2541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin reaches 100,000$ on 31 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM on: December 30, 2021, 02:17:18 PM
I don’t have a big amount either (I sold all in 31k+ and bought little recently) but that would definitely be hilarious and I would sell whatever I have at the moment. It's very unlikely, not even in the next month it's going to happen I think.
Many will be busy in New year Celebrations and will miss this price  Wink
No, I think bitcoin @100k will be the talk of the each town regardless of whatever the celebration is.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create money out of thin air on: December 30, 2021, 02:04:10 PM
no website
You possibly missed that they have a website- https://www.gasdao.org/
However, regardless of whatever it has, it doesn’t change the fact that it's a shitcoin and usually shitcoins are supposed to enrich the creator. This days, it has been a common scenerio of launching a shit token and start trading with decentralized application. Then get listed to centralized exchange, cmc/coingecko. Finally, dump the bag of creator and move on to another project.
2543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 30, 2021, 01:59:20 PM
Has anyone actually asked Lightlord, in a PM?
As far as I know, Dev was in contact with him but nowadays there's no much update from the DEV too. So, I assume there's no contact with the DEV too. Why would I/we or anyone else bother to PM him and I'm sure that a PM will not bring anything else.
2544  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉Owl.games🦉Sportsbook & Crypto Casino For Web 3.0 - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: December 29, 2021, 05:22:07 PM
Well, can't we call it a decentralized casino rather than a Web 3.0 one?
Web 3.0 refers to the decentralized web. Yeah, you are right, we can call that decentralized casino too and that's with VR. It has been a trend these days though I have not yet seen any such casino out there. Would be interesting to check it out.
You can check out more on web 3.0 here- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web3
2545  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk Newbie of the Year 2021[Voting] on: December 29, 2021, 04:40:23 PM
Though I believe, a nomination would require someone to be contributed to the forum heavily, and thus, someone with lots of helpful posts and a lot of merits must be nominated, I would still go with EZ0010 because of his honesty. It doesn't happen every now and then what he did. He proved bitcointalk has honest members too, not only a lot of scammers. There are not a lot of his posts. I will simply quote his post where he got most of his merits.
By the way, his profile address of vanity address at least says he is somewhat knowledgeable and a genuine user.
I know how it feel to lose some Bitcoin either by human error or getting scammed as I experienced both and dont want someone to get same feelings.

Happy to see you got your money back. And many thanks to theymos
2546  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: December 29, 2021, 04:29:46 PM

Do you know what is mean by rule? Lets see the rule of Bitvest related to this situation as quoted below:
Quote
Send your Bitcoin to the address below, your funds will be spendable after one confirmation.
Important: Any coins sent to this address other than Bitcoin cannot be recovered!

