2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you invest in ICOs? on: July 30, 2017, 06:23:36 PM
I've invested in a few, but just like startups I expect 99%+ not to live up to expectations.
I'm a bit picky about fundamentals.

1) Potential for huge gains just like BTC/ETH on the 1% chance it does work out.
2) Easy access and less regulatory hurdle for smaller investors

Other reasons people might:
1) There seems to be a premium to even get in the hot ICOs so you can flip it for a profit on an exchange
2) As long as there is a market where people are buying ICOs at a premium at an exchange it makes sense.
3) A lot of wealthy BTC/ETH holders are hooked on the ICO idea (ETH was the original big ICO).  They're using house money and are less fearful of loss, diversifying holdings and also wanting to support their ecosystem

Indeed ICO can be a great source of income, and investing on the most potential ICO can sure our earnings, many get successful on doing it. Investing and being part of a project helps us to have tokens that can be beneficial in the future.
I have no argue with that. I like this idea, during the crowdsale events invest there and get paid in the specific ICO token. A single success of any ICO returns us decent profit. But, ICOs are full of risks, even some of them can get failed, some of them can turn to scam. These are the worst part of ICO project, must accept all these risk.

ICO can be very beneficial if we choose the right one. There are many new coins which people try to develop nowadays and we have to be very selective if we wanted to invest on some of them. One of the benchmarks I use in determining where I'm going to invest is who's behind the development of the coin. If the person has a good and reliable track record, I will follow it.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 30, 2017, 05:45:07 PM
I think doge coin has no future anymore, but nothing is sure in cyrpto coin... it's proven that there are still a lot of people storing and liking dogecoin, maybe dogecoin can rise again

Dogecoin is one of old coin and popular , but I think not for trading the price will not change significantly , almost stable day by day.

Agree with you, this coin is hard to increase very high because the total supply is very much. Even trading this coin must have a large capital, because a change of 1-2 satoshi will be felt.
I do not really like this coin because it's hard to make a profit.

As far as I know, dogecoin is made just for the purpose of share, just to send tips on social media. That's why the total supply is very much. Dogecoin is not created to be expensive and it has no future.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 30, 2017, 12:14:40 PM
If you would like to test bitcoins, and to see how to send and receive transactions it could be a good choice, but if you trust on gambling to earn some bitcoins as a newbie , I don't think it is a good idea, as You could find yourself losing your hard earn money.

Also we don;'t want new people to put a direct connect between bitcoin and gambling, we want newbies to consider it as a currency not as a gambling token

to test there is still a way besides betting maybe buy something with bitcoin. indeed it's not good for beginners to directly connect the bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a coin for gambling though he's not a newbie of gambling.

If we just want to know how to send and receive bitcoin, we don't need to do it with gambling site. We can make two wallet and send from one of them to the other one. As a newbie who intend to do gamble, people should know that they can have bad experiences in gambling. They should prepare for it and make a steady plan before make their feet wet.
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: July 30, 2017, 09:21:50 AM
Yes, Giving up gambling is not easy especially if it’s a part of the way you living and if you do it for not just for entertainment but also to get profit and you use gambling in order to become rich in short you become addicted. Sometimes you can’t realize how become addicted who you are and you just stop gambling in the point that you bet everything you have in order to get back what you lose. But if you’re sincere to give up gambling it should start will you. Focus your mind in different activities that may help you to stop thinking about gambling.

As long as the desire to stop gambling is still limited to wishful thinking, it will be very difficult. There will be many temptations that affect our minds not to abandon gambling. Doing and focus at other stuff could help some people to try to forget gambling habit or at least would decrease our gambling intensity.
2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is it normal for a btc book to have a withdrawal fee on: July 29, 2017, 11:38:28 AM
Yes it is normal to have a withdrawal fee so that your transaction will be completed these are actually miners fee. Miners are the one who mine your transaction so if you are not willing to pay it then your withdrawal will not be successful.

For sportsbook, most of them doesn't charge us for the transaction fees. And for dice sites, we have to pay it by ourself. Usually there will be an option to us on how much fee we intend to use. The higher we pick the faster our transaction will be confirmed.
2546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: July 29, 2017, 06:15:51 AM
Quit while you are still ahead while you still have a profit ,
That's the best time to leave the game for me of course you would feel that if I haven't quit I could earn much more profit than I have,
The secret is being contented with what you have don't be too greedy.

Leaving the game when we still have profit will be easier to do. But what if in our gambling session we didn't meet it at the beginning of our actions? Such situation is the most common entry point for some people to get addicted to gambling and frankly when we lost earlier it'll be so hard to leave a gambling place especially when there are still money in our pocket.
2547  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: July 28, 2017, 07:52:52 PM
I do gambling but not always i do it once a week or once 2 weeks i dont think gambling is good for me

Though you gamble rarely, but you do it regularly. That means you are addicted too. But your level of addiction is still within reasonable limits. If you keep it that way, gambling should not give a bad impact to your life.
2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 28, 2017, 02:17:01 PM
Trade and gambling have risks, but in trading you can analyze the course of events and make a profit, and in gambling only on sports betting is appropriate analysis.

