2541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 102: The Provably Fair Slots (with poll) on: April 02, 2021, 04:00:57 PM
Update!

#10 Elf Quest Slots - Tower.bet

A nice provably fair adventure/fantasy-themed slots game. It has the scatter and wild symbol, and three or more scatters will trigger the feature spin. In fact, there are three feature modes: "Caravan Robbery, Dwarf's Mines, and Dragon Tower." HOWEVER, it has a 94.58% RTP. Damn, after all the good parts, why crappy RTP?!

I had so much hope for the new game, but it broke my heart. 94.58% RTP as stated on FAQ is lower than most of the 3rd party slots Cry

Scarab Spin
I recommend Sugar Rush mate. We did play Scarab a lot, and probably it's time to change scenery.
2542  Economy / Economics / Re: More bullish news: Paypal will alllow crypto checkout on: April 02, 2021, 02:30:11 PM
Sadly, PayPal is a crappy payment gateway for Indonesian businesses as the exchange rate fees and merchant fees in total taxing my business soo hard. I'd rather take instant coins (like TRX or XRP) to the exchange and withdraw from there, but it's fuckin illegal Grin

What's best is something like Bitpay/coinspayments, but with less fees, and a wider network. Imagine shopping from a Binance account...

Any promos which is based on wager will be suitable for those who have higher bankroll but it wont be suitable for us with smaller bankroll  Wink
Users can wager easily with dice or similar games that have low HE. Slots player is at a disadvantage if the platform provides dice, etc. Yeah, I know there is only dice duel on Duelbits so it might not be applicable. My point is if the promotion is aimed to increase slot players, it would be best to tailor the promotion to fit the theme.

Slots = multiplier, big win Wink

This is the area where other big platforms seem didn't care as they put dice (the wagering machine) next to slots (the rekt machine), and use wager to rank up, as competition, get profit-sharing tokens, etc.

If duelbits is going to have another raffle like the one they did on Christmas, I think they can just do the same where players can claim tickets every single day. Requirements can be the same as well, players who made deposit at least $xx in the last 7 days can claim the free tickets. Frankly speaking, I would like to see different requirement, because the previous requirement was easy to be abused by multiple accounts. So I think roycilik's suggestion is good enough (based on wager)
Exactly what I've suggested (minus everything related to wagering), the win multiplier (instead of the wager) acts as a cheater prevention mechanism.
2545  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian vs foreign companies on: April 01, 2021, 07:49:52 PM
I don't think it's about competitiveness as government intervention is always bad for competition. It's about national security, and it's a tradeoff between economic interest vs. security. Look at the great firewall of China as it has many similarities.

Anyway, if you are a citizen of Russia, would you rather be monitored by Putin or Biden? It's a loss-loss situation, lol.
2546  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC & ETH withdraws | Live games & Slots! | VIP | on: April 01, 2021, 07:36:52 PM
Hmm, more altcoin support is a must if they want more casual gamblers to play. Anyway, about promotions, (1) maybe if someone gets a 100x multiplier or more on any slots, $0.1 minimum, they can get 1 raffle ticket, multiplication applied (get 200x = 2 tickets), or (2) players can get 10% more of their winnings if they hit 100x multiplier or more. IMO anything based on wager isn't suitable for slots promotion.
2547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can someone explain how next roll prediction works please? on: April 01, 2021, 05:51:56 PM
What is this "next roll prediction?" Is it about the dice game? It's similar to the real-world dice where you cannot accurately predict a random number between 2-12. In the Bitcoin dice, the range is way wider. Let's say between 2.00 and 98.00. Good luck with predicting that!

If the code is correct, each roll is independent, so a normal human being cannot predict the next roll. This is the area for superstition, lul.
2548  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [ANN][BASO] baso.finance - DeFi Vexanium Blockchain on: April 01, 2021, 05:32:20 PM
Peraturan

Sedih ane ngelihat:
- Tidak ada whitepaper, tidak ada team, dll.
- Tidak ada T&C, privacy policy.
- Marketnya kek kuburan https://www.digiassetindo.com/markets
- no collaterize token kok 1:1 yang ada 1:abu

Saran ane buat yg bikin proyek mendingan cari private investor lalu semua legalitas dibenahi, sukur-sukur jadi perusahaan. Jangan langsung jualan token ke publik dan bikin market kalau belum siap dengan segala risikonya.
2550  Economy / Economics / Re: How the rich get richer and why it works on: March 31, 2021, 03:38:16 PM
This is very simple - TO KEEP WEALTH YOU JUST HAVE TO AVOID GIVING IT AWAY TO OTHERS
This very first statement is already wrong. Let's not get into politics Cheesy

First, "you need to spend money to make money." - I'm quoting this since this statement should be there somewhere on the internet. It means two things: (1) spending for productivity (direct economic result) and (2) spending for purposes (indirect economic result). You can be generous to neighbors, and they will give you protection, help you, etc.

Second, "if you hate rich people, or being rich, you will never be rich." Hate obscure your vision, so you can't learn. You think everything is because of outside/uncontrolled force, but in reality, it's the quality of you as a man that decides. Therefore, the rich (because of business) won't be afraid of fair competition.

But there are these rich politicians, rich supreme leaders, etc., who are basically criminals. The true entrepreneurs afraid of these types of rich people, and they must flee or become one of them to survive.

