2541  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pretending Binanace to Scam People! on: August 21, 2022, 05:43:18 PM
The purpose of the sender of this email is to steal the account information of the binance user through phishing links. So there is no question here of getting the gift, rather the op realized it at the right time and saved himself from this scam. Before opening any email, verifying the email address is more important than the sender's name. And if you analyze the information of the op, you will see that email address is not of binance.
It was not a phishing email after all. OP was overlooking at like some of us did before but later it was clear that the link was tracking to real Binance account. It was just a different domain to help them tracking the marketing.
2542  Other / Meta / Re: How to promote BTCTalk on YouTube? on: August 21, 2022, 12:00:40 PM
I’m first curious if anyone knows why they censor the hell out of this site (yet don’t censor any bot scam posts).
Google bot is fine to approve scammers adlink but when it's bitcointalk then they have panic LOL.
It must be some strategic movement to create obstacle for Bitcoin.
Anyway, have a custom domain and create a website, blog or service it does not matter. Promote that website and the website will be mainly referring to bitcointalk. It's gonna be a lot of work but once a hyperlink in banned then you have no other way except choosing the hard path.
2543  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $500 exchange scam on: August 20, 2022, 07:23:10 PM
Now all your friends, including BitcoinGirl.Club, are screaming
Don't twist your dick, dickhead.
2544  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $500 exchange scam on: August 20, 2022, 07:19:36 PM
I see, right now I'm 100% sure the money he sent me he scammed from someone else so I have decided to donate those money to an animal shelter (I love cats). If I send the coins back to him he will keep on doing what he does best, scam people out of their hard earned money.
There are no problem if you donate money that your own but it's not your own (remaining). Technically it's his money so if I was you then I would return the difference back. I don't need to care where from the money came. That's his business.
2545  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $500 exchange scam on: August 20, 2022, 07:15:00 PM
Should I send the difference back or punish this little scammer for what he did?
Yes you should. Because you are not a scammer like him. After deducting the amount he scammed you, the rest are his money not yours. So, from moral point of view I will suggest you to send the money back to his wallet and move on. His account is already tagged so at least from this account he can not do any trade.
2546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $500 exchange scam on: August 20, 2022, 07:09:13 PM
Reading your conversation, I am going to tag the accused party. I hope they come and defend in their support.
Please don't! If you read the other thread started by alterra57, you will realize who is the real scamper here.
F**k you! LOL. Good Job.

I'll just comment on this:
OP, from the screenshot you posted, in one of your replies you said this: "Give me proof  it's me and take money I m not dsadsa and I don't know who is this".
I'll give you a proof. This is the transaction ID sent by dsadsa: https://mempool.space/tx/c306113746b9cf78d6823ee75260ad311d612f0ae3c145207bccf71b2fdb5e44
Which was replaced by this one: https://mempool.space/tx/e5e783122e3c2dcd3b4ec3b1ed5533fe3b0438512c5597625351d0f108737c7f
The coins were sent to this address: bc1qtey6w27temcjdsv5uaglfa97d3a56flfv6w7eh which was used as input in the transaction you linked in OP (your address)

So, can you explain why someone you don't even know who he is (sdasda) sent you $500 worth of bitcoin?
After finding out the connection I do not think Deonnn should have an answer. I am going to remove the tag from alterra57 and will request him to send the difference back. As I assume he received higher amount than the amount Deonnn / his alt wanted to scam.

@alterra57, sorry bother for misunderstanding.
2547  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Replaced transaction. Double spending attack? on: August 20, 2022, 06:57:19 PM
I am coming from the scam accusation topic from Deonnn

Mutual characteristics between the 2 accounts.
I am not convinced that any of the characteristics you have listed are enough to make a definitive link between these two accounts. It seems to me that there is a not insignificant chance that you have just stolen $500 worth of bitcoin from an innocent third party.
I agree here that the evidences are not enough to keep his $500 and pretending that the other user was Deonnn.

@alterra57 I left you a tag from the other topic. I think you should send the BTC back to Deonnn if you are not interested to trade with him.

