2521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 27, 2020, 01:47:34 PM
I really appreciate the hard work that Op has done to promote bitcoin. and I think explaining bitcoin directly like holding a seminar is the most appropriate way to promote cryptocurrency. because we can explain cryptocurrency in detail to many people. and if seminar participants ask questions about cryptocurrency we can immediately answer and explain cryptocurrency to him.

and that is the reason why he had a headache afterwards. It really takes a lot of patience to educate even the basics to newbies in crypto. So kudos the OP!. Even one person needs a lot of hard work before he can truly understand how to deal with crypto. it takes more than one session for them to fully grasp how crypto works. try sending them few satoshis and let them convert it to your local fiat to prove to them that you can have real money from crypto. if you can't afford to do that, just get your money back in fiat. At least you have shown to them that you can spend their crypto by exchanging it to usable currency.
2522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀MVP on IOS & Android🚀⭐Marketplace, Fiat-Crypto, Lending, Debit Cards +More!⭐ on: January 27, 2020, 01:43:29 AM

I think they closed the channel to prevent unnecessary posts. There will be swap of their token so I think they will open it again after the swap. I am closely following this one, because I am a holder of HBRS also. But for those with important questions, I think you should pm the admin or any staff. They always do answer.

I hope once the swap is over, their value will increase. Fingers crossed.  Cheesy

Close the channel before swap and open it again after swap? lol

Swap will not increase the price, look at the trading history no one buy this token
But I hope I'm wrong
Good luck

i still have hope for this token. i am also holder of this token from what i got in signature campaign. i didn't manage to sell it before it plunged down to 1 sat. so what will i do now is wait after the swap, if there will be significant improvement in their development side. and if there's not, just a collectors token here.  Grin i am seeing that the team is doing their best because of their collaborations with other companies. however, they are not like other projects that practice the pump and dump situations. they literally let the traders do their trading.
2523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chonnectchain | [Airdrop] Soon on: January 26, 2020, 11:52:39 PM
can you share how much the rate for each token that available for sale?

It is already trading at bitmart crypto exchange the price is around $0.04 for each tokens. And I need information about tokens sales already over? So we need clarification about it from cctn team.
https://www.bitmart.com/trade/en?symbol=CCTN_USDT)

i hope this one is not a short-lived one. as airdrop as one of their attractions here, which is really not a sustainable program because once those hunters got their share, they will just dump it at any price. let's admit it, airdrop is for everyone to know your existence but do they really care about your long term objectives? i don't think so. so better look for other programs that will truly aid you in sustaining your followers.
2524  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: January 26, 2020, 11:16:38 PM
I can't imagine that cryptocurrency usage may have such a big influence on the world economy. I consider it as a result of the developed economy.
Cryptos are in the way of being a part of world's economy that is why we are facing regulatory issues on decentralized currencies. But sure cryptos have the potential to reach a place that influences the world's economy if everyone tends to know about cryptos.

transparency is one thing that blockchain technology is addressing. if there will be transparency in the government, i think there will be less corruption and will boost the economy. aside from the fact that blockchain technology will save huge amount of money in terms of operations. the use of crypto within the operations of any business will smoothen the transactions at a very low cost. so i believe the usage of crypto will help the economy and not make it worst. if only people will know how to truly utilize crypto, they will reap the benefits of using it.
2525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 26, 2020, 10:24:03 PM
At present, no bank cryptocurrency has been created, so we still cannot confirm anything in this market. But most likely it will never replace bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized. Besides Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency of this market and certainly no one can overcome it
Any coin controlled by banks is not currently created but we can think from now that what will it have effect on the whole crypto market. According to my observation if these coins will be created then the government will announce he complete system of that coin and with that it will spread the awareness of digital currency in every part of the country. In this way the government will play a vital role in promoting the crypto currencies in every part of the country.

