2541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun alone? how true? on: February 23, 2022, 09:12:47 AM
I gamble for fun, but it feels better if I win it of course. I remember one time I put a big amount in one game and I lose it, it feels weird in my stomach like stress running all over my body. I believe there are those who can take that, especially the rich guys but not for an average person who would like to win both the game and their bet.
But I do believe there are those who could spend money gambling and won't even care about it so much at the end of the day.

It's normal to feel that way even if you have a lot money to lose because you are losing something and you are playing because you want to win and winning is the source of fun in gambling. We should admit that we really want to win to have fun because we can always play slot, card game and other games without risking money if want to have fun by just playing alone.

Winning is everything in gambling. No one is happy when losing regardless on how much money we lose on the process.

Coinbase is a Centralized exchange so there's no for the ToA guy can freely move the money that he get out of Coinbase without being caught or followed since Coinbase applies mandatory KYC to all there customer and I'm pretty sure that they will find this exploit sooner or later once they do an audit so the best choice for the guy who found the bug to get a clean money as a reward is to report it and accepts the reward money in clean way.
If KYC is a mandatory requirement, surely all customers have been verified and do this exploit not necessarily from his own account. I think there are actually many ways, he could open an offer to sell his coinbase balance heavily discounted on other sites including the darkweb or convince a verified customer to withdraw his BTC gradually.

I doubt that someone in the darkweb will buy this kind of offer with million dollars since they will think that why would the seller  will sell the exploit info while he can use it for his own benefits? They will not risk huge money for not a sure profit. It's like selling dice script or other tricks here that promise for a profit yet why will the seller it rather thn use it for there personal gain.

The guy who reported it do the right thing to have secure profit IMHO.
2543  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase | Trading bug (high level) detected thanks to Tree of Alpha on: February 23, 2022, 06:50:01 AM
Recently, the Tree of Alpha (ToA)'s twitter account caught the public's attention that Coindesk covered a summary of the storyline, you can read it here.

In short (technically), the "Advanced Trading" bug allows users to place orders for coins that you don't have (e.g BTC) by using other coins in the portfolio into equivalent units. In his experiments, ToA managed to sell (filled) 0.0243ETH as 0.0243 BTC and 50SHIB as 50BTC.
Bug detail explanation by ToA

By the way, ToA claims to have been awarded a $250k bounty for his efforts (more than the limit offered by the bug bounty program). If we look at the daily trading volume of Coinbase, which reaches an average of over $2B, is the bounty worth it? Actually it's easy to get more than that if he initially want to "play". Many comments on his twitter that this guy is the savior of the market.

A little greediness on his side will gonna cost him a lot.

As we are planning to build crypto portfolio for the future it's wiser to have someone in the family that know about our holding too, last week Monday I lost my father and so many things come to my mind like if I die tomorrow all my holding goes to waste since I'm not married yet and i am the only son I don't have anyone I can trust, anyone thinking the same?

This is the cons of crypto since we choose our privacy. This is the worst case scenario that might hit on us since there's no one knows what we are doing. We should accept the fact that this is our fate if we stick to our privacy or sacrifice a part of it and share our crypto assets to the person that we trust such as lawyer that will do the paper works for your asset transfer to whoever you want to receive it after your death.

AFAIK, There's an automated email that will send your desired mail once you are not active for a certain period time then bot will send your mail to the target address.
2545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage Opportunities' on: February 21, 2022, 08:36:09 AM
Seriously, one of the easiest ways that I started with arbitraging and leverage practice was was using  multiple live demo accounts. Took me upwards of 4 months of losing play money practicing on a daily basis until month 5 I reached break even and then from there started to see profits. Only then was I confident enough to start using my real coins, and even then I started really small.

Here's my advice:

1- Find multiple trading platforms that have demo accounts:
https://www.etoro.com/trading/demo-account/
https://demo.hitbtc.com/
https://bitsgap.com/demo-trading/

To name a few

2- Spend a few hours or whatever you can afford to practice your trading!

3- Dont under any circumstances get greedy, you need to reach a point where you can read charts, see leverage opportunities find gaps in market sentiment etc. You need to be winning at least 51% more then you are losing on a daily basis

4- Only then (it took me 4 months) do you start trading with real crypto, and also always start small (do not take out loans etc)

5- If you arent pulling in above 51% wins vs losses then this game sadly isnt for you

My humble opinion!

What kind of arbitrage trading are you doing that requires you 4 months to master and give you a low win rate percentage? You doing arbitrage trading because you are certain that there's a price difference in different trading pairs that will give you a small sure profit. No one doing arbitrage trading without securing the other trading pairs that will be use to sell the tokens with profit. You are messing up this thread with your leverage trading strategy which is not being ask here. Besides you are using shitty exchanges except Etoro when doing a demo trades which is sucks.

