2541  Other / Meta / Re: Why my thread is locked? on: January 11, 2023, 09:31:04 AM
If such topic doesn't fit in gambling discussion, where else in the forum can it fit?
If a player is having an injury and I see the impact of the player in matches played, I may decide not to go for that club in the next match to see how things turns out, which means the thread fits in gambling discussions, just as Mane did not play for Senegal in world cup in Qatar , but it can fit into ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions which cover more areas including injury of players and transfer to speculate the next matches.
2542  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I need to ask you guys this question on: January 10, 2023, 01:35:04 PM
If the trade is not filled, no fee will be deducted as far as I know. If you are using an exchange that your money is deducted, do not use it again. I have used more than 6 exchanges and no one will deduct money if I cancel an open order that is not yet filled at all. If you have $100 and you cancel the order without any been filled, you will still have $100, nothing will be deducted.
2543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Peter Zeihan’s misleading information about bitcoin on: January 10, 2023, 01:24:41 PM
The person you think is having knowledge can mislead you, you need to know the right thing yourself, see what an analyst said about bitcoin in a podcast or something:

https://open.spotify.com/episode/406fOiiKMU0ot5AS1AIwve

What I see is that Peter Zeihan do not know what bitcoin is, he is only of the old fashion where the world has passed and moving to the future.

He said bitcoin has no value. The price of bitcoin today is $17000 and he said the price will go down $17000 more. That only means that the price of bitcoin is going to zero. But if that happens, he needs to wake up and see that he is only dreaming and not in reality.

He said bitcoin has no value, he did not know how bitcoin has helped economy, making poor people to become rich. Because of bitcoin, blockchain was created, helping the world. Countries are now making use of blockchain today. If not for bitcoin, there may be nothing like crypto exchanges today, see the tax the government are generating, also from other crypto businesses. See what people are generating from mining.

This so called analysts that has nothing good to offer about bitcoin just said bitcoin has no intrinsic value. If you do not know about something, why lying to the world?
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 10, 2023, 12:28:47 PM
I hope they will share so we will know if it's really possible. I mean, as the saying goes, casinos always win because they have the advantage, so how come people are making a living in sports betting?
Do not be inspired, rely on other things, not gambling. If you want to gambling responsibly, use the amount of money you can afford to lose and the amount shluld not be above it.

If you want to be gambling for a living, you will use more amount, remember that as you can win you can lose, but you have more chance to lose, it is called house hedge.

You have to be very good at it so that you can accurately predict the likelihood of a match outcome. It is not easy to have this skill.
Generally, successful bettors have a deep understanding of the sport they bet on combined with a disciplined approach to managing their money and their bets.
But if you have nothing that you are doing but rely on gambling to make money, it would only result to loss, life frustration and depression.
2545  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $900 stolen by chips.gg !! on: January 10, 2023, 11:30:52 AM
I made a big mistake depositing money on chips.gg

they stole the profit of all my bets.. my profit is only $900 ..what kinda bookie it is ? a bookie that even steals 900$
They stole only your profit, not your deposit along with it that you were unable to withdraw?

If you are banned, a gambling site would state the reason for the ban. What is the reason they stated? Like having multiple accounts, your country is restricted or not obeying one of the rules of the gambling site.

You can post your complain on their ann thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277365.0
2546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 10, 2023, 08:57:01 AM
There is a chance that something bad could happen again, do not be so sure of your point OP, but we should be fine if we don't go all in, who would have thought that Covid 19 will make crypto create a new all time low in 2020? I am not saying the something will happen again but anything is possible.

I will keep using dollar cost average strategy till 2024, I advice everyone to do the same.
I do not believe COVID-19 caused anything, what caused 2018 and 2019 bitcoin lowest price? I see 2020 low price to be normal, that it is about how the market is volatile and nothing more than that, but because the virus pandemic was around the time, people said it is the pandemic that caused it.

Dollar cost average is good, but now is also good because likely the price of bitcoin is low already, let us expect the price to increase, but this will not be an increase that will result to ATH.
2547  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Selling] Sportbooks accounts UK - Unibet,williamhill,paddypower etc on: January 10, 2023, 08:45:53 AM
This is becoming common on this forum again and likely only one person may be responsible for it. If I understand your correctly, you mean that you are selling betting site accounts? The accounts that you want to sell, check the gambling sites terms of service and see if account sales is not against at, you will see how you are wrong.
2548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP, I want betting/gambling tokens in crypto portfolio for 2025 on: January 09, 2023, 09:58:11 AM
Is there any reason to add gambling tokens to my crypto portfolio? What drives their value? Do they appreciate in value just like other altcoins whenever we are in a bull market?

