2541  Other / Meta / Re: Who was your April fool Best? on: April 09, 2023, 12:43:40 PM
@T3PR00T
You should have created a poll together with the thread where people can vote and where we can see the results.

Considering that Royse777's new Sinbad thread had 10 pages, my vote goes to him as the clear winner. What I noticed the day after April Fools is that it shrank to 8 pages. I can't believe that people were deleting the "evidence" that they got tricked. That too was equally funny to me to the fact that we got tricked. Or maybe they expected some backlash from managers of their current signature campaigns and deleted their applications. It's funny either way.

Theymos's wasn't bad, but since we have gotten used to him doing something every year, we knew that something was coming. It was only a question of what. I like how the game wasn't playable, though, and that the damn bird fell every time you tried to collect the coins.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what TryNinja did Huh

2543  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: April 09, 2023, 08:32:25 AM

2544  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: April 09, 2023, 08:02:57 AM
Nisam čitao ni tvoj ni jedan drugi review.
2545  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Bitcoin-store.hr zbirni topic on: April 09, 2023, 07:50:17 AM
I jedno i drugo.

@Bitcoin Store

2546  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: FTX Trading Ltd.- mjenjačnica kriptovalute on: April 09, 2023, 07:21:55 AM
Dvije zvanične stranice su www.ftx.com/eu i https://ftxeurope.eu/.

https://www.cysec.gov.cy/en-GB/public-info/decisions/93547/

Quote
Withdrawals will be available only to customers of FTX EU LTD who opened their accounts through FTX.com/eu(i.e., after March 7, 2022).  This announcement does not relate to any customers of any other FTX group businesses, even if such customers are located in Europe.

Budi pažljiv i sretno!
2547  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: rollbit scam (255 USDT) on: April 09, 2023, 06:36:18 AM
Can you record the proof on video and post the link of the video here to see what's going on.
OP claims their account has been banned, so there is nothing to take a video of. All they could do is take a video of unsuccessfully trying to log in to their account.
Rollbit Razer has already posted in the thread, saying they are aware of the player's activities and that they have had accounts on Rollbit before that have been banned. Since the previous account(s) got banned for sports abuse, it safe to assume the most recent one was also banned.

The only question that remains is whether hugarden2 is the person Rollbit suspects them to be.
2548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is your ideal cryptocurrency? Why? on: April 08, 2023, 03:52:30 PM
Everyone has their favorite crypto like I preferred bitcoin because there are lots of benefits of bitcoin, immediate settlement, greater liquidity, international transactions, security and direct transfer.
What does immediate settlement mean to you? is it when someone sends you bitcoin or you send it to another person and the balance changes immediately? Is that immediate settlement? Or are you talking about exchanges to fiat, where a payment processor converts a received amount according to current market rates? If it is, how is it different from other cryptocurrencies? Bitcoin has an average block time of 10 mins, so the balance update you see immediately isn't confirmed yet in the blockchain. The generally accepted transaction finality is 6 blocks.

You mentioned international transactions. I haven't experimented with too many altcoins, but those I did try don't have issues with international transactions either. Crypto, not just bitcoin, doesn't know and need geographical restrictions. It's the same thing with direct transfers. They all move from Wallet A to wallet B if you want them to.

With Ethereum, there was a time around 2021 to 2022 when Ethereum's gas fee shot up like crazy
Bitcoin's mining fees have gone up significantly following the introduction of Ordinals. But that doesn't change the quality of what Bitcoin is. Ethereum's problems lie elsewhere. For example, centralization and the fact that transactions can be reversed if Vitalik and the Ethereum Foundation believe it's in their best interest to do that.

Other Cryptocurrencies are altcoins which means alternative altcoins
'Altcoin' is already a compound word made up of the words 'alternative' and 'coin'. Because of that, we don't say that an altcoin is an 'alternative altcoin'. 'Altcoin' is self-explanatory.
2549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I get merits on a post. on: April 08, 2023, 02:51:52 PM
You don't walk into a world-famous company and ask how to become a General Manager, get a company vehicle, and a six-figure salary.
You are at the beginning of your journey. You are at the bottom of the pyramid. If this is, in fact, your first journey here. Your focus should be on learning how the forum works and what it is that we do here. We discuss and share knowledge about Bitcoin, how to use it, where, how, and why. Once you reach a point where you can take part in such discussions, understand them, and share your own experiences, that's when your merit count will start increasing.

What do you know about Bitcoin?
Do you own any?
Do you play to buy/earn some?
How do you know about merits (as a new user), and what are you going to use them for?
2550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another scam email attempt on: April 08, 2023, 09:45:38 AM
This has been circulating for a long time. It's the usual we know you are masturbating and will show it to everyone if you don't pay us scam. It shouldn't make anyone worried. But they got the password you used on a website that was breeched. That might be enough for some people to start thinking that the threat is real. It isn't. What is real is that at least one of your passwords have been leaked, and any website you used with the same password/email combination could be in danger. The scammer has nothing else.
2551  Other / Off-topic / Re: Malicious keylogger and PassGAN created using ChatGPT on: April 08, 2023, 08:24:58 AM
ChatGPT won't create or provide answers to anything that is illegal or what it is programmed to deem illegal. But the problem is, you just need to tweak your question or request a little bit and what was initially unacceptable is suddenly fine and OK according to their TOS. I am sure that's how people trick the AI to make it create such code for them.