EG choking again on every Valve tournament finals by there easy to predict draft by Bulba. They never realized how small the hero they giving Abed which is very easy to counter on a best of 5 series game. I thought my bet of +1.5 to TSM will gonna be burned when EG manage to comeback and get the lead by winning game 3 of the match. Miraculously there drafts on game 4 and 5 is so easy to predict and counter which TSM capitalize on the long run. I notice too that JerAx is playing a bit odd on there match, His positioning is always so bad that always so result into pick off.  Cheesy
2547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 04:17:46 AM
What a wonderful All-Star game this year, they managed to overcome the boring Dunk contest yesterday and turned this one into an unforgettable moment. Steph has thrown threes in his usual range where the other players cannot stop him and finally, Team Lebron won the game, All-Star MVP is Stephen Curry. even though Team Durant has been leading the game throughout the quarters, Team Lebron managed to come back and beat them in the last minutes of the 4th Quarter.

Super wonderful since it's a close and everyone has there chance to show off there skills. I'm just really upset on my bet that didn't accepted for a draw score on 3rd quarter, I was supposed to win x17 odds by the time I create the bet. I was excited to go back and watch the live and didn't notice that my bet was rejected due to change odds. I was already happy while watching the game since I know that I won then  when I check just now, This bull crap surprised me. Lesson learned though but I enjoy watching the game.
2548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best casinos that gives dividends to token holders? on: February 21, 2022, 02:23:35 AM
Owl.games offer a 10% of the profit as there reward to there token holders. They do buy-back program and burn it and also they have a mining pool for token holders that can mine BUSD or other partner token by staking there OWL tokens, So the price of token is stable due to buy back while user can earn passive profit by mining on the pool which is the good part on this Casino unlike other Casino that requires you a lot things to do while the token value itself is not protected to loss of value.
2549  Economy / Speculation / Re: ukraine battlefield bear market on: February 20, 2022, 02:39:40 PM
But I think BTC will go up if there will be war.
God forbid because this war will be the most terrible due to the nukes each party had been developing. Large portion of earth could be wiped out

There's really a possibility that Bitcoin might skyrocket if the war ignite since people find a way to transfer there asset to something that can't be destroy but there's no guarantee that we are all alive if a war really ignite since its probably the start of WW3 which nukes will gonna flood the sky targeting each other country. But I believe this cold war will gonna stop once each side come up to an agreement that will benefit both country.

Honestly, Only Ukraine wants to start it since there leader is urging NATO to do an aggressive action towards Russia because they are already scared and can't be take the responsibility of his action.
2550  Economy / Services / Re: Knowledge As A Service on: February 20, 2022, 07:56:31 AM

IMO, it would be better to have information validated by those with the credentials to do so, rather than letting anybody have their say.

In theory, This should be the proper way of validating information same on thesis validation but since the aim of the project is a complete decentralized validation, There aim to work like a DAO which gives power to all the token holders to validate. This will work if there's an exception such as a special group of panel which describes as your suggestion of professional that will do a final validation to all the result produced by the public input on the said data validation.

PSG.LGD sweep RNG for both comeback match.
LGD are so good. They are 9-0 and only dropped 4 games so far in DPC CN... no chance whatsoever for RNG or Aster in the Grand Final, quick 3-0 for LGD

Let' see if the 7.31 patch will change the meta just enough so that the cn region can be more competitive again

Yeah, PSG. LGD is pretty strong in the current meta no matter how bad the situation. So far I can't see any of there match that become a one-sided fight coz they always manage a solution in all of there match by trusting Ame to recover his farming since he is so good on farming his items. He has a discipline and a smart way to enter the team fight unlike other carry players that has an unstable performance.

I want to give credits too on PSG.LGD supports and core since they are doing a great job to give Ame space and openings for both farming and team fight. I hope they maintain this performance until TI.
2552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: February 19, 2022, 12:33:46 PM
PSG.LGD sweep RNG for both comeback match. RNG always during early to mid game then they always having a problem on closing the game because they are too scared to go high grand while giving Ame space to farm his items. RNG knows that LGD carry is good at late game yet they are keeping the game so long which is the reason for there back 2 back defeat. Good thing is I didn't any of them especially during live since its very tempting to bet +1.5 on RNG coz they always have the early advantage.
2553  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTC Casino (ltccasino.com) - most fair crypto casino with highest RTP on: February 19, 2022, 04:37:49 AM
It looks like they are not that active here in the forum, I haven't tried the website yet but I would like to give suggestion or leave feedback for them to read do they have chat support on where we can contact them in the website? Just like what I have said if they focus on privacy and anonymity they should consider adding XMR or Zcash.

There account is always online here. They are just reading comments and suggestions here without any reply to each of the question which is already recycled and what you 1xbit guys bringing up over and over again just to make a post on gambling section.

After there announcement about Felix Gaming script that result to there loss. They already stop responsing here which brings a lot of speculation but we didn't know exactly what they are thinking.
2554  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTC Casino (ltccasino.com) - most fair crypto casino with highest RTP on: February 19, 2022, 01:28:17 AM
Perhaps it has been discussed before, but the name LTC actually only implies that you can gamble with Litecoin and not with other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. Did the management of this site make a conscious choice? Because with the Bitcoin, most players buy and I'm talking about 95%. The Litecoin is used much less. But I could also be completely wrong. Come on, I'm just giving my opinion on this. Bitcoin is an absolute requirement anyway or the name is a bit misleading.

