2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs and how it works on: October 01, 2021, 09:49:09 PM
It's like turning the memorabilia into something Digital with a blockchain touch. If successfully creates a demand, then there will be trades.

But I don't like collecting NFT stuff just for the sake of having it as a collection. Before diving into NFT, I will analyze first the hype involving that NFT sale. Mostly based on my observation, NFT creations involving popular sports such as the GSW NFT in NBA, or celebrities involved, doesn't seem to be profitable.

Maybe it's still better for those collectors to collect stuff in physical form as it has an assurance that it will have a good price after many years.
2542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losses in trading are nothing but Business expenses on: October 01, 2021, 09:35:27 PM
New traders always try to eliminate losses and see losses as something bad. My breakthrough in trading came when I started seeing losses as expenses (business expenses). Trading is a business and you should see it that way.

When I follow my strategy and I lose, I see it a the price I have to pay to get it right, because there is no 100% strategy and since I don't know which trade would be a winner or loser, I detach myself from every trade and execute my strategy flawlessly regardly of the outcome.

Your views are correct. Treat trading like business because we consider that as an investment. The key to trading success is by doing it regularly. The goal is to minimize losses the same as the usual business does. Don't stick with the same strategy as in the crypto market, there are different trends making it more volatile.

But always remember that experiencing losses is the key for some newbies before that now turned to professional and expert traders today.
2543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 30, 2021, 11:50:15 PM
I don't know if there's any team now that could stop the guards of the SMB, they have a lot of options and they will not worry anymore since JFM is always there to grab the offensive rebound using his size advantage.

Magnolia and TNT can handle SMB.

Calvin Abueva is playing like a beast. If by chance, they will meet against SMB, Abueva can handle CJ Perez who is still new to pressured games. TNT's Mickey Williams can also match CJ Perez or Jayson Castro can switch.

Not looking for SMB as the team to beat now. TNT will win against them. Cheesy
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 30, 2021, 11:36:07 PM
I am also Aiming for Casimero to Win but not because I want him to Win instead I want him to be defeated by Inoue or Donaire soon  Grin
So if Casimero vs Butler is done and whether Casimero loses or wins on this match, he's still going for Inoue.

I think if we want to see the match of him against Donaire, it will take a year before we see that happen if he has to fight next Inoue.
Probably a higher chance to fight Inoue if Casimero wins but if he loses on this match, they can still fix it as long as the contract is in favor to Inoue and that is for sure. Inoue is their main goal to be the first boxer to landed a lost to Inoue, either Donaire or Casimero they really want this so bad. Well, if the trash talking continues with Casimero and Donaire, I don't think their fight will push through, Donaire don't want that kind of game though.

Inoue will lose interest in fighting Casimero if the latter will lose.

How can a champion accept a challenge from a boxer that just got lost? Casimero will need to fight again another good boxer at his level and win before challenging Inoue again. We should talk first about the strength of Butler. We are advancing already to Inoue where Butler can also be a threat to Casimero's legacy. We are driven by the hype of Casimero disregarding Butler's skill.
2545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Entain to Get Gambling License in the Netherlands on: September 30, 2021, 11:28:24 PM
It doesn't and will not have an impact here in our community, but who knows there are players here who plays from fiat-based casinos from time to time it's still a discussion about gambling I'm ok posting it here, who knows in the future they will accept Cryptocurrency, they will soon realize there's a lot of advantages accepting or shifting to Cryptocurrency, gamblers are now shifting for anonymity.

I think accepting crypto won't happen soon.

As stated in the article, it was just this year where the Netherlands allows online gambling. It takes time for sure before approval so how long it will take for crypto to be considered and supported by gambling sites there. Looks like the Netherlands is now slowly improving their gambling industry. There is some news around involving that country that is related to gambling just like the topic.
2546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: September 30, 2021, 11:19:42 PM
Fees are getting higher maybe because of Mining companies in China are being forced to suspend their operation and that could really affect ETH network. Well, this has been a problem since last year and that’s why many choose other network as an alternative, ETH has to do something about this one. If there’s no choice to use other network, then wait for the fees to go down a little.

