Did Dembele play really well last season? Let's look at the statistics. Dembele has played 21 matches in La Liga. He has scored only 1 goal. However, he was able to make 13 assists. He could not made any goal or assist in that Europa League match. We have not seen any goal or assist from him in 3 matches in the Champions League. How can we say that his performance was as expected? Would you say that scoring only one goal in a whole season is a good performance? Dembele scored six goals in the 2020-21 season, and only one last season. So I don't think Dembele's performance has improved. Not only that, Depay, Fati, de Jong, Torres and Aubameyang are all performing better than Dembele. Why does Barcelona need so many strikers now? Dembele's weekly wages last season were 210,000 euros. So much more than Aubameyang, Fati and Torres. And so I think it is a waste of money for Barcelona to have Dembele in the squad now. Since Barcelona is now in a financial crisis. |

My big prediction for the next Champions League will be won by either Manchester City or PSG.
Both teams have invested greatly in good player's and coaches but have lacked results.
Man City came so close but they couldn't as Real Madrid turned thing's around.
When it comes to winning the Champions League, it is clear that Real Madrid is the king, even though other teams have also won the Champions League. But for Manchester City and PSG I have never seen them both in the list of winners of the Champions League trophy which means they both have never tasted the sweetness of winning the Champions League. And for next season I'm still not sure that they will both be the new champions for the Champions League because other teams are also investing in new players for next season. I would say that next season Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Liverpool and PSG will fight for the Champions League. These six teams are already strong enough. But they are still trying to increase their power. Manchester City has added young Haaland to their squad to make their squad stronger. PSG is trying to stabilize the team by changing coaches. In today's game India will definitely play in pressure as a loss today means they will lose the series. SA on the other are favorite for today's game as de kock is in good touch. India scored 169 runs in their first innings and gave them a target of 170 runs. Do you think this is enough score for the Indians to defend? Remember in the last T20, Indian scored 179 runs and won the match. Do you think India will be able to defend this score and make the series a level with 2 - 2 ? I think if South Africa does not lose early wickets, they may win this match however it won't be an easy task. I am not surprised that India has won. I was surprised to see South Africa's batting. This team won the first match by collecting 212 runs in 19.1 overs. In the second match, they won by scoring 149 runs in 18.2 overs. I am very surprised that the same team will accept a shameful defeat by losing all the wickets for only 87 runs. However, I am waiting for the last match. I think South Africa will win the series. |

LOL... another disastrous performance from Sri Lanka. They are now 175/7 after 38 overs. And remember that they are playing the match at home ground and that too against an Australian side which lacks some of the key players such as Mitchell Starc. Matthew Kuhnemann in his ODI debut picked up two crucial wickets. And none of the Lanka batsmen could even get to a 50. Such a shameful performance from these guys. They are going to lose this match, and in all probability will lose the ODI series by a margin of 0-3.
Sri Lanka is playing as an unpredictable team now. They had quite low chance to win this match as the target wasn't enough. Australia is playing with their strong batting squad, still they failed to chase the target of 216 runs. Even they got all out in just 189 runs. The score was 165/5 after the end of 34 overs. Australia lost their remaining 5 wickets in next 3.1 overs and lost the game by 26 runs. I think Sri Lanka will be more favourite team in the upcoming matches. I was very surprised to see the performance in Australia. I never imagined Australia would lose this match. After Maxwell was dismissed for 170, they lost all their remaining wickets by 19 runs. Warner is the highest run-scorer among the Australian busmen. If Maxwell had survived at the crease, maybe today we would have seen Australia win. |

Dani Alves was a very important player for Barcelona and he played for them so many years. He is very old now of course and I think Barcelona don't need him anymore. He might even retire soon too as he is 39. But I will remember him as one of the best right-backs in the world. Barcelona are targeting to make the squad as young as possible now. This is a nice step for doing this. They are trying a different thing which is being successful with youngsters and I'd like to see them succeeding in this.
Dani Alves was a very talented and experienced player. He has played for Barcelona for a long time, strengthening the Barcelona defense. Asensio is a good player and of course he is an attractive option for Milan next season. The question is, is Asensio willing to move to Italy while several Premier League teams seem to be interested in him too?
Arsenal and Manchester United are indeed Asensio fans and they plan to recruit Asensio, but it seems that Asensio priority at this time is not a team that doesn't play in the Champions League, despite showing good performances this season with Madrid but it looks like Ancelotti will not include his name as a priority for next season so it's better for Asensio to find another club, I personally see Milan will be a decent place for Asensio to continue his career than he has to go to the Premier League, currently Milan is in need of a winger and Asensio style of play seems to be suitable to fill that wing position, besides that, if Asensio moves to Milan it will certainly give him the opportunity to return to play in the Champions League next season. It would depend a whole lot on the player and what he has in his mind, if he is looking at the biggest club between the two, then it is obviously Chelsea, if he is looking for CL football, then they are of course both in the CL, but tbh honest, Spurs have no chance of winning it, Chelsea do, as for his paycheck, both teams can afford to pay him well, but Chelsea will pay better. The one thing i am not sure Chelsea can offer him more is the amount of playing time that Spurs prolly will, i feel Richalison will start more games in Spurs that at Chelsea; It is up to the player to make up his mind. Personally i do not rate Richarlison so much/high, i think he is overhyped and is more or less an average player, but if all these teams are after him, then maybe they are seeing something that i am not.
Richarlison is a very talented player now and we should see him playing for a much bigger team as a result. Months ago, I remember that he was linked with even Real Madrid but nothing happened later on. He is now linked with two big teams of the Premier League. Both of Chelsea and Tottenham are going to the Champions League and Chelsea had a little better season than Tottenham also. Considering the potential of the teams, my choice would be Chelsea. But Tottenham is also a very good option as they are managed by a great coach like Conte. If any player has to choose between Tottenham and Chelsea right now I think the best choice is going to be Chelsea. Even though Tottenham is trying to do better and also trying to get better players on the team, I think Chelsea is a better team overall and a player is always going to achieve more things with Chelsea instead of Tottenham right now. But, I also agree that Tottenham is not a bad choice right now because they are going really hard to win the Champions League trophy. It is another story that I don't believe they will be able to win the Champions League trophy or the English Premier League trophy as well. |
