В Госдуму внесен новый законопроект о майнинге. Предыдущая версия документа, которую депутаты внесли в конце апреля 2022 года, была отозвана. Депутаты утверждают, что по экспертным оценкам, гражданами России открыто более 12 млн криптовалютных кошельков, а объем средств на кошельках составляет порядка 10 трлн рублей. Кроме того, Россия находится в числе мировых лидеров по объему «майнинговых» мощностей. В новом варианте законопроекта исчезли положения о реестре участников майнинга и статья об амнистии, которую авторы предыдущей версии закона предлагали ввести на год для майнеров, зарегистрировавшихся в реестре.
