2541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 10:27:45 PM

So over to you now, what does gambling for fun mean to you as a gambler,? As I know that this phrase might mean different things for different people, would like to know what your understanding is on this.

Same as yours I'm positive about my chances could be winning with the money that I allocated and when I lose I will never feel negative about it, gambling for fun starts with money that you allocated based on your budget and you never chase your losses once you chase your losses it's not fun anymore, and your intention is to really make money, people should know the fact about gambling and should never have a mindset of money first.
2542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attributing wins or loses during gambling/betting to Ego or Simply Intuition. on: December 30, 2022, 01:12:07 PM

Do you care to know if the bet made was attributed to your feelings of ego or you simply followed your intuition?

Your ego should never be a part of how you gamble because your ego when challenged will not accept defeat and because it cannot accept defeat it will motivate you to pour more money to gamble more until you realized your ego is ruining you,
Even your intuition should never be a part of gambling if you involve in it and you win because you believe in your intuition you will continue to gamble and your mind will be preoccupied with gambling, the best thing to do is to have a mindset that you're playing for fun and when you left the site or log out on the casino, that its no looking back until another session.

Another related definition of the ego has to do with being self-centered or egotistical.
2543  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: December 30, 2022, 03:56:54 AM
Nag try ako sa globe kahit naka plan na ako pero sira website nila nung first day. Aantay muna ako siguro baka mid January nalang ako mag register.

On verification, mukhang may loophole pa din.

I appreciate that you answer on here.  I respectfully decline the offer of deposit refund, I have uploaded my screenshots and evidence.  I have absolutely no reason to suppress any info.  I would love to see any threatening messages, and fraud attempt.

Here is the link to that https://photos.app.goo.gl/GS3dSv8SCwkFHXwF9 so far so good on your part I don't see any manipulation
but this is based on your screenshots and pieces of evidence, now it's time for Macaw_casino to counter this and show the part of the multiple attempts of fraud, manipulation, and abusive and threatening messages before we judge who is correct on this since OP declined the offer of a refund.
2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 29, 2022, 12:59:01 PM

What about you guys? Do you have any addiction to gambling? What drives you to gamble? Is it the long shot of having a big profit coming in or is gambling simply a way of spending time for you?

I don't know if anyone here did not become a gambling addict at one point in their gambling times, I don't want to be a hypocrite I become one in a short period of time because it's normal for anyone who gambles and has tasted winning a good of money during his gambling time, but I eventually learn that if you can't change the way you play, trying to win money and chasing losses you will eventually lose yourself, the only thing that can regain your confidence and peace of mind is to have total control of how you gamble and the amount you are playing.
2546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 28, 2022, 10:46:47 PM

To avoid, running after the loss, I have set up the responsible gambling in my account and it helps me a lot to control the bad beats against my will to recharge my account and ending up losing it all again.

For me this has been working for quite some time and it was a way I found to prevent me from throwing money that I need away.

Any of you guys uses the responsible gambling feature? If so, what do you think about it? Is it helpful or does it only gives you a sense of control

Its recommended to have it, in fact, casinos do it for people who have an uncontrol urge to deposit and gamble, I prefer not to have it for now, as I want to challenge myself to be in control of what I'm doing but I am aware of it and it's on the back of my mind to place it when I'm losing a lot, we all should be aware that it's there for us to protect ourselves when we need protection, you just never know when you will lose your control.

Our Sam remains silent, he was online earlier today and certainly was aware of this current situation, but didn't choose to say anything. As I can't trust a BM and CM who didn't do the slightest DD, I supported the flag and added a tag as well.

Could be that he already got half or the whole of his payment and decided to keep it there's no disclaimer either on his campaign thread that makes everyone thinks that he is part of the team, checking on the campaign thread there are still members applying on the campaign and there are still members reporting on the thread but what we're sure of it will not get investors coming from here.

Guys this platform just launched yesterday, I wonder how and where you stumble it, I would not easily trust a site that's just launched yesterday and getting shilled right away, I recommend playing with caution if you want to try this platform, I don't trust a new platform where I have to link my wallet so I can bet.

2549  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that there will ever be an effort to boycott centralized exchanges? on: December 28, 2022, 01:15:54 PM
Just think centralized exchange is similar like banks and fiat currency, does there's a bank collapse? yes, does there's a fiat currency collapse? yes. But does all of banks and fiat currency are get boycott and there's no countries use fiat currency anymore? nope.

It will be same like centralized exchange, no matter what how bad it is and how many problem are comes from it, any countries only want centralized exchange because it's their another way to control their citizens and get money through tax.

