured to exist on purpose.
This scammy ass ICO Altcoin scene is made the way it its for a reason.
"Free Market" is by design to be a cloak of darkness for thieves to operate.
A lack of a definition for scam is great for those that want to Shill coins and not be called a scam supporter LOL

Most times it should be blatant.
Unless you *NEED* to work..
Then you will show up here and say you were paid for some part of a project.
You will defend XYZ coin because you NEED to get paid making graphics or a miner etc for them.
Is the project legit ?
Who gives a fuck.. you need to get paid !
It's legit.. didn't you read the "White Paper" ?  Cheesy

..and i NEED to find something to "invest" in ..you all say.

Believe it or not guys i have done nothing but try and get you all THINKING for years.
It's not about me forcing my views on you all but getting you all to to think about your own perspectives.
AND what is going to be productive, healthy and constructive (in many ways)

Short term profit at a steep negative cost is not worth it.

to PoS or to PoSP
Lots of people say it, but few examine it.

Any PoS or PoSP coin that allows coins to stake less than 5 days will favor the whales, since they can stake pretty much all of the time and keep smaller blocks from staking.
Coins that only allow you to stake every 15 or more days, decrease the Whales ability to use Compound Interest to their advantage which gives people with smaller amounts a chance to stake. So the shorter the time frame the more Compound interest you can earn and the Larger the Whales become.
Sprouts is a Good example , a high interest 60% per month coin able to stake every 5 days , however the whales are staking so much , that even if you have a million coins all in one block it will be ~20 days before you can stake, people with less than a 100,000 per block will find it almost impossible to stake.

 Cool
