2521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 15, 2021, 07:36:29 PM
That’s the consequences they have to face on postponing this match and that’s fine for the defending champion because he can have more time to prepare and have a good trainings to defend his title and stay longer with it. We know that Japan is too strict with this, not unless they do this match on other country with a lesser restriction, this might push through early next year.
They can’t just change the venue easily, it will cost them huge money as well and beside Ioka is a Japanese so this might be the reason why they choose that location. Let’s deal with this since they already postponed the match and what to do next is to stay fit and active, stay focus and never get distracted by this delay. Ancajas has the advantage on this since he can still have more time to train because he is defending a huge title on his belt.
It is true that most likely this is not an easy thing to do, but if the fight is delayed for too long it will have to be canceled or they will have to change the venue of the fight, and I suppose that canceling the fight should be even more costly, after all we must understand that in order to reach top shape boxers need a full team of specialists working for them 24/7, and if there is no fight then this means all of those expenses would have been for nothing.
Oh well, if the fight is going to be cancelled then so be it. I mean this fighters have been training already when the news come out that it will be postponed because of Japan's health protocol. And so it is not sure when the fight will happen next year or not. If Ancajas will have another offer, then I would say grab it and win and then he can go back to Ioka again.
I think this fight has been postponed already because this will took place on New Year's Eve at Tokyo, Japan. And the Japanese government has issued ban on international flights to Japan and closing it's borders because of the omnicron variant. Just like Murata vs GGG, there's no schedule yet of when does the Japan will open again. But maybe sometime in the 1st quarter of January. I know it's frustrating because we already anticipated to watch this fight on this very month.
2522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2022,which the next trend?next the fortune code? on: December 15, 2021, 12:30:15 PM
People are talking about Web 3.0 related projects to be the next trend, so I assume by 2022 metaverse and Web 3.0 will most likely experience much hype, I already have some metaverse am holding, all I need is to add some good Web 3.0 projects to the list and see how next year will be.
It was just pure speculation, for now, we can't assure of that. But of course, we all got thinking this new development will gain such huge market interest which brings to such hypes and price increase. Doing an early investment is a huge risk but somehow, that suppose it going to happen anyway. Early investors got benefited more as they have the chance of buying at in cheap price but yeah, with high risk.

Well, it is something we got this metaverse development is getting hype now. What I guess is that this will surely gain market demand and for sure, a lot of investors are being positive about this.
2523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fed To decide the future of assets purchasing 14th December on: December 15, 2021, 10:53:31 AM
I never see how it gives an effect on the market, we're still not moving far as people think. The news wasn't big enough to push the market to pump and less likely it creates manipulations. Well, have to expect more useless news towards crypto, and also people will not consider it as a way out to make an investment or not.

People will make a buy at their preferred price even without this news. No more FUDs, fake news, and etc...ain't seeing this to have a market effect anymore, at least we learn our past.
2524  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: December 14, 2021, 06:35:27 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will touch the 1 million milestone in 2022? I think Bitcoin will cross 80 thousand dollars in 2022. What do you think?
I really think that it's quite impossible in the year 2022 to reach that $1 Million milestone, I mean, yes we really want to see bitcoin to reach another milestone and break another record but let's be real for now because that's just too far and bit much to expect next year. But surely, it will be moreover than just $80k next year, my speculation is that it will somehow reach $100k or more.
As more and more countries adopts bitcoin and make it as an official legal tender, then that means more stores will accept cryptocurrency specially bitcoin as a form of payment. That would mean so much to the market that it would really make the price surge.
2525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if governments make Bitcoin centralized? on: December 14, 2021, 05:27:21 PM
If governments legalize Bitcoin as legal tender, then there should be nothing stopping them from centralizing the cryptocurrency in its entirety. It'll be the end of decentralization as we speak.
I don't understand what made you jump to that conclusion. If governments all over the world suddenly made bitcoin legal tender, that would force almost all population, that is, banks, businesses, individuals, merchants, etc., to switch to that new legal tender.  Not only would it result in a higher price and greater awareness of bitcoin, but also it would result in more people willing to mine bitcoin or run their own bitcoin full node, which would make the bitcoin network even more distributed and decentralized. It is pointless for governments, especially big ones, to promote bitcoin by making it a legal medium of exchange because once people learn about how to be their own banks, they will no longer need to rely on centralized government-controlled entities. Why would they shoot themselves in the foot?