Update: How is this topic belongs to the Bitcoin Technical Support board?
2548  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $500 exchange scam on: August 20, 2022, 06:41:38 PM
How can he achieve the truth if users, using their authority, accused him of scam? Even if he sends all the evidence, they will yell that he is a scammer, just like they did to me
Your case was, you were trying to sell some coin that does not worth $1 against USDT. So clearly you were intentionally trying to scam people. There are no point to yell. You need to learn to move on.

Amount Scammed: 500 BTC/$500
Payment Method: Bitcoins
Proof of Payment:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/5bf44f3b65573b3c8e975eb0f68e991a77621e037ff4492856e4c126d5c27222
Can you sign one of the input address of the tx? This will prove that the coin were sent from your wallet.

Reading your conversation, I am going to tag the accused party. I hope they come and defend in their support.
2549  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pretending Binanace to Scam People! on: August 20, 2022, 01:38:18 PM
Code:
https://log.bntrace.com/bapi/composite/v1/public/message/view-url
it redirected to the real Binance.com which I bookmarked.
If the URL takes to the real Binance domain then there are nothing wrong with it. In email marketing of any kind of marketing using tracking link even with having an external domain is a regular practice. Reading the domain "bntrace", I can translate it to "Binance Trace".

May be this is not a phishing case. OP overlooked at it.
2550  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SandBoxCasino.io (AKA: www.Owl.Games) won't pay me $127,000 on: August 20, 2022, 01:31:12 PM
SandBoxCasino uses Owl.games' casino software, but SandBoxCasino apparently operates on its own and works independently from Owl.games. Their admin has stated they have their own userbase and bankroll among other things.
In this case there were no need to bring Owl.Games connected to the case. Owl.Games is just a provider like any other providers for the sportsbooks and casinos we have. OP intentionally wanted to drag Owl.Games into his case so that he can blackmail Owl.Games to recover his fund, I do not see any other intention for him other than this.

In scam accusations, we tend to take the side of a accuser easily but some people takes advantages of it. I think we should look at a case from both sides. OP may have a case but that's against SandBoxCasino.io.

Considering someone is going to send 100 Chip. How long it is going to take to expect the return of the Chip. I understand we do not know future but a demonstration will be nice.

When and where can we find the key?
2552  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] FREEWALLET.ORG SCAM 6k on: August 20, 2022, 11:01:08 AM
[...]
First, no hurt feeling; no one cares about your daughters birthday. It's an unknown place you are now.

Second, what the hell is FREEWALLET.ORG?
I am not saying that I did not hear the name but after checking the link you provided in OP I see they are red all around. I have no idea how are they still doing business.

I hope they don't consider that it's such a small amount that support is willing to give it back to you.
$6k is not a small amount of money no matter in which corner of the world you are living.
2553  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Massively fraudulent Escrow Transaction! on: August 20, 2022, 09:31:58 AM
[....]
The forum account can be hacked and unfortunately you were targeted. If you both or the Trio (You, OG and Burky155) were using signed bitcoin address to communicate with each others using current date then I think this sort of damaged could be avoided.

OG in his signed message:
Code:
Today ____ day, send the amount to this address

Burky155 in his signed message:
Code:
Today ____ day, tracking number

You in your signed message:
Code:
Today _____ day, please release the fund.

Whatever you do; the idea is, the important information should be digitally signed from known bitcoin address. So you do not need to trust the forum account or telegram account or any account.

I am wondering why OG and minerjones or anyone else who are offering their escrow service do not practice digitally secured signing.

Meanwhile, why isn't Burky155's account tagged, and perhaps a flag created yet?
This is not going in my head. The timing.

Assuming Burky155 is a hacker. How the hell he had this clear timing when BetGalaxyADM needed the mining hardware, he see and order it then hack BetGalaxyADM to confirm OG to release the fund?
2554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pretending Binanace to Scam People! on: August 20, 2022, 09:03:58 AM
I have received an email
The email address I used to buy Ledger Nano and to subscribed few crypto related sites and later those were hacked, I receive these kind of emails all the day. You need to learn to delete the emails.

Unfortunately, the hackers are making money from it from the amature internet users.
2555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SandBoxCasino.io (AKA: www.Owl.Games) won't pay me $127,000 on: August 20, 2022, 08:57:21 AM

What I understand is you (owlgames) are game provider/software provider for SandBoxCasino. Please confirm that I get the idea clear.