I think it doesn't have to do with that. Fees are already a problem even prior to China suspending and banning crypto transactions. There's no choice but to wait for some deployments to fix the issue about fees. There are other networks too with low fees such as BSC, Kardiachain, Waves.

We need to be used on this from now. High fees will now be always on our regular transactions.
2547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: September 30, 2021, 11:12:09 PM
Why look at altcoins that have a good opportunity for next year? There are lots of gems playing at the crypto-market and with the right decision, we can manage to get profit out from buying it. For what are those coins, it will be based on how good we at our DYOR skills.

It's really necessary sometimes to risks some money at those altcoins without an assurance that it will be valued later on. You can rely on some factors before you decided like how's the development of the coin, the team's activity, the large community, and many more.
2548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: September 29, 2021, 11:49:36 PM
I don't understand why that demo becomes a topic as no one says about that thing here. It's too obvious that it's not thrilling as that's why it is called a demo in the first place. The purpose of it is to give the user insight or preview of what sort of platform they will goes into.

Don't think about that you are not lucky for anything. Not encouraging you to test a luck-based games but you can test playing at casino games for a small amount just for experience. A minimum bet is sometimes playing at $0.2. If you have a bankroll of $50, that's a long-time playing already. For $0.2, you can hit a good reward up to $50-$100 if the said casino offers a big multipliers and lots of free spins. If I have a time, I will browse some Stake.com casinos where your minimum bet can get a good multiplier. But don't forget it's gambling. Just giving you some preview playing in a luck-based games.

You are right in what you say, I do not know if you have tried playing with the slots in this case, if bets of 0.2USD are made it is very likely that in any of the slots that stake.com has you can find a good multiplier and leave with excellent profit, and precisely in my case when I play the slots when I have that touch of luck sometimes I recover or even remain neutral and it helps me to play another game.

I totally agree there. In my stake.com experience, I always bet on a minimum bet which is $0.1 to $0.2. If lucky, if we hit that free spin, or high lines combination, that can turn into a good prize in return. Also doing it on play-in. A $0.2 bet sometimes costs around $15-$20 overall. Worth to try if expecting a rush play.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blockchain and Gambling on: September 29, 2021, 11:41:39 PM
Thank God for the power of blockchain, everyone who is well involved in crypto knows that nothing in terms of transaction is hidden when it comes to blockchain technology, blockchain has made alot of different types of transactions easier to track including those in the gambling world, issues arising from gambling operators and client can easily be resolved with the evidence proven with in blockchain, personally, I no longer play with operators where crypto isn't accepted as a form of payment, cus crypto is not only easier to transact with, but also safes more in transaction fees, problems arising between operators and clients can easily be resolved, except the transactions isn't blockchain based.

I don't see that as a good feature of blockchain when it comes to gambling. The reason we play in crypto-gambling is to be anonymous, not to be tracked by anyone. Blockchain is good for other features but not as a tracking device for gambling transactions.

With the centralization now slowly coming to crypt-gambling, we might not enjoy soon the benefits of playing in crypto-gambling as KYC will be mandated and it's easy for operators now to know where our crypto is transacting to.
2550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is easier? on: September 29, 2021, 11:38:20 PM
To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

If one of them is easier, we should see everything is a winner at every trend.

There's no easy profit. There's not even much more effective. It depends on our risk management and skill-related, knowing when to buy or to get out. I do both, riding with hype and waiting for a dip. To some altcoins, I will wait for the dip if the price increase is now at 100%. My risk management when riding a hype is only on a 30% price increase. Higher than that, I won't risk my money unless I see something good plans that might hype more a certain coin.
2551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it last long or temporary? on: September 29, 2021, 11:33:45 PM
The downward trend in Bitcoin prices has continued since a few weeks ago until now where the bitcoin price is still at the level of $42k. Will Bitcoin's downward trend continue or will it return to the $50,000 to $60,000 price level next month?

Impossible to know where it will be headed. The market is still reacting to some recent news like the China ban.