Everything in this world has risks, no exception with trading and gambling. Trading can be considered as gambling if the person who did it don't have adequate ability to analyze market and lack of supporting data. He's trading based on his feeling only.

Hello sorry for my english ( im french ) i have a lot of question about  the bonus sportsbook,  when we unlock the bonus,  can it be withdraw   instantly ?  , does it easy to get the bonus ?

Every bonuses have requirements to fulfill. Most of them will be hard to get. If you intend to unlock such bonuses consider to read the terms and conditions carefully and if you found something that you don't understand clearly, ask it to the site support. It is very possible for gambling sites to try to exploit the gambler's weaknesses regarding terms and conditions. You have to be very careful!

Sorry, but I want to clarify one thing here. TwistedWarrior posted two bet id's but it came from two different bitsler's accounts and it seems those two bets are eligible to win the prize. The question I want to ask is, are we allowed to play with more than one accounts to hunt specific numbers during these lucky rolls?

Thanks!

No idea if this was posted before. However since you are a very large bitcoin gambling site. What is your stance on Bitcoin Cash?

Will you credit accounts or do you advise people to remove BTC from the site before Aug 1st?

It's already stated by Baryom before. Bitsler will not support Bitcoin Cash and they recommend us to withdraw our balance from their site if we want to access it.

Hello guys,

Bitsler won't support Bitcoin Cash (UAHF). If you want access to Bitcoin Cash, you will have to withdraw your BTC from Bitsler by July 30th. We will perhaps make a maintenance the 31th. It seems a good timing.

Cheers,
2553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gift For Kid on: July 27, 2017, 05:41:37 PM
I went to store to buy a toy for my kid and I was surprised to see this "toy"

What surprised me was that "+8" sign. While gambling is not allowed for persons under 18, toys like this are pretty much allowed.

In my honest opinion that sign should be "+18" and no one should be allowed to sell this to kids.

I mean, seriously? Would you buy this for your kid?

That must be a mistake made by the toy entrepreneur who issued the toy. Selling toys that had gambling elements  freely is an act that will certainly be criticized by many people in any part of the world. Without a doubt, I will not buy it for my kids.
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 27, 2017, 09:32:05 AM
Gambling is so addictive because once you win you get greedy and you try to win more, and if you loose you keep trying to gain what you lost. If you don't control yourself, you become addicted and it may have bad consequences on your life!

Yes thats the reason why there are a lot of people got addicted to gambling because of the chance of winning big amount of money and the moment they will have the taste of it they get addicted and want more money out from gambling.

Most people want to get rich with the easy way though to get it required a very high risk. Gambling is one way to gain wealth the easy way, at least that's what most people have in mind. They are not concerned with the fact that little by little their wealth will be drained away by it. The desire to become rich with little effort still remains the main reason why gambling is become an addiction activity.
2555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to deal with multiple accounts and abusing faucet? on: July 26, 2017, 10:43:44 PM
Restore the faucet to its original goal as a way to test a site before players play with their own money. And if a site wants to reward their users, there are a lot of ways to do so. Not just with faucet! That's my thought.

2557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: July 26, 2017, 10:52:20 AM
Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.

Is gambling OK?    yes it is OK.
Is it a sin to gamble?     No! Gambling is not a sin.
You don’t kill anybody when you gamble. You don’t hurt anyone, you just play, you just bet. But the player can be sin because of gambling. He/she can be greedy, can be rouge, and can be selfish. Sometimes we become addict to gambling and this can change us. Most changes are bad but if someone can control his/her self then he/she  will not change.

The fact that people will be difficult to win from gambling gives side effects. Stealing, robbing, killing etc can be done when someone has suffered a massive lose. Another side effect of gambling is getting people lazy. I think that's why gambling is forbidden in all religions. If all gamblers can control theirself, maybe gambling won't be a sin anymore.
2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: July 25, 2017, 07:47:31 PM
As you know that you need to stop and leave the game? How can you feel this moment. I almost always lose their money because they can't learn when to leave the game. I'm not sorry to lose. I have a lot of money not to lose, but I can't keep the winnings if I'm lucky.

Of course if you're loosing and you think that your money isn't growing but decreasing learn to stop playing and take some rest. So that even a little amount of money will be left to you. Don't push yourself and don be greedy in that situation. Be smart in playing and of course sportsmanship.
If you observe in depth, only people who are smart at their gambling, will be able to leave at their wish. Leaving gambling at right time or at required time must be possible for the gamblers who are smart enough to tackle gambling situations and their emotions.

Frankly, it doesn't need to be smart to stop gambling just in time. All we need is to get used to always setting the upper and lower limits to exit the game.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most popular Altcoin? on: July 25, 2017, 06:23:48 PM
For me, the most popular altcoins till today are litecoin and ethereum. Those two coins are already exist at most exchangers and a lot of gambling sites add them as alternatives payment beside bitcoin.
2560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: July 25, 2017, 05:31:15 PM
There will never be a "WAY" to win using martingale, at least not for long term

Short term it may WORK, but it MAY not. Trust me, Gambling is really, always look at pure luck

In short term martingale could work but in the long term the long reds will come and our balance can't handle it anymore. There is no strategy to get steady profit at gambling. Gambling will always depend on luck and I am sure people won't able to develop a strategy to beat it. No matter how hard they try!