If you are in my shoe right now, what gambling token do you think you can take a risk on and add to your crypto portfolio and why?
None, I will not add any gambling token. The only reason I can have them is the reward or customer advantage of the user's that have it on the gambling site they are, aside that, I can not have it. Presently I am not having any gambling token. I do make research on coins, not because they are gambling tokens but about how their future can be is what I look into before taking any coin, no gambling token on my list as at now.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 09, 2023, 07:45:20 AM
Chelsea had to accept a bitter defeat by Manchester City in the FA Cup match with a score of 0-4. It looks like Chelsea have no hope with their current performance, Graham Potter also can't do much with the current squad due to injuries from several of his players who haven't recovered yet. Furthermore, in the EPL match, Chelsea will face Fulham. This time Fulham will be the host, with the bad results that Chelsea have been getting continuously it looks like they will lose again in this match, but I still hope they can win this match even though it is very difficult.
I was very busy last weekend to place a bet, but if I should choose the club that would win between Manchester City and Chelsea, I will choose Manchester City for straight win and it happens twice in just less than 1 week in their two meetings. Chelsea is not playing well and they are disappointing their fans. With Fulham, I can go for over 2.5 as the score before full time but I can not take Chelsea to lose, although taking Chelsea to lose would not be a surprise if you win it.
2550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Multi-asset mode or single asset mode on: January 08, 2023, 09:53:23 AM
I asked a question a month ago but no response, probably because most of you do not care about multi-asset mode. This is the question: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5433093.msg61546702#msg61546702

It is about other exchanges that support multi-asset mode, I have been using only one exchange for it for now, the other exchange I want to use for it said that I should have at least $50000 worth of asset on their exchange before I can use multi-asset mode, but on the first exchange, I can use even $50 to make use of the multi-asset mode.

Coin margin
Coin margin means you have to open position with a particular coin, like bitcoin. Which means you will earn bitcoin if you make profit. Bitcoin as the profit.

USD margin
USD margin mode divided into 2:
Single-asset and multi-asset mode
In multi-asset you can use supported coins to earn stable coins if you make profit from the position opened. You can add more unstable coins the exchange support for multi-asset mode which would be left on the future trading account and it would be added as stable coin that can be used to open a position. The profit is in stable coin.

In this time like this, I prefer to just deposit bitcoin to earn USDT. Is there any other exchanges that support it than Binance? OKX support it but only when you have $50000 on your exchange account that you have with them. You can reply this on the link thread given above.

The main reason for this thread is to know if you as a trader like multi-asset mode? Or you just prefer to go for coin margin instead and open position for individual coins? Why do you not like multi-asset mode as I think most of you do not go for it?
2551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 08, 2023, 07:12:09 AM
Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?
I could not remember but I noticed that I lost in trading, even than gambling. The first I go more into was gambling, later I go more into trading. I am not saying trading is gambling, they are different and I see trading to be promising, but with the right strategies, to be professional and to let professionalism be over emotion and impatience. You are not wrong, to learn from  losses would be the beginning of successful trading, beginners are even warned not to use the money they can not afford to lose to trade.

But some traders can find themselves losing, they better go for long term trading or holding instead, after learn more about trading. Scalping and day trading is not for everyone, both are very risky, indicators can be deceiving because they are not completely accurate even when they seem they are very accurate.
2552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 07, 2023, 09:36:58 AM
I can say that the average newbie who is just getting into trading thinks something like this “buy when it goes down, sell when it goes up” but it is not as easy as you think. When you are sure that a coin is going to go up, it can just go down and keep going down until it is well below the point you bought it at. Maybe you will continue to hold the coin, but that could make you lose even more and in the end you will not get profit but even bigger losses.

My advice is that it's better for you to trade with small capital first and buy popular coins, for example like BTC, BNB, or ETH. Maybe you will experience losses at first when trading these tokens, but if you are patient and continue to monitor the market you will definitely be able to make a profit. The point is to stay patient and exit when you are profitable enough.
That was what I thought before, that I should buy at low price and sell at high price, it was not even derivative trading, it was spot trading and I lost some money because of lack of experience. Those were the days I was a newbie trader before I later decided to know how to trade on derivative market.

Using small amount of money is very important for newbie traders because they will have emotions, thinking they are losing and close a trade. What they will experience is reduction in trading fund before they will have experiences and the right strategies to make profits. Little amount of money should be used by newbie traders to start trading.
2553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 07, 2023, 09:28:22 AM
Is not all the time that roll up trades will turn into profit. Sometimes a long trade like that keep losing straight and your capital keep burning down. You can not rely on such trade to come back from losses therefore using stop loss comes in here. If you want to extend your time in the market when you have used low leverage then you need to use stop loss incase your expectation is not met.
I can never use stop loss. I have used it in the past and I have experiences not to use it again. Stop loss is for newbie traders while learning and for those professional traders that uses high leverage. I do not use high leverage anymore and I do not use stop loss anymore.