this scenario will be a long way to go to happen. and right now, bitcoin can't be replace by any centralized cryptocurrency created by the government. bitcoin can be owned by anyone without the intervention of the government whereas, crypto owned by the government will need a lot more documentation before someone owns that coin. so bitcoin and this supposedly government crypto coin have different usage and benefits. it depends on the user's priorities and what suits him best for the given situation.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MN/PoS] Midas.Investments - The most convenient masternode ecosystem on: January 26, 2020, 09:23:23 PM
i like the fact that you highlighted the feature of midas exchange that you have no wash trading but real traders only. hopefully you can keep your trading activity that way and not deceive traders. if you will start right in managing your exchange, i believe, traders will noticed it and slowly they will come on board. if they are satisfied with the features like earning rewards and zero fee trading with midas lock-in, they will get more traders to go your exchange. will be signing up as well as you don't have kyc also.
2527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people debate so much about BTC value? on: January 25, 2020, 11:54:41 PM
Volatility is an eminent factor that we never ended this debate about Bitcoin going to X or going to Y. Bitcoin will go somewhere else and wherever it is we don't know of that for sure. We are so concerned about its volume coz that is how we measure its growth and prices. Everyone wants high volume and to the fact that they could generate gains for their investment. It was like to think that we are just played by its volatility and so people would never be quiet and stop thinks for an X and Y.

because if no one talks anymore about bitcoin, then, we are doomed.  Tongue talking and discussing about its price is good for the community but not to the point that if you are an investor, you will rely on speculations. you will gain insights on what's happening around crypto and learn the factors influencing its price but definitely not a single factor can change its course. it is a combination of so many players and so people have a lot of things to talk about...
2528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most popular cryptocurrencies for investors? on: January 25, 2020, 10:50:07 PM
Nothing relatively new about the article tbh. If you were to stay in the cryptoscene for a month, or at least, stay in the forum and read for a month, you'd have this basic knowledge of the market already. Bitcoin is a natural, heck, we all know how a lot of traders have started holding BTC since long ago. There was also a recent post here in the forum that details about how a majority of BTC hasn't really been moved, or has not moved ever since being held in traders' wallets.
I guess OP didn't tend to do the right research because he was busy trying to make a thread that would lead to his article, i just don't know if that article was his but i am assuming since he posted a link too. An old traders already know what is the best coins to invest because they spend too much time looking for those coins that has a good outcome in the future.

anyway, he is free to express his opinion on this matter. the article is more of informational purposes especially for newbies in crypto trading. but should not believe all the things stated. should do your own homework and uncover for yourself what's really in it for a coin to invest with. crypto investment has a lot of factors to consider with, and that will be learned by time and experience. you can't tell someone that a particular coin is good because of its price or market cap or whatever it is, just let him discover which one suits him best.
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance price prediction for 2020 on: January 25, 2020, 10:04:19 PM
Bnb is a good coin to reckon with. There's every tendency it will grow above $20 before the year ends. Binance will do their possible best for their own coin to skyrocket than ever when the bull season starts. The future seems very promising, investing and hodling bnb coin

but remember all those prices are just mere speculation. everything should be taken with high precaution especially if you are a big-time investor. you may gain a lot or you may lose a lot. so what will happen to your investments depends on your choices, so you should do your own assessment before making any decision. don't just rely with someone else's prediction even if they are self-proclaimed experts. in the end, they do not care about your investments.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] StepChain : A Responsible Fitness App on: January 25, 2020, 11:22:20 AM
what happened to the OP? why it was deleted? any update on this project as I am following the progress of it aside from the above posts? installed the app and right now using the freemium level. so i was surprised why suddenly there's no content in the OP. am i missing something here?
2531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🚀🔥[ANN] BITHERCASH - Combaining Digital Assets with Traditional Businesses🔥🚀✅ on: January 25, 2020, 08:51:58 AM
i think you need to edit your faq section regarding where you can buy bithercash. it says, you are listed in tradesat. but when you check it in tradesat, bithercash is not there anymore. and also, publish on your website regarding your IEO details as not everyone can see the announcement from the catex side.

2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 24, 2020, 11:31:03 PM
Everyone know that the future of economy of the world is connected with digital currency, So the Banks are issuing their own digital currencies and this trend is increasing day by day. Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What do you think about it? Share your opinions
Probably not. If banks are issuing their own digital currency then it will also be a fiat currency only in virtual money, so it is impossible for bitcoin to be replaced because bitcoin is still unique and valuable to the digital currency that is created by banks, and bitcoin is decentralized that no one can control it.