Exactly my sentiment as stated above. However I would also add the fact that if a government someday, somehow manages to centralise Bitcoin, then there will be other crypto's to take its place. Especially privacy coins. So trying to decentralise Bitcoin is not something that the government can do, I believe. And attempting it in the first place will only lead to a waste of money and time.
There's already a lot of governments who tried to manipulate or control bitcoin to make it centralize and make them the watch keeper about its transactions, but no government made a successful attempts including the famous Chinese government (CCP). It almost ridiculous to see and to know that the government is ready to waste some funds and time just to try to override the bitcoin system. And that's why the US government made the first cryptocurrency called the USD Coin (USDC). Bitcoin will always remain untouchable that's why bitcoin is the most safest and trusted coin of all time, thanks to the creator, SN.
2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 14, 2021, 05:02:40 PM
I bet this fight will be fun and exciting to watch soon, because their record and height difference have only small in gaps.
Another challenger from the land of boxers, Philippines, Mark "Magnifico" Magsayo vs. Gary Allen Russell who's also know about his speed and agility.
Magsayo have a 10cm reach advantage than Russell, also their KO rate have a slight gap, 85% and 79% respectively. But I guess it won't be a problem to the American boxer, but hopefully he can really fight well because he been inactive in the ring for almost 2 years this February.
2527  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: December 14, 2021, 03:51:15 PM
Day trading is time intensive because you need to fully master and put to use every methods ranging from fundamental analysis to technical analysis. I prefer long term hold because it gives me time to engage in other activities and it is more profitable. Day trading is only profitable when using a huge amount of money to trade.
Both methods can give you competitive returns or profits depending how much you invest to hold and how much you put to eventually trade. Also it depends if you are somehow an experienced trader or not, because if not, then holding bitcoins is your only best option. Just make sure that you have plans when to sell it so that you can make profits, it doesn't matter how much you invest, the bigger you put, the bigger the profits. And you can also buy at a fraction and buy again sometime later, it's just a matter of patience and timing.
But if you really want to trade, you can always learn it because it's not probably too late for you to learn. There's so many available methods and beginners guide in the internet if ever you want. Just put some extra effort to it.
2528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has Shiba Inu a bright future? on: December 14, 2021, 07:24:30 AM
shiba has been a pretty good meme coin to date. If in the long run it could have a future as good as a doge. But of course this will require a growing community to achieve that goal. It is somewhat risky because this kind of coin does not have a clear project. But now many like coins like this shiba.
Shiba is a new meme token that has emerged through the hype and is growing with the meme trend, so in general it's not worth saying it's good for now because to beat Dogecoin alone the Shiba Inu can only be for a moment before its position is taken again by Dogecoin
Shiba Inu has gained and also attracts investors that's why it got some potential but if you're gonna invest in some memecoins then dogecoin is the best thing you can invest as of memecoins because SHIB has a very long road to surpass DOGE. But don't forget that these typical coins are controlled by whales and only generates income due to pump and dump of the said whales. SHIB has unknown whales while DOGE has Elon Musk who manipulates the market.
2529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 13, 2021, 03:41:03 PM
Speaking of KD, nobody talking about the 51 piece he put up tonight?

Yes, because we are not surprised anymore, he is a great player and he can drop that numbers anytime. Durant is now the leading candidate for MVP, I must say based on my observation, and as he continues to play impressive basketball, there's a huge chance that he'll win the award. Brooklyn are really a good 4th quarter team, 30-13, that's the dominance they have.
Him, Curry and Giannis and to a certain extent Joel Embid is putting MVP numbers.

I really thought that the Pistons will take this one from them, but damn, they played really good defense in the fourth with Durant exploded.

And that's what have been missing for them, that fourth quarter closed out. And now it seems they've found their rhythm.

Nets are a decent team, they are not perfect but they are winning games, and thanks to Durant who is the most consistent on the roster. Look at Durant, he is really tough and deserve to be a future hall of famer as he is carrying his team even one of the big 3 is missing.  Durant just feeling it, we don't need speculate a lot as he is just putting the numbers and consistency that would brought him the MVP award.
I guess being an MVP each season is the one he's targeting and not just the championship, and as expected he's one of the candidates this year's season. He also probably knows that he can't carry his team as always because that ain't enough to win the finals. For now, only him and Harden continues to play, hopefully Irving will be back on the game soon.
2530  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 13, 2021, 11:16:48 AM
If Canelo is successful in Cruiserweight then he might stay there for a while, but yeah, him moving to Heavies? not gonna happen.

