Starting Rooney is a mistake, the guy is clearly past his prime and there is nothing that he can really over at the elite level anymore so it was no surprise Manchester United allowed him to go for free considering his weekly wages at the club. He was and is still not playing to the expectation. Exactly, Rooney should just call it quits because he's not the player that keeps scoring even in old age like Ryan Gigs and the rest. He's not in that category and the premier league is getting tougher by the day so i think he should do the honourable thing and move to the MLS or somewhere else for his retirement package and not the ever competitive premier league. Rooney mayn't score in all the matches right now but his presence is required on the field . Its not just about scoring goals for the team mate , its more about the experience you can utilize in certain situations. With the way Rooney is playing now, I don't even see the experience with which he is playing at all, He doesn't really contribute anything in the way that he plays. They really need fresh blood in the team. That Roma - Chelsea match really surprised me. El Sharaawy was the hero for that match for Roma. That 1st minute goal was amazing but the Chelsea defence was terrible.
This match did not surprise me, roma able to play well in stamford bridge last week full time resul 3-3 and roma win ball posestion 60%. I am very sure roma can beat Chelsea when playing in olympico . yeah full time result Roma 3 - 0 Chelsea . just needed 1 point for roma to qualify next round . I am also not surprised to see Chelsea get the defeat of AS Roma because at the time Chelsea plays at Stamford Bridge they only get a draw against AS Roma, and now proved they suffered a pretty crappy defeat when they have to visit Olympic Stadium. We would've loved to see what he will play like, but, he is ruled out for having a red card last match.

Today was the fifa award for "The Best" prize. As expected, Cristiano Ronaldo is the winner. In my point of view, and due the level that he is presenting in the previous few weeks, he does not deserve it. I know he won many trophies and was a main factor in winning the champions league trophy, but it does not make him necessarily the best in the world. Messi was and still the best and that's a fact that no one can deny.
Andres Iniesta presence in the world top XI is unfairness to many players like Coutinho, Kanté and others that deserved to be in his place.
I think the FIFA award for this best player deserves to be given to Cristiano Ronaldo because his judgment is not for this season but last season, so it can be said this award was given to the performance of the players in the last season.