Looking at the bright side, the price is still decent at $41,000-$43,000. It means even China ban is a big issue, it doesn't pull down the price much. No need for the bitcoin price to jump to $50,000 to $60,000 next month. This isn't a rush game.
2552  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: South Korea greenlights just one crypto exchange, 60 face closure on: September 29, 2021, 11:29:40 PM
Everyone ever realized that these bullshit news of bans and warnings only come up whenever Crypto market is on a bull run?
Come bear market, all the so-called regulators go into hiding. This only means that most Governments are not happy about the ever-increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies. But regardless of the news about bans, I don't think there will be much effect on the market.

It's not bullshit news. It's a serious one as crypto is now leading to a centralized form slowly. The bull run has nothing to do with it because that talk is already on the government discussion for a long. There's no quick decision and that's not possible. Let's say bull run, do you think government can just say, ban crypto or something else within a short timeframe? It needs a process.

But agree with the last part of your post, I also don't think there will be a big impact of it on the market for the long term. Soon price will emerge again upwards but the question is when.
2553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ASA to host gambling advertising webinar on: September 29, 2021, 11:25:24 PM
Unfortunately this webinar does not exist in our country, they never discuss advertising advertising in gambling. Many of the children or rather those under the age of 20 can still watch gambling advertisements. Either the government doesn't know about it or they really don't care about its impact on future generations.

We can't blame the government for that. The first place of awareness should come to the family. Gambling advertisements can't be controlled unless the government bans the whole thing which is impossible in those gambling-friendly countries.

For those under age 20, there might be curious about gambling but I trust most of them will not become early addicted gamblers as at that age, there are lots of activities they will encounter like playing video games, arcades, PC games, doing some trendy activities and many more.
2554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is crypto trading different from forex trading. on: September 29, 2021, 11:22:18 PM
hello everyone.
i sign up in this website to study how to trade crypto. i have traded little in forex but i do not understand major part of it. is crypto trading the same with forex trading? i want to learn how to trade from this website. i have account with binance and i have 85 usdt i dont know if it is too small for trading but that is what i can afford. anyone can help me with the link of how to learn from beginning and what type of thing to learn.

The purpose is just the same, buy low and sell high but on how to execute those is a bit different as even they are both volatile, their market behaviour is different. If you are not trading for long on Forex, you can't picture out the difference here in crypto. Since you have at least a little trading experience, I think you already know the basics and the goal. Try to familiarize first the interface on Binance for easy navigating. The trading part is on the upper tab. If you are on the app, just go to Trades.

Your $85 USDT is a good start. You can choose some coins there but that's another topic to discuss as we have different factors in what coins to choose.
2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance NonVerified Account Questions. on: September 29, 2021, 11:17:37 PM
I had some altcoins on Binance.  But when I heard about kyc i withdraw it. Because I don’t want to take any risk on my coins. Now I submit kyc and my account is intermediate verified. If you don't want to submit kyc better withdraw your funds.

Not being KYC doesn't restrict you to withdraw your coins. KYC is for the account limit.

We can expect a mandatory KYC on Binance but I don't see it happening soon. Just relax a bit. If ever there will be changes, surely Binance will give time for their users to withdraw coins for those who are not willing to undergo KYC.

Anyways, you are now a KYC verified and just enjoy trading there. You also unlock now the P2P feature.
2556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 27, 2021, 11:37:56 PM
Butler could probably make more money by stepping aside and allowing Casimero to fight Inoue. Inoue needs an opponent for the end of the year and it would be a shame if he couldn't fight a big name due to the sanctioning bodies getting in the way. Hopefully an agreement is reached and we will see a unification fight instead of the mandatory.

Is Casimero vs Inoue is really a thing that needed to happen now quickly? Why Butler will step aside? If Casimero will lose in that fight, then Butler can direct to Inoue as no reason now for Casimero to fight the Japanese champion. He will make more money if he wins against Casimero. I don't see any wrong with that mandatory fight. It's a good practice for Casimero to test his skills as he wasn't able to release that during his fight against Rigo. In that way, he will be more prepared to fight the aggressive Inoue.

Forget Inoue vs Casimero for now. Move on now guys.
2557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Karnataka ( A state in India ) they introduced bill in assembly to ban o.gamblin on: September 27, 2021, 11:29:20 PM
Karnataka ( A state in India ) just introduced a bill in assembly to ban online gambling in the state which does mean that the players won't be able to use anything like that anymore. People will have maximum imprisonment UpTo 3 years or would have to pay 1 lac. Inr. Virtual currencies are also included in the same. It does not involve lottery or wagering, horse racing outside the state. For people who are addicted the punishment would increase every moment, it would start from a lower amount and lower imprisonment and increase tremendously for every next offence.

Online gambling only?

If that's the agreement then maybe Karnataka wants the gambling revenue just to be focused on their physical casinos there. If the state is really in need of revenue as India itself got heavily affected by Covid-19, then they plan very well to solve it. Online gambling becomes a trendy activity while being lockdown as physical casinos are close. But if that applies to all gambling, online or physical, then maybe that state now put an end to any gambling activities.
2558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 27, 2021, 11:25:30 PM
Despite that we don't like the politics of the league, there should still be players that won't be involved into such throw/insider game.
Can't guarantee that because even the biggest league like the NBA, there are still some rumors that games are rigged although nothing has been proven yet. If NBA can be rigged, then PBA is not an exemption as it's definitely a small league that is controlled by the rich team owners.
We know that such exists but this guy is vulgar and he's the one offered himself in. I guess it's just because he's caught and those that are uncaught, they'll stop being involved in such activities of throwing.
If it's the management like the sister teams that are giving wins to each other, that's the politics that's turning into a throw/rigged game which is really happening.

Sooner or later, that issue will be forgotten. PBA teams are known to have a deal with each other, especially within sister teams. That was something it can't be public. But no teams will be honest about that since that will damage the reputation of PBA which in return, no viewers will now watch and follow the league. Only speculations of bigayan is what we always read and just speculation.
2559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 27, 2021, 11:20:58 PM

Have you watched Butler and Graballo's Games? if not then try checking if back their last 3 games and you can compare how good they are in their own divisions .
let us not be blinded because of Donaire and Casimero's popularity instead lets look at what are their opponent capacity to face them and the possibilities of beating them.
But then still we will find the result after the fight.
but of course I will be aiming for Casimero to win because i wan't him to face Inoue very soon .

Others are just disappointed because they only know the names of Donaire and Casimero. If they really idolize these boxers then whoever their matchup, they should just accept it. Both Donaire and Casimero just need to win on their respective match so that they can arrange again the cancelled fight between them or possible against the top 1 Naoya Inoue next.

It's also best to see that other PH boxer is on the list. Let's support them all.

They are disappointed because they like to see a match up between champions, and with this news, looks like the dream match will not happen anytime soon, instead, it will only prolong as both champions (Donaire and Casimero) will have to train again in preparation of this fight.

Most fast does not see it a competitive fight because the mandatory challenger is not popular in the boxing world.

Seriously it's a dream match? You make me lol on that hehe. Just finished what the WBO told them. As I said, if they were able to win on their assigned matches, the negotiation between Casimero and Donaire will come soon.

Just be hope that none of them lose. No sense to talk about their fight if they will lose in their next fight. They need to hype their name first that's why they need to win first in order for viewers to be attracted once Casimero-Donaire now arranged.
2560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 27, 2021, 10:58:39 PM
Well, I bet the Lakers vs Nets game will be the kickoff, I believe it will be a good game, but not all starters will play.

Is there any news out there now that starters will not play? Since it was a Pre-Season opening, I think starters will play but for just limited minutes as always.

Since it's the Lakers and Nets, if things got heated up and the game is close, I'm sure they will take the game seriously as they are pumped. Hope even for limited minutes, both teams will unleash their superstars. A 15 to 20 minutes playing time for their superstars should be ok. Smiley