Good comparison, it's complicated for newbies and for many of us interacting with a decentralized exchange and on many chains, just like on fiats and banks, centralized makes it easy for us, it's like they are serving it all to us in a silver platter, this is the price we have to pay because of mainstream adoption they did not integrate Cryptocurrency in their system but rather, they integrate their system in Cryptocurrency, we will be like this, I don't see any effort to boycott centralized exchanges succeeding in a long term, how I wish it will.
It's only a matter of time before we'll all start trading on CEX again.
2550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OneShot Golf on gambling casinos? on: December 28, 2022, 11:16:18 AM
I keep seeing this game on TikTok(image below). has anyone tried the game? just to be clear, the app is not a gambling app but you need money in order to use their golf robot, they do have a free trial though. they have tournaments too where you can win prizes(not sure what the rewards are). I was planning on downloading it but it was unavailable in my country and from what I have read the game is only available in US and Canada.

anyway, the main reason I posted this here despite the app not being a gambling app is because the Idea of the game is good and I thought this could be a good game that can be included in gambling casinos one day.

If we have games that come from the application site Playstore that are now included in casinos or gameproviders then this game had a good chance to be included, given that it has a lot of positive reviews from users who come from the US and Canada, people from that region are not easy to please, they have made it for US and Canadian because there are ads on it that only supports US and Canadian users, like surveys sites that only accept from that region.
2551  Economy / Services / Re: New way to promote your crypto project on: December 26, 2022, 02:35:37 PM
I respect the services you are offering but for me i see it as spamming in other projects communities is just making the promoted project looks kind of suspicious and bad. Good potential projects are using better ways for marketing and promoting. Spamming with many messages all over the telegram or Twitter we only bother the community managers and moderator to ban those bot continuously

I don't respect this kind of service this is the kind of service that scammers are using, a good project doesn't need this kind of service its spamming, and I don't support and block groups that add me or I get messages from people or bots about certain projects if a project is serious in promoting their project they can launch a bounty campaign and delegate task to human instead of bots, it's very annoying to see in a legit telegram groups bots that send you random messages about projects that has nothing to do with the groups you are in.
2552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jermell Charlo vs Tim Tszyu - Jan 28, 2023 on: December 26, 2022, 12:02:37 PM

Oh that's too bad specially for Tim who has been training very hard in the US right now if I'm not mistaken, away from his family.

But if Charlo is really injured, then he just have to wait then, or maybe take a tune up fight in between that to keep him active for the time being. Because it seems that the injury will obviously be taken care of, healed without any issues before the doctor will allow him to box again.

Charlo though still boastful when he knows he can't fight, telling us that the can beat Tim with just one hand? Lol, that's ridiculous and I don't think he can do that.

He should remain quiet though until everything is ok with him and resume the fight.

Tim has a lot of reasons to be disappointed this is a championship fight and he is fighting on the 28th anniversary of his father's debut in the US, but things like this happen, I believe the injury is real and the fight should not proceed we have seen the repercussion if there's an injury on one fighter but decided to push with the fight, it happens on Loma and Pacquiao and I guess Charlo knows the consequences if he proceeds to fight Tszyu who is considered a very tough fighter.
Guess we'll just have to wait for a few months Tszyu can opt to have a tune fight, but it's better to wait for Charlo.
2553  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining profitable in 2022? on: December 26, 2022, 11:07:36 AM
Over the past few years, the crypto world has undergone numerous changes and so has cloud mining. The whole face of cloud mining has changed. Cloud mining will always be the best option to earn profits without the need to pay for equipment and related costs, and 2022 is no exception. Apart from the money making factor, by mining on the cloud platform, the risk is reduced to a great extent. And cloud mining is a profitable mining method.

You did not give us one example of profitable cloud mining in which you've invested you just opened a discussion which I think is a random topic that you've got on the internet without dwelling on the advantages and disadvantages of cloud mining.
I could cite articles on the internet which stated that cloud mining is still profitable but I could also lead you to so so many topics that were and will be created on cloud mining being a Ponzi scheme in the scam section right here in Bitcointalk.
Don't just post that cloud mining is profitable to make money, there are also traps on so many cloud mining that you failed to include in your topic.
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Licenses and Casino reputation on: December 26, 2022, 09:07:18 AM

What are the other common licenses & how they can help the gambler when a gambler faces issues with the casino; especially when the gambler gets robbed/scammed by the casino? It's something I guess we all should be aware of; I believe most of us don't know at all.

I have seen a lot of complaints about casinos with licenses but we have not read they are being penalized for those accusations even if the accusers have proof, you have to bring the case to their attention and file an official complaint before they can take action, they will not take action on something that is just posted online, they will have to do their own investigation and this is very costly on the part of the accuser.
So its really useless if you got robbed or scammed you will spend huge money to get the license taken down, whereas it's free to post accusations here and if proven by the community that the accuser is treated unfairly then the community can tag the casino and it can harm the supports coming from the gambling community.

2555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Boxing) Kazuto Ioka vs Joshua Boxing Match Begins 31 December 2022 on: December 25, 2022, 11:39:25 PM
Although Franco is roughly 6 years younger than Ioka, we can't consider the age as a big factor here.

That would matter if  Kazuto Ioka is already old, but he is only 33 years old, so it's not a big deal despite their huge age difference. I think the experience is way more vital here, and since  Kazuto Ioka has more experience, I guess he will have the edge in this fight. Anyway, I think we should wait for the betting odds to determine how bookies see this particular fight.