We aren't sure about that. Once a boxer is undisputed in every weight class, he is qualified for the next level. Their body is now switching to adopt a much heavy challenge as the training becomes more intense too. Canelo can move up a bit higher than Light Heavyweight if that's the goal but not a priority.

As of now, Canelo wants to destroy every fighter on the way regardless of their status. If where he will end up, we don't know.
That's exactly what I'm thinking also, Canelo is not planning to stop in cruiserweight division if ever he defeats Makabu, no that's not in his plan. Can't you see that he's accepting any rematch from any of his former opponents that he defeated? He's planning to move any division he wants with a goal to defeat any undisputed fighter.

But it will be dangerous for him bouncing in weight though, so I guess he would either have to stick to this new division or go to LHW with Beterviev or Bivol waiting for him it Cruiserweight will be too much for him.

He give GGG a rematch though, but we wanted a 3rd fight but Canelo doesn't want it and decided to move to 168 lbs. And he can't move to Heavyweight either, I think that's out of his options for now. So either 175 lbs or cruiserweight for him.
That's exactly what I'm also thinking, cruiserweight is his maximum reach and limit because if he will still decide to go heavyweight, it's already too much for him considering his weight and diet needed. There are a lot more stronger boxers than him that is natural to their weights even in crusierweight like Makabu. So that leaves him only 2 options, it's either CW or LHW, no more higher or lower than that division.
2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin in the highest level of trust? on: December 13, 2021, 08:15:56 AM
Why do you even think that bitcoin is trusted? I know many traders who do not trust at all, but simply work for the reason that this is the most famous currency.
And what makes you even think that bitcoin isn't trusted or even reliable? You should put your own opinion, you are just saying that because you know some traders who allegedly do not trust bitcoin at all. You are supposed to put your opinion based on your idea and experiences about bitcoin. Lol
Another anti-bitcoin spotted  Grin

The fact that bitcoin is still standing tall until this very day for the past decade or 12 years, that alone can tell you about bitcoins reliability. Ofcourse it's the most famous currency of all time because there are lots of investors who trusts bitcoin mate.
2532  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: December 12, 2021, 06:21:20 PM
A recent situation in my country where the banks have been instructed to block accounts related/associated with crypto trading has prompted me to start thinking if these banks are actually happy carrying out government policies against their customers, because some of them seem not too happy about it but look to have little or no choice on the matter.

Can the banks challenge the policies from the government? Are the banks working for the people or the government? is there any possibility that banks can operate freely entirely from government policies?

(Read news article here)

I think most banks has their own policies and the government has nothing to do with accounts that they block or restrict due to crypto transactions. As for me, they're just trying to control fraudulent transactions. However, there are also trusted banks that don't do account blocking and liquidate crypto transactions. I think we should only pick trusted banks.
Yes, there are other banks that is fair and just, whom doesn't interfere with other matters that is not reflecting or may harm certain banks. But naturally, banks do obey what governments are told them to do, besides it's where they get their licensing and policies. So what do we expect? They can't just disobey the government that easily because they aren't independent.
2533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 12, 2021, 01:07:56 PM
Don't worry. Jake Paul's reputation won't be changed even he will win continuously unless he will now fight a real professional boxer in their prime.
Without knowing what went on behind the scenes, and seeing evidence of Tommy's injuries we can't really assume this was a dodge. So, we can't really blame Jake Paul for Tommy pulling out. I wouldn't hold it against Jake in this case, I'm not a huge fan of Jake Paul, but he isn't the one to blame. Although, that doesn't mean Tommy is to blame either, accidents, and injuries happen there's no real way of avoiding them. Just unfortunate timing.