In other words, the SandBoxCasino forum admin can say: sure, use VPN. We don't mind.
It's a sales man pitch but it's shady practice. What matter is what they have in TOS. If TOS allows VPN then SammyGambler has a case or SammyGambler needs to explicitly show where the admin said yes for the VPN and then again how would we verify it. It is going to be complected.

2556  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to disable Newbies from receiving PMs on: August 18, 2022, 06:29:21 PM

This comes to mind:
Limiting newbie participation is very harmful for a community. Newbie jail will never return: I consider the newbie-jail period to have been extremely damaging to the forum. When barriers to participation are too high, then the best people often just won't go to the trouble of joining, and the people who are willing to jump through the hoops are often people who aren't good for the community: people with nothing better to do, scammers, get-rick-quickers, etc. Having a permanent newbie jail policy would improve things a lot in the short-term, but would end up being a fatal poison to the community.
Let's mark out something else too.
Who is going to pay evil fees. The one who really needs to do something in the forum except a regular use. Seeing many alt accounts (at least it feels they are they way they easily understand how trust system works or knows other forum users) these days gives me a feeling that all these good looking alt accounts are actually accounts from the users who were spamming the hell but realized the accounts are too old to give some efforts then why not make a fresh start. They give up the other account and start fres with the new account. They know they can earn some money from the signature. Not saying earning from signature is bad but when they have malicious intention they know how to be smart.

The users who are completely new but had genuine intention to ask a bitcoin related question, can not bother to pay the evil fees to pay. Even if they pay, when they will see there are so many other restrictions, they will leave it out of frustration.
2557  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com - DNS hosting service has expired. on: August 18, 2022, 05:40:07 PM
May i ask for how much did you buy it ?
The regular price for .net on registrar (Namesilo) $11.79
the domain was free to register until I bought it  Wink. Yap, that sounds strange.

I have to say it's rather cheap considering popularity of preev.com.
It's of course cheap. Dumb people like me always type preev in the address bar and not caring about the TLD LOL
By the way .com is better in the sense that search engine likes it but others TLD are fine to as long as a site is used by people.

It's not okay to see Preev is down again. It's been last few days the site is down.
2558  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM WARNING] QI Blockchain Plagiarized Whitepaper and Website Content on: August 18, 2022, 04:31:52 PM
You are such an egoistic person I seen in this forum. I am just MOD of the project and I am sharing with you the update of this projecct and you are blaming me? What kind of stupidity is it?

Oh, I see. So you're part of the Fox campaigns team or an alt of Jawadu? How am I supposed to know that if you've never mentioned it before?
I guess that explains the fake retaliatory feedback left on my account. You know that's trust abuse, right?

Dorjoy Khan    2022-08-16    Reference    Fake report about the project called Qi blockchain. He taken no research about the project but just found few information on the website and internet .

By the way, when did I blame you, and for what exactly?

Oh stop the drama LOL
Well honestly speaking a project can be ruined by the third party workers if they do not have work ethic. It's not always easy to find the right person. But I doubt it's the case here.
I see their website homepage and a 12 year kid can design a html page like this. Are they really thinking to crowdfunding using this website?

It will be a big LOL.
2559  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetChain Casino scammed me on: August 18, 2022, 04:24:56 PM
I have written complaints about several well-known casino sites, but I have not received a response yet. What else can I do?
If they are licensed then try to reach out to the license provider. You can ask legal aid. But considering the amount you are claiming, going though all these additional work really not worth it. Next time avoid the casino.

I would suggest the same like the user above me. You should be putting some evidence of your claim otherwise you are asking others to believe your words.
2560  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to disable Newbies from receiving PMs on: August 18, 2022, 04:12:32 PM
Newbie get proxy ban
They face captcha
They have 360 seconds time limit between making posts
They can not post image
They can not wear avatar
They can not wear signature
They can not do many things.
We are making the forum very much newbie unfriendly. Do we not need any new bitcoin user to join us anymore? There are moderators who have their job to keep the spam clear. Shall we not let them do their work?