I wouldn't recommend that anyone enter their actual passwords on https://www.homesecurityheroes.com/ai-password-cracking/. But you can enter something similar if you are really curious. A password made up of lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters would take billions of years to bruteforce according to that site. And they are pretty easy to generate.
2552  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my expirience on site Trustdice.com SCAM on: April 08, 2023, 07:31:23 AM
One more casino SCAM casino defender.
Why are you throwing shit at people who are trying to help you find out the truth? holydarkness has followed this case from the beginning and is not defending the casino. The language barrier is a big problem, but that's your fault, not his. If you don't understand the language, get help from a family member or a friend who understands English. Translate it with Google Translate or ask for clarification.

The casino has 4 more days to respond and decide the next step. Patience is a virtue, but also a must in cases like this.
2553  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: rollbit scam (255 USDT) on: April 08, 2023, 07:10:59 AM
Isn't it easier to provide some evidence here?
It surely would be easier, but you won't find many casinos willing to share any sort of evidence publicly for everyone to see.

I'm sure that they don't give a damn and they won't write anything else here, they have such an attitude towards the players.
If you got that opinion about Rollbit, even more reason to request a mediator to step in and take a look at your story and the evidence the casino has against you. The way things stand now, you are not getting your money back as Rollbit believes you are guilty. No one here can possibly know if you are or aren't.
2554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WINTOMATO.com scam 4300 usdt on: April 08, 2023, 07:02:34 AM
Very simple example is 1xteb. Their reputation on the forum is now below -71°C, as cold as Yakutia but look at all TV channels around the world, big football leagues everywhere you will see they are promoting the service. Advertisers give a zero fuck to it.
Good example. Still, it's worth mentioning that the scams come from 1xBit (the crypto casino/sportsbook), while their sister company 1xBet (fiat casino/sportsbook) is a major player in sports worldwide. For example, it's a betting partner of the Italian Serie A. If you visit their official website (https://www.legaseriea.it/en), one of the first things you see is the pop-up to 1xBet after a few seconds.
2555  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: April 08, 2023, 06:38:02 AM
You may try these methods to solve your login problem.
It worked after I cleared the cookies my device stored for this website.

However, I want to inform you that Betfury is no longer offering the free crypto boxes to the newcomer. You have to be at least rank 2 user for accessing the crypto boxes (see this post). They are offering 'Fury Wheel' to all ranked users, and it has different prizes for each rank.
I removed information about the free crypto boxes and mentioned they have a magic wheel instead. Several other casinos offer the same type of reward structure with up to 5 spins sometimes.

There is no change in MintDice faucets. You can still see their faucet information without logging into your account.
I managed to check it after creating an anonymous account. The casino allows to do that without verifying your email.
2556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some scams that can be avoided that people failed to check!!! on: April 07, 2023, 06:43:52 PM
Points 1 (phishing sites) and 5 (fake sites) are pretty much the same thing. You could have combined the two and taken the best sentences from each paragraph.

One may be easier to avoid than the others, though, as in a fake Binance site is easier to determine than a fake Binance email which may even carry the words official or staff or team or whatever.
Binance and some other exchanges allow you to set up an anti-phishing code that will be displayed in the email you receive. Only legit emails can have that code. If you see this in a fake Binance email, then their servers got compromised.

You forgot to mention by far the best practice to avoid downloading fake apps and it is to avoid Google Play completely and instead download apps directly from developer's website.
There is nothing wrong in downloading apps from the Play Store as long as you know what you are downloading and trust the developer or company. But you shouldn't use the Play Store to search for the apps manually. Instead, go to the official website and follow the link from there. Most of the time, it will take you to the Play Store. Standalone .apk files on the official websites aren't that common as apps stored on the Play Store.
2557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Btc mining or staking crypto? on: April 07, 2023, 06:13:15 PM
I wouldn't waste my time with either mining bitcoin or staking altcoins right now.

As people have already told you, you need to make significant investments in hardware to even begin mining. And you need a place to put it together and cool it down. Not to mention the electricity costs and whether or not it's even worth it in your place of living, depending on how expensive electricity is in your country.
Ever since Electrum switched to PoS, the altcoin mining is a big desert. There aren't that may good options.

Staking altcoins means giving them to someone else, hoping they wont lose them because of their risky business ventures. Looking at what happened with several staking platforms recently, forget about it.

Take that money you wanted to invest in mining or staking and buy bitcoin with it. Put it in a good hardware wallet and leave the coins there long-term.
2558  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WINTOMATO.com scam 4300 usdt on: April 07, 2023, 01:32:56 PM
So what secret?
If I tell you how I found out that you are lying and cheating, I am showing you the mistakes you made. You now know what you need to correct and change to cheat and lie better. But it's not only you. Anyone reading (including other cheaters) can learn from your mistakes and do it differently. I agree with you that it's a complicated subject. But we still can't expect public trials just because we as a community believe in different standards regarding transparency. The real business world is far less transparent.
2559  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: rollbit scam (255 USDT) on: April 07, 2023, 01:22:17 PM
Since this case involves an issue with sports betting, I don't think Casino Guru and Ask Gamblers will consider it. I remember they only handle casino disputes looking at some past cases. You will have to find someone else. Some services that were mentioned before include The Pogg, Casinomeister, and Gamblescope.

I don't know anything about the quality or neutrality of their services, though. That's something you will have to check yourself.
2560  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: April 07, 2023, 12:51:40 PM
You can safely wager anonymously thanks to cryptocurrency.
Wager and lose, sure. But wager and win big, and you will most probably be required to undergo KYC and have your game history and identity put under the microscope in search for possible term and rule violations. Gambling with crypto anonymously doesn't really work in 2023 like it did in the past. Your right to privacy is slowly but surely getting taken away.