that is exactly the main difference of bitcoin and the digital currency created by banks. they still have the full control as it is centralized. whereas, bitcoin is decentralized and you, as the owner, can have the full control of it. if you value your privacy, bitcoin will still be your choice. though at some point, you will need the use of their digital currency, but at least you know already how to deal with crypto. so bottomline, bitcoin can't be replaced by their currencies.
2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] TecraCoin (TCR) | PoW/PoSe - Hi-Tech Patented Technologies on: January 24, 2020, 10:28:16 PM
seems that the tecra development is on progress here. if you can really produce your product at the shortest time possible, this might be one of the legit projects that truly realize their objectives. very few can deliver their mission and have their product ready for consumption of the public. once your product is launch, i guess the increase of your coin's value is to be expected. and with more buyers of your product will give a sustainable reason of your survival here in crypto. good luck!
2534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Okay. What is the main factor that boosts Altcoin value? Popularity or Tech? on: January 24, 2020, 02:03:48 PM
If we're talking about altcoin, it will be tchnology first before popularity. It's the technology that boosts the popularity of altcoins. And when altcoins gain more popular, it leads to a pump with altcoin's price. It's the technology that helps altcoin to receive attention because of the advancement and innovation. Because if not for technology, why do you think altcoin will get popular?
It technically is a mix of both of those factors that an altcoin prevails or not. Most of the time there are altcoins with good technology, but fail otherwise because of low publicity. On the other hand, there are dying altcoins in the market even if they are well-known ones because of the lack of development. So it's really both of these factors that decide whether an altcoin rises or not.

Or the technology of the project is great but it has no practical use in our day to day living. so it doesn't attract attention from the community. sometimes, the developer should look into practicality of things where even the masses can utilize the product or app. because without its patrons or users, the project will not earn and so it will die sooner. so for me, technology with wide scope of usage and coverage.

any plans for NYC this year to change the dull trend in the market? as you can see, for the past one year, there's nothing much to see from your trading market. one pump for the past year. i think this one is dying soon. hope i am wrong with my impression...

hope i can read a different convo here not only bashing and nagging.  Tongue

2537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 23, 2020, 10:49:28 PM
~snip
I can only bet for Pacquiao whichever he fight. I really think there will be the need for Pacquiao to fight before 2022 for his political plans. Its a double win for him even if he loses the match. It might not even be any of the two because its Arum who will decide for it. But I'd be entertaining to see Conor and Pacquiao I want to watch some trashtalk.
I can bet that you will not see any kind of trash talking from Manny Pacquiao as he is a cool chap and i have never seen him trash talk any of his opponents and even during face off if the opponent is aggressive he usually smiles and all his talk is inside the boxing ring and he completed 25 years in boxing which is crazy with 71 professional bouts and hundreds of amateur bouts he had during his younger days.

trash talking is really not Pacquiao's forte. he really never did that to his opponents. that's why he is really an admirable boxer. but many of his opponents did! and those that were really hitting him with trash words, were those that fell on the canvass hard. but yeah, if McGregor will fight him, expect that he will trash talk Pac. anyway, that will help in boosting the audience number. another good tactic for promotion. but don't expect it coming from Pacquiao.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 03:43:41 PM
As of now, more than 10,000 different altcoins exist. And none of them have managed to give tough challenge to Bitcoin, which happens to be the original cryptocurrency. And the OP is talking about a scenario in which some new coin is going to do what all these thousands of alts failed to do. Theoretically, it may be possible. But I don't think that it will happen anytime soon.
In that amount of altcoins that are created in the field of cryptocurrency, there are few cryptocurrencies that are good enough to give tough and tight challenge to bitcoin and the reason why they are not competing or receiving a lot of attention is because, people are not that open minded to look for other opportunities because they are brainwashed that bitcoin is only the best coin make investment.

i don't want to use the term brainwashed. but maybe, not open minded. the popularity of bitcoin usage can't really be overcome by most projects that are offering more benefits than bitcoin. truly, there are several projects that were created to be much superior than bitcoin, however, they can't compete with bitcoin because as you said, they are not open minded people. we want to stick with btc as much as we are stuck in using USD as the global currency. if you know someone who is not into crypto, if you ask if he has any idea with crypto, and the first thing that will come up to his mind, is bitcoin. all the other alts are just secondary or most of them don't know their existence.

Wow this project looking amazing. I am very happy that I have found this project and I am very excited.  I really like this project. Hopefully this project will succeed.

reading the thread, I feel that the team who is involved with this is sincere with their mission. And admit it, not many people are into art as the perception on this industry is that this is for the privileged ones. But looking at their price, this one is really a good find for those who want to own a digital art that can't afford to have a real painting in canvass. and we are in the digital age anyway, right? So better own a digital artwork that might be valuable in the future, who knows?   Wink