Woodley on his day isn't a slouch, I think the concern is his day was about 10 years ago. Nah, but seriously Woodley still possesses the ability to knock out Jake Paul, and that's what makes this fight at least a little bit interesting.
The only disadvantage of Tommy of pulling out is he can't make money of their supposed to be fight because of injuries, and those injuries isn't acquired meaningly to avoid the fight, no, it was really an accidental one.
Woodley made a decision to train before hand incase of emergencies like this that some fighter will have to step-up to the plate to provide the people entertainment for the tickets had paid. Somehow, Woodley knew this, and Jake Paul should really watch out for this fight because he isn't safe from his revenge.
Not just that, Tommy Fury is also losing he's face to the crowd for pulling out just a few days from the fight, whatever the reasons of pulling out either from injury or caught from Covid-19, people will always see it as a circus act because the fight has favored Jake Paul well and there's nothing from the Team Fury can do about it.
As for this fight, I kind of like this more, Woodley can able to redeem his lost from their last match. I bet Woodley is more than ready in this fight, this is going to be entertaining to watch.
It's quite disappointing that it's back when they will be competing in a few weeks.
But on the other hand, even if you say that, actually I will still respect his decision if it is about his medical problem.
better discontinued than risking fury on her health. I feel that if there really is a problem with his health, retreating is a good thing to do and focus on restoring his body condition first.
Lucky for them that we understand their situations and conditions, but for other spectators, Tommy Fury have just made an excuse so that he can't fight against Jake Paul. I'm not saying that I'm one of those people but what I'm trying to say is that mostly, that's what people thinks of him. I truly understand why Tommy pulled out from the fight, he can't risk that kind of condition just to sastisfy the crowd.

Just made a valuable post and don't expect merit a lot, I'm pretty sure the merit source knows what they are doing and they will give merits to posts they think are deserving. If you think more of making  good posts than earning merit, that would reward you someday with merits as eventually, they'll see your posts if they haven't seen it now.

I've seen a lot of members here starting from newbie to Legendary, so earning merits and ranking up is possible, so just enjoy staying in the forum, don't pressure yourself a lot of not getting any merit as it's not a must.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: coinmarketcap or coingecko on: December 02, 2021, 11:40:14 AM
coinmarketcap or course, it's easier to use and I get used to it eversince.

I also check on coingecko sometimes for some projects that are not listed yet in CMC, but since I love to invest on projects that are already listed in big exchanges or with a decent volume already, then I can stick with coinmarketcap for all my needs in terms of information.
2539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 01, 2021, 10:58:48 PM
Is this match will come true or only just a speculation? Though we all know that Logan Paul fights exhibition matches to anyone including Mayweather but it's different with Mike Tyson, we know that the old man is very competitive and won't allow anyone to defeat him. We are sure that that Tyson will defeat him but we don't know what would be the casualty.

As the name suggests, this is just an exhibition fight. Mike Tyson should be able to defeat Paul Logan in minutes even at this age. However, we do not really know if it will be a real fight, or if they agreed in advance that they would fight so as not to hurt themselves, and in the end it will be a draw.

I had not contemplated this option, a possible tie may be the best solution and with that they are all good and happy, although I say something Mayweather and any other fighter cannot be compared with Mike Tyson, although despite everything I know that Tyson is a Gentleman above all and he respects, the logical thing would be that they could be in a tie, but it is only a theory, at the sporting level everything is possible, in boxing anything can happen, besides Tyson it is understood that he would undoubtedly be the winner.

A tie or a draw is possible, and the odds are relatively high for this kind of result, so if you can choose a winner which I think you will bet on Tyson, also try to put a bet on the draw just in case it will turn out to be a close fight and the judges will score it as draw.
2540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: December 01, 2021, 10:17:05 PM
Butler has 33-2 record, maybe his fight highlights are not so impressive but he has the capacity to beat Casimero.
His 2 losses are coming from Emmanuel Rodriguez and Zolani Tete, and he has never lose a single fight since 2018 (after his loss to Emmanuel Rodriguez)

I'm excited now knowing that the fight is less than 2 weeks from now.
Hopefully, free live streaming will be shared.

Paul Butler's 33-2 record is impressive but the problem for him is the quality of opponents he had faced. Only Emmanuel Rodriguez and Solane Tete are popular (at least to the boxing world) and he losses to both of them. While Casimero has fought battles all over the world and never loses one, this might be his advantage over Butler IMO.

Some bookies have already the odds, Casimero 1.03, Butler 9.40.
A very huge underdog, I will be waiting for more options as there will be some in the next few days before the fight.

Do you mean crypto bookies? Can you share a site that is already offering the odds now? I checked last night and I could not find a crypto site that has the betting odds yet, so I might be looking at the wrong site.

here are some of the crypto betting sites that has the odds already.
