This is not the first time that EBA is signaling a "Warning" about Virtual Currencies: https://www.eba.europa.eu/-/eba-warns-consumers-on-virtual-currencies
The first one was on Dec 2013. Those chaps are the ones that make the rules whether to draw money out of thin air to cover their asses after their "Derivatives" reached their margin call point. Simple as that. Yes they fear of bitcoin, because their business goes down the drain if this becomes huge.

I'd give it a couple of weeks before this takes off. The news today should only be focused on a single subject:

Site looks OK now.

Yep, seems ok now. The programmer made  a mistake. We need to iron out all the
problems so we can focus on getting many more users Smiley

Greg

Did you inform him about the blockchain amount being reported wrongly?

Sounds like you're getting worried, Jorge.
You bet I am.  Didn't Tim Draper mention Brazil explicitly as a country where they expect to find buyers for those 30'000 BTC?

Good point. Draper may find some Brazilians willing to become bagholders.

It still keep resending verification emails at every logon attempt.
This happened also when I tried to withdraw the last couple of times from the web interface. No problems (other than 999000 limit) on the android app.

Hi Macsga,

The online should be fine now.
Can you still not login ?

The limit is being increased ok on the app. I think it will be 2m. I'm not sure yet.

Yeap, the online works nice now. No login required. I didn't update the apk yet, is there a new version or should it be fine to withdraw 2M per day just like it is (without updating)?

I noticed something weird I thought I would share, I have seen this happen twice now or I would not have mentioned it.  Once yesterday I think and once today when I went to send some coin to my windows wallet from the web slots, not the app slots......the moment I clicked the "Send G" button, a large amount of coin instantly disappeared from my total showing at top left.  I think both times, this number reduced upon clicking that button by around 100K coins.  Really weird!

Just wanted to let you know, not worried about the coins that disappeared!

Thanks for sharing the distribution amounts up to now, pretty cool stuff!  Also again for the solo instructions....have been able to get a good amount of GCoin from that as well:-)
This happened to me too, but on the other side. The amount I had was say 1,000,000 and when I pressed send G, there was something like 1,123,405. This kept going only on a slow pc I have at work and the browser can't keep up with all this clicking madness (I've created about 2 clicking freaks here at work) and thus it refreshes the total after you exit the slot game.

Again, this is what I noticed.

If you still up to the mining seeking process, I'd propose http://www.1gh.com/
This is a nice anonymous pool, which lets you use your wallet address as username. If I were you, I'd contact them.

SOS
Respectable master(node) owner urgently looking for loyal hard-working servant (village idiot) to regularly buy the endless produced Darkcoins from the masernode payments. No wips have ever been used on slaves, only prober rude treatment to let em know who is the master.
To not hesitate to buy lots so that said master can upgrade to more notes as a single node operator is like solo mining and the others with 50 or more notes sit in a massive pool and scoop of the cream on the top

Also needed old fashioned miners. I know back in the instamine days the reward for miners was 100% payout for the 500 block reward, now you still get a respectable 80% of the left over scrap 5 block reward

We're very hopeful that having enough non tech non mining guys using GCN on mobiles it will stand a much stronger
chance of becoming more mainstream.

This is true. But then, there's the network integrity maintenance. You need miners; no? One option is to remove individual mining -at all-. Keep sending away your coins via the app. Click and win; simple as that. You will handle the mining process, and that's based on the "Centralized" model that fiat money (and some cryptocurrencies like Ripple for instance) is now working. It's not perfect but you get rid of 51% attack and you are in charge of the flow. After the initial kick, you can change this.

Another option comes as BTC network runs. Pool mining, (your pool) via your mobile app. Who he comes first takes the biggest earnings etc. Well... decisions, decisions... Smiley

There's a lot of idea's there. I'd say there's over 100 miners at least. I'll sleep on all the new idea's from today Smiley
Many thanks

Same here. Goodnight from Greece.Wink

This is still very new but I have some suggestions:

1. Small charities - do good with GCN, donate to people in need.
2. GCN market places. Find people that are willing to sell their stuff for GCN. Even build an online shop.
3. T-Shirts. "I LOVE Gs" for instance payable with GCN.
4. Precious Metals.

ALL of the above have a prerequisite: Exchange value of GCN/BTC. No matter how big / small that is, you need this.