Trading does not make one to be rich but can help one to financial stable expecially when their is a source of income as a beginner.
There are even some people that have negative says about their trading experience, about how they lost huge amount of money. Trading can bring profits or losses should be what newbie traders should start with and look for are strategies to know how to avoid the losses.
2554  Economy / Speculation / Re: Each time you see a red candle! on: January 07, 2023, 01:57:00 AM
Hodl until it turns green. If it is not green, it isn't ripe for harvest. Each time a red candle appears, it is a signal to look out for buying opportunities.
As trading is a course to learn, hodl is simpler but it is worth learning too which is not difficult at all. Assuming bitcoin was at $50000 and you bought $250 worth of it. When it decreased to $30000, you bought $250 of it. When it got to $20000, you bought another $250. When it got to $16500 and stayed for long, you bought $250 of it. The average buying when you will start making profit would be $23300 while the price you bought in average would further decrease to favour you as you buy more at lower price.

Do not just buy bitcoin at once, have a plan like averaging.
2555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: n1Bet.com steal me 5900 USDT deposit+winnings on: January 06, 2023, 12:16:13 PM
Yeah, I sure understand the point you are coming from, but even though the casino that Op complained about is not listed on this forum, i still think him bringing his issue with this casino to this forum is not entirely a bad thing, this is another way of warning users of this forum of such casino, for example, like I said I've never heard of that casino before now, and now, I know that this casino is a scam just incase i come across it somewhere after today, or a family member or friend comes across it and ask for my opinion, i can now tell them the casino is a scam because of OP's case here.

So even though OP came here complaining about a casino that does not have a rep on this forum, at least , show some concern for the money he lost, $3000+ is no small amount, and i believe that from now on, he has learnt his lessons.
When did I post or insinuate anything like it is a bad idea that OP brought scam accusation against a betting site on this forum? You can point to that.

You understood the point that I am coming from? Then why this question?

Sorry mate, but didn't you even read the OP before posting this comment? I doubt it.
OP is complaining about being scammed by N1BET casino, I believe he wasn't asking of which casino to join, except there's a part of the OP's post I missed, then you can point it to me.

If you do not have have anything to post, better not comment on what is not than trying to meet your weekly post requirement is what I can say at this point.

If you do not understand what I initially posted, you need to reread it to understanding than to read hurriedly and post what is not. I only adviced OP to use the gamblimg site on this forum for better support response but I do not know what you are still trying to prove upon nothing.
2556  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 05, 2023, 11:20:33 PM
Use little amount of money that you can afford to lose to trade. When you start to have more profit than loss, you can slightly be increasing the amount.

When I started trading, I lost all my money. Be careful and do not let emotion trade for you. You need the right strategy to trade. Learn more about MA, EMA, BB, RSI and some other indicators, but those four should be enough.

You need a better strategy that can help you to still have high percentage chance to make profit even after indicators fail you.

I have preferred to use low leverage, averaging at times, leave trade opened for days. Trades I was losing before do come to be profit later after many days of opening position because I use small amount, low leverage and leaving position for long time if no profit for short time.

Use low leverage. Read about risk management.

Recently I have been trying to come up with ways of making some money on the side and thinking of giving trading a go.
Look for other ways to look for money for trading not to fail you.
2557  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: n1Bet.com steal me 5900 USDT deposit+winnings on: January 05, 2023, 07:18:16 PM
You post this on gambling board, you can see many casinos and bookmakers sites on gambling board, you can check their official threads and see the best one that you can open an account with. Read their ToS and follow their rules. For casinos, I can recommend you https://livecasino.io not because I put on their signature and avatar but because they are trustworthy.

@OP, your experience with this N1BET is rather unfortunate, it's my first time of seeing that name here, and worst of it all is that this casino don't have their online presence on this forum...
You know that the gambling site, n1bet is not on this forum, which means OP just gamble on a gambling site and he was scam. After he was scammed, he took the scam up on this forum, not even on scam accusation but on gambling board. There is nothing bad to let him know that there are gambling sites on this forum which are trustworthy. It is better to use the gambling sites on this forum so that his complain can be genuine and we can bring it to the notice of the gambling site representative on this forum. Or do you want him to register on another site that he will be scammed again? I know you will not have such mind, the reason we should recommend him to check some gambling sites on the gambling board.

2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 05, 2023, 03:15:15 PM
In gambling that I can be able to analyse, I go for just few ones like sport, I prefer football and table tennis. There are other ones but I prefer those two, especially football which I spend more of my money that I can afford to lose on. I am a busy type but I like casinos too, the one that I prefer more is roulette. I like playing chess, but I can not gamble with my neighbors or friends, there should be some sites that may support chess, but I have not checked that before. What I just noticed is that I have fun with football, table tennis and roulette. If I see any betting site that support chess, I may try it to see how it is, but not likely that I may like it, it depends on the outcome and how fun it is.
2560  Economy / Speculation / Re: January bitcoin price out look on: January 05, 2023, 12:56:28 PM
Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible?

Bitcoin was not up to $22000 during FTX implosion. Bitcoin price was over $30000 or even $40000 during Luna and UST crash, that was when bitcoin crashed to $17600 before it increased to $25000 and decreased to $18000 like that like repeatedly. It was around $21000 before the FTX implosion that crashed it below $15600.