Kazuto Ioka can be considered to be at his prime in this age so I think in battle between prime boxer, the one with more experience has the advantage unless the opponent has tremendous punching power that can KO his opponent anytime.  Looking at the record of both boxer, Kazuto had never been stopped while Franco got 1 stopped in his fight.  I will go with Kazuto Ioka in this fight because I believe he is the tougher boxer and has more experience.  The knock out percentage is almost identical but in term of toughness, I believe Ioka is tougher for the reason that Ioka hasn't been stopped yet.

For someone who fought and lasted 12 rounds against Nietes in his prime and beating Nietes in their second match is already a huge achievement for him, he is now in battle tested and I'm sure he will use this experience to beat Joshua this is a good match up considering that both are champions and the fight could go either way, but predict Kazuto to win by a decision
here considering that it will be held in Japan.
2556  Economy / Services / Re: $10 000 for a Hustler who brings us 1000 real paying users on: December 25, 2022, 10:26:14 PM

We are legitimately operating a gray-area project. We will give specifics about our products. You should do your own research about our business after. Although we already had some users, marketing it took a lot of our time. Very time consuming for our team. We are here for the long run. We simply want to spend this money on our first market push with a professional who is skilled in doing it. We just want to be adopted by the market, and we know that there are some really skilled hustlers in this forum who can help us do that. We provided the following assurance to the marketer to make it secure. We will pay $250 if you can get us 25 users. We pay $250 for each batch of 25 users you refer. In addition, we'll give statistics on things like traffic, where it comes from. This is so that we can be transparent with the marketer.

Regarding the marketing strategies. Where and how users arrived on our platform are irrelevant to our customers. On this, we are very confident. Simply put, we lack the skills and experience necessary to complete the task on our own. We want to pay someone who is very skilled at it for this reason. Message me on Bitcointalk. I'll give you my telegram number. That's where we can talk.  Then we offer more information. You make your own research. You decide.

Things could be easy if you adopted an affiliate site marketing type of recruiting and make it a CPA type of marketing I wonder how did you arrive at that one marketer is enough to get the numbers that you want, how confident are you that the project is that good even the best marketer cannot market a project if the platform is not that good when asking your product to promote you should go for details, there are marketers that are specific to his audience like a marketer with a huge number of subscribers but specific to one niche.
You need not mention the product name but if it is an exchange type of platform you need to start on branding because exchange trust starts on branding, what I mean is right branding.
2557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BANKMAN-FRIED PANIC GAMBLES TO REPAY DEBT on: December 25, 2022, 02:05:49 PM

How in the world did SBF decide that gambling was the best course of action for recovering the funds? It seems to me that he has terrible friends around him.  Have you ever thought of gambling as way to recover your funds and pay your debts? Does this look like a case of compulsive gambling?

Source: https://www.pokcas.com/sam-bankman-fried-and-ftx-bankruptcy/

If he's gambling for a long time and won big amounts of money in the past, the temptation to take a chance is high and tempting he thinks that if he can win he can stop the collapse of FTX, but unfortunately luck is not on his side and he learned in the worse way that you don't put your fortune in gambling and gambling to solve your financial issue is not the right thing to do.

I read that he is out on bail but he is sure to go to jail for many years, it's time to check the character of the admin of the exchange that you are trading he could be gambling the company's money like SBF.
2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your friend would tell you this... on: December 25, 2022, 12:16:46 PM
If your friend would tell you hey bud I have 10k in BTC lets try to make it 65k. You play on the casino for me.
How would you play? what would be your game pattren?
I would first confirm if there is no obligation to win because this is gambling and no guarantee of winning, its for fun and entertainment but of course we'll always do what we can to win

Quote
Id probably do 1 game of black (20k win) then one game of roullete with 10 numbers = $65k profit.

I'll go for $5k for Dice with various martingales no guarantee but sometimes it works= $15k, $5k for crash game winning with x10 = $65

I wish I have a friend who'll invite me to do this play for fun with no obligation to win.

2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco on: December 25, 2022, 06:58:29 AM
The bad thing in this fight is still not officially confirmed yet Cheesy

How I wished they confirmed it, it's going to be a battle of two technical fighters who rely on the beauty and science of boxing, it's hard for me to analyze who has the advantage in this matchup, both fighters can beat just anybody on their best night I'm sure for the legacy they want to face each other, unlike Ryan Garcia, both fighters, are not cherry picking their fights so if Bob Arum deals with both camps they will definitely take this fight, this is to give their fans and the boxing community a match they deserve.
2560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 24, 2022, 03:33:16 PM
Is the requirement of KYC from online casino the reason that gives birth to online casino getting regulated? I mean in the past there is no regulation thing pointed to online casino but now all eye are on them for a must regulation if they want to keep their platform alive and functioning.

I don't know of any legal industry that is not regulated, the authorities are there to look if no citizen of any country whose right is
violated and if the industry is operating for the betterment of its supporters, investors, and players, we hate centralization but this is one industry that needs regulation to protect itself from scams, terrorists, and money launderers from infiltrating the industry.
To keep safe for players, investors, and the community, we have to embrace or play underground.
