2552  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] "The United Decentralized Ledger" DIY paper wallet notes on: September 22, 2022, 11:22:50 AM
Received a message from the original owner/maker about the notes that gives a little more information:

"I can confirm the notes from the picture are from the same maker as mine. As I've said before, this was a little test project I've made with my friend (the maker of the notes) for the first DiY Bitcoin banknotes. There were only 100 made. Originally, the notes were intended to be orange but they were made as yellow just to commemorate 10 years of Bitcoin's existence (from 2009 to 2019). The maker is known as Fowler Electronics on Etsy. He has his own site for crypto banknotes called "The Crypto Bill" which can be accessed here: https://thecryptobill.com/ "

2553  Other / Off-topic / Anyone watch horror movies? on: September 22, 2022, 01:30:50 AM
Anyone here watch horror movies?

Recently watch "Pearl" in the theater and then rented "X" the other day.....Looking forward to "Maxxxine" Tongue

Also in the queue is "3 From Hell". Have seen the other 2 movies "House of 1,000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects"

Tons of other great ones out there...
From sci-fi horror like the "Cube" series.. to silly horror like "Rubber"

And even the "V.H.S." series of films is great... definitely some good mini-horror movies there.

Or even recent films like "Barbarian" and "The Invitation"

Would even include some of the "Black Mirror" episodes from Netflix.. some great stuff!!

And even classics like the original "Friday the 13th" and "Nightmare on Elm Street"

Not into horror movies in the "possesion"/Devil/The Nun/Ring/etc category... too cheesy for me.
And I do give credit to the original horror movies like "Frankenstein", "Nosferatu", "Psycho", etc..
I enjoy a more modern take on my horror.

So what's your favorite movie or category of horror films?

I would be interested in some of these. Is there any more into on them at all?

How many were produced? i would guess a high print run judging by the price

When were they produced?

Any info on the weight of paper?

and if it is by any chance watermarked?

None of those Q's are deal breakers, I want to measure some other notes to get some
extra sleeves!

These were obtained in a larger lot of items, so no other info at the moment.
I know there were similar notes produced earlier by same or similar maker that already had the keys generated.
Below are pictures of these notes. Thanks to MoparMiningLLC for the pictures Cheesy

There were 100 notes in the lot I received, not sure if more were produced

They are dated "2020"

The paper weighs 2.35~ grams and does not appear to have any watermarks.
The "paper" is more of a light card-stock.

Hope this helps with some of your questions Cheesy

2557  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] "The United Decentralized Ledger" DIY paper wallet notes on: September 20, 2022, 03:16:44 PM
What are the dimensions of the notes themselves? I wonder if they can fit in a protective case like the ones you can put dollar bills in

The notes measure:
6 & 1/16 x 2 & 9/16 inches
15.4 x 6.6 cm

And fit perfectly into the standard currency sleeves:

**If anyone wants, I can add them to the notes for $0.25 each. Cheesy

2558  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] Mixed: Corrosive Silver Cards, Goldbacks, and BitcoinPoker 2020 set #1 on: September 20, 2022, 01:54:22 PM
these poker chips are new to me and i did not know them until now Shocked
is there more information about them (manufacturer, website, minting, etc.) Huh

they are Mantis poker chips (look at the holos closely) - I went to pull the thread where I got my set in 2020 but the threads posts have been deleted and the thread archived.

These were a run of 2100 chips that were produced in October 2020.
All 2100 chips were funded in one transaction directly from redeemed BTCC items... so 1-hop virgins Tongue
There were 5-full poker sets complete with golden Bitcoin playing cards and the rest were 9-chip sets and some extra singles as seen in the picture below:
