I was horrified watching both cards, there were so many bad injuries. Rodrugiez is a really crazy guy, he got a knee hit on the head while he was double diving in the first minutes of the game, and that knee slash left him with a cleft. It was probably the worst I've ever seen, but the referees said they didn't finish the match, it could continue. Then he managed to beat Njokoan in the second round, what a comeback. He fights so professionally that I never felt uneasy, despite the bloodshed.
The same injury occurred in the main card match, Song was badly injured. He had a large opening in his brow. Sandhagen easily pass his opponent's guard with elbow strikes. Song took a lot of elbow hits. Song is a strong athlete, but it was very easy for me to predict what he will do, it would be better if he created a different style.

For me, it was a really close match great for the young Song Yadong to hang on with Cory Sandhagen despite his height and reach advantage, and Sandhagen was on the advantage when Cory Sandhagen sprawled into a takedown but it was just a setup to combo his punches or a flying knee to Yadong, even though that Sandhagen's takedown was not really successful it was just used as a set up for his combo, but with those Sandhagen's takedown Song Yadong was capitalizing it and out grapple Sandhagen this is bad for Sandhagen in the future and I think that Yadong is really exposing Cory here, and on round 2 Song Yadong out punch and pressure Sandhagen, and this is not going to be successful if it wasn't for his perfect defense of pivoting head movement I think Cory Sandhagen was just lucky if not for that Stoppage, and even if Yadong losses I think this is just another learning experience for him because this kid is likely still have a high ceiling of progress,

My prediction for that game was dead wrong. I think I overestimated the offensive power of the Aces and their ability to win on the road. Both my bets were punished with a loss.
The Suns proved that the home crowd can ignite them. Their defense is everywhere. They controlled the glass, rotated to take away open shots, and jump passing lanes. Their energy is far above what they have shown early in this series.

 This was a really dangerous move by Nathan Collins. It's good that Grealish didn't get injured after his kick to his chest. Because of the system of the Lakers, it was Westbrook who resulted not perform well, people based his previous stats and the current stats with the Lakers and they saw a big drop, so it's normal for them to think that Westbrook is not fit with the Lakers. If it's really the coach that is the problem, then we can assume that Westbrook will be back with great stats this new season.
Pretty much I think that the Lakers is not needing a 2nd super scorer at the moment and because Russell Westbrook is not performing well, he surely will be the eye for the blame in not getting near any championship, and right now the Laker have signed a young 29 years old guard Dennis Schröder, he is now back on the Lakers I think the Lakers have done this because they really needed players on defense and for this, I think Russell Westbrook really needs to think twice and because he is stubborn it is better to just quit his basketball career,
I agree that it shouldn't be the eye only to him but also to the others as well. But as the eye centers on Westbrook, it's because he's a star player and expectations to him are way up the highest than of those other players on the roster of the Lakers.
The coaching staff? I don't think that there's anything to do with it, well if there is then that's very minimal and little to be considered. Otherwise, they really have to rotate and make decisions wisely for this upcoming season in almost everything where they've fell apart.
Yup! I know we can not put all the blame on Russell Westbrook and the other players that are worst performing than him, but we can not compare Russell Westbrook to the young new players of the Lakers because Westbrook has landed on the Lakers despite his age because they surely hoping for Westbrook to perform well and they are expecting great things to happen because he is a superstar and Russell Westbrook not performing well because he is not in his prime anymore given the fact that they are paying him so much but he can not deliver on that amount that he is getting, for me the blame will surely all goes to him, |

Canelo Álvarez VS Gennadiy Golovkin
The Trilogy fight surely needs answers, but in their 1st fight it was surely a slow pace beginning rounds, in my opinion, Canelo Alvarez was on the advantage, and it was really a controversial result, but in their 2nd fight Canelo Alvarez has proven that he surely win their 1st fight, so in this trilogy fight I think I will go in favor with Canelo Alvarez,
Jesse Rodriguez VS Israel Gonzalez
for this fight, the younger Jesse Rodriguez really has a decent record that Israel Gonzalez and Rodriguez really getting with those KO/TKO wins he really keeps on going on with the kill, while Israel Gonzalez seems ok with his decision wins, so for me, Jesse Rodriguez might have a shot in winning here, so my pick will be Rodriguez,
Ali Akhmedov VS Gabriel Rosado

It's boring because only the same team is doing well and that's all in every season like Bayern Munich. But if for this season it is recognized or not recognized the Bundesliga has started to be a little different with the increase in the performance of teams such as Dortmund, Freiburg and Union Berlin which some people do not think that they can be good this season so that the boring things that have happened in the Bundesliga have started to disappear a little.

This has been suggested by quite a few fans, and I believe some fighters also somewhat accused them of doing this. I always thought that a change of an opponent on the day before would be rejected by the commission, as it's usually a few days before right?
I don't want to go into conspiracy mode, since it's a business, and they can technically do whatever they want as long as the commission agrees to allow whatever they do. So, I wouldn't be mad if that was the case, because it did make the event better, although it was still a little underwhelming I thought, nothing too memorable. However, if that was all staged, and planned then it really does make the UFC look more, and more like the WWE.
It will all end up with this kind of speculation because of a sudden change people will think that Khamzat Chimaev had special treatment by Dana White, and this is the 1st time within the day switch of the fight, but yeah this is all just rumor and conspiracy theory by fans because we surely have a different question that is an answered, and the way the UFC handles it is controversial, but still I don't really believe that Chimaev is the mastermind for all this there is some higher authority that is really orchestrating this, I don't want to say, Dana White? It could be like the WWE where it is orchestrated by the general manager, but it is bloodier than the WWE, but yeah it is all staged and planned by someone, Found an interesting video on youtube called Paulo Costa Steals Khamzat Chimaev's Hat. Now I really want Chimaev to go to middleweight and stay there for a while By the look on Costa biceps, hard to believe he is a middleweight. I know that fighters cuts and have off-seasons. But he is like ~100kg there. Btw, the fight between Chimaev and Holland was so useless for Chimaev, unbelievable. Dont UFC have fighters that can go on a very-very-very short notice? Arent there guys that secure fight? I remember in a fight between Makhachev and Hooker, Ferguson was the guy that can replace any of the fighters, in case something happens. Like one of them gets into hospital during cutting weight. And that looks like a "very-very-very short notice" to me. Which makes me believe there are such guys in UFC and UFC 279 drama was staged. Paolo Costa is one Sick dude, I think this guy is mentally ill, he surely needs a beating a loss from Israel Adesanya is not enough but maybe against Khamzat Chimaev, he may now have 2nd thought in doing this kind of thing, and Paulo Costa being Costa with his secret juice is just relaxing so much for the upcoming fight and I think if these two would have a fight in the future, I think Costa will be missing the Weigh-ins and as Chimaev who likes to SMESH!!! Everybody will accept the fight just like Vettori did, well Costa will be on an advantage on the weight so he can be hard to wrestle on the ground, This is what I see that may come when these two clashes, It is useless to Chimaev because Holland is still not in the top 15 ranks and getting that short notice you can see how easily Chimaev had worked on the takedown and submission chain on Holland and I think this is Chimaev showing Nate Diaz what could happen to him if he fights Khamzat Chimaev, it will be a brutal fight for him, |