Your point is too shallow for you to understand that the most important thing here is they are a crypto casino that accepts both Bitcoin and Litecoin. The management preferred the name of LTC and he didn't need our opinion to correct his prefererence. Bitcoin is not the absolute requirements on his Casino since you are not forced to deposit Bitcoin to play using other token so how's that become an absolute requirement.

Bitcointalk forum has an altcoin section which contributes approximately more than half of the discussion here. Shall we rename the forum to Altcointalk?  Huh
2555  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fun Stats about Bitcoin Casinos | Infographic on: February 18, 2022, 02:13:59 PM
Thank you for the idea of cutting the image. The full size looked terrible here

You can resize the image using this BBCode command [img width=xx height=xx] to adjust the size to your desired visibility. It's much better to browse here in the forum compared to the website since the website response is so slow when I scroll the picture from top to bottom.

You can implement too the idea of @UserU to make your thread is more informative. Most of the user here preferred to have the source of each event on your research for verification of all the facts you stated on your Infographic. There's a lot of potential improvements for data on your idea so you really did a good job on this one.
2556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: February 18, 2022, 10:43:10 AM
Who is currently watching DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Finals? The 4 teams qualified for the finals is all strong but LGD and RNG outstand the other 2 teams so it will be an easy money if you will bet on them on this tournament because Chinese dotes is always consistent especially if they are facing same country team since they have same play style and thinking. The match between old LGD roster that is now on RNG is very exciting to watch because Ame can finally prove that he is not the reason why they didn't get the TI champ on there twice attempt during OG reign.

I like the development of Ame with his current team mate but RNG team is strong team since they have the 3 original member of strong LGD before. Who do you think will win on this tournament?

Not that best but it will help them manage to attract and get more investors to hold Owl token.

Is anybody was able to trade on pancakeswap successfully w/ owl token?

Can you provide us more information about the issue you are having?
Please try raising the slippage.

The slippage is 10% and the error says:
Code:
insufficient_output_amount

As per my research, this is about having low liquidity.

This is correct for a low liquidity pool volume since the price distribution setup of smart contract will be very per distribution on each assign price so the tendency is the slippage will be high the moment you buy. Since you see that error using 10% slippage, It only means that your token amount that you want to sell will gonna cause more than 10% changes on the current price that's why your transaction denied, Try to increment it 1% until your transaction become successful.

It's tough to back Heroic after their losing streak but I somewhat like them in this position since it's the opening match for them in this tournament and even though OG is on a solid streak i'm thinking it'll end up close and praying they'd get the edge since they're due for a win.

Also, Stake sent an email about an upcoming esports promotion, not sure what it is but I hope it's an insurance promo or maybe double winnings.

I'm so happy when Ragdoll sweep SMG on Dota2 yet OG in CS:GO break my happiness.

OG destroy my 3 bet parlay! It sucks that they easily give game 2 then they struggle to take the lead in game 3. They are always outplayed most of the time by heroic by using hiding spot that caught them off guard when going to the bomb site. Most of the bombs too of Heroic usually damaged 2 to 3 players on OG which is quite impressive accuracy in throw and prediction.

Its so good to watch there match especially the game 3. I believe OG become overconfident after they win the first set of the game.

"How to detect scam token on Binance Smart Chain"

If it's on Binance Smart Chain, it's a scam.

Most bullshit and lazy excuse from person that didn't want to DYOR. Scam project exist in all blockchain since it's easy to setup smart contract nowadays by just buying a ready to go code for a copy project while paying minimal fee for minting your own tokens. It's absurd to blame the Blockchain itself and mark it as general scam while it just host all the dapps running on it. There's still a lot of scam token on ETH compared to BSC. The only reason why BSC is an easy target by scammer is due to the fact that it has vast number of investors using it. Don't generalize!
2560  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTC Casino (ltccasino.com) - most fair crypto casino with highest RTP on: February 17, 2022, 10:17:28 AM
Yes we shouldn't be surprised that the this gambling site doesn't have promotions or welcome bonus since they don't ask users KYC or any kind of verification and if they give promotion or welcome bonus it can lead to abuse because anyone can create new accounts and use the promotion again until they succeeded in either the welcome bonus or any kind of promotion.
Ideally, as a new casino and for the sake of gaining the trust of members. Especially now that there are so many good ratings, so if LTCcasino can pay more attention to suggestions and input from members it will be very helpful to generate more interest. Maybe LTCcasino also has limited capital so it still can't share the allocation for the welcome bonus that has been prepared.

Based on my observation, They prioritized marketing in forum because they don't have an promotion here specifically for Bitcointalk user. Most probably they are doing there marketing on google ads or other place like social media and different gambling forum. It's not necessary to do ads here if they feel that they didn't want it since there's a lot of place that they can use as promotion spot. They just create ANN thread here to measure the interaction and conversion to the casino. They might be doing this kind move of move on different crypto gambling forum out there.