Question: Why can't I see my tokens after withdrawing from Binance Smart Chain (BSC)?

Answer: We've learned that Binance does not automatically withdraw to the main Ethereum network by default.  They allows users to select Binance Chain or the Binance Smart Chain, their own blockchains, which allows Ethereum-based tokens to be held in the form of BEP2 and BEP20 respectively.

Question: How can I fix it if I already transferred my tokens from Binance?

Answer: If you already withdrew your tokens to their blockchain, you'll need to use the MetaMask add Custom Network feature to add the Binance Chain or Binance Smart Chain's RPC URLs endpoints to your MetaMask. We do not have a hosted or recommended URL for a Binance Chain node, you should probably refer to their documentation to find a URL recommended by them.

Once you've added the Binance Chain or the Binance Smart Chain to your MetaMask, you will be able to select different networks to view the assets (you may need to add Custom Tokens too) held by your selected account on that network.
Source.

Anyway if you have this difficulty I think Binance should add more notes if users want to withdraw via BSC (assumed it's not already there).
2552  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: March 31, 2021, 02:52:05 PM
^I think there will be class actions if we see more and more real users (not the losing casinos) complaining about this, and the platform will be forced to comply. At least they will restrict the video to 18+ and force streamers to state disclaimers about the reality of this "fake money." Their new woke policies regarding racism and hate speech already in-effect. Why not adding more absurd rules to the T&C? Twitch and Youtube are in bed together anyway.

But where is the class action?
2553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The realities of modern casinos on: March 31, 2021, 02:15:20 PM
Hello! Why in modern casinos everyone loses and all casinos grow so quickly
Both offline and online, the house will always win. However, land-based casinos have high direct costs to pay employees, maintain the facility, etc. They cannot grow as fast as online casinos, where the machine operates 24/7 with lower costs.

If about investing, putting money on online casino bankroll is a risky investment, higher risk than buying casino company stocks. But if you are lucky to pick a legit and growing online casino site, the ROI will be tempting.
2554  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: March 31, 2021, 01:45:02 PM
How to market gambling besides the winning scene? They can't because that's what they are selling, the hope of getting rich.
Nothing honest in marketing, and even burgers are different. What you see isn't what you get.

If the viewers at least 18 years old, they should know this real-world situation and somewhat skeptical about the advertisement. Their naivety is their own fault. However, I agree if this streaming industry is not healthy. Therefore, streaming platforms will take action sooner or later to clean up the mess.
2555  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: March 30, 2021, 01:19:41 PM
I think OP missed the point about "investment only for rich" things. It's not completely wrong since there is a story behind it.
If you invest passively anywhere and it doesn't matter whether it's gold, stocks, bonds, etc. (except for BTC early days), your average ROI will still be extremely low compared to working actively with your capital. Because of low ROI, you need a bigger investment to be meaningful, or you can go on a different path and use your money to start a business since it will yield a higher ROI.
2556  Other / Off-topic / Re: Formula E on: March 30, 2021, 12:50:04 PM
I've just browsing about this Formula E. I thought this would be F1-like racing with electronic cars. But what are these attack mode, fanboost, 45 min race, etc. Grin
By the way, the cars are pretty slow tho. IMO this race won't beat F1 anytime soon and only used for e-cars marketing.

Not all the racing in Formula E takes place on the track. At every round of the Championship is the E-Race - a virtual competition taking place in the Allianz E-Village, where drivers battle against the fans on simulators, that replicate all the action on-track.
This is also the reason it's more about marketing, and not about beating F1.

2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 102: The Provably Fair Slots (with poll) on: March 30, 2021, 05:19:14 AM
The one thing I hate about these original Slots are the graphics.... damn, why can these casinos not hire some good game developers to develop some kick ass Slots with awesome graphics? (Like Pragmatic / Red Tiger etc..)  Huh
There has been a discussion about it.
tl;dr It needs a lot of capital and human resources to build a nice slot game.

However, my argument was: someone with enough passion and skill can build a fantastic game by himself.

Anyway, what I don't enjoy is that we must jump from one casino to another, to find the provably fair slots. Imagine if you want to play Red Tiger, you have to go to their website, and then you must jump to Play'n GO site just to play their games.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous a red flag? on: March 30, 2021, 04:59:38 AM
This question has been asked multiple times:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5285642.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276555.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5069219.0

It depends on the project. If it requires you to "invest" money, then it's a major red flag. BTC founder is anonymous (pseudonymous, to be precise), but he didn't sell anything, not ICO/IEO or any of that stuff.

I'd like to ask you whether you're familiar with RPG-inspired slots, like Dungeon: Immortal Evil from Evoplay Entertainment?

It's an awesome concept, I was mindblown when I first saw it.
Me too! I didn't expect the game to be so good! It looks and feels like a legit RPG game. I'd give 5 stars for the gameplay, graphics, etc., but not for RTP.
Thanks for sharing your favorite "slots" man, much appreciated. I know Evoplay slots have pretty graphics, but this one is probably not a slot game Grin

FYI

I have to check this Dead or Alive thing.
This game is famous for the rare bonus round (it's hard to get 3+ scatters) and crappy free spins result, especially if you pick option on the right.
Just don't cry if you go broke Grin