Yeah, correct but it's also understandable that Bitvest can recover the fund and send it back to its original owner. I wonder if Bitvest will ever recover the fund and use as their own fund later on. Would you say the same if they did so? It's not about rules all the time but taking care of the community. They are not liable to do so but doing that wouldn't make them lost a lot of time and in return, they can find a satisfied client.
2547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 29, 2021, 04:17:39 PM
I see lightlord is also still actively viewing this forum, but does not provide any updates regarding Eloncoin. With this condition, it's just a matter of waiting for the exchange that has listed Eloncoin to be delisted in the near future.
It already happening, mate. Last time I see xt.com was talking about that and stopped any deposit and withdrawal of ElonCoin. I have not checked out yet whether it is resumed now or not. Rest are finexbox which is a shit exchange with zero liquidity almost and dex-trade where volume is pretty low and I will not surprise if they follow the same as xt did.
2548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 29, 2021, 01:58:20 AM
I also haven't opened the Eloncoin discord in a long time, the last thing I remember is, that the team will soon release a mobile wallet. Has this plan been discontinued?
Dev is waiting for uploading the fine into play store but the plan is to upload on official account and that's why he isn’t uploading. On the other hand, lightlord has the official account but isn't active anymore. Don’t know wtf is going on.
2549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 28, 2021, 01:04:16 PM
Very much unlikely to get a pump of this coin because no one is active anymore. Dev is sending us message on Christmas and that's it. Santa has brought the message from us.
Well, this was supposed to be happen though as we all know this is another memecoin with no real use case. So, I'm not surprised much lol.
2550  Other / Meta / Re: [HELP ON REFUND] WRONGLY SENT $1000 worth of BTC to copper member payment addres on: December 28, 2021, 01:00:31 PM
I grow up in an Arab country and these types of things we were taught when we are kids, its called "Amanah" which means (trust, ethical and moral responsibility)
We all should be same of you regardless of our religion. No human can be a fraud. People were surprised because most of the times, chances is most joining the forum are scammer as currently we can see that. A lot of people are joining the forum, building reputation and then scamming other people. So, certainly you are different from them, you deserve that appreciation.
2551  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: That honest attitude is better than the thousands of spam posts you spread on: December 28, 2021, 12:51:04 PM
How did I miss this? Thank you OP for sharing this. We all must be honest, however, I think you shouldn’t compare this with merit. Just saying.
Everyone also should notice that this guy got a lot of merit just because of his honesty but getting a lot of merit doesn’t necessarily mean to be honest. For example, theyoungmillionaile who had a lot of merit earned but a scammer. So, Don't trust anyone with a lot of merits.
2552  Other / Meta / Re: [Request to mod/admin] Can I create a topic on "other language"? on: December 28, 2021, 12:44:12 PM
Bump
While I have been waiting for this, I have already gathered some information and started organizing the thread contents. I really hope that I will be allowed to do so. Please, someone?
2553  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999Dice.com - Just Launched - 0.1% house edge, faucet & earn BTC on: December 28, 2021, 12:37:43 PM
I don't think it is allowed to post public photos of owners or other persons here in public?
Right you are. Personal information can't be posted in this board or any other board. Only investigation board is eligible for posting personal information like real name, photos, addresses etc. But if someone at their own willing, post their information publicly, there's nothing wrong.
2554  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉Owl.games🦉Sportsbook & Crypto Casino For Web 3.0 - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: December 28, 2021, 12:33:21 PM
Can anyone explain me how is the Owl.games a Web 3.0 casino ? I understand that these days every company will try to put Web 3.0 in fron of their name to catch the attention. I would really like to know what is special in Owl.games which makes them Web 3.0 complaint gambling platform. How is it if different from another gambling casinos that aren't Web 3.0 ?
Basically it should be a smart contract between your address and the address of the house. If you win, you will get X amount of coins to your address from house address and if you lose, funds will be deducted automatically from your address.
2555  Other / Meta / Re: Account Email Bitcointalk on: December 24, 2021, 05:18:51 PM
However, technically, the forum hides user email by default settings.
When we register on the forum, we are given option to hide or keep the email address public though by default the option hide the email. Not sure if you have referred to that.
And yeah I was talking about likely to receive spam and phishing email.
2556  Economy / Gambling / Re: Search for sports betting partners on: December 24, 2021, 04:43:47 PM
What kind of match exchanges you are referring to? and why mention all these countries? Can you explain your offer more? Maybe I'm not much expert in sports betting which is why I can't get what you exactly mean by this. It would be nice if you elaborate on everything. However, it doesn't sound good, it seems you are trying to evade something if I'm not wrong.
2557  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲ETTA Games🚀 | ettagames.io | Provably Fair | Dice Games | Free Faucet on: December 24, 2021, 04:41:06 PM
Free faucet  Grin How much are you giving on one claim? Just saying this is a bit misinformative in my opinion because you will only allow having a refill once the balance is zero. I know your motivation but you are presenting it in the wrong way I think. Anyway, it's great to see some quality casinos here and I am really impressed with etta games. And it's great that there are a few different kinds of games in your casino. Will soon check it out.
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: December 24, 2021, 04:29:55 PM
Any news?
Dead? lol
It has been a while lightlord had an update on the project. Dev is talking about launching the mobile wallet for the past months but he can't upload it because lightlord isn't active and he will update the project account (play store). This is really disappointing how this is going to be ended. xt.com will possibly delist the coin as the volume is pretty low.
2559  Other / Meta / Re: Account Email Bitcointalk on: December 24, 2021, 04:19:40 PM
There's no such rule to hide your email. It's personal preferences. If you feel the need to hide the email, you can do so. No one can hack your bitcointalk account or email if they have your email only. Sharing your email publicly is subject to getting spammed though. It is very possible that someone is collecting all the emails available in bitcointalk and they can sell this email list too. So, if someone doesn't want to get spammed and/or care about their privacy, they should hide the email.
2560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which part of Bitcoin do you think it's the hardest to understand? on: December 24, 2021, 04:09:46 PM
I'm too much illiterate on the technical part, especially understanding the mining part as I have not ever checked out that how it works because I don't have any device or way to test it. So, it's something I really have no idea, especially how things work on the backend.
Anyway, I think it's not like everyone has to understand everything about bitcoin. Some may be technical experts while others only know the theory. Some may think having knowledge on how to secure your fund with bitcoin while some may only think receive/spend is enough.
